I highly recommend Crab Appletree Medical if you want to be treated like your an annoyance. I got hit by a car (in my wheelchair - I am disabled) and I went to Crab Apple Medical for treatment and they said their schedule is Morning (no walk-ins); Afternoon (3:30 PM appointments only). How is this a walk-in clinic. I promise you you will get more compassion from your Metro grocery cashier. I am betting my money on the grocery cashier.

Website informed me it was a good time to go because it wasn’t busy. So I went there to get a tetanus shot and they were already closed. Receptionist informed me they don’t update the information online. The whole time the guy answered my questions (β€œDo you know where I could go for a shot” and stuff like that) like I was a nuisance. He told me he wasn’t on the clock anymore, and treated me like I was stupid or was supposed to know everything about the clinic - even though it was my first time there. I never ever leave bad reviews online but this experience made me feel so bad that I had to share it. Never going back there again.

I needed to see a doctor in-person for an urgent matter this morning, and my regular family doctor was unavailable. This clinic opened the earliest, so I called three times to make sure they could see me, but was unable to talk to a real person. The automated phone line instructs you to check the wait times for the in-person walk in clinic and proceed to the clinic - it listed a ten minute wait time, so I went in. After driving to the clinic, paying for parking, and waiting at an unmanned check-in desk for fifteen minutes, a receptionist finally came in and informed me that there were no doctors in-person and that they were only operating telemedicine. Why would you operate an in-person walk in clinic with a desk, receptionist, and a kiosk where the only thing you can do is go in-person to make an appointment for a doctor to call you back? Horrible experience and a waste of my time and money.

Almost every experience I've had with this clinic has been awful, with the most recent one resulting in me being left without a birth control refill I needed for 4 days until my family dr came back from vacation. They go out of their way to make getting an appointment as difficult as possible, and even when you have appointments you can expect to wait over an hour to actually see someone. The sort of place where you're treated like a number and not a person.

An appointment was made 3 days before, and on the day, i was there early hoping to get an earlier Pre-Departure test. With lights on in the clinic, no one was in it. Perhaps i was too early at 1030am. But my appointment was at 12pm, so i waited patient until 12pm. Still throughout the wait there was no one entering the clinic or preparing to attend to patients. General hotline was all you can get from the clinic posters and when called, they couldnt do anything. If this was a franchisee clinic, then it's ruining the brand name. Either that, the reviews are on point with their service and quality of care. One word, horrible. At the point of 12pm i waited 15mins extra just to be sure that someone will come. But even after dialing the hotline, they didnt know why they aren't open. Either someone's cutting slack, or the clinic has closed down. Canada should refrain such clinics to exist that provides such non-existent healthcare to its people. Horribly disappointed of this establishment.

Oh man, talk about greedy. I'm an athlete who needs periodic medical certificates of fitness from doctors as an event requirement. Been getting this from doctors in downtown multiple years at different places and was never charged over 80$. They wanted to charge me 250$, and this is for something that requires no medical test and a 30 second signature. Talk about trying to take advantage of people, so disappointed. Do better! --- Follow up to this - went to another clinic and as I suspected, they did it for 80$.

Judging by the other reviews this place might be a hit or miss, but for me it was great. I walked in during the morning looking for an appointment the same day and the receptionist was kind and helped explain some of the finer details of this clinic. There is a fee / cancelation structure if you're late, but no reimbursement if they're behind schedule. And for this location you can only address 1 issue per walk-in appointment. For scheduled walk-ins I expect there to be a delay, so I wasn't surprised when I was called about 20 minutes after my original time. It was clearly busy. I was seen by a young female doctor who is now my second favourite. Not only was she empathetic and patient, but she was super efficient given the time constraint. I'd have no problem going back if needed.

I chose this clinic because it's close to my home. However, every time I have an appointment, I end up waiting for an hour even if I have booked in advance. Once, I had an appointment but when I arrived, the receptionist informed me that it had been cancelled because the doctor had left early. I was frustrated because I had taken half an hour off work and paid for parking. They should have informed me about the cancellation beforehand. It seems like they don't care about their patients at all, aside from the long wait times.

Doctors here are horrible and some of them have troublesome histories. Virtual care doctors don’t want to help and refer you back to your family doctor. Walk in Doctor is always late despite having an appointment. They say he is taking virtual appointments but when you book an appointment they say he is only seeing patients in person. This clinic is only good for very basic issues.

I was nervous about visiting a doctor as I haven’t been for many years since I lived in the UK. The team were very very welcoming and professional. Doctor Michael Vizal is experienced, professional and to-the-point. He got to the bottom of my issue and made a referral for my back pain. I felt confident that he knew what he was talking about and I was in very safe hands. Thanks Appletree and Thanks Dr Michael Vizal!

Useless to book appointment when you keep on waiting for more than an hour. Please improve your waiting time and make some rational decisions to serve patients with a bit of sympathy

Doctor currently 1:40 behind, and counting. I waited a week for this appointment and called twice to confirm. Im a severely disabled homebound electric wheelchair user and cant physically go to a walk in clinic. I rely on phone doctors but apparently they can squeeze your appointment in with 5 other patients at the same time so they can bill OHIP as many times as possible in 24 hrs

I visited the location and followed the instructions to register at the touch kiosk. Despite my efforts to obtain clear information and guidance, there was a lack of posted instructions and no personnel available for assistance. After waiting for 15 minutes, I ran the desk bell, approached a staff member for clarification and was informed that walk-ins were not being accepted at that time. This was disappointing and disruptive, as I had already paid for parking and followed the instructions to register on the computer, and have been waiting for 20mins by now. The staff's suggestion to return at 3:30 pm for a potential walk-in, and re-register, but I am already here and have registered, I said I was told, yeah I hear you but you still have to do that, by the way we can't guarantee that the doctor when you come back and wait at 3:30pm. This conversation is on all level insane, the quality of healthcare service is absolute disappointing and some doctor practice curle daily disregard for patients' time. I wish one day we get private health so those entitled and disregarding doctors to our time will be out of business.

Had a 5:40pm appointment. Was told it would be over an hour wait when I arrived 10 minutes early .. people in the waiting room had appointments and were all miserably waiting for over an hour. Apparently β€œthe doctor is always late”.. I hope not to have to come back.

I have had two experiences at appletree with Dr. Vizel and they aren't trending upwards. This doctor is so afraid of getting sick that he can't effectively do his job. I knew my throat was infected before I went there and didn't need the genius prognosis from across the room. He touched my tongue with a depressor and threw a prescription at me. I'm glad it was a long wait, at least. I will be getting a second opinion, and if you want to take a risk on this so-called professional, be my guest.

Had the worst experience with Dr . Shivji the walk in dr at this location . I initially had a virtual appointment with apple tree . I was told on the virtual appointment i have to go in person to get this medication . I am hacking up a lung and have the worst headache . Dr shijvi basically told me hes not apple tree so he cant help me . Went home feeling worse than i did coming g in . Avoid this dr at all costs if you want relief . The guy doesnt want to help he only wants to feel like a big man with authority by shutting you down treatembt . ridiculous

Appointment was at 3:36PM on Feb 27th, 2023. It’s 6:06PM and I’ve been receiving the same message - 2 patients ahead of me and wait time is 5-10 mins. Dr. Gnanaraj Shanmugarajah - Please be professional and communicate a reasonable time or cancel rather than keeping me waiting for 3 hours.

Worst experience for a walk in clinic in Toronto. Came at around 3:15 PM, was told the wait for walk-in would be around 45 Mins to an hour. Waited until 4:15 just be told to come back at 5 PM because they are busy due to appointments. Unbelievable waste of time. If the clinic is busy due to appointments, surely they could have known that in the beginning. My suggestion is to find another clinic.

I showed up at noon and a sign was posted that they weren't accepting anymore walk- ins. I was told to come back at 5. I was there at 4:30 pm...first in line. I completed the survey on my phone immediately and registered at the computer. The computer froze as i selected "Done"! I let the nurse know and she said she would let the doc know that i should be first to be seen. I saw ar least 4 people get in ahead of me and the doctor also took a virtual call before me knowing that I was supposed to be next. It doesn't pay to be first in line here!! 😑 UPDATE: After waiting for an hour, plus the half hour at the beginning to be first, I gave up and left! The nurse repeatedly had told me I was next, but in reality, I wasn't. She said that she did not know why and apologized. There was only one doctor...Dr. Shivgi. Very poorly run and unprofessional ....save yourself time and find a different place nearby.. there are many on Lakeshore, and Royal York, and Bloor west Village. I will never go back there!😑

They dont update google on their hours, they are highly understaffed. And my once experience with dr shivji was just him telling me that the solution to my medical problem was change of lifestyle and another blood work in 3 months whereas when i got a second opinion i was actually taken seriously and treated. Will never go back again, dont waste ur time

My regular family dr retired so I started to see Dr Vizel. So far Dr Vizel has been very professional and I like how I can book an appointment online for the afternoon.

Great experience start to finish. Booked an appointment at a different Appletree inadvertently but the receptionist changed the location for me even though fully booked. Very little wait considering I just showed up. Dr was prompt, courteous and on point diagnosis. Thank you!

Was sent here to see a travel doctor, but the clinic has 0 insight into travel vaccination needs and the pharmacy does not carry standard travel vaccinations. They literally googled random websites & asked me if I know what I need.

Yesterday I paid 100$ to see a doctor who literally told me to Google the Diagnosis. Could you get rig of those "Professionals" in your clinic. With such an approach I could give my refferals and tell to the clients to Google the diagnosis if you pay those people. Scam and waste of money. Avoid this spot.
