IF
CONSIDERING
THIS
CLINIC
(and
it’s
only
doctor
)
for
your
pet
‘s
needs.
I
moved
to
East
York
a
yr
ago
&
found
this
place
out
of
simple
convenience
as
it’s
5
mins
from
my
home.
Learned
a
lesson
re;
the
importance
of
reading
&
writing
reviews
as
well
as
listening
to
your
gut/
intuition.
I
d
taken
my
sml
dog
here
a
handful
of
times
for
vaccinations
&
to
purchase
flea/tick
tx.
From
the
beginning
I
sensed
the
doctor
didn’t
see
very
comfortable
around
my
dog,
but
what
really
prompted
this
review
was
the
5-6
mins
of
time
I
recv’d
as
part
of
the
Dr
s
exam
so
my
dog
could
get
vaccinated.
My
dog
had
been
seen
months
earlier
for
vaccinations
&
this
was
his
next
round
of
vaccines,
yet
you
still
have
to
pay
$90
for
a
physical
exam,
despite
there
being
no
changes
in
his
health,
as
the
dr
won’t
just
give
the
vaccines.
(
not
even
a
modified
or
follow
up
exam
w
reduced
fees
….
What
a
cash
grab!
But
fair
enough
you
have
to
pay
for
a
full
exam
fee,
so
be
it
!
So
what
did
I
get
for
the
$90.
Well
his
vet
assistant
took
my
dog
s
weight,
the
Dr
came
in
looked
at
his
gums
for
all
of
30
seconds
followed
by
feeling
his
kidneys/
underbody
for
a
minute
or
so.
I
was
asked
one
question
about
whether
he
had
been
eating
&
drinking
ok
and
that
was
it!
He
couldnt
wait
to
get
out
of
the
room
fast
enough.
Overall,
this
was
the
second
or
3rd
exam
fee
I
d
paid
and
each
time
he
was
so
quick
and
even
somewhat
dismissive
that
you
feel
u
have
no
real
time
to
ask
questions,
and
god
forbid
you
have
a
question
after
the
appt.
In
any
case,
the
LAST
STRAW
for
me
was
that
just
as
the
Dr
was
leaving
the
exam
rm
I
asked
if
he
could
check
my
dog
s
back
paw
because
I
wondered
if
my
dog
had
cut
it.
Once
more
I
was
asked
to
hold
my
dog
as
he
never
seems
to
have
a
vet
assistant
to
help.
Indeed
the
Dr
said
my
dog
had
a
really
sml
yet
deep
cut
and
said
he
had
some
cream
I
could
put
on
him
that
would
help,
&
that
I
should
wrap
the
paw
to
keep
it
clean.
I
explained
that
it
was
highly
unlikely
my
dog
would
let
me
touch
his
paw
let
alone
put
cream
on
it
and
then
keep
a
rap
on,
w
a
collar
or
not.
Nothing
more
was
said
and
he
left
the
rm.
As
I
went
to
pay
the
bill
I
was
shocked
that
my
bill
was
$60+
than
I
expected.
Stupid
me,
I
thought
the
Dr
was
going
to
give
me
a
bit
of
cream
to
take
with
me,
no
cost.
But
ok
that
was
my
mistake
but
you
think
the
doctor
might
have
mentioned
that
this
sml
tube
of
cream
no
bigger
then
a
tube
of
polysporin
was
so
expensive.
A
few
days
later
I
came
back
with
this
cream
requesting
my
money
back
as
it
had
not
been
opened
and
was
still
in
the
same
sml
box
it
came
in….
Undisturbed.
I
explained
how
I
had
tried
to
handle
my
dogs
alternative
paw
(
the
uninjured
one
)
and
used
a
bit
of
peanut
butter
to
try
and
see
if
my
dog
would
be
compliant,
knowing
he
probably
wouldn
t
be,
and
I
was
right.
Despite
this
being
an
over
the
counter
type
cream
(
called
Isaderm
)
that
was
not
specially
made
for
my
dog,
the
dr
came
out
and
said
he
could
not
return
my
money
first
saying
it
was
due
to
it
being
a
prescribed
medication
(
and
yes,
they
did
put
a
label
on
the
box
only
)
yet
when
I
questioned
this
unfair
practice
the
Dr
then
said
it
was
because
the
box
was
ripped
(
which
it
was
100%
NOT!
).
At
the
end
of
the
day,
that
few
minutes
of
consideration
on
his
part
has
lost
my
trust,
respect
and
most
importantly
my
business.
Given
this
tough
financial
climate
that
we
all
find
ourselves
in,
every
penny
has
to
be
spent
with
much
thought
and
consideration.
I
am
a
single
parent
and
do
not
have
discretionary
funds
,
yet
ensure
my
dog
has
all
his
vaccinations
and
basic
care.
As
the
owner
of
the
clinic
the
Dr
could
have
chosen
to
do
the
right
thing
knowing
i
could
not
use
the
cream
but
chose
not
to.
I
wouldn’t
be
surprised
if
that
crew
probably
cost
him
$12
yet
marks
it
up
at
a
90%
profit.
Shame
on
you.
I
would
greatly
suggest
that
anyone
thinking
of
bringing
their
fur
babies
here,
reconsider
cause
this
kind
of
behaviour
is
very
telling,
at
best
take
a
few
mins
and
read
several
reviews.
