We had a wonderful family outing at the Air Force museum. My son had a great time interacting with the levers and buttons in the cockpits of the airplanes. The museum's extensive indoor and outdoor exhibits impressed us, and the gift shop offered simple toys at reasonable prices. Kids under 5 are free.

It was too bad that the museum has been temporarily closed due to Covid, but there is still lots that can be seen with many military aircraft parked outside. You can take photos of these great planes just outside of the security fence and won't have any strangers in the background. But be mindful of the barbed wire at the top of the chain linked fence. There are decades of fighter planes, like the Hurricane, to recently retired electric warfare, troop transport, helicopter search and rescue aircraft. This is a must see beautiful collection that is a national treasure. They really should have a big hangar dedicated to protect these aircraft so that future generations will be able to enjoy them as well. If you like my reviews, photos or videos wave your wings as you fly by and give them a thumbs up.

I had an amazing experience observing details of aircrafts. The staff was very nice and the place was very clean. I took a moment of silence to remember all who served and lost their lives in wars and conflicts. I highly recommend visiting this place.

Great museum! It was very enjoyable for both adults and child (8 years old). Outdoor exhibit is awesome, a great collection of military aircraft. It's a shame that interactive exhibits were closed and it wasn't possible to go inside but we will try to visit in a few ysars again. Worth the 2 hr drive from Toronto.

Absolutely impressive museum, showcasing the history of Canadian aviation. Make sure you set aside enough time for your visit. There are many beautifully disinged displays, some in comic-book narration style. The 'aircraft yard' is vast, with tens of flying machines on display. Definitely worth visiting.

Kids had a good time. Large space and lots to look at. 5 and under is free which is awesome. They had hand sanitizer around which was nice. Looking forward to visiting again in the summer when the outside is open.

Very extensive but concise presentations of the Royal Air Force history and alliances during the war time real operational defence in strategies and tactics from pilots cadet programs. Hopefully I’ll bring my friends and family here, good education to the kids that interested in the Air Force or aviation industry. I will definitely come again for more events and outdoor tour particularly updating more women cadets in the modern roles in leadership.

A great place for the whole family with enthusiastic guides and a great many things to see. I was stunned by the incredible array of vehicles on display. From WWI to Afghanistan, every Canadian mission is well represented. It's a great tribute to our proud aviation heritage.

We had a very good time. It has plenty of planes! I would add some kid size planes to walk in on the outdoor path. A little more interaction for kids to learn more like in a science center.

If you are in Tenton you need to visit this museum! Many hands on exhibits for children, and for history buffs a great collection if artifacts and memorabilia. They have assembled a really good outdoor static aircraft display that is a fantastic snapshot of Canada's Air Force history.

It's a great place to go for a few hours with the family or just yourself to see the history and enjoy some amazing aircrafts. Gift shop is a little pricey but to be expected. The cockpits you can sit in made my kids day. Worth it.

Great place to visit, if you want to get a tinch of the World War II aviation history. It’s a good 1-2 hour drive from Toronto, but was worth it. The staff were knowledgeable and explained about different bombers that were exhibited.. They had activities for kids as well. Great collection of real war planes from the history!

For a moment i’m fantasizing about all the planes transforming into Autobots and Megatrons… Hands down the best military museum ever! Kids loved the pilot stories and airforce histories narrated through mangas. Was a genius way to pass knowledge to kids! Extensive airplane display indoor and outdoor! Real uniform are a hit with kids and adults! I could pass the whole day there reading through everything!

The person who registered us was very nice. We were tourist, so we asked for more information and the lady at the reception gave us detailed information to visit. Worth learning new things. Was also able to see an actual air force flying in the sky. Fees are 8$ per person, no reservation required. Takes about 1 hour to complete the visit.

A very cool museum showcasing Canadian aviation, with a focus on the Royal Canadian Air Force. The highlight is the numerous airplanes parked in the field and in the hangar. There are various fighter jets from different periods in aviation history; there is even a MiG. Inside the hangar are various displays showcasing Canadian aviation history and the history of the RCAF. Highly recommend a visit if you're a history or aviation buff.

This was a fun and educational experience. It was fantastic to have pilots there to answer questions and expand further on the teaching points. It was child friendly and accessible.

Very good aircraft museum with the only surviving restored HP Halifax bomber in the world. As a RAF veteran I got free entry, along with my wife, with a donation made to the museum. The volunteer who greeted us was ex RCAF aircrew who served on RAF Tristars, and he kindly gave us a tour of the hangar. Good selection of RCAF aircraft outside but unfortunately they are weathering badly.

This is THE Air Force museum to visit if you are in Canada. They have an extensive collection of military aircraft on display indoors and outside along with some simulators for you to play with. With some luck, you may even be able to see active RCAF aircraft operating out of CFB Trenton (Canada's largest Air Force base next door).

Spent there four hours that felt like 15 minutes, so much to see and do. There is indoor exhibition as well as outdoor. Good amount of aircrafts some of them are pretty rare. A lot of cabin simulators that you can sit in. Definitely going to come back again!

We visited the museum this July, it was a great way to spend some time as a family. Displays were both indoor and outdoor. We were staying at Presqu'ile Provincial Park & this was not far. Great way to let the rain pass. There were some simulators as well, which was cool. Was not very expensive, $12 per adult & $10 for students (11-17).

Nice museum to know more about history and different planes and choppers used during war. Very knowledgeable and helping staff. It was disheartening that interactive stations and some other stations were closed due to pandemic. A must see for kids and youth. Spend good time with family.

Great history of the Canadian Air Force and aviation history. They have lots of info regarding the aircraft and their missions. Well worth the visit. I also enjoyed spending the time and searching for stones of relatives that served in the military and seeing all of the monuments.

Fantastic place to learn about aircrafts. They have a huge variety of machines, helicopters, fighter jets, commercial planes. The souvenir shop inside the meuseum is amazing. A nice place to spend couple of hours. They have a large parking lot(free).

Quite fun and filled with history. They have a Plane Park (I believe it was called something like that) which is outside, where there's multiple planes with history panels, graves for fallen soldiers, and monuments dedicated to different people and parts of the wars we've had. There's a couple flight simulators as well, where you can get a look at all the gauges and mechanics it took (and still somewhat takes) to fly. The only thing that might be a bit of a bother to some people is that you cannot go onto the planes, as they're historical pieces, and it may sometimes get a bit crowded, because the building itself is pretty small. The restorations look excellent, and true to history. There's also a gift shop, and I believe entry for one of us (my partner and I are both adults) was like.. $20 or so max, so well worth it. They also sometimes have guides which will discuss extra bits of history, and activities for kids under 12. Overall, pretty cool trip :)

Place needs a little more love, dont wear those coats to take pictures they smell and have bugs, my wife spotted oneπŸͺ³when I was wearing one. Outside, even if we are there to see the planes, I think it will be nice to see more info about what roll they play in canadian history and what important missions it achieved with a plate remembering how and when helped shaped the history of this country and for what it was replace with.

A must visit if you are passing by. Every exhibit is worth spending time on. Unfortunately, we arrived just an hour before closing time, so couldn't explore as much as we would have liked. Special thanks to the volunteer guide who enthusiastically narrated to us the history and the fine details of the main attraction - the Halifax bomber.

Oh wow, what a great museum about the National Air Force of Canada. The museum is located inside and outside (with an extensive collection of planes). There is a lot of informations to read also. It's definitely worth paying $10 for the entrance if you love planes!

What an awesome experience. Went with my wife and kids and my parents. My fathers father, my Granddad served as a Lancaster tail gunner in WWII and we donated his medals, pictures and air mans logs to the museum. Was truly an awesome experience for all of us.
