This place is great. We’ve been back several times. I always get the son of a rise breakfast sandwich- egg, avocado, bacon, mayo, incredibly good biscuit. The staff is friendly too. Can’t go wrong.

At first I was unsure of this very unassuming cafe until the first bite of the breakfast sandwich. Absolutely amazing. Their biscuits are bar none and one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The only things that was a negative was having to repeat my order 15 times through the plexiglass window and the order was missing items - but was never charged for. Better service is needed.

I love Lazy Daisy’s. It reminds me of a spot in cottage country and I always want to feel that warm and welcoming vibe. Dawn is the owner and she is always there welcoming, chatting, tidying and with a big smile. All the staff are super friendly too and it makes you want to return. The food is amazing especially their homemade buttery biscuits. They are served plain with butter and jam, as their killer breakfast sandwiches and they have loads. I love their healthy cookie and not so healthy but addictive salted brownie. Coffees are perfect and oh man do not miss the cinnamon bun pancakes. This was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in the city, it has all the right parts - simple unbeatable. The avocado, the egg, perfect bread. A slam dunk in the city and perhaps my favourite one I've ever had.

Awesome spot for brunch! Great service and food! The highlight is definitely the buttermilk biscuit which is freshly prepared by the kitchen everyday. The prices are slightly high. For the food, it was worth it but for the freshly squeezed OJ, I was expecting a bigger portion. Overall, great job Lazy Daisy’s team! Loved the food!

Great menu, location, great atmosphere, and great staff! What more can be said? So many wonderful options and fantastic flavours, with excellent portions. We had a great time tasting each others dishes, too! The only downside for me was there was really only one option for my allergies to wheat, egg, and dairy... and the bun crumbled after my first bite! Nonetheless, it was absolutely delicious and satisfying.

Came here for lunch at around 1pm and was seated right away. The atmosphere is cute with a huge menu printed on the wall and colorful painted walls. The tables are a bit cramped though and it can get quite loud very easily. We ordered the cinnamon bun pancakes as well as the mother clucker. The cinnamon bun pancakes were super light, fluffy and not too sweet. Great for something sweet after a savoury dish! The mother clucker was also amazing. The biscuits were warm and buttery, the fried chicken had a small kick to it and wasn't too heavy. The chicken was also super juicy and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back for more biscuits!

Used to regularly order here but unfortunately portions have gotten significantly smaller. My usual order (breakfast burrito) was noticeably smaller with mostly egg filling as the image shows. There was a very small amount of watery salsa, maybe one avocado slice in the whole burrito, and barely any cheese. A bummer to pay over 14 bucks on Uber eats for that. Didn’t want to bring down their rating too much but thought folks should know my experience.

I haven't been here for 10 years or so and had high hopes for this visit. I ordered the rise of vegan sandwich. It looked good but after the first bite I knew it was going to be underwhelming. The biscuit was so dry that after two more bites the entire sandwich disintegrated. I needed my fork to continue but the biscuit was so dry I couldn't. I could be wrong, but the plant-based egg looked like the "Just Egg" product. I was hoping for something made on site. I thought a place like this would take their vegan menu items seriously. The staff were very friendly and pleasant, and the space was nice. I may give it another try...

The cinnamon bun pancakes are soo good! I wasn't expecting much but it was super tasty - soft and slightly chewy, and it tastes just like a cinnamon bun! We also got the "due South" as it got a mix of everything they got. The fried chicken was a bit on the salty side and the mac and cheese tasted a little bland. I would come back for the cinnamon bun pancakes! Also, the menu layout looked very busy and they could have used different typography to make reading easier.

Lovely restaurant. Quaint decor. Friendly service. Not busy so not a long wait. My wife and I had lunch on Wednesday on the beautiful patio. Had soup and sandwiches all made from scratch... delicious. Highly recommended.

What a cute & wonderful cafe! Took my daughter here after ballet class and we had the best time. Ash was amazing!! He was kind & professional while taking care of our order and service, making sure my daughter’s hot chocolate was just the right temperature. Ash was trooper and handled a lot of customers on his own, so I can imagine that being hard and perhaps management can look into more hired help. We ate our brunch outside in the colourful and vibrant patio while watching the hustle & bustle of the street. My daughter went home quite happy! Thanks for the lovely experience.

My boyfriend just got us take out breakfast there and it was delicious. However, he had to wait 50 MINUTES for them to get the food ready, prioritizing food delivery orders. He had to ask them twice for them to start preparing our food. I'm so disappointed because I was super excited for the gluten-free options...

My favourite breakfast sandwich in all of Toronto! Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich!! My go-to order: SON-OF-A-RISE - Free-run egg, cheddar & Mennonite smoked bacon, avocado & tomato on homemade buttery country biscuit. Local, handmade, quality ingredients is the focus here. One of my fave neighbourhood (East End) gems. Also- loved that they opened a General Store last year, and offered delivery of essentials (both food and non-food). It was tremendously helpful - enabling me to stay home safely when I needed to, and still support a great local small business. Thank you!

food was great, it was out quick. homemade jam was top tier. restaurant was packed. get front of house if you can as the atmosphere in the back is lively but a lighting a bit dull. Bacon was cold. those were the only cons! everything else was fantastic. great place for families. The staff pretty much leave you alone (which is nice) and if it’s busy you might have to ask someone for the cheque. i sat at the window and it was perfect, cozy, and felt like home.
