Beautiful walkway for a walk around. The trail is not that long but you get to enjoy the lake view.

2022 July 4.5★ The lake itself is beautiful and not too deep with the max depth at 17M. While the water can be quite clear best b the shores, there's a lot of vegetation growth in the lake. A lot of people do come here for kayaking, canoeing or stand up paddle. With easy access to the lake via the beach, it's no wonder. If you venture out and look carefully, you might see some pirates. Parking during the summer $4 per hour. If you come before 12 noon, you should be able to find a spot, anytime after you'll have v to press your luck.

I love Wilcox Lake in Richmond Hill. If you go on 404 North, exit Stouffville Road, go west, turn north on Bayview Ave, then you will arrive at the Park in five minutes on your left hand side. There are ample free parking spaces. The park is beautiful, with clean pathway for a casual walk on the waterfront promenade of 10 to 15 minutes, and with some benches for sitting or reading a book. You could also enjoy sea breeze in summer. The park has amenities of a splash pad and a playground for family activities. The only thing the park lacks is a decent washroom. I try not to use the mobile washrooms if possible. This is the area the City of Richmond Hill should look at. Overall rating: 4.70 (because of no proper washroom).

Small lake in the middle of the neighborhood, might be difficult to find a parking during summer time, however there is another public parking at the adjacent Oak Ridges Community Centre. There is a training centre for those wanting take kayaking classes, nice walking area along the east side of the lake.

Beautiful and well maintained park. Splash park and kids playground look very fun and there are many picnic tables with umbrellas and covered shelter for parents. Small park taking about 30min to slowly walk around from the canoe club to the rec centre and back. Huge downside is $7/hr for parking

Perfect place for one day picnic. Calm water, splash pads, park for kids, sitting area...all at one place. You can have long walks around the lake and can view sunset from the bridge. There is Canoeing club where you can rents boats. Parking can be challanging. You can reach early in the day and avail the parking. Park has enough space for organizing birthday parties. Besides splash pad, there is a sitting area along with hotdog stall and ice cream truck. Best place for all seasons except extreme winter days.

This lake one of best places to go for a walk or bringing kids, as well as seniors as it has accessible facilities and trails by wheelchair or electric scooter But beware to pay your parking ASAP, I was handling my parents wheelchairs and forgot to pay, after half an hour came back to pay and saw the ticket!

Very well maintained and beautiful place for the whole family, my kids loved it , the only downside was the parking was way to expensive 7$ for 1 hour , which is more expensive than most park in Toronto, bluffers park is only 6$ for the whole day ( paid parking only after 5 pm) went on a weekday so not much people, and whoever said parking is free , I don’t know where they parked or which park they went , but definitely it’s not free but very expensive for a park

Wilcox Lake is an excellent destination for paddleboarding and other unmotorized boats. It's a fantastic spot for summer activities like swimming, offering a refreshing escape. In the winter, the frozen lake transforms into a wonderful ice skating rink. The variety of activities throughout the seasons makes Wilcox Lake a top choice for outdoor enthusiasts. The serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings provide an ideal setting for enjoying nature and recreational pursuits. Highly recommended!

Awesome large park with a lake (swimming not recommended), you can rent/bring your own cayaks. Area with picnic table, kids playground, awesome splash pad area, a walking bridge over the lake. Free parking for residents, 2/hr for non residents. So glad I discovered this place, great for everyone!

Beautiful at sunset, it actually has a view spot for it. Clean park and clean washrooms, lots of benches with umbrellas to enjoy the sun and shade, a clean splash pad for kids and a sun bathing area close to splash pad for parents 🏖a bicycle area🚲🚲 but you need to watch for pedestrians there might be hotdog and ice cream vendors but not sure if all the time, the only ridiculous thing about this place is the parking fee.

This is a small local lake, good for water sports. Paid monitored parking - make sure to pay because they will ticket you. Bring your kayak, SUP, canoe and have a great time! Trail and beach are small, not for hiking or beach day.

This is the best park if you want to pay $7/hr parking, even when there is nobody in the parking lot. It's also the best if you enjoy being restricted to having fun. Sure there's a splash pad, but that's about it. Otherwise you will be met with a lot of mosquitos and dog poop. BBQ? No way Jose. Rollerblading? That's a ticket. Any potential for fun? Hit the road buddy!

We just drove around; we got invited for a picnic on Canada Day 2020. The moment we got there we saw how crowded it is and not single one is wearing a mask and social distancing is not followed due to the crowd. So we just left. It is a very nice place, can't wait to go back once COVID-19 the global pandemic is totally gone.

It is a lovely park in all seasons but particularly beautiful in summer with the light shining off the water and the ducks and canoes. It has a great walking track/ board walk and lots of spots to stop and just take in the tranquility of the lake. It has a super tiny beach fit for toddlers , a great park and decent parking.

(Translated by Google) A place I like very much, with complete functions, grass barbecue area, children’s play area, boating, treading water, viewing bridges, etc., which satisfied all my wishes. The place is not big but very clean. It is enough to take the baby for a walk and have afternoon tea. It's a great place, it's worth going again (Original)

The place is good for a day trip...u can picnic there(no barbeque allowed),canoe, kayak. The place has a very nice park as well. But for the pandemic times it's too crowded on weekends.so avoid for safety. The water of the lake smells of slime though. But for a sunny day great place. A plus: Great place to watch sunset ,munch on some donuts and a cup of warm coffee☺️

This is a nicely decorated park with a lake. There is a small boardwalk which gives you a beautiful lake view. This park has a kids friendly space that would be perfect for the family. But the trail is small. Overall it is nice summer place for a short visit. Note- Parking is NOT FREE! We had to pay $4 for 1 hour only, which was the minimum fees- IMO this was a bit expensive considering the parking time limit and scope of this place :)
