I like the new look. They even have a water fountain for those hot summer days.

99 Caribou Road: Caribou Park is a nice little playground that was upgraded in May 2016 with neighborhood sponsorship - as acknowledged with a bronze sign naming the local well-heeled benefactors. It boasts a rubber-filled, cork lined playing floor which makes it much safer if tots suddenly lose their grip or footing, making it VERY comfortable for walking on or sitting. Excellent comfort zone, surrounded by a few benches, picnic tables and permanent chess tables (bring your own game pieces). Nice trees behind a grassy knoll where you can run your dog as well as a separate flat green space in which to play frisbee. The old-style water fountain was replaced with a stand that is conveniently made for ease in refilling your water bottle with fresh clean cold water for those walking or cycling through. Also features a lovely concrete, gazebo-covered area that allows us to sit in reduced sun to read or chat with a friend. If there was a public washroom and wading fountain, this newly-renamed 'Phil Givens' Park would be rated as 5-star; it's a fine example of how all playgrounds should be!
