I had a fantastic time on a Toronto Island tour led by this company! My tour guide Ryan was super engaging as he told stories of life on the islands from various perspectives. Highly recommend going on a tour with them!

I recently went on a bike tour with Diana around Toronto's Islands, and it was an incredible experience. Diana was not only friendly and detail-oriented but also had a wealth of knowledge about the city's history. She made sure everyone was safe on the streets and even provided water and snacks. I highly recommend this tour with Diana – 100% recommended!

My family and I came from Chicago. We had the most fun and exciting time on Terrence’s tour. He is an extraordinary storyteller. He takes great care for the safety of his riders. He is personable and has great personal insight on the community. We learned so much more about Toronto than we would have on our own. My family will definitely go on another one of Terrence’s tours when we return. You have to do it!

Great bicycle tour! My experience was above expectations. I visited toronto islands and the place was pristine beautiful! The tour was very well arranged and all the instructions were provided appropriately. Lorraine was my tour guide and she was very professional! She guided and explained about the islands very well. She's not only a good instructor but also a great photographer! Loved the photos.

This was a last minute booking 3 hrs prior to the start of the tour. I was lucky they had availability. I would highly recommend this tour especially if you love cycling! Ryan made us all feel completely safe and relaxed and went at a nice steady pace. Loved the ferry ride over to the Islands but especially cycling round and learning the history too... oh and some amazing sunset views. Thanks for the photos Ryan and for a great tour!

Katie was a fantastic tour guide! We received thorough biking instructions before setting out on a wonderful sight seeing bike ride. Picture taking was a plus and she knew all the best spots for photos!

Had an absolutely fantastic time! Caitlin, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Exploring the city streets and the island was a unique and memorable experience. Even my 3-year-old niece had a blast in the child seat. The morning weather was ideal, and the reduced traffic made the ride even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a fantastic morning with Kaitlyn as our guide, who took some excellent photos of us as a family cycling together. The islands were a beautiful tranquil contrast to the busy city. It's a lovely way to spend a morning which both adults and kids (13&10) enjoyed

I really loved this tour. It was so nice to get out of the city and the crowds for the morning. The biking was easy and Mariana was lovely. I did the 8:30 tour and we had the islands to ourselves. And the views of Toronto across the water were spectacular.

Had a wonderful morning cycling along the paths on the Toronto Islands with our very knowledgeable and friendly guide, Ryan. We started with a very easy and safe cycle through the city to get to the ferry terminal, and after a short boat ride we arrived at the islands. My son and I were blown away with the beauty of the islands and their wonderful small community of inhabitants. Snow covered beaches and freezing winds made for a truly Canadian experience. Ryan supplied us with some fantastically warm gloves, and a few snacks to keep us going. A great few hours spent exploring a beautiful part of the city. Highly recommended.

Thank you for a great experience! We are not frequent cyclists but the pace of this tour was perfect for our family and our host made the sightseeing really interesting. Well timed stops (restrooms were signposted) and informative stories meant we weren’t fatigued and got to see parts of the city we may have missed on foot. Our friendly and knowledgeable host took photos of us at key landmarks (even lying on the ground to take in the height of the CN Tower!) Highly recommended as a way to get your bearings in Toronto and you don’t have to be super fit :)

This was magnificent!! So much fun; extraordinary views, beautiful natural landscapes, Lake Ontario, quiet and peaceful. No traffic other than service vehicles. Smooth ride with a few hills. Great guide in Diana! I learned a lot about the area. Diana is very warm and reassuring. I felt I was in competent hands. It was also nice to ride over to the ferry terminal; got a chance to see a bit of the city and to experience cycling the busy streets of Toronto. I will say I was a bit nervous about that, but it felt very safe with the bike lanes, traffic signals specifically for cyclists and really polite drivers. The ferry ride was an additional bonus. Short and beautiful. I highly recommend this excursion. I would do it again.

The signs/directions for the meeting location could be improved. Diana, as our guide, was fantastic. She shared interesting information about Toronto and the islands, took photos, and made the tour fun.

Loved it! We did this the very first morning of our trip and it really helped us get “the lay of the land” and get oriented to the city. The tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. There were many things we would have never learned about Toronto had we not taken the tour. You also get to see so many key places. (We did the Downtown tour) The bikes have padded comfy seats. They provide water and a snack if you need one. The meet up spot is in a parking garage and we felt a little unsure at first, but there are signs that are easy to follow, just trust. Great experience! I appreciate that they take photos for you as well.

Best bikes I have ever used. Sensiblly designed routes. Capable and friendly guides. Proper level of exercise and fun ride. It is good to see the city from a cool point of view. Two wishes are, for the guide to be more cheerful; for the city to continue improving bike friendliness.

I highly recommend this tour! It's been a while since I was last on a bicycle, and I had never ridden on the street. However, Juliana's instructions before the tour was helpful, and both her and Terrence looked out for our safety while we were on the road. Terrence shared very interesting history about the Islands during the tour. I was riding with my toddler and we both enjoyed the trip. It's definitely going on the list of my top Toronto experiences.

My husband and I did the Heart of Downtown tour with Jeff and had a blast! Cruising around Toronto by bike was a wonderful way to learn about the history and culture of the city. The time flew by and we felt completely safe riding in the city, and the pace of the tour makes it accessible for everyone. Jeff was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. I have recommended this to everyone I know!!

This tour was amazing ! , our guide was Dianna , she is a wonderful , friendly and very patient guide. She was make sure everything went great for us and was very patient with taking quite many pictures of us. and even went for the extra mile to take some videos of me for my Instagram travel Vlog. The tour itself is quite fun and it's a perfect evening activity to do in Toronto.

Amazing tour company! I went for a downtown tour with Terrence and couldn't help myself but to go on the second tour to the island in the evening. Terrence was so well informed as a local, and was the funniest guy to chat with! The photos he took of us all were AMAZING, even when he would just turn around and take an impromptu photo they still turned out great (he clearly has a lot of experience with it!). I would have gone again once I returned to Toronto but did not have the time sadly! Thanks again and again Terrence!

We had a great time with our tourguide Jeff. He was very kind, gave us a lot of explanations and a nice inside about life in Toronto. He also took great pictures of us. We really liked the idea of visiting the city by bicycle. We can really recommend this tour!

My guide was Jeff and he was really knowledgeable about all of our stops. Went out of his way to look up any questions I had that he didn’t know. He even laid on the ground to take a cool pic of me at the CT tower. Very easy ride with a lot of stops and info about Toronto. This was a great tour. Jeff is awesome.

Fantastic cycling tour of the Toronto Islands. Terrence is very knowledgeable about Toronto and the islands and I learned so much about the history of this beautiful spot. The tour was timed perfectly so that we could see the sunset and the beautiful view of the Toronto skyline. I found the bike very comfortable and easy for riding and touring. We did this tour as a girl's night out but I highly recommend this tour for any group.

Terrance and his assistant Juliana provided an excellent bike tour of Toronto this week! We saw many areas we would never have discovered on our own. Terrance knows Toronto so well and with this knowledge and his sense of humor, we shared a wonderful afternoon! We have already recommended Toronto bike tours (Terrance) to others!

I rented a hybrid bike for 24h. Juliana was polite and friendly. They managed to get me a bike last minute (I encourage you to book in advance) and I was really happy with the quality of the bike. Competition will rent you a bike for 60% of the price, but you'll get a bike similar to Toronto bike share's. If you need a real bike, Toronto Bicycle Tours is the way to go.

What a first day in Toronto! My wife and I traveled to Toronto for her 4 day birthday celebration. We decided that seeing this beautiful city on bicycle sounded adventurous and and informative. We booked our tour and had great communications with them about meeting location, arrival time and height of riders. When we arrived we met the two tour guides scheduled to lead our 3.5 hour glorious trip and found bikes set out for us from the questions we answered before hand. The helmets and water were also set up on each bike for our group of ten. Before we departed an extensive safety review was completed and we departed on time. I was amazed at the professional and safe manner that Jim and Keedon lead us through the city, the information was excellent. Both of these men had a very warm and personal side to them and really cared about all of us. I was very sad when this tour came to an end and never had customer service like this before. The bike ride is great for all adults of any age with mostly flat riding and many comfort stops. Thank you Toronto Bike for having these two guys on your staff to serve us well!

We had a bicycle tour on the Toronto Island to celebrate my birthday. It was a fantastic cycling tour. A big thank you to Mina, our tour guide. She was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and super friendly. We learned history of this island, discovered interesting things, and saw many beautiful views. My sister, cousins and I enjoyed this tour so much, especially cycling on the boardwalk. I highly recommend you to try!

What great tour this was. Our tour guide Terrance showed us so many things and told us so much about everything. Bike riding true Toronto was great way to see the city and learn about the city while being active. We would really recommend this tour for everyone.

We had a great city bike tour with Terrence and Lorraine! It was the perfect way to get "the lay of the land" at the beginning of our Toronto long weekend getaway. We learned a ton too!

Did the am Toronto Islands tour and it was A+ the whole way. Bikes were ready to go as soon as we arrived and it’s an easy ride from the office to the ferry. You start early to avoid the crowds, which was a good call considering how long the ferry lines were when we got back. The ferry ride over provides stunning views of downtown Toronto. When we went in May the mask mandate was still in effect on public transportation but you were able to remove them as soon as you got off the ferry. The ride around the island is leisurely with no big hills. There are multiple stops so the guides can tell you stories about the history of the islands. You ride along the boardwalk, through neighborhoods, over a couple of bridges, and past numerous beaches and parks. Terrance and Liam took good care of us. Would gladly recommend them to anyone visiting Toronto.

Absolutely enjoyed the company and content of Toronto Bicycle Tours and Events with Terrence and Marlene! They are both personable and professional! Terrence gave us an informative and infortaining guide to Toronto Islands, with a connection to Toronto’s history. Moreover, his personal experience residing on the island at ten years of age gave the tour surreality! We enjoyed the island beauty, the clothing-optional beach, and encounters with the residential island village that survived govt coerced relocations. Terrence treated us to a special meeting with one of his resident buddies, a retired professor who’s lived on the island for close to three decades. I love bikes; I like touring; I love culture! What more could I have asked for! Thank you for the beautiful memories, Terrence and Marlene

My wife and I visited Toronto to visit a friend for a few days and booked the AM Island Tour. We enjoyed it immensely. Terrence did a wonderful job of keeping us safe, pointing out the sights, and telling wonderful stories about the Islands. The bikes were awesome. Well maintained and comfortable. It was well worth what we paid. I would recommend it for all.

This is by far the best tour we have ever been. Our guide Jim was very knowledgeable about the city, its history and made the whole trip fun for us and at a good pace as well. He encouraged us to explore the city afterwards to with some great lunch recommendations. We will definitely book another one when we come back and you should also too. Thanks again Jim and Toronto Bicycle Tours for planning out and teaching us what Toronto has to offer.

This is the most fun our family has had together in a while. We arrived late but the staff member was extremely friendly and helpful! We rented a hybrid with child seat and a tandem bike. Will be coming back again soon. Everyone had a blast and I personally fell in love with Toronto all over again by biking through the streets and paths. 10/10!

Our evening bike tour of the Toronto Islands was the highlight of our week in Toronto. Our guides, Jim and May were professional, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and fun. The bikes were meticulously maintained, and they made sure we were 100% comfortable on the bikes as well as traveling along the streets and back pathways of a busy international city. As teachers, my travel companion and I really appreciated the history and trivia that was part of the tour. We loved that we were encouraged to interact by asking and answering questions about what we saw and experienced on the island. I have visited Toronto a dozen times over the past 50 years and had never gone to the islands. I am already planning a return trip with my husband next year so that we can do this tour together, and also add one of the day trips. I highly recommend this trip!

Terrence and Mina are excellent guides, started in the morning with the city tour with Terrence. He is very familiar in the city and shows you nice spots and even he has time to make pictures of you. His enthousiasm makes it you really enjoy the ride. With Mina I did the evening visit of the Island and althought the weather went bad we had a nice time with the group. She was well prepared with drinks , raincoates and light, she guided us on the boat and went to some great picture shots. It was amazing I was able to make this great picture so I will never forget my Toronto visit.

Awesome bike tour of Downtown Toronto. First day in Toronto and this helped cover so many of the sights with useful information throughout. Helps you get your bearings of the city along with a way to see a lot in a shorter amount of time. Always felt safe while cycling and guided well throughout. Jonathan was a great guide too, taking photos and answering questions. Recommended.

I can't say enough about our incredible cycling hosts May and Ricardo on our sunset tour of Toronto Island. Their extensive knowledge of the area and attention to detail, ensuring everyone on the tour enjoyed themselves, was second to none. The team carried ponchos in the event of rain, took pictures for us at every opportunity and ensured snacks and water were at the ready for each rider. Each bike was sized perfectly for each rider, was well-tuned, and featured large padded seats for maximum comfort. I would highly recommend this bike tour to anyone looking to see Toronto from a different perspective. The ride was not overly challenging and gave us the opportunity to meet others on the tour from all parts of the world. Awesome job! We'll be back again.

Jonathan was amazing as a guide, very knowledgeable and kept our group moving while providing ample stopping time and listening to requests. He also made a pretty decent photographer! I am not much of a biker and I can have breathing issues, but this tour was not difficult. The ride, the stops, and the conversations were lovely and I highly recommend this tour.

If you are in Toronto, even if you don’t like cycling, you really should book a bicycle tour with Toronto Bicycle Tours & Events. You will see parts of Toronto that you wouldn’t otherwise see and that in a relative short period of time. Jeffrey is an excellent tour guide with a lot of knowledge about the city and its history. We truly enjoyed it and if we come back we will book a tour again.

I enjoyed my bike tour of Toronto with Toronto Bicycle Tours. Terrence was my tour guide person and he did a great job and had lots of interesting info about Toronto. I like to try to incorporate exercise like walking, biking and hiking into vacations I take and this tour group had great reviews so that's why I chose it. After the bike tour wrapped up I felt like I had enough of a preview of the city to strike out on foot. I was able to enter and tour attractions we had passed/discussed on the bike tour(walked around for another 6 hours!). Sometimes you pay for a tour or attraction and you're like. "That's it?! That totally wasn't worth it!" LOL! This was the OPPOSITE of that! I hope you select this bike tour and enjoy it as I have! Happy Travels!

Wow! We did the Toronto Island AM Tour, it was fantastic. Our Tour Guide's Terrence and Juliana were absolutely amazing. We learned so much about the Toronto Islands, it's such a unique experience to tour the Islands and learn the history behind them! Terrence's knowledge and experiences of the Island throughout his life were excellent, he really brought a new perspective to us about the Islands. The bikes were easy and comfortable to ride and we went over safety before we began. Our 14 and 20 year old sons also loved the tour! We are so happy that we did it! And the views are just breath taking! Take this tour!!!!! #torontobicycletours @torbiketours

Thoroughly enjoyable morning with an informative and interesting guide. Cycling was nice and gentle which I appreciated having not cycled for approximately 20 years. A super way to see the Island and learn some interesting facts about it!

Thanks Toronto Bicycle Tours and to Ryan our guide. Together with my other half, we booked the Twilight Tour and despite some earlier bad weather the tour was one of our highlights of our stay in Toronto. If you are not an expert cyclist then this tour is a must. Very easy to cycle routes, ferry ride to the islands and spectacular views of Toronto city as the sun went down. Truly amazing. Ryan, our terrific guide, looked after our small group and gave great commentary about life on the islands, landmarks, ghost stories and Toronto history. We even got to see one of the local Beavers that live on the island! The beaches are amazing and we would never had seen these without this tour. I would truly recommend a bicycle tour with Toronto Bicycle Tours. You do not have to worry as you are fully kitted out with a modern, safe bike, refreshments and PPE. A great way to see the terrific city of Toronto!! Congrats and well done to Ryan and the team and thank you for a great evening out!

It was an amazing tour! We did the Downtown Tour in the morning (Jeff) and the Island tour in the evening (Diana). Both were very nice and told us a lot about the verious highlights and historic backgrounds. It is a perfect tour to start your visit of Toronto; so you have a good overview of the sights. The ride with the bicycle is quite easy to manage - everything is flat anyway.

A very informative and friendly tour. The island tour is such a wonderful contrast to Toronto city - ferry ride, beach, greenery, very easy cycling and no cars- delightful! And our guide Mariana, was superb. A great way to see an aspect of Toronto life that is uniquely different…. Including the nude bathing!
