Good clean beach that wasn't too busy. The beach was sandy with shallow entry into the water. Life jackets are free to borrow. All young kids must pass a swim test to swim without parents next to them. The staff was picking up trash towards the closing time of 7 pm. Just before leaving they have a super convenient heated foot rinser. It is nice that they have a water slide but you must be over a meter tall to go down it.

Nice place. They charge 10$ for entry to beach area otherwise rest of the park and lake is free to use. Cleanliness can be better taken care of, the water of the lake is full of algae and it stinks. But Nice family environment and good for biking and walking around. I saw people fishing and kayaking as well so good little getaway in Brampton.

Perfect natural place for walk, swim and trail. We went just to see the lake then after that decided to boom swimming for kids. It was really amazing full of fun and Sun. After Covid will plan again. The walk around the pond and sitting on bench during walk very different kind of experience. Fresh air, ducks πŸ¦† birds 🦒 πŸ¦… and green trees🌲.

NO WIFI. Very nice walkway around the lake. Some part of it goes into the street cause some houses privately own a peace of the lake side. The main entrance is Bramalea and north park. Down north park before torbram road.

Professor’s lake is very nice, and there is a small beach as well. It is excellent for jogging, running, and morning walks.

Small trail located right across the hospital. The trail is paved, however if you want to do the complete circle, you must go through the neighborhood on one side. There's a small parking lot and nice Hill that also overlooks the lake.

If you like the outdoors and bike riding this is the park walk for you. Convenient parking, lots of benches along the walk so you can sit if it’s your first date, beautiful spots for pictures or just nature lovers in general.

Busy family oriented beach. Water is clean enough it seems & lifeguards are around. A bit too busy and the food at the beach was high priced + low quality so bring your own snacks, but otherwise pretty much what you'd expect. If you're drinking alcohol in public and low-key about it no one will give you any trouble. Some young people / teens / 20' somethings on the beach, but mostly families. This was on a weekday, so perhaps the demographic may be different during the weekend. Water slide for kids by the beach as well. Volley ball net at the back of the beach. Not many picnic tables so bring chairs if you have them. Not much natural tree shade spots, so bring tent/tarp if you have it. Swim shoes not needed the beach ground floor isn't too rocky or uncomfortable.

Professor's Lake in Brampton, Canada is a hidden gem of tranquility. The pristine lake, embraced by lush greenery, offers a serene escape from the city's bustle. Its natural beauty and serene ambiance make it a perfect retreat for those seeking solace in nature.

Professor Lake is a great spot for both picnic and water activities. You can enjoy swimming in the lake, have a picnic by the shore, or even go fishing. It's a peaceful and scenic location where you can relax and have fun with friends and family. There aren't any eating stores nearby Professor Lake, so it's a good idea to pack some water and snacks to enjoy during your visit. It's always better to come prepared and have everything you need for a fun and satisfying day at the lake. Don't forget to bring some delicious treats to keep you energized! 🌊πŸ₯ͺ🍎

Beach is good...staff is friendly..but washroom was dirty and not maintained properly..since entry is on payment , expect the washrooms to be clean 24*7.

The lake is beautiful and well maintained. I was impressed with how many people visit it everyday, how clean the water and beach was. The water slide was enjoyable, and I appreciated having 3 lifeguards in close proximity. It is a wonderful place to go with friends or family.

Nice lake with walking trails. Good for a stroll at any time of the day. Spotted a very beautiful bird this week. Don Doan trail is a good one. The houses surrounding the lake are very beautiful. Professor's lake park is also nice for kids.

Its Bramptons must visit for sure. Its got everything for everyone. Beach, walk trails, grass, trees, water rides, rental boating, playground for kids. Very nice atmosphere to walk around. Be careful for swimming though. There have been a few incidents for swimmers. Water is very deep at some areas. But over all highly recommended places to visit.

This is a simple review of Professor's lake as a short hike destination. This is an artificial lake that once was a sand pit. Going around the lake will take you about 45mn and represents about 3km. It's a nice walk that can be busy at times and can also be done on a bicycle. It goes right around the lake on the water edge which bring a nice cooler breeze during the summer as the water remains colder. To complete the round you will have to walk a short distance through a residential area as some house have direct access to the waterfront. A nice walk to do if you're looking for a short hike.

Very nice beach & staffs. Only thing is so much goose poops in sand close to water. That's disgusting to play for kids. Otherwise it's good.

The beach is closed and will open only in August somewhere. However in google it shows open. You can walk around the lake and enjoy the calm and serenity though.

  • 4/5 Adeep P. 9 months ago on Google
Experience was good but you will not find a free place where you can sit and eat food. You have to buy ticket for a certain area and there you can go for boating or fun etc plus seating benches are also available for that area.

  • 5/5 Akashdeep S. 4 years ago on Google
Good lake to paddle around for some fun and to watch the loons and the fish. 1. Boat rental is cheap. 2. Peddle boats are lame as uaual. Too much effort for very little gain. Avoid renting these. Screw propellors would make these boats travel better. 3. Rent the canoe or the sit on top Kayak instead. 4. Go on weekdays to avoid rush. 5. Don't count on the beach area being open. They may close due to high bacteria levels.

It's a beautiful place that you can spend the whole day at. There are a lot of amenities in the neighborhood as well. Great for urban outdoor enthusiasts
