PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! THE EMOTIONAL TURMOIL THAT DR. GROSS put me through is not worth it. I went to confirm pregnancy with Dr. Ages who did a terrific job when she did my pap smear. However, she was out of office for 2 weeks and I decided (against better judgement) that I would return to the clinic and get confirmation from another competent doctor. I'm assuming this process should be quick and easy. If I could give these people no stars I would but because I got booked the next day they get half a star.( i round up to one by default) From my arrival , my experience was awful to say the least. I was booked to see Dr. Gross and the name is fitting. She asked me my name and she told me my name was not in the system (i checked in with reception and gave a urine sample for analysis). This lady asked if I go by another name. That was the first sign of madness. The second was when she asked my purpose for coming in and I told her confirmation of pregnancy. She responded by sasking if I submitted a sample. I said yes I gave sample. It's all in the system! If she looked carefully at her computer she would have found the information. then she realizes and confirms that i am indeed pregnant. But the worst part was the disgusting utterances that she allowed to flow from her chapped evil lips; " just letting you know it may not pass 6 weeks". I was in total and complete shock! This woman has never met me before in her life or has any idea of my medical history. She literally gleaned that information from her non scientific impression of me that the pregnancy would not be viable. To add insult to injury, she tells me I DO NOT NEED PRENATALS. I have never heard of such BS before in my life. No competent doctor will ever say that to a pregnant woman. I asked her for a referral for a OBGYN since she was utterly useless. she reiterated again that it makes no sense for her to give me a referral since (again) the pregnancy may not pass the 6 weeks. I was livid at this time. She asked if I was nauseous i told her no but she gave me a prescription for nausea. LOL. She was crass and unprofessional in her delivery. she even got up and walked out during the conversation. I had to follow her out of the office to realize she was addressing another patient. She knew without a doubt I was upset after I asked sternly if she was done and she said yes. Then tried to placate me by telling me that she would write a letter to Dr. Ages and have her call me. I would never go back. Please don't waste your time. I've been worried ever since that fateful day. It would not sit well with me if I did not write this review. Save your time and effort.

I scheduled a phone appointment with Dr. Gross at this clinic to get a requisition for bloodwork (I'm 5 weeks pregnant and this is my first pregnancy). Not only was Dr. Gross over two hours late in calling me for a 5-minute appointment (which I would have let slide had the conversation been a little more appropriate), she got on the phone with no apology for being so late, and then proceeded to tell me that there's nothing I can do at this stage because I'm too early into my pregnancy and I QUOTE "a lot of people have failed pregnancies before 6 weeks anyways". She then proceeded to tell me that she would prescribe pre-natal vitamins but I don't have to take them "because having low iron is rare". My message for Dr. Gross. If you have no compassion for people, don't become a doctor. Thanks.

I wrote a review about 9 months ago following an inappropriate encounter with Dr. Gross (you can find it below). At the time, I was 5 weeks pregnant (first pregnancy) and had phoned the clinic with so much joy in my heart for advice from a Doctor. To this day, I can hear Dr. Gross saying to me "there's nothing you can do at this stage, many pregnancies fail before 6 weeks anyway. If you start to bleed, it's just your period". Happy to report that no thanks at all to Dr. Gross, I have a happy, healthy two month old baby boy. Ladies, absolutely do not visit this clinic for pregnancy-related matters. It's scarring.

Dr. Shuke is very attentive and thorough. He takes the time to answer all your questions and do thorough examinations. It’s hard to find such great doctors in Ontario anymore, I am glad I found him.

This clinic will tell all your business to the entire waiting room - NO CONFIDENTIALITY. I see Dr. Gross at this clinic and she is incredible but that is not enough to keep me coming to this clinic. I have been going here for years as the location was just convenient but I've had it with this clinic. The last time I was there I waited over 2 hours despite having an appointment. What REALY set me off was one of the clinic administrators shouted out in front of the ENTIRE waiting room the purpose for my visit... I was there for a PAP test and the entire waiting room was now aware of that. I don't have a single clue why she needed to confirm what I was there for so publicly by shouting across the room. I confronted her and reached out to customer service but I didn't get any follow up so I'm sure I wasted my time. GO ELSEWHERE!

The doctors are fantastic but the reception staff literally never answer the phone. They call me at 4:05pm, I call back immediately, and get "the clinic is now closed". I am trying to schedule a follow up appointment for the third time. If you leave a voicemail they will never return your call. It took over 2.5 months for me to get my test results. They can't discuss over the phone, fine - doctors hours are like 3 hours a day 3 times a week. Cannot accommodate work schedules. Cannot tell me my results. Ok.

Useles clinic! I needed medical service for my son. He had a foot injury. I went to the clinic first time in the morning. There was only one person waiting and they refused to give service because I did not have an appointment, because they did not have a walk in doctor today and asked me to come tomorrow. I thought that a walk in clinic attends walk in patients! I live near the clinic since 15 year ago and had horrible experiences with them in the past, so I tried to never go there again. Only this time, because my son cannot walk easily I made an exception and they did not fail to dissapoint! I have no idea how they stayed in busineas for all these years.

Considering shoppers is nationwide, I find it strange that they won’t accept health cards from other provinces even though the clinics nearby do. Receptionist said it would be $95 just to see the dr. Tried to call ahead to confirm this before walking 30 mins to get there but it’s just an automatic answering machine. Don’t waste your time.

On March 15, 2022...I booked an appointment to see Dr. Peter Bafundi on March 17, 2022, @ 2:00 PM for a Walk-In Phone Consult. I booked an appointment to see/or speak to a family doctor to see if I can get blood work done and I need a family doctor referral to see a dermatologist, concerning my acne scars and blotchy dull skin. But...I never got a chance to speak to the doctor because he declined my appointment on March 17, 2022. After all, I am not his patient before COVID, and he was not accepting new patients at this time, which I do understand. But the secretary or whoever left me a voicemail letting me know I can still call to speak to a doctor, but I couldn't see the doctor in person because of COVID and that the family doctors are only seeing patients who are already on file before COVID. So I am going to look elsewhere, they wasted my time and I hope they don't call me back to speak to the doctor because they are just useless and incompetent.

Dr Shuke is the new family doctor that is taking new patients...seems to be reviving the image of this clinic. Very knowledgable and takes the time...very thorough which you need in a doctor

other than a clean waiting room it was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a clinic. I waited an hour over my BOOKED time slot and reception could have cared less. I WOULD NOT recommend going here if you want good quick appointments

Take "care" out of healthcare, and this is your place. Pre-pandemic, this place was great. Now, they do not answer the phone, do not return messages, and couldn't care less. They are either indifferent or show disdain for patients. They've forgotten any oaths they may have taken. Get treated here, you'll end up at the hospital emergency department, due to neglect from this place - my experience twice in the last two years.

It's my 1st time to visit the clinic. The receptionist was accommodating and he had the patience to listen to my questions & request. Dr. Shuke was nice and attentive. He was very professional & readily attended to my medical issue.👍👌

It is so easy to schedule an appt with the online app for in person or phone consult I’ve had the pleasure of being connected with Dr. Ages and Dr. Bafundi for different health concerns/check ups and I couldn’t be happier with the level of professional and care I received from both. Both doctors took the time to address my concerns and offer me the best treatments. Thank you so much Dr Ages & Dr Bafundi and to health clinic for making the scheduling process a breeze during covid times!

I would give a zero rating. Absolutely no care for patients. The doctors r pathetic so is the staff.

Wait times are insane lol had a booked appointment and waited for an hour and a half. It’s crazy that the entire time I waited every single person that came after me was seen and left. Went for an TB test on a Thursday (for those that don’t know it needs to be read within 48-72 hrs). Online and map hours say they’re open on Saturdays, but called to rebook to get it read and they tell me they’re not open on Saturdays. Why’d they let me do a TB test on a Thursday then? Make it make sense lol

Dr Bafundi has been my doctor for about 10 years so glad I stumbled upon him by accident at the clinic and he asked if I needed a doctor , he is the best smartest most caring doctor I think there is .

I have been coming to this clinic since August. So far, I can only say good things about the staff I have interacted with. All the receptionists are kind, compassionate and knowledgeable, specially Sydell. Dr. Shuke has been an amazing professional; I'm happy that we found a doctor that actually cares about his patients by taking the time to listen and guide.

The clinic is awful. Doctors do not care about your condition. They wouldn’t listen to you, simply saying that you’re overreacting. But whenever you come home after the clinic, your conditions remain the same and you still struggle with it. Absolutely unprofessional and horrible.

Please please for the sake of your time do not visit this office unless you wanna spend all day there and have people being taken in before you just because there the doctors favoured patient very unprofessional the secretary's are very kind but doctor gross is extremely unprofessional and should have her doctor license taken away. Joke of a office I should of listen to all the terrible reviews.

Garbage … should have listened to the reviews… said they open at 9 am its now almost 9:30 and it closes at 1… had to go somewhere else… even the pharmacist inside shoppers was displeased with their service.. do not come here for anything

Very bad service, told the receptionist I had a deep cut would need stitches. Made me wait 2 hours and when doctor saw me told me I needed stitches and they don’t do them there . I told him I waited 2 hours , and I had told the receptionist that I needed stitches ; why he didn’t tell me that before swiping my OHIP card ?. He just said sorry to go to emergency. All they want is to charge to OHIP .

I have no complaint with my doctor my only complaint and concern is with the 2 guys men working on desk or resection. Those two are the most rude unprofessional and 0 customer service you will find. You guys need to do something with this two guys remind them that people who visit the clinic are customers not beggars. The rest of the girl most of them know their job but this two guys suck.

I was prescribed with penicillin and was tested positive for Covid with a rapid test kit after going for a walk-in visit with Dr.Shuke. I had no strength in seeing my own family doctor. Later when I google, all results indicate penicillin does not treat viruses that cause common cold flu nor covid

I have been calling for two days now noone picks up the phone. When walking in they say you need an appointment but when you book your appointment online it gets cancelled or doesn't get confirmed.

Terrible reception, does not have a clue what they are doing. Does not even know tb test reading should be 48-72 hours instead of 24-48 hrs. Told me to never come back because she messed up not booking me for a reading before I did my test

They always cancel our appointment We had an appointment at 5.30pm And they will call you @ exactly 5.30pm To let you know that your appointment is cancelled because the doctor an emergency I would understand if it only happened once But it happened 3 times I hope those who work at the front desk Is doing their part I have 2 kids in the car and we have to endure the traffic just to get there.wasted time and gas and my wife took a day off As well That’s very unprofessional.

Ivan, please have some manners when talking to the client. I understand that no Doctor’s by 2:00 pm. Please say it nicely rather than having a higher pitch than explaining properly. I just asked why you are closed by 2:00 pm. You said its open but actually closed. Can’t get it. 😳

I did not see the doctor as we were getting late, but I would like to mention my experience with the receptionist. There no stern look, lethargy, impatience or exaggerated smile even though it was the end of day. Her wam demenor and helpful attitude made us comfortable to be there. Thank you so much

The receptionists were wonderful. Went in with ear infections and was seen immediately as the doctor arrived. They squeezed my in on a busy Saturday morning. The doctor was attentive and took the time to listen to my issue as well as the history of my issue. The office was very clean, modern and efficient. Recommend.

I was down with fever and cold. I visited the walkin clinic and the staff was really nice I didn't wait for too long. The doctor also attended me well gave me prescription and I am overall happy with the service provided.

My first time seeing a walk in doctor by appointment, the office is clean and the staff is nice. I was very pleased as I was in and out.

Today was the first time I visited this clinic in Whitby Ontario. I thought I would give it a chance. When I walked in the office was very clean. The staff were very friendly and took the time to listen to your situation The doctor that I saw, he took time to listen to the situation that I had, very patient and nice. I love the online booking, I was able to book the time I prefer. I booked as a walk in pt and I was seen at my appointment time, I didn’t have to wait long. The front desk staff was so nice and Dr. Weldman was very professional.
