I was here for their New Year's eve event which was $20, and it was an absolutely terrible experience. The music was not so great. I was hoping it would be bumping for an NYE event, however the real disappointment was the organization of the event. My friends and I had to wait 2 HRS to get our coats, and we were some of the lucky few, there were people who had to leave without their coats while getting pushed around in what can only be described as a stampede. They had 3 different openings to the coatcheck room (2 windows and a door), they should've used all 3 to spread traffic out. The floor was so wet at the event that i found myself slipping on the floor several times. Unfortunately for another person, they actually slipped and fell on a container of ice. waste of both time and money. I was more entertained reading the responses to these reviews than I was at the event. I guess the 1 star is well deserved for that.

What is wrong with your security? Visited your establishment on October 22nd, 2016. Let me add that I have visited before and had no issues. This time, I was made to feel uncomfortable and accused of "getting high" --- I don't do drugs, thanks. I got into the club no problem, no one mentioned anything to me and nothing out of the ordinary happened. Upon getting onto the dance floor, a female security guard pulled me away from my friends and took me into a secluded area - I'm sure common protocol for questionable guests? I had had a few drinks before coming. I was in a good mood. She ruined that. She asked how many I'd had, I said three/four in the last couple of hours. (Hours, people. Not minutes. I wasn't crazy drunk in the least.) She told me my motor skills seemed impaired. Apparently other staff was "worried". And then she said, "your pupils seem a little dilated. Smoke a little WEED before coming? Get a little HIGH?" (Exact words and inflection.) .......Excuse me? I was pleasant throughout the whole exchange, she commented on how I seemed okay to hold a conversation, but they would be "keeping an eye on me". So, thank-you, Junction. I was anxious to dance with my friends. I didn't order any drinks unlike my friends, because I didn't want to be judged or berated again. I was scared to even BE at Junction anymore, period. I understand questioning guests about drinks, but in what universe is it okay to accuse people that they were doing drugs?! "We'll be watching". Night ruined... Definitely will think twice when friends say they want to visit Junction again.

The manager doesn’t even take negative reviews seriously when they are the best way to improve your business, your worst critics can be your best friends And you guys talk a lotta smack for the lowest rated club in Durham. Maybe if you listened to those that complain you could up your rating, but you instead choose to whine at your dissatisfied customers. You guys offer nothing special enough to act so self righteously to your customers. Go back to doing what you do best Junktion, play your terribly mixed basic music and serve your terribly mixed drinks. People only come to you for a half-way clubbing experience, because they either lack the money or transportation to go to a real club.

If I could give this place 0 stars, trust me I would. Bartender made my drink wrong and refused to correct it for me. Told me I could pay for the drink or not get a drink at all. So I ended up paying for a drink I didn’t want. Terrible first visit, and will not return lol. Prior to this happening, I was having a good time but that one interaction was a deal breaker for me

GREAT Atmosphere, AMAZING lights, HOWEVER, the music is god awful. The amount of outdated songs and terrible “club” remixes made me not enjoy the night. Everything else is a 10/10 but the DJ needs to figure it out. In response to the owners response: you have a 2.6 star rating bro

Everything was great The only issue was the music. They started with lousy music but in the end, it was a blast. I really enjoyed. Met some cool people. You should only go there if you have friends or if you just wanna dance and don't care about anything else. I went for the dance but met an old friend over there. It's good to socialize and meet people. It gives you a sense that you're not alone in the world and there are people to support you. Make new friends. Life is temporary and you should make the most out of it. Enjoy your life as much as you can. Wish I could bring my girlfriend over here. I'd love to dance with her.

Wow junction night club is absolute TRASH. If i had an option for zero stars that would be my rating. The crowd is very young and immature so if your looking for a fun grown up exiperence please dont go here. Dj Storm the resident Dj is TERRIBLE! , he was mixing songs together that did'nt even go together. If i was asked to describe the music in one word that word would be GARBAGE just wow im in awe that people truly have a good time there. So to summarize my rewiew i will say this...if you are a mature classy person over the age of 25 looking to dance to music mixed by a great dj and have a peaceful drama free night where security actually does their job JUNCTION NIGHTCLUB IS NOT FOR YOU...I REPEAT JUNCTION NIGHT CLUB IS NOT FOR YOU. Please save your money and go elsewhere. And a quick question i hope to hear a response from management if numerous patrons complain about the music selection and DJ why not listen to your patrons and take corrective action people dont want to spend their hard earned money to go to an establishment and hear the same mixes time and time again. And claiming that you play what is popular so that why we hear in numerous times each visit is not truly and answer ( i am refering to lu jones rewiew). I look forward to hearing an answer .

The staff is extremely nice, funny and very helpful. The food is amazing. One of my favourite places to go. Always making sure we are taking care of. Big shout out to Ryan, Lemon (Chris), Inder, William, Dylan, Trevor, Mac, Sawyer, Sarah and everyone else who works there!! Such an amazing job guys :) keep up the good work!!

Lucky for me I was warned to NOT attend this “club” I’m new to the city and wanted to go out for a an alcohol free night YET everyone I have come across has absolutely nothing nice to say about this place 😶 definitely not good for the business but THANK YOU for redirecting me from a horrible experience since I’m mid 30s and would want to attend a proper place and have a decent time... and that doesn’t seem to happen at this place- for “my age group” 🤔🤦🏻‍♀️.. a club should be inviting to all age groups and all types of dance music INCLUDING hip hop, rave, dancehall, electronic... etc. NOT just the top 40 remixed by a kid 🤯

I went with a group of friends for New Year's..pre-purchased tickets and all. They would not let me in because they could not recognize a Pennsylvania ID from the US. I don't think the bouncers in front of the club were educated enough to go inside and check my ID against the book of IDs from other countries. I was carded at the LCBO earlier that week and they had no problem looking up what a US drivers license looks like. Luckily the security in front of Riley's checked and said it was legit but once I tried to get in again through the club (to scan our tickets) I was told the head of security said it was fake! I'm extremely offended that they did not except my state issued ID. And only because they were not educated enough to know it was real!! Someone should have taken it inside the first time there was any doubt, instead of letting me wait outside and freeze for half an hour. It completely ruined my night and New Years Eve. All my friends were inside except for my boyfriend and I. We won't EVER be returning here. Maybe they should hire some professionals that can actually distinguish a real versus a fake ID!

You guys honestly really need a new DJ like asap. DJ storm just does not vibe. Half the crowd just stands on the dance floor and like what is that mixing. We aren’t here to look at peoples faces but to dance. Make my $10 worth it. It’s best to avoid being bored when you come to junction. I rather go to TAP for a good night. If you need suggestions let me know

- The music is so loud your ears will be ringing afterwards - it’s 7$ for a shot of vodka - The DJ doesn’t know how to make good transitions between songs. - The ain’t queue is garbage, the DJ played songs that didn’t go well together at all (Like Mo Bamba to Taylor swift??) - There are way too many cuts for the crowd and sound bits, please let me enjoy the music. -Broken Glass is on the floor which could be expected

I have never been to this establishment, but I've been reading the reviews and the responses from the owner.....complete gold!!! Such class and sass. Would %100 come here just to meet em in the flesh!! Kudos to you for being amazing.

I will never come back to junction again. Everything here is out of control. No organization by staff. I've been waiting in a line for glow paint for about an hour and everyone can just bud in front. I come here every once in a while but I will definitely be going some where else. Plus they always play the same music. Need a new dj. I would give zero stars but apparently I have to give one.

Nice place ... younger crowd...music .. just wanted to grab a quick drink but the security checked me more intense then airport security ever did... oh well at least you should feel safe...In thought it was a little much when the guy went through my cigarettte pack...I have never been through that before

My boyfriend and I had a such a blast for our first time being there and first time going out since we moved to oshawa. One of the security guards outside (I believe his name was Trevor) was amazing, he got us in with no charge and got complimentary first drinks. Such a good first impression to the city and club. We will be back in the future!

Wow! I went here for my birthday and they are the best! The waitress for our booth was the best! Just overall the best place if you’re new to clubbing! Music is really good! Little sad they had very few reggae songs. THANK YOU for an amazing night!

It was the first time my friend went to the junction and he was dancing and decided to do the worm, of all the things to get band for it was the worm! this place is trash and should be closed!

Best clubbing experience. Safe environment and the great music. My girlfriends and I had good experience.

Worst place to go, music is all remixed and once the play a good song they change it. Drinks were different every time even though I asked for the same every time. Didn’t look at IDs very well. All underage people and the people that go there were very inappropriate.
