I tore my achilles tendon and sustained a chronic injury due to misuse and Henry Zhou has been the best physiotherapist for the job. When I heard that he trained Jesus to walk on water I had to book him. He's been working with me diligently to get me back on my two feet (literally). Patience is a virtue and Henry emulates that. Highly recommend Athlete's Care clinics!

Went to get a massage here for the very first time. The employees at the front desk, Angelie and Nicole welcomed me right when I entered, they knew what they were doing and was really helpful. I had a lot of questions about the form and they answered everything that I was confused about, on top of that they even continued to talk to me until it was my time for a massage. I am normally quite shy and have a hard time talking to people, but they were really easy to talk to. During the massage Marcel, my registered massage therapist, was very nice and kind, he made sure that I was confortable during my massage and asked me to let him know if the pressure he used was too much. There was a lot of questions I wanted to ask Marcel but the massage felt really good that I was unable to talk at all, even when he asked me questions, I was unable to give the entire answer that I wanted to say because the massage was really relaxing and calming. The entire experience was very satisfying and stress free, starting from when I first arrived to when I left the place. I would highly recommend booking an appointment here for a massage if you ever need one.

I went to Victoria DiSabatino over the course of several weeks for an issue with neck mobility and upper back pain. She was knowledgeable, caring, and overall just really great at what she does. I would highly recommend her and Athlete’s Care in general, especially the team at 11 King St W. I saw Michelle for massage therapy and Zach for chiropractic work, they were both wonderful and very helpful. The physiotherapists, massage therapists, and chiropractors here will all share notes on your case, making you feel like you really have a team supporting you. Thank you all for your support, you make a great difference in the quality of life for your patients and I am so glad to have worked with you all.

I’ve been seeing Henry for physio for over two years and he’s the best I’ve had. He works with people on both therapy and exercises. He is amazing and I would recommend anyone to see him for any injury or general physio/body awareness stuff.

I have been getting treatment for my shoulder injury from the best physiotherapist that you can imagine. Endri has extensive knowledge of the human body, and his approach is using the most effective techniques for your status. I feel that I am getting better and better after every single session. Besides his professionalism, he is one of the most friendly person that I have ever met. I highly recommend both the Doctors and Physiotherapist of Athlete's Care.

I completed a physiotherapy program here after having partial tears in my ankle. As someone that has seen close to a dozen different physiotherapist for various other injuries while playing sports, Endri is by far the best physiotherapist I have come across. He is highly knowledgable and his physio program helped me get back to walking within a few weeks. His exercises are perfect and every appointment he took the time to explain complicated medical concepts in a manner that was easy for a non-medical person to understand. He genuinely cares for his patients and HIGHLY recommend him.

Very good experience with Endri so far. I am so happy I stumbled upon their services. Within 2 weeks I feel better and have better gait. My lower back was tense from sitting with bad posture for a year or so. I will continue to use their services.

Endri is a great physio, providing helpful treatment as well as explaining the problems and the best solutions. I originally went to Athlete's Care because of an achilles injury and have since recovered, and received treatment for knee and hamstring issues which have helped tremendously, and allowed me to stay healthy and continue training with my track and field team. The receptionists at the front are also lovely and always helpful.

Endri is an unbelievably awesome physiotherapist and person. What I love about Endri is his palpable passion for his work and his innate curiosity. It’s clear he enjoys the puzzles that the body presents and putting together the pieces, driven to learn and never leaving anything amiss during treatment. His clarity, presence, confidence and supreme care he shows in every moment make going to our sessions such a wonderful experience and something I actually really look forward to! Also the work he did on my legs and the exercises he gave me allowed me to continuously train for my marathon as planned and crush it with no injuries! THANKS ENDRI

When I was in search of a physiotherapist, my good friend recommended Gita Lakra so I made an appointment. Gita is absolutely brilliant! She has never failed to identify where my injuries are and treat them accordingly. Gita will give you exercises to do at home to support her therapy. She asks all the right questions and is super efficient. A great conversationalist, friendly, easy-going and professional. She is the complete package, I would highly recommend making an appointment even for minor injuries. Athlete's Care is a great clinic, go see Gita!

I was experiencing lower back pains after getting an IUD, and my family doctor recommended that I try physiotherapy. Even though I was a little skeptical that it would help, especially considering the cause of the pain, I did a quick search and came across Athletes Care. I worked with Endri, and over a period of about 5 weeks, he was able to help me treat my pain. I also appreciated how he took the time to explain what he was doing during treatments, and he also gave me several exercises to do at home. Pleased to say that my back pain has almost completely gone! I also found everyone at the front desk very friendly and I would not hesitate to return to this location again if I needed to.

Aneeshka was amazing! I worked with her over the past year, both pre- and post-surgery for a completely torn ACL and meniscus while playing recreational soccer. This was my first major injury / surgery so a lot of unknowns for me going into this, but she was able to reassure me through her educational knowledge, dedication, and exercise planning that I would be able to play sports confidently again. She certainly took a lot of time and effort into planning our sessions, while providing me with challenging exercises that would meet my desired recovery timeline. I would highly recommend her for any and all sport-related injuries.

Came in recovering from a broken fibula (ORIF) with a goal to return to competitive rugby in a short timeline. Endrit was there to help me achieve my goals - through soft tissue manipulation, acupuncture and electro-acupuncture he was able to treat my problems at the source helping me to return to my full mobility and strength very quickly. He would constantly explain the treatment plan/injury and was always open to answering any questions. Endrit is a professional, caring and knowledgable individual who made the recovery process simple and manageable. Highly recommend.

Came in with wrist issues and got treated by Endri. The treatment was a great mix of modern + effective methods and Endri is a great conversationist during sessions and therapist. Makes sure to get all relevant information from you throughout the treatment while educating you along the way. Over the course of a few weeks my wrist (that I couldn’t move a mouse with without hurting) was fully recovered.

I've been going to Athlete's Care for about a month to resolve an issue with my back. Endrit assessed the problem and within a few weeks I was able to get back to work and resume normal activities. They really take good care of you here and are extremely knowledgeable about what they're doing. Also the reception and online booking are top notch! I highly recommend Athlete's Care.

I've gone to Athlete's Care King & Yonge locations for a couple of years whenever I need either massage therapy sessions with Craig and Matt B. or physiotherapy with Endri and Matt. I'm very happy with the professional and skilled services I've received from all members of the team. Specially the positive results! It's easy to book sessions online, the staff at reception are friendly and helpful any time I've had to make changes. A special shout out to Endri and Matt for the therapy I'm receiving to help me through my shoulder, arm and foot injuries. I saw results from the first session onwards. Happy to recommend Athlete's Care to others.

Endri has been fantastic with his physio work - he was very personable, professional and patient with identifying the appropriate treatment plan in getting me to a full recovery. Definitely one of my most positive experiences from being an Athlete's Care patient.

I started seeing Endri & Matt after suffering for months with unrelenting knee pain, inflammation, and a torn minuscule. Honestly, I couldn't imagine a pain-free life. Their treatment methods, bedside manner, and sharing of practical knowledge with easy-to-incorporate exercises have been game changers in my recovery and transitioning to be pain-free in less than a month. They took the time to educate and show me (through simulation) what was happening beneath my leg's surface, and we worked together to create a sustainable treatment plan. We discussed and practiced different exercise options at the end of most sessions, and they made sure I ended up with only those that I could endure/enjoy. This changed my mobility and quality of life; since I could maintain my weekly exercise regime. Aside from their professional excellence, their humanity, empathy, and wholesome discussion offered in our sessions gave me the much-needed hope to embrace my treatment and be encouraged through the challenging moments of my recovery. I cannot sing their praises enough and am happy to recommend them to anyone as stellar physiotherapists who care about the whole life cycle of your treatment and mobility beyond their sessions. Thank you so much, Endri & Matt.

I got Endri's referral two years ago, from a colleague of mine that was raving about him. Endri is an incredible physiotherapist - and has helped me with overcome my back issues over the years. My lower back was initially problematic, but with combined treatments - including acupuncture, stretching and targeted exercises, I saw a massive improvement. More recently, I've been carrying all of my stress in my neck and shoulders. And in just three visits to Endri, I've been able to reduce the pain and feel better. I especially love the acupuncture for quick relief, but appreciate the exercises, and explanations I receive while treating the problem areas and root cause. If you have any chronic pain, sports or workplace injuries, and are in search for a good physiotherapist, I HIGHLY recommend Endri.

If I can give this place, and specifically Endri, 20/10 I will do that. Hands-down Endri is one of the best in the field - very professional, knowledgeable and very carrying to his clients (something that you can’t easily find nowadays). I went there with extreme pain and inability to move normally - the pain had me very nervous and cautious to do anything. A few sessions with Endri had me start lifting heavy with zero pain! He clearly understood what was wrong, came up with a plan and was very carefully to make my recovery as painless as possible.

I was suffering from pain that prevented me from performing my normal weight-lifting routine, so I started seeing Endri for physiotherapy. Endri is very thoughtful in the way that he approaches treatment. He doesn’t use a “one size fits all” approach, but instead he will consider different treatment options as appropriate for the injury, including as the injury changes. I appreciated this about him, as well as his positivity and encouragement. I was beginning to feel demoralized by my injury, and he kept me moving forward. In addition to being a great PT, he’s also a good guy. I’m glad that he was around to work with me!

Endri Ulaj has treated me these last six months for a serious injury to my right leg. Endri is that one percent type who loves his profession, stays on the cutting edge of treatment, and goes after solutions for his clients. His skilled use of acupuncture, deep tissue massage, electronic stimulation of nerves and muscles, and the knowledge to make these elements effective have made the difference. My leg has come along well. I will heal fully. This is what Endri has done for me. I should add that Endri has been more than an expert practitioner. His respectful and friendly manner kept me upbeat when I feared the injury would in the end cost me my mobility. He kept me working to heal. I am grateful.

Endri is hands-down one of the best health professionals that has treated me. I came to Athlete's care with a meniscus tear. Endri explained the Dr's diagnosis, put together a comprehensive treatment plan, and gave me exercises for home. He is clear, concise, caring, and very knowledgeable. Most important, he is focused on you and your health goals. And the staff at the front are fantastic. I feel fully supported and taken care of by Endri and Athlete's Care. 5+ stars all around.

I had the misfortune of being referred to Dr. Ho. It was a terrible experience. He does not see patients in person and forces you to install and use an awful app. Avoid at all cost. They also wanted to charge me for having my records transferred to a proper doctor. The one star is for the receptionist.

Simply amazing! I've had a shoulder injury for several years and have seen multiple physiotherapists but with little improvement. Aneeshka (my tended physiotherapist) was nothing short of remarkable, brilliant and supportive. Aneeshka was able to help me within a few months in ways others were unable to in years and without any reservations whatsoever I would recommend her to anyone. The staff is also warm, respectful, professional and provides excellent service. This is definitely five stars!!! Thanks again Aneeshka and thank you Athlete's Care Sports Med (King & Yonge)

My shoulder is healing nicely as expected, my physio therapist LokMan Wong is someone who’s caring, gentle, considering his patient. He always look beyond for my overall health not just my injured spot. He may apply East and West therapy when it’s needed.

This is my second set of physiotherapy sessions at Athlete’s Care. This time I have plantar fasciitis and my therapist is Aneeshka Vyas. She has been wonderful, encouraging, helpful and clear on all my home stretches. Her exercises and stretches are broader than just the heel and as a result, I am feeling so much better sooner. She is great at diagnosing the problem and making decisive plans for a step by step path to improvement. I feel very fortunate that Aneeshka is my physiotherapist.

I called beginning of October to move my knee injection scheduled for mid October for Nov 7 as that is the only weekend where I dont’t have a weekend hike (I’ve been preparing for several months for a hiking trip in January). Lo and behold, I show up and reception noted that they noted in their files that someone chatted with me in October but that my appointment should be moved to September vs Nov 6 (in which world does that make sense). And the office cannot try to fit me in this week when it’s their mistake and it’s usually a 15 minutes appointment max. I’ve been at this location for several years since before 2019. The customer service leaves much to be desired. Even during the pandemic and post pandemic, when working from home, I’ve travelled from home to downtown and back (at least an hour each way) to get services at the King location, but this experience is making me question accessing services at any Athlete care and this location.

I have been very happy with the quality of care at Athlete’s Care King and Yonge. Victoria DiSabatino is an excellent physiotherapist and I recommend an appointment with her. I am in my late 30s and I had experienced an acute exacerbation of a chronic back pain that hadn’t become manageable despite past treatments in the past 2-3 years. I did physiotherapy with Victoria from Feb to May 2023 and have now transitioned to checking in when needed. While past treatments before visiting Victoria at Athlete’s Care had each helped me improve, two things helped this time to make recovery more sustainable: physiotherapy exercises under supervision to ensure they are done correctly and advanced in intensity appropriately, and meds to reduce pain and inflammation recommended by my family physician. I strongly recommend both, and others as needed like managing sleep or stress. I liked how Victoria’s approach is responsive to one’s needs and specific condition. She’s also very good in showing and describing what imbalances there are in the body and what can help. We started with a hands-on approach with manual therapy, medical acupuncture, and exercises under supervision. Even though I could not sit or bend easily, we started gently and advanced to training with resistance bands, weights, and balance exercises. I was functional in 6 weeks, and we could reduce pain meds to 1-2 times a week. Over the course of 2 more months, we managed to reduce the frequency of visits to once a month and develop a long-term plan for needed exercises and what to do if pain recurred. Unlike the past 2-3 years, in the past two months I have been able to manage to prevent or exit a pain state without the need to refer to a clinic. Access to the clinic is easy with indoor access to King subway station through escalators. Elevators are not working due to construction at the station (at least in May 2023), but there is ramp access from in front of the building (outdoor access). The clinic has a small gym space with equipment to do exercises. The admin staff are friendly and very helpful. Direct billing with (only) one insurance provider can be arranged by the staff.

Highly recommend! Been seeing Victoria for a few months. after a few sprains and a fracture, I decided to do physiotherapy. Victoria has been treating me, and I couldn’t be happier. She’s absolutely awesome, cares and I’ve made so much progress that I could have never done without physio. On a side note, the staff and doctors there are really nice and accommodating. Always a pleasure to go

Athlete's Care Sports Medicine Centres is the right place to be for all your sports medicine needs. I was referred to Dr. Howard Chen way back in 2013, and I haven't looked back. His depth of experience is evident in the efficacy of the treatments he prescribes. Dr. Chen has helped me resolve numerous issues, from acute and short lived issues, to chronic and persistent injuries. During these past six years, while I've been dealing with a complex series of lower body injuries, Dr. Chen's care, compassion and understanding has meant the world to me. It's been frustrating, sure -- but we didn't give up, and I am doing so much better now! I've also had the good fortune of being treated by Dr. Marcus Jansen (chronic shoulder injury) and Dr. Beverley Chow (chronic pelvic dysfunction) -- their expertise have helped me manage chronic conditions, and bounce back. Time may be unforgiving, but life doesn't have to be. Getting back to the best version of ourselves is possible, with the right help. Athlete's Care is all that and more!

Great professionals here and the clinic has an online systems that allow you to book your appointments online. Michelle is an amazing massage therapist that doesn’t keep chatting during the whole session and she can identify where your pains come from and give you stretching instructions. Jim is a great chiro as he’s been able to fix some of the pains I’ve felt for so long.

The Physiotherapist Endri is great 4/5 but the change room is small and dirty. Hasn't been cleaned in months! 3 of the 4 lockers are broken. I had been dealing with tennis elbow for about a year and a half. I had tried physio but it did not seem to work. In June 2021 I started PRP treatments. I did three in total, one month apart. The first treatment was very painful but each month the pain was easier to deal with. Phenominal results! I can now squeeze a shampoo bottle, pull up my socks, open a can. AND I am back to lifting small weights. Thank you Dr. Presvelos for choosing the right treatment and helping me overcome my pain!

Victoria D. has been a pleasure to work with. She made a real effort to understand how my body was feeling/moving at every appointment and was quick to adjust the treatment/exercises accordingly. She also maintained and kept focus on my longer term goals and overall health/strength. I came to her with various issues and even had new/unrelated issues pop up while seeing her. She managed all of them smoothly. On top of that, she was very easy-going and friendly, with many conversations resulting in some pretty good chuckles. Great job, Victoria! The ladies at the front desk were also all excellent and very friendly. Smooth interactions every time!

Victoria has provided exceptional treatment over the last year. I am 57 years old and have an abundance of injuries / chronic conditions that date back more than 30 years to hockey, etc. I have worked with many physiotherapists in the past and made great strides but I thought I had come to the point where no further improvement was possible. However, over the past year, Victoria has significantly improved my shoulder mobility (allowing me to swim again), neck mobility and triceps strength from a pinched nerve. I am impressed with Victoria's knowledge, method of treatment and holistic approach. Her sessions are very efficient and thus, she is willing to work on more than one nagging issue during a specific session. Our conversations are always interesting and enjoyable which is great as some of the deep tissue digging on someone as tight as me is not all that enjoyable. :) I highly recommend Victoria.

Victoria D is awesome. A skiing accident with an inexperienced skier left me with a tibia broken in two places, a broken ankle, a broken scapula and three broken ribs. Victoria has been instrumental in my recovery. In addition to a very progressive multi-modal regimen, Victoria has an uncanny sixth sense when it comes to PT - a great awareness of my progress, ability, signs of discomfort and whether I'm "cheating". I'm back on the slopes because of her. The office is probably the most efficient healthcare office I've ever been to. Great use of technology to get you to your treatment and on your way.

The Yonge and King clinic is conveniently located. Victoria DiSabatino provided excellent treatment for my sciatica. She patiently listens to my concerns and understands my issues and renders acupuncture treatments and effective exercises. The acupuncture relieves my pain and speeds up my recovery. The exercises, which I fervently performed, strengthened my muscles and resolved my conditions to a great extent. I am now on my way to full recovery. Victoria is a true professional and I strongly recommend her for your pain management needs.

Tore both my meniscus and was referred by a friend to see Dr. Presvelos. His knowledge base, duty of care, and bedside manner are unparalleled. He takes the time with you, answers your questions and gives you solutions. Thanks for giving me my mobility back doc! After care with Athletes Care Physiotherapy was also excellent. Unlike other physiotherapists, they want to get you mobile and independent, not keep you there indefinitely so they can cash in on your benefits. I’ve already recommended this clinic to all of my friends and family! Bless. Michael J. Konar

I’m a performer who came to Toronto for work and a 7 year old neck injury that I had ignored for years. I found Athletes Care when I couldnt stand the pain anymore and ended up booking a next day appointment with Endri Ulaj. Over the next 7 weeks he fixed my issue and educated me on how to manage pain on my own if the symptoms were to pop up again. 10/10 experience and therapist.

After tearing my hamstring, I was unsure if if I would ever be able to run again. I am very grateful to have been connected with Nathania Chan at Athlete's Care. As my Physiotherapist, Nathania set the bar for the gold standard of professionalism. With her careful guidance, both my leg strength and range of motion have returned to normal. I am now fully confident in returning to my regular activities. Fantastic experience. Highly recommend for any physiotherapy needs.

You never have to wait hours on hold - they promptly answer all your calls. Every time I come here I am greeted with a smile. Not only this but every doctor and pat...

We're in Canada 2024. I now have have to commute 30 minutes back because some dude wanted to end work early. Than...
