😠 I like to try new places specially vegan ones but when I ordered at this place from uber my experience was pathetic. I ordered a large combo with shanghai Noodles which were too greasy and the veggies seen in picture are the only amount of veggies it had (way too less), haven fried brown rice which... People often mention good,

When I’m downtown I always like to check out new vegan places that I never tried and this place was one of them. Food was good and easily ready since already cooked for you. I would go back to try the rest of the dishes the next time I’m in downtown Toronto :)

I like to try new places specially vegan ones but when I ordered at this place from uber my experience was pathetic. I ordered a large combo with shanghai Noodles which were too greasy and the veggies seen in picture are the only amount of veggies it had (way too less), haven fried brown rice which is neither brown nor cooked properly, Satay “beef” and Broccoli which was also very greasy and tasteless with missing ingredients(baby corn) as it says on uber it had baby corn in it. To my surprise on ordering from uber they don’t even provide fork or cutlery for the food they deliver. The food was too cold (the uber driver had the insulated bag from which he took it out before delivering). I believe this reviews are fake claming it to be very nice and all is a part of gaining more customers.

Probably not going to order from here again. The pictures on Uber eats show a lot more meat but it was just filled with mushy vegetables and the portions were maybe half full. (For $10 each per box) Not worth the price at all. This was definitely not a great experience in trying plant based food. The picture attached is just what’s left of bunch of celeries, watermelons and zucchinis. The flavour of them were not at all what you expect from asian cuisine - very bland.

So, so good. I have followed the Haven for many years starting years ago out near the 401/427 area, when it was difficult to find a decent vegetarian resto, to the beautiful location on Baldwin, and to the latest incarnation! It has never failed to impress!

I don’t understand the good reviews. Raw undercooked batter (over the tofu) and noodles. Everything floating in a pool of oil. The soup was not hot or sour. It was just fishy and mushroomy. I could do with the oiliness if it were tasty?!

I’m so glad to find this yummy place. Every bite was tasty. My favourites were the artichoke croquettes, garden fried brown rice(seasoning is so good like if it was cooked on a grill) & sweet and sour chick’n(taro). Flavourful yummy and healthy vegan meal. Recommended! Definitely give it a try.

Finally got to try this place out this past weekend and I'm so glad I did! The portions are very good for the price and the food was delicious too. When I was younger I loved eating at Manchu Wok, and this is basically a vegan version of that! The sweet and sour chicken was really good but I wish there were more pieces...I found the lychee very interesting because you normally don't find that fruit in savoury dishes, but it was a nice touch! I especially loved the green bean stir fry and the shanghai noodles. Overall, everything was flavourful yet it wasn't super greasy/oily which I loved :)

This place is awesome. The mock meats are very impressive, hardy and tasty. We tried the street market chik'n nuggets and they were awesome!! Highly recommend as a side. Also had the Haven Seitan with Shanghai Noodles, the gf tried the garden fries rice with sweet and sour chik'n. Very impressive flavours and really cool people working there. Support this gem!! We need to keep them around ♥️😍

I’m a meat eater, but a friend had told me to give Haven’s Chik’n sandwich a try. I have to say I was really impressed with the sandwich and the portion. I really believe if I gave this to an unsuspecting carnivore, they’d have no clue it was plant based. Great job!
