Visited this place with family as it is near Kariya Park. This is very rare that I give such low rating but I must say that I was really disappointed with the food. If you don't like sambhar in a South Indian restaurants than it should be big alarm. The worst part is that there is waiting time and we need to wait for 45 mins to get the table and 30 mins to get the food. Not at all worth it. Here is my food list: Masala Dosa * Onion Masala Dosa * Paneer Spring Dosa * Kanchipuram Kara Dosa * Pav Baaji Dosa (Mumbai Style) * Channa Bhatura * Mini Pizza * Uthappam Rasam * There was not a single dish which I can give more than one star. Someone need to tell the chef that Onion Masala Dosa does not mean adding raw onion to Dosa. Kanchipuram Kara Dosa was their signature dosa ($12.45) but never had such bad food. Paneer Spring Dosa costed $15.45 so it is not worth at all. They have mentioned South Indian Thali in the menu but they did not offer it. The price is very expensive. Although Staff is good and was working hard.

Nice food for a decent price, however the foods lacks the spice punch. The Vada Pav had no spice at all although the menu said that it would be spicy. The Masala dosa was nice but the spicy sauce was not spicy. we also ordered almond halwa which was a bit oily and very heavy, it was not made in Desi ghee!

It is one of my favorite places to have a South Indian meal. This time, I am giving 1 star because the restaurant owner couldn't hire more staff for the weekends given the fact that buffet is offered only during the weekends and the restaurant will be heavily crowded. We were told to wait for 10 minutes for our table, but we eventually ended up waiting for half an hour. There was no one to attend to the customers at the entrance. I ordered cold coffee with my meal, which was served without sugar, and on giving them the reivew about it, they just brought me packets of sugar to add in the coffee instead of getting me a fresh coffee. I love the food there, but going on a weekend to hear depressed music and drink coffee without sugar after waiting for 40-50 minutes is a disappointment. Please consider changing your playlist on the weekends, and the next time if your chef messes up the order, try getting a fresh order for the customer.

This time had a horrible experience! The food was tasteless and the old man working there acting like the manager has no manners and doesn't know how to speak with customers at all. About my experience... When called for reservation, the lady we spoke with said that they do not take reservations but after getting to the restaurant and wanting to sit away from every because they didn't maintain any social distancing. The old man working there acted like the manager and didn't allow us to sit where we wanted to even though our server was okay with it. The excuse that so called "manager" used was that the table is reserved. When we confronted about what we were told about reservations over the phone, he said "you customers always have something to complain about".

This place is good if you want to taste South Indian cuisine. Gadbad ice cream is a must try, though not as good as the one we have in India but close enough. Overall good food and great ambiance.

Were we pleasantly surprised or what! We went here for a Sunday morning breakfast with absolutely no clue about how it would be. But we loved everything that we ordered honestly. Their breakfast platter is a must try and rava dosa as well. We had both chai and coffee and both were fantastic. Definitely recommended. Parking is indoor from the back door and free so that’s a relief. Will definitely go again.

Excellent customer service and very clean restaurant. Extremely busy but very organized as we went on mother's day. Had a 20 minutes wait but was totally worth as we strolled to the nearby Kariya park. Food was very fresh and delicious. Definitely a go to place for good south Indian food.

Food could be batter quality. Disha presentation can be much batter and taste. Any way I do understand the ingredients and staff difficult to find. Amazing #i love the dosa.

Went to this place after a very very long time. Firstly be prepared with your vaccination passport and ID. We ordered a thali which was amazing in taste and worth the price in every way. Then we ordered Chettinad dosa thinking it would be spicy but we were disappointed and thirdly was the tava masala dosa- the potato filling was not good at all but the dosa was nice and crunchy. Service was really slow.. ambiance was probably a 5/10. Cleanliness 6/10. price point of view was average

Been to this place few times now, but missed to add a review. It’s a nice place to visit in the vicinity of square one Mississauga if you are craving for South Indian food. Anytime you visit this place, you will be waiting for a table as it’s busy due to the location and demand. Some of the staff here is nice. Food is alright but could be better or I had better South Indian food at se other places. If you want to have taste of everything order Thali but don’t take chapati; sadly the flour is a mixture of refined flour and wheat flour. This is a very busy place so make sure you order sooner than later. Most of the dishes are nice. Don’t think much and order anything that you want to eat 😋😋

Heard a lot about this place and finally managed to dine in after 4 years of hearing about it. Can’t say I was disappointed with all the hype and wait. Food was good and the service was impeccable, attentive and helpful. Came all the way from downtown Toronto in a rental car to eat here. But was seconds go, maybe I won’t make that effort to come back. Don’t get me wrong, food was good, but there was nothing spectacular. A place for good authentic South Indian cuisine in Mississauga, close the Square One . Amply parking below the establishment. The breakfast brunch is a good deal for $13 but they close that by 11:30 latest. Sometimes by 11 am. Pongal wasn’t the best I’ve eaten, but the dosas were fantastic. Tomato chutney was excellent. Sambhar was pretty good too.

This weekend i went to this place with my friends. We ordered various kind of dosas, vegetable pulao, bhaji paav, mango lassi, and buttermilk. I tried cheese garlic dosa, cheese chilli garlic dosa and mysore masala dosa. Among all i like mysore masala dosa. Other 2 were okay. Sambhar was very good. Coconut chutney was also good. Vegetable pulao and bhajipaav was not so good. It was okay and that is why i am giving 4 star instead of 5. Mango lassi was tasty. Butter milk was very warm. But we added extra ice cubes and then it was good. The customer service was also good. The interior design and atmosphere everything was perfect.

Not up to the expectations 🤮 I would rather go to Gurulakshmi. The taste of masala in dosa was without salt. This place is super crowded and busy; but not worth your visit. They should up their game because there are so many good restaurants here.

The food is really good. Authentic taste, couldn't find the proper southern Indian cuisine anywhere else. The service is poor and people only visit for the food. Plus they have free parking for customers in the basement.

This place use to be one of my favourite place for dosa’s, rasam and dahi vada. I visited this place recently and found that it’s good quality has been gone down. Dosa was still ok but rasam and dahi vada quality was not as good as it use to be. Even sambar was not that good as before. Despite of being small and very basic place it use to be high quality food before but sorry to say there quality is not same. Overall ok place to go.

Absolutely love their dosas. Would like to visit again and again. We tried onion rava masala dosa…which was so crispy, fresh and hot….second we tried chettinad masala dosa which was a spicy but was so good. We tried my fav Rasa vada…the rasam was so flavourful. I loved everything we had. This place will be my everytime go-to place for dosas. Do try it..!!!!

Authentic Indian taste. Tasted tiffins for the first time in Canada and loved it. Yummy Mysore Masala Dosa, Kanchipuram Kara Dosa, Garlic Butter Masala Dosa and Sambar idly. Mostly a busy place in the evenings.

Perfect casual spot for a tasty crispy dosa! Service is quick and there is a good variety of South Indian vegetarian dishes, for a very reasonable price. The dosas come in paper thin to a thicker ‘pancake’ Udupi style, and the stuffing ranges from blends of potatoes, chickpeas, onions, spices and more. And try their famous ice cream! There is free underground parking as well.

Food taste was good. Ordered Poori and kurma and the quantity of Kurma was very less and it wasn’t sufficient for two big Poories. Also we reached around 11.40 AM and they closed the breakfast buffet and when we request the lunch thali it wasn’t ready.

Review is based on my visit and experience as on 19th January. Wow! Best South Indian food I have had in Canada! If ever there was a hype about a franchise, this is worth the craze! We had visited here on the weekend for breakfast but couldn't because there was 1 hr waiting. So it was on the list to visit here. We ordered 1) Sev Puri 2) Mysore masala dosa 3) Chilli onion uttapam 4) Carrot halwa 5) Cold coffee The food was delicious!!!!! What can I say. Even though sev puri was not as authentic as a Mumbai street food but the taste was on point! Same for Mysore masala dosa. The rest were as I have had back in Mumbai. The entire vibe, setup, staff gave the authentic feeling. It was amazing!!! Would visit and explore more

Would go to the place again for the price and quantity. Who would expect a tummy satisfying mini-tiffin for a staggering 13$? Cheap price for good quality and quantity food. The service was lacking the speed and accuracy. We had to tell stuffs repeatedly and some food missed salt. So we had to ask for salt. The atmosphere is not that great. It is packed with people and the wait is dependent on the crowd. It’s high time we have reservations.

My friend and I tried out this South Indian restaurant. This place has tons of Dosa options, and I ordered Madras Dosa along with Idli & Sambar and Pani Poori. Dosa tastes delicious, but the panic poori and idli were average. The price is suitable for hospitality and food. 😀

The best place for South Indian cuisine. Try the Chill Cheese Dosa. Madras coffee is a must at the end of the meal.

Very tasty and authentic Indian food. Tried the Chole Bathure and 3 types of Dosas on their menu. The Chole Bathure was VERY tasty BUT served warm so it missed the mark by a little bit. I’d still order it again though because I know it won’t be the case every time it’s ordered. No comment on the dosas, they were simply the best and as close to original if not the same. The servers seemed a little overworked but I can understand because it was closing time. The supervisor was nice and deescalated a situation very well. Prices were reasonable too. Overall, if 10/10 recommend this place.

UDUPPI MADRAS CAFÉ MISSISSAUGA 👍👍 👍 👎🏿 👎🏿 The authentic south Indian vegetarian restaurant in town. Dosa and thali should try QUALITY OF THE FOOD 👍 we ordered sett Dosa, thali, poori and sambar vada. All tastes decent SERVICE👍 Not so so friendly and no smile. Customer service has areas of improvements but ok. VALUE for MONEY👍 reasonably priced and worth to try if you are looking authentic south Indian vegetarian food AMBIENCE & CLEANLINESS 👎🏿 sitting area Maintained just ok but restrooms need real cleaning as its smells really bad. It's good if management pay attention to this for customers. LOCATION 👎🏿 middle of mississauga but you get confused with parking. There is a free parking backside around the corner . If you are regular no problem but first timers here going to miss and pay for parking fee.

I've been a loyal customer at Udupi Madras Hotel, but my recent experience was far from satisfactory. I ordered paneer vegetable uttapam and received the regular paneer uttapam, which is extremely plain and bland, if I wanted that I wouldn’t have ordered panner vegetable. :( it wasn’t even done quickly, I had to wait 30-minute for a mix-ups, these kinds of things will impact customer satisfaction and tarnish the restaurant's reputation. I hope this feedback prompts improvements for future. Also please note a fare difference that remains unaccounted for the mixed dishes! :(

The food flavor and taste were average. Food was served by two ladies. Very tiny place and nothing fancy. The service was so-so. More of a take-out place. Price was costly for the food taste and quantity served.

It was too sweaty environment Smaller place as compare to people We ordered chhole chana it was tasty but could be better Idli and menu vada was ok But chettinad dosa was worst, too much of black pepper so I couldn’t ate it because of pepper

Savory South Indian food in Sauga. Located near Square One Udupi Madras Cafe is definitely a place you want to check out if you love good Indian food. We had the Hors D'oeuvres platter, Mushroom Masala Dosa, Sev Poori, Rava Kersi and Masala Chai. All of our choices were very well done and we are looking forward to returning to try other menu options. Parking is located underground and you can register your plates with the restaurant, don't pay the machine first like I did!

If u r craving for some South Indian food then you can try this place. Decent atmosphere, good food and great service . We ordered rocket dosa and special onion rava masala dosa, both of them tasted very good. The coconut chutney and sambar was okay not too good type, it was lil bland and not too spicy. Overall a good experience of trying a new restaurant and it has free parking space.

Tried the Udupi Madras cafe today. The food is ok. I had also ordered a tea for take out and it was below average. Unlike Saravana Bhavan they won't add sugar, we have to add sugar as required, but the tea didn't taste good. Service is fast. Price is ok, not on higher side

So,Me and my husband went for lunch today and we were very very hungry!! We had to wait for 5 min which was okay..! Talking about the food, we ordered 1 tomato soup, chole Batura and South Indian thali. We asked for a bowl so that we could share the Tomato soup and we got very small steel cup ( used to serve tomato sauce).. I have attached the images! It was very weird as we did not expect them to give us that!! 😆 post that we asked for some pepper and the waitress Was clueless!! 😂😂Overall food was decent but the service and hospitality was worst!! There is no etiquettes what so ever !! So we must go here with lot of patience and we have to squeeze ourselves in a tiny place!😆 they are under staffed!! In terms of authenticity I would give 3 star !!
