Khau Gully is one of the finest restaurants with Indian Cuisine. Loved the food and tase is really very mesmerizing. It reminded me of the food taste from back home.Loved the food and the servers were also very nice. We tried the vegetarian appetizer platter & fried okras which were really tasty. We also loved the Kofta Sham Savere and Lasuni Dhaniya Paneer in the main course. Both of these sabjis were up to the mark.A gem of a eatery hidden in Eglinton and Yonge!! Food is delicious, just perfect. They accommodate customers wish as per their choice. We went for our friends Birthday and they gave us the best service as well as served awesome food!! Thank you Khau Gully as we had a memorable and tasty experience. Highly Recommended!!!

A great place to have lip smackingly delicious Indian vegan food! They have a whole menu dedicated to vegan dishes. From their naans, Parathas they have tofu replacing paneer and have created a whole lot of flavourful, well cooked dishes. The broccoli baby corn tandoori starter is so delicious. The tofu tikka masala is even better than the paneer tikka masala. And the sizzling vegan chicken was spectacular. The coriander palak tofu veg along with dal makhani, everything was finger lickingly good. We have been a few times and every time the food has been consistently great. A gem of a place serving awesome vegan food!! A must for all.

We ordered delivery from KHAU GULLY and the food was very good. We had some issues ordering online from the website so, we called them and they were willing to accommodate our order via Uber Eats instead.

Loved the ambience and the food. It was a quick dinner and their service was fast too probably because we went around closing time. The staff was great. Parking can be a challenge but you could park near LCBO or Imperial St nearby.

The vibes are so cool there…the music, slogans, paintings and of-course food everything is just great. Bhindi Rajasthani deserves a special shout-out.

Been a while that I’ve had this good north Indian vegan food. So easily made vegan but somehow restaurants don’t want to put the effort. The food is flavourful and not oily. There is a full vegan menu with several items. The biryani is to die for. Waiting for them to open one in Montreal :)

A Culinary Paradise for Indian Cuisine Enthusiasts Khau Gully is a culinary gem that showcases the true essence of Indian street food combined with a contemporary twist. From the moment I arrived, I was embraced by a vibrant atmosphere and a welcoming ambiance. The menu is an absolute delight, offering a diverse array of dishes that beautifully capture the authentic flavors of India. Every bite was a celebration of rich spices and exquisite tastes, highlighting the chefs' dedication to preserving tradition while infusing modern creativity. Me and my work colleagues went for lunch and had combo meals. Butter chicken combo and chicken tikka combo were the favourites for the lunch. Quantity was good and taste was pretty authentic. Time to get our order was under 25 mins and hosts were friendly too. Open kitchen and restaurant concept is nice and open. Will definitely be returning back for sure. Feedback would be naans were not buttered, generally garlic naan are buttered and also naan portion was not full Naan but rest everything was good and some chutneys/ pickles served on the side would make it more authentic to the roots.

Worth a try. Had a great customer service. The staff is friendly and take genuine interest to know your preferences and make recommendations accordingly. They also regularly check on you to make sure if you need anything. Menu has interesting items that we don’t see at other Indian restaurants. The gulab jamun cheesecake is not really a cheesecake but rather tastes like malai with gulab jamun with graham cracker base. Not sure why the kofta curry portion was too small compared to the portion sizes of chicken biryani and dawaat murgh. Overall worth a try. I will come back for more and bring some friends too! Update: went again and brought some friends too as promised. We had veg samosas, which were decent. Lasooni Dhaniya paneer and Awadhi Subji. Both were finger licking good. But their portion size still remains meagre.

Great Indian restaurant. Food is quite good and can be adjusted to your spice tolerance. The servers are very nice and informative. Walked us through the entire menu and had good recommendations. We ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms, Lamb Chops Burra, Lamb Rogan Josh, Dal Makhni, Chicken Dum Biryani, and Pudina Paranthas. Lamb chops Burra, Dal Makhni, and Chicken Biryani were really good. Lamb Rogan Josh was their own version and was decent. Worth a visit if you like Indian food.

I will first give a special shout-out to Anuradha, the owner of the restaurant, who was herself on call and went out of her way to take such good care of us. Everything she recommended was top notch. We ended up overeating because everything was sooo good! We ordered the crispy bhindi, chicken sizzler, lamb chops and lamb biryani. Biryani could have been a tad bit better but everything else was amazing. The ananas cocktail (made for me with mango juice instead) was great but can maybe served in a glass that is easier to drink from (not as tall!). If they had some more wait staff the service might have been more attentive and fast, but the fact that they were so busy on a Tuesday evening speaks volumes about the quality of food. I will be returning again for sure 😊😋.

I found this Indian restaurant when visiting Eglinton area and loved it! The Dum Briyani with mutton is delicious with big chunks of mutton, and most importantly not oily. It tastes really good with the refreshing yogurt too. Also ordered the Kerala Fish Curry (2 fish steaks, mildly spicy, strong coconut fragrance) and butter garlic naan. Perfect combo, we enjoyed every single bite. Can’t wait to come back for more!

I have eaten here a number of times but never dined in. Dining is definitely better , especially if you are trying their dum Biryanis. They come hot from the oven covered with a whole wheat flour layer which they peel off on the table to engage your visual and olfactory senses. The spice flavors are strong, but not overpowering. The amazing part about the biryani is that there is hardly any trace of oil. The portion size is also good. Do end your meal with the Rasmalai.. it’s soft, creamy, and not too sweet.

They had special Diwali menu .Our family Diwali dinner turned out to be a DISASTER… ordered chicken pulao and it had stale chicken pieces .. ordered tawa roti for each, but ended up with store bought frozen roti .. chicken pulao had hardened stale chicken in it….vegetarian pulao was subpar…. Do yourself a favour have a frozen meal from Walmart or food from any other restaurant than this one.

I’ve been going to Khau Gully since it opened - the food is always fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The Dal is my favourite but love the other vegan mains too. This food is cooked with love and and always leaves your belly feeling satisfied.

I wish there were more than 5 stars. It was our first time visiting Khau Gully and everything was amazing. Everyone at the restaurant was very humble, their service is quick and the food is a delicacy. We ordered their Tomato Soup and as someone who craves for that proper Indian taste of soup, I was more than happy to find that in Canada. We ordered Tender Coconut Chicken which was delicious. The taste of coconut curry blended with spinach and with chicken pieces was so flavorsome. I would love to go again and try their other dishes.

The memory of a good meal is one that stays with you. The same could be said for a bad one. I hope one day I forget the disgust I put in my mouth. Coming from the restaurant industry it baffles me how this place is a 4 1/2 rated star restaurant let alone how they are in business. The raita was completely watered down, the dal had more red colour powder then flavor and the other dishes used the same base tomato sauce with minor differences. You’d be better off getting Indian food from a can in Walmart then here. Save your money and your pallet and go somewhere else. It’s amazing to see how some people react when criticism is thrown there way. You learn a lot about someone who’s automatic reaction is to get defensive and not to reflect on the FACTS. In this case the FACTS were a CUSTOMER had a BAD enough experience with your food that they went out of there way to write a review and the restaurant’s reaction was to suggest “this review is illegitimate and fake. We never had an order of the details described with these dishes in the past few weeks.” P.S. Proof of receipt and comments by restaurant claiming this was a illegitimate and fake review attached. Learn from your mistakes instead of making the same ones over and over again.

Awesome service and food! Their Biryani is a must try! So delicious, tender, and huge portions! You can probably order one and share between two people as it was plentiful. Their deep fried okra was a nice snack as well. I'll def return to try other things on the menu!

Food was so delicious!!! My dad and I had a wonderful dinner together here. Would definitely recommend the butter chicken (not spicy) and the naan was so delicious. Also loved the cottage cheese with pineapple! Servers were very busy (the restaurant was almost full) so we waited a bit for food but the service was so friendly and we were not in a rush anyway! Can’t wait to come back!!

Went in with a lot of expectations, as my friend was raving about it. The waiter who first started attending us brought us a drink (which we never asked for) and as we rightfully denied having ordered, I guess he got offended or something that our waiter was switched. First came in Rajasthani Bhindi (the reason why I gave two stars) it was amazing!!! After that it all went downhill. Kabab Platter was awful! One of the paneer kebabs were not even cooked, just served covered with sauce uncooked! Laban’s weren’t even good. Kofta was way too tangy it felt like we were eating tomatoes. The Spinach Mix Veg was another (waiter recommended) disappointment. To redeem it all we ordered chai (cause chai makes everything better) but they added way too much tea leaves in it that it wasn’t even bearable to drink. Very very disappointed.

The food here is mindblowingly good. The lamb was succulent and mouthwatering. The butter chicken outshines all other Indian restaurants in Toronto. 100/10! If you haven’t tried this spot, you are missing out and that needs to change.

    1) Food Overall 4/5 Dishes tried 1) Lasooni Dhania Paneer-MUST TRY 5/5 2) Bhindi Rajasthani- generous portion 4/5 3) Garlic Naan- The best I ever had 5/5 4) Mango Lassi- average 3/5 5) Tamato Basil Soup- Just Delicious 4/5 Service Service was kind of below average for us. It wasn't super busy and its not that big deal but we had to remind them things. Like, they forgot to offer drinks the first time. Then again we had to remind them to change plates. Overall: It was a good experience. Great food and worth the price!! I would definitely visit again for the food.

Got samosa takeouts from here, the taste was really really good. The crust was not too thick and just rightly done and fried, the stuffing was enough and delicious and all the samosas were consistent which really says a great deal about the place and the samosas. I am a samosa lover and I always look for and try samosas all over the city, this one has topped my list. Thanks a lot!!

We have been to Khau Gully multiple times and it never fails to disappoint! Finding good Indian food in Toronto is always a hit or miss. Often, indian food is greasy, overly salted, ladened with cream and lacking any originality. Khau Gully on the other hand continues to reign for its deep flavours and unique bites. This time we had the mushroom koliwada - deep fried mushrooms coated in a spicy, crunchy batter. Though there was a lot of flavour to these nuggets - they have yet to master the art of frying mushrooms without logging them with oil because of the high moisture content of mushrooms. For mains we had the kashmiri rogan josh, lasooni dhaniya paneer, and dum biryani, chicken. The rogan josh was delicious and full of flavour. The meat was tender and juicy. The paneer was soft and melted into the spinach gravy that actually tasted like spinach! We have had the dum biryani many times and it is always delicious - deep in flavour, perfectly cooked rice and with tender pieces of meat. Khau Gully reigns in flavours but SEVERELY lacks in service. Their service is often slow and repetitive with multiple wait staff asking you similar qs over and over again.

Really good food! Their papad masala and tikka chicken was amazing. Really good service, only thing would be if they had some good music in the background that would have been amazing. But overall it’s a pretty good place, not upscale and not too casual, kind of in between so it’s nice and cozy.

This is my favourite Indian restaurant in Toronto. The staff are friendly, food is delicious, and the menu is robust so you’ll never be bored as there are always news things to try! I’ve done both dine in and take out- both are great. What I’ve tried that I’ve loved: - Bhindi Rajsthani - deep fried okra side dish- I’ve never had anything like it. This dish was recommended by the owner and was so crispy and delicious. - Stuffed spinach paneer - so unique and flavourful - Briyani - very unique in its presentation with a piece of pita on top of it - Lasooni Dhaniya

The Ambiance is welcoming and charming. A great place to dine in. Staffs were polite as we went to eat there nearly closing time but still they made sure that everything is fine. Now coming to the food. Both sabjis ( Paneer butter masala, lasooni dhaniya paneer) and naan were finger licking delicious and flavourful. Quantity of sabji was enough for 1 or 2 person. Their Naan is really good compared to other restaurants. It was fresh and soft. If you are looking for a great Indian food in Toronto, Try Khau gully.

We tried their Chicken kabab, Kofta shyam savera with Garlic naan, and Chicken Biryani. Taste of these items are not too good and not that bad either. Food presentation and restaurant decoration is pretty. Cute miniature pieces throughout the place is a good touch. Parking is street side. PS: We felt their garlic naan will be best enjoyed with butter to make it more soft than crispy. If you prefer the same then make sure to order as garlic butter naan when placing the order.

The only Indian restaurant in Toronto you should go to They not only get what vegan means, but also have a specific menu catering to the animal lovers. We tried the Tofu and Aloo appetizers, which were fab. And then came the awesome Biryani. My first authentic vegan Biryani at a restaurant. Each dish had a unique flavor and fresh. They make their food from scratch once you order, so food is piping hot and super fresh. For those that don't mind dairy and meats, they have a whole selection of those as well.

Went for dine in out here, it was busy but got the table quickly. They have some patio seating as well! Food was good but in terms of the portion size a bit pricey. Tried a cocktail with masala papad and chicken sizzler. Main course had lasooni paneer which tasted similar to spinach gravy but was good with naan, chicken biryani and ras malai. Good for a one time visit based on portion size. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Tried the garlic naan, do pyaza bhindi and the basil paneer tikka. The food portions and taste was pretty bang on. The bhindi in particular was very tasty and was a welcome change than going for the stereotypical paneer options. The paneer tikka was soft but could be better marinated. One thing which would have made me feel more comfortable is the servers wore a mask when they came to talk/take order or serve. They were too close while talking and given the covid situation it made me feel really uncomfortable.

This family owned business is one of the only restaurants in GTA that does justice to Indian food, customer service and quality experience. The owner, Abhishek was very kind and friendly and explained every dish in detail. The food is well- balanced, you can taste each ingredient. I will definitely be returning. Some of the must try items on the menu are: Kurkuri Bhindi, chicken sizzler, stuffed mushroom and gulabi jamun cheesecake!

I have been there last week for chicken dum biryani (which was really good) but my impulse decision of getting chicken kabab turned out to be awesome. The kababs were very fresh and yummy .. right amount of spices, quantity and size. I have praised about kababs to the lady who served me ..the taste of it is still on my tongue.. this is among the best kabab I have ever tried here in Toronto after Bukhara Grill ..at last I like their chicken biryani which is worth trying ..thank you so much everyone for such a great food.. I will come back again for sure with my friends...
