The SOHO hotel is the scummiest business in the entire city. They have “control” over the service elevator on the residence side and charge a $100.00 non refundable fee per hour just for residents to move out of the building. It is literally highway robbery. All other condos in the city charge deposits to use service elevators and they don’t rob the residents (not to mention, landlords pay $1,000 a month just in maintenance fees to live here). When my sister and I moved out of the residence side we asked to use the service elevator for 15 minutes. We went over time (but for some reason 15 minutes is free? Makes zero sense) and Alex at the front desk (who was very rude might I add) snatched the key from the concierge immediately once the 15 minutes was up. How can management or front desk staff from the hotel think this is an acceptable fee to charge? Especially when we were only using the elevator on a Sunday evening when nobody was around. Side note for the hotel: the hot tub jets don’t even work and the gym is the smallest I’ve ever seen. Hotel staff are the rudest people I’ve ever encountered and they clearly have no decency or respect for other people who are paying a fortune to rent on the residence side. AVOID this hotel at all costs. There are much better options within the city.

Staying here was a complete pleasure! I had to make unplanned adjustments to my room, and the concierge, Xavier, was so kind and fulfilled everything (and beyond),in record time. The room is very spacious, perfectly cleaned, and the amenities were pretty great too. I totally recommend this place if you want to have a nice stay at the heart of downtown Toronto.

Rooms were super nice! Heated floors in the bathrooms. Really nice storage for your home away from home. Nice snack options. Restaurant and bar downstairs are awesome as well. Hot tub and pool were perfect! Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting this amazing city. All the staff were super sweet and helpful :)

Beautiful hotel and rooms but worst staff and service!!! As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in many hotels ranging from 4-5 stars within the Downtown Core. I have never experienced such rude staff and lack of respect for my time and money. I was misinformed prior to check in and was made to feel like an issue with their room/services was not a big ordeal. If you're looking for "bang for your buck" or for a nice stay, I would not recommend this place as it is nice on the outside but poorly managed from the time of check in to check out.

3 stars because I’m impressed and satisfied below average based on my experience from other 4-5 star hotels, but I believe 2 star would not be fair. Good: A clean and lovely room. Friendly staff, specifically Onur who was at the front desk when we checked in and helped us with bringing the phone charger personally to the room to lend us. Not impressive: When a room is already $400+, I can’t really digest being charged about $10 for the “facilities” separately, and then being charged about $2.5 for using a Visa card, and then being asked for the parking fee at the check out. Of course, I am aware there is a transaction fee for a credit card, but it’s the first time in my life that I’m actually charged separately for using a credit card, and being asked to pay for the parking in a 4-5 star hotel. Even less impressive: I noticed an extra charge of $152 on my credit card a couple days later. After calling the hotel, they informed me that it was because of using a minibar. I told them that we didn’t take anything from the minibar and the front desk lady replied that she should check with the manager. Two days later I sent a follow up email, they replied promptly that it was a mistake on their side, and they refunded the money. I am satisfied how it was handled but I’m not still impressed of this mistake. Charging $152 for a minibar is not a light mistake; a 4 star hotel is expected to be more diligent and have higher standards.

Rooms were amazing however our sink did start to leak from the handle because of too much water pressure. Front desk reception at check in were very friendly and informative, however it would have been nice to know there is an additional $11 charge at check out for pool and gym facilities we did not even get a chance to use. Parking as also an additional charge or you can make a deal with the lot across the street for less

Loved it here again. Great reception…wasn’t sure what to expect after reading below about ‘Connor at the front desk’ but we had a great check in experience. Both men who welcomed us were friendly, informative, personable. We would give five stars except the kid at the desk in the gym—someone needs to get him off his phone and teach him how to interact with people! Our luxury king room was clean, bed is really comfortable and location is perfect! We will be back for our next date night in Toronto.

Service was AWESOME and Very Helpful and Friendly Staff. We stay in the Premier Luxury King Room. The bed so big comfortable we didn't want to get out of it and the washroom was oh my God shower, bath tub, heating floor, fridge, big mirrors, push buttons to close curtains. Big Screen TV across from couch, TV moves towards the bed, cellphone or tablet plug ins. There was a Pool and Work out Gym we did use them. Everything was so clean. We didn't want to leave The Hotel is only 4 min walk to the Roger's Centre, CNN Tower, Downtown Entertainment. I will request my family and friends to go here. We are from Dufferin County and I wish we had a Hotel like this in our Area. Thank You SoHo Hotel Staff 😊

Stayed one night on a Saturday as we were going to a concert at Rogers Centre. Check-in was smooth and the room was decently nice until I decided to use the bathroom. I got shocked by something sharp on the bottom of foot, only to realize that it was a small chard of glass. My husband called the front desk who apologized and said the hotel manager will be in touch. Went to the concert and came back to the room which seemingly looked untouched, however, the piece of glass that I left on a tissue was now gone. No one contacted or acknowledged the situation after we made them aware. We just wanted to sleep the night off and leave the next morning. As we were packing up we noticed the stains on the inside of the bedsheets. Honestly, this could have been an alright stay given the location and size of the rooms but for $500 a night you can book anywhere else downtown for a better experience.

Beautiful hotel. Easy to get to. Great location. We were encouraged to get the app to check in, however that did not work. We were greeted right away and checked in at the front desk. Underground parking available till approx 2pm the following day which is nice. We used the pool/hottub while we stayed. Nice and clean and near our room which was an added bonus. Heated floors were so nice in the bathroom. Not the best views but that's very minor. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is one of a kind and close to everything downtown Toronto. We stayed in a king executive suite with a separate living area and walk in closet, it was huge! The bathroom was beautiful with a tub and shower as well as heated floors, the heated floor was amazing. All the little amenities from the nespresso coffee to slippers to a bathrobe were a nice touch. They even had automatic blinds that close and open with the push of a button. With the click of a button you turn on do not disturb, no more placing a paper sign on the door. The soft king bed was so comfortable to sleep in. The suites are such a big size and overall such a luxurious and beautiful room. We did not use the pool or restaurant, but it looked great and the staff were very friendly. Overall a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at SoHo Hotel Toronto and overall, it was a great experience. From the moment I entered the room, I was impressed by the spaciousness and attention to detail. The bed was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the stay. It was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a long day. The plush bedding and supportive mattress made it difficult to get out of bed in the morning! The bathroom was another standout feature. The heated floors added a touch of luxury, making stepping out of the shower a cozy experience, especially during colder weather. The modern fixtures and ample space made getting ready a breeze. In terms of amenities, the hotel didn't disappoint. From the well-equipped fitness center to the cafe and restaurant, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The staff were also friendly and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met throughout my stay. However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks that affected my overall experience. Firstly, the phone in the room felt dated and could benefit from an upgrade. Additionally, while the TV offered a decent selection of channels, the lack of variety was noticeable. The inability to use Chromecast was also disappointing - perhaps it was just the tv in my room, but I tried several different ways to stream from my own device. Despite these small issues, my stay was still highly enjoyable. The combination of comfortable accommodations, luxurious amenities, and attentive service makes it a place I would gladly return to in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay here! We were here for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary- and they were so thoughtful. They left a balloon, chocolates, and a hand written card on our door. The room itself was a Deluxe King - had a tub, heated floors, bathrobes, modern TV, automatic curtains! Staff were great and area was so close to so many things that we always wanted to visit downtown Toronto. Would easily recommend!!

I spent 1 night and 2 days here with my mom as a little treat and overrall we had a wonderful experience. The first thing you notice is the wonderful smell before and after entering the hotel. 🌺The staff were professional and really accomdating. Once I signed up for their reward system my room was upgraded which was super cool! The room was big, beautiful and quiet. My favourite part was the bed, I will be dreaming about it for a long time. 😊 My mom and I enjoyed the Pool, Hot Tub and Steam room which were very relaxing. The only reason it is a 4 star rating for me is because food is important and it did not meet my taste bud standards. We ordered three meals at the restaurant, plus room service the next day from the same place and we did not enjoy it. I would recommend staying at the hotel but eating out.✌🏾

One of the best boutique hotels in Toronto. I happen to stay at a lot of hotels for work, and the SoHo is one of my favourites whenever I'm in the city. The location is phenomenal, and love that all the rooms have King beds! The gym is also worth mentioning -- I like the size, outdoor area and variety of equipment. There's also a pool and steam room! Highly recommend, especially for staycations and business travel.

Cannot overstate just how much we (my wife and I) appreciate the SoHo. Stayed here along with some of our guests for our wedding and every single aspect of our stay was perfect. The service was unparalleled, the location is central to the city, and the accommodations are amazing--neither too minimalist that it seems sterile, nor too busy that it seems cluttered. Will be back again and again.

Special stay as it was my birthday. Xavier was lovely, friendly and accommodating. Best decaf cappuccino with oatmilk found at Café. Chocolates, macrons and complimentary water a welcoming touch. Comfy beds, very clean room. We'll be returning!

Hotel is totally fine, great service, clean rooms, nice bedding, good location, all the usual. The wifi was terrible for me though and was unreliable several times without any connection, making a critical deadline painful. I let them know many times. I had to work in the lobby at 1:30 in the AM to get anything working, which shouldn’t be the case at a 5 star hotel. It took them two days to fix it for me and it was still disconnecting periodically. They offered me a paltry $25 coupon at their restaurant which I don’t have time to use, which compounded the disappointment.

Love this hotel and the nice, kind staff at The Soho Hotel. Left my jacket at the restaurant and despite being told it’s not there, I did not give up hope and sure enough, the staff found it! Awesome people make an awesome experience. Way to make me a loyal, fan!

We stayed here last year, and now it's where we will stay every time we go to Toronto. Great staff, a great cafe right off the lobby for your morning espresso or cafe latte.fresh baked croissant or baking. Rogers center is a 5 min walk. And union Station is a ok walk even with luggage

Beautiful hotel. One major major complaint- I’ve stayed here on and off for two years and have been in quite a few rooms both on the hotel and residence side, and this hotel has the worst beds I have ever slept in. Like completely destroyed, sleeping in a crater kind of bad. If you’re looking for a good night sleep, this is not the place.

We enjoyed our recent stay at SoHo Hotel. David, Xavier and the rest of the staff were fantastic. The front desk staff were welcoming and answered each of our questions with smiles. Rooms were well kept. The location was convenient. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Bad service , and manipulate deals based on if they like you or not , been here before and this time they pretended that what I ordered before never existed (bottles service)

Very nice, comfy, conveniently located place. Can't get any closer to downtown. The service is superb! Special mention to Jonah at the front desk. Very courteous, professional and gave me great customer service with everything I needed. Will definitely stay at Soho again.

I stayed at the soho this passed weekend for my boyfriends birthday. They had champagne and Truffles waiting in the room. The room was beautiful. The wood finishing is beautiful. And the bathroom was so spacious and the deep soaker tub was so relaxing. Was a beautiful night spent away from home in all the madness of covid. Oh and the staff at the front were so friendly and very helpful. I will be back ! My boyfriend was so happy.

Just had an awesome 2 night stay!! Awesome staff, very clean, close to Rogers Centre. Bathroom was amazing and the king bed was super comfortable. Check in / out was quick and no issues. They arranged transportation for us to get to the airport. Would definetly stay here again.🙂

This is by far, my favourite hotel in the city. The rooms are quite large and spacious, the bathroom is such a luxurious experience thanks to the marble, deep soaker tub and heated floors, and I could go on but hands down, my favourite hotel I've stayed at within the city and that too, on an extended stay. Everyone is so kind - from front desk to housekeeping - the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

stayed here for my boyfriends birthday for the weekend. super nice hotel, the lobby had restaurants coming from both sides, we didn’t get a chance to dine in any of them, but we heard good things. our room was small but just the right size, our room looked out to the other side of the hotel, i kinda wished we had a view of the city more but i did however like seeing the other buildings reflect off of the hotel windows. our bathroom was very nice, heated flooring was amazing you could almost just sleep on the floor. the bath and shower were comfortable and roomy, may i add that the drapes for the windows has their own control button that open and closes them automatically… whatttttt, it may not be that much of a deal but ive never seen that before, but i was very amused. we loved the swimming pool and hot tub, no one was there when we went so it was a nice place for us to relax, we had to go through the gym in order to get to the pool, which was a little awkward but wasn’t that big of a deal. staff was friendly. house keeping came by asking if we needed anymore towels or refills on toilet paper. bed and pillows felt like clouds, we slept like babies. very local to restaurants, convenient stores and landmarks. overall a very nice stay!

The room was absolutely gorgeous (should be for $440/night). We had issues checking in because I didn’t have the physical card used to prepay and they wouldn’t let me pay the damage deposit with debit. Fast forward, we figure it out, my friend pays and they refund my card, but they charged her for the damages? No hotel I’ve ever stayed at actually charges the credit card unless damages occurred. Overall, the front desk worker was rude over the phone, they charged the deposit when no damage was made, won’t be here again.

The service was top notch. The room size was great! The bathroom was my favorite. It was very luxurious. I enjoyed the bathtub the most. It was great having a soak after a long day of exploring. The hotel is central and close to many attractions along with transportation, pharmacies, and everything else in between. The restaurant in the hotel was a bit pricey, but the food was yummy! I wanted to specifically point out one team member as he was very kind. I unfortunately did not catch his name, but I ordered Uber Eats on the evening of June 11. The gentleman in the lobby [at the desk closest to the restaurant] saw that I was making my way back to my room, and brought out a bag of utensils and asked if I needed them for my meal. I appreciate that he went the extra mile to make sure that I had everything I needed. He also recommended a few breakfast places to try out as well. Every encounter I had with this gentleman during my stay was positive. I was always greeted with a friendly smile. Someone give that man a raise! Thank you SoHo hotel for a great stay and for the friendliest staff! I look forward to visiting our friendly neighbors up north again! :)

Conor at the front desk lacks basic customer service skills. Very cold and unfriendly, not a single hello or enjoy your stay. Hotel itself was fine. Conor - some advice - say hello and learn to smile when you work a service job.

Stayed here with my bf for one night and it was great. They always opened the front doors for us, the 2 restaurants attached on the main floor looked Devine and the staff was super accommodating. The heated floors in the bathroom was really a plus. We stayed in the executive king suite and would recommend that one. Spacious enough and bathroom looks so luxurious. 10/10 would recommend.

Heated floor in the huge bathroom was wonderful, best part of this hotel is the staff. Kind, helpful, and know the area well. We took a lot of suggestions from Alex(andra), who did our rooms. Lovely little extras like a housekeeping visit in the evening to see if you need anything else, a huge umbrella and bath salts for the big tub! Location is perfect for Rogers Center, CN Tower, and a ton of other things; it's all easy to walk to.

Absolutely loved our stay here!! It’s incredible, luxe, beautiful and downtown Toronto - can’t beat the location! From the moment I walked in, was greeted by the kind and helpful front desk staff, and the beautiful art piece in the lobby as well as the amazing design of the front entrance. Including their own fragrance line that you can purchase - what a neat feature! The room was outstanding, very large and with a lot of amazing features. I appreciated the heated bathroom floors (!!), the nesspresso machine, bath salts and the electric curtains. The bed was super comfy and after a long travel day it was so nice to not hear anything at night. This is perfect for a corporate/business traveller! The art through out the hotel was so lovely. You can sure tell that they pay attention to all the little details! The gym is very impressive with an onsite trainer - wow, steam room and large showers. Loved the pool with so much light from the big windows on either side. The staff members I interacted with through out my stay were AMAZING, went above and beyond! I was curious about some of their event spaces so I toured the building and some of their amazing event spaces and was equally as impressed with these as I was with the room! The views from the large outdoor space feature the iconic CN tower and surrounding buildings! I wish I would’ve gotten to try the attached restaurants, their menus looked amazing! Overall I highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Toronto and wanting to stay downtown! Can’t wait to be back! :)

I didn't even stayed at the hotel. I reserved a room on Monday through the expedia for Friday night. It was mentioned in the policy of the hotel there is no charge until the day of the check in. my plan changed and I cancelled right a day after I booked my room which was on Tuesday. As soon as I cancelled the reservation, I noticed the hotel charged my credit card. I called expedia and I was told there is no charge on your credit card!!!!!. I called the hotel, they told me oh we are so sorry we do not know how did it happen. We will reimburse your money right now. it has been 4 days and I sill did not get reimbursed!!!!. so unprofessional and I won't stay in this hotel in the future. they are ripping off the the people and they are not responsive for their mistake. I still do not understand why they charged me full amount for nothing!!!
