Holiday Inn Toronto Int'l Airport Having made the decision to relocate to New Brunswick I chose to spend my last night in Toronto At this hotel on the airport strip I'd called earlier in the day to ask if My request could be accommodated They assured me they had plenty of rooms To come when I was ready The process was seamless, the staff pleasant They were happy to assist me with all my luggage When I was ready to head to my room Once settled, I wandered down to the restaurant Where I had the most interesting interaction I personally don't watch the news Unaware I had to carry my vaccination documentation With me to the restaurant The employee who runs the restaurant Approached me after I sat down Asking to see my vaccination status When I responded and told him I'd left it in my room He asked me to go get it and return At which time he'd be happy to serve me I personally didn't have an issue fulfilling his request The other patrons in the restaurant though As I got up to leave & depart Treated me as if I was the biggest criminal Using colourful language to mock & intimidate me When it really wasn't their business to interfere The restaurant employee I had interacted with Has been at this restaurant for over 25 years In the same position of preparing & serving food He felt extremely bad with how the other guests Had treated me & personally came to my room To apologize and offer to make me food He went out of his way to make the situation right He went out of his way to ensure I was looked after To the executive staff at Holiday Inn Who manage this employee It's because of him that' I'm writing this review This man needs to be acknowledged For providing the utmost in customer service During these unprecedented times

Did a Park/Sleep/Fly deal here the night before our vacation and left the car parked here for the week while we were gone. Check-in was a little slower than I would have liked, but I realize it was because they were being very thorough with what I needed to know. Maybe could have used another person at the check-in counter. The rooms were nice enough for what we needed, and we had adjoining rooms which was nice. Shuttle service to and from the airport went off without a hitch, just be aware that the shuttles can fill up quickly and are on a first come first serve basis (not reserved). Driver didn't give us a hand with our luggage, which is fine, but if you're going to need help with your luggage this might not be the right service for you. Lots of covered parking, and we didn't have a problem finding a couple of spaces.

I stayed here for a solo trip the night before flying. Overall I would recommend it for a night of convenience near the airport! The king bed was super comfortable with nice quality pillows and linens. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. The heat / air con was super easy to control which I really valued as I hate being too hot in hotels. I also liked that the TV had full cable options. The only slight con is there was a sort of buzzing noise at night - perhaps from the fridge or central air, but it didn't hinder my experience - I would stay again.

Noise all night, people rattling my doorknob, walls are super thin. I heard both of my neighbours, one late into the evening just talking and using the bathroom, the other very early preparing to leave for a flight. I did not sleep at all. The room itself was fine. There were scratches/chips in some of the furniture but the bed was comfortable. The conference services and food service for the conference was excellent. One restaurant on site with great staff but overrun and the location makes it difficult to go anywhere else. Very close to the airport.

We stayed for only one night. My husband was flying out of Pearson the next morning. The proximity to the airport and the easy access to the 427 can’t be beat. I can’t comment on the restaurant because we didn’t eat there. We were in a King room. The bed was comfortable and I loved the heated bathroom floors. There was no charging station on my side of the bed ( only on my husband’s side) and no microwave in the room. There was a fridge and a coffee maker however. I didn’t have any contact with staff so I can’t comment. It was an average hotel experience and I would definitely stay again if flying out of Pearson. The airport shuttle starts early which is a bonus.

Great service, food was amazing, staff was super nice. Our room was very clean but the bathroom shower walls were not. They could have been cleaner as there were some sort of liquid stains on them. Overall I would go back anytime. We had a small issue with breakfast buffet but manager of the Bistro YYZ was really nice and fixed the issue.

The hotel is 12 floors, and one lower level. It is very close to the airport in case you want a taxi instead. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport that runs twice an hour every half hour, it may run a little late depending on the people boarding and offboarding. Pay close attention to the address advertised either on the side of the windshield or front side glass on the shuttle, as there are multiple Holiday Inns in Toronto and two are on Dixon Road. Only one is called Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport specifically, this one. The hotel lobby is clean and brightly lit. There is an ATM tucked into the corner to your left when you go through the doors on arrival. There are two separate check in and check out lines, one for IHG members and another for non-members, though both are along the same countertop spread. If there is an available agent, a non-member will be seen to by the IHG workstation personnel. There are multiple elevators. Four beyond the lobby, two each on the wall and the next two parallel. Keep checking all four because one could be the lucky door opening that reaches the lobby level. There are stairs a little after the elevators. They have a section of public computers and a small convenience store that opens at 8 a.m. on weekdays, though I'm unsure of the weekend times. After both, they have a nice restaurant. There's no room service, but if you are mobile you can attend to the restaurant and order and they will bag your order and you can eat it in your room. They do have onsite spa services. Their conference room is large and airy, brightly lit. Excellent meals for breakfast and lunch. Staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly for business and personal trip guests. I was wearing very casual clothes and they treated me just the same as any. The hotel room was wonderful. It was so clean and smelled it too. I have been to other big hotel chains and their rooms have smelled musty and funky. My room had a coffee station (complementary, and you can get free coffee pods and cream from the front desk), a closet with an iron and ironing board, one dresser, a desk, a floating TV, and a small cute area for eating by the window, as well as a bedside table with a single drawer. The bathroom had heated tiles and a hairdryer. There are dispensers available, Dove products. Two at the large sink, one for body lotion and the other for handwash soap. The shower had three, one for shampoo, conditioner, and the other body wash. You can use these without charge. Pretty much you only need to bring your toothbrush and toothpaste! The beds are extremely comfortable, and the blankets are warm. The mattresses are tightly secured. There are no bed bugs in my room. I couldn't see how there could be with how tightly layered the mattresses were. I couldn't even get the mattress covers off. I'm delicate and sensitive to any bug bites and I woke up with no bites and no itchy skin, so my bed sheets were super clean. The carpets left no residue on my white socks as other big hotels have, I didn't need my slippers. The cleaner staff are thorough! The room is soundproof because I didn't hear either room on either side. Only the doors outside opening and closing somewhat because you can't soundproof a door. I have only experienced a wonderful time here with the room, the staff, the food, the store, and the shuttle, and the short time was great. I would return again! A++++

We rented a room with Points @ the Holiday Inn Toronto, 970 Dixon Rd, and what we thought it was a bargain turned out to be an infeststion of bed bugs, we checked in 7p we were out of the Hotel @ 1145p when we discovered bed bugs in both beds, we saw them crawling when we lifted the pillows up.i had several bites on my neck/abdomen/legs. Informed the Hotel attendance and she wanted us to wait for a Manager...but just the feeling of those bed bugs made us leave the property. Came to the airport fast to just wait for flight at 6 am We told the receptionist to have manager call us and he never called ! Upsetting that they don’t care to know what happened and to make up for the horrible experience we had We also saw they were housing refugees and they were sitting on floor all along the hallway and making alot of noise. Not acceptable

Check in was quick and painless, the clerk was fantastic The room was hard to find. It was tucked away around a corner well away from where it "should" have been, Think 123 not being next to 121 or across from 122/124. Granted, there was an added feeling of seclusion which I liked, and the view across to the airport was nice. Got to watch a few planes come and go which was fun The main light fixture worked but was only just hanging on to the ceiling. The bathroom had a non-locking pocket door which is fine for one person but a lock would be nice if you desire extra privacy. The bathroom floor has an always-on heated floor, or at least it very much feels like one. The laminate in the rest of the room was very chilly on the feet by comparison. The switch for the bathroom light was in a weird spot but not the end of the world. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was non-functional. The shower and sink worked as expected, no complaints The bed was quite comfortable and the assortment of pillows gave plenty of options. There was a larger sconce and a smaller reading light affixed on each side of the headboard, both sconces worked but the reading lights didn't. Not a big deal to me but I know some people might care Worth noting is that the thermostat/climate control unit needs to be switched to "auto" as well as "off" otherwise it will keep blowing either hot or cold air, even when set to "off" Overall, it's a nice spot and I'm willing to believe my room may be an anomaly in what I mentioned. I wouldn't outright avoid this hotel, but other options could offer more bang for your buck

This hotel is a comfortable place to call home while travelling. Close to the Toronto Pearson International Airport, it offers complimentary shuttle services to and from the airport. The room is standard, beds are comfortable and offers a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. There is also a nice big pool on the premises and our 8 year old couldn't get enough of it. There is a restaurant that offers meals including breakfast, but the prices are so crazy that I recommend going somewhere else for meals. Overall a great place to stay, and not too far away from the activities that Toronto has to offer, with cheaper rates than hotels downtown.

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This website will compare countless booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you won't be let down. Staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant does a decent breakfast. They serve food the rest of the day too. The pool was a good size with steps in plus towels and a shower. It’s on the ground floor so it’s best to bring a bathrobe with you as the hotel only supplies towels. There’s a snack bar area and vending machines at check-in.

We ate at the Bistro YYZ and can only say after eating across the world the Pad Thai gets 5 stars with fresh ingredients! The lobster dip was also incredible. Don’t be shy thinking hotel restaurants may not measure up. Price was good and Amy with her big smile and recommendation for her favourites did not disappoint. Great service clean and inviting rooms and quick to and from the airport! I would not hesitate to re- book here.

Disgusting. we arrived very late after getting in from vacation. The shuttle was on time, however the driver was in his phone and hit a curb so hard I thought the tire popped. Our family was split into 3 different floors. All I can say is if my little one hadn't already fallen asleep, and it wasn't 230 am we would have left. The filth of the room was unfathomable. Public hair in the shower, someones hair clips still in the shower, there was filth in the soap tray in the shower that had likely been building there for months, mold on the bathroom ceiling. The microwave looked like something out of a frat house. Pulled the sheets back and I'm certain they were never changed Long strands of hair in the bed, what appeared to be either fecal matter or blood in the sheets. Absolutely filthy. The only plus was we got to park our car there for the week. Never again.

Room is plenty sufficient, for stay overs or extended stays. Clean and well equipped. Service is friendly and outgoing. Had an issue with our room, but before I had the opportunity to call the front desk, they had reached enquiry if we were happy with the room. Upon hearing about the issue, the on duty manager contacted us quickly, met us in the room and knowing the staff could not correct immediately, arranged for a new room. The staff delivered keys for new room and were prepto assist our moving. Very close to airport with frequent shuttles to and from the airport.

The room service at Holiday Inn exceeded expectations in every aspect. And especially (< Mrs Ping >) Room cleaning **Overall Rating:* 5 Stars **Review:** 1. **Cleanliness:** The overall cleanliness of the room was satisfactory. The bed linens were fresh and neatly made, and the floors appeared to be vacuumed. However, there were a few noticeable dust particles on the furniture surfaces. 2. **Attention to Detail:** The cleaning staff demonstrated decent attention to detail. The room was generally tidy, with no clutter left behind. However, there were some missed spots in terms of dusting, particularly on the bedside tables and desk. 3. **Bathroom Cleanliness:** The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The toilet, sink, and shower were all spotless, and the provided towels were neatly arranged. The amenities provided were also restocked promptly. 4. **Odor:** The room had a neutral odor, which was neither unpleasant nor particularly refreshing. It would have been nice to have a hint of freshness upon entering the room. 5. **Additional Amenities:** The hotel provided standard toiletries and towels, all of which were clean and of good quality. However, there were no additional amenities such as robes or slippers provided in the room. 6. **Staff Interaction:** I did not have any specific interactions with the staff regarding room cleanliness, but check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and staff seemed attentive to guest needs. **Overall Impression:* I would still recommend this hotel to others for its convenient location and decent cleanliness standards. offered a diverse range of delicious options, from breakfast classics to gourmet dinners. Orders were delivered promptly, and the presentation of the food was impeccable. The staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive to special requests. Overall, a delightful dining experience that enhanced the comfort and convenience of our stay. Highly recommended for those seeking top-notch room service during their travels. And Mrs Ping Room cleaning service is so good ,

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in the area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you won't regret it. The staff were fantastic. From start to finish our interactions with hotel staff were extremely professional, friendly, accommodating and efficient. Although we only stayed one night, we were impressed to find that multiple staff went above and beyond

Visited the hotel with my graduate class for our final presentations, luncheon and graduation ceremony over two days. Checking in was odd since they couldn’t find me and acted like it was a big deal initially. The room was nice and the bathroom had a heated floor which was fantastic. The bed was mediocre, as expected for a mid level airport hotel. Food was decent but they forced us to order from their kitchen despite it being an Indigenous event… which felt, questionable but I’m clearly bias. I understand why they do it but I don’t like it. Everyone loved the pool. Only complaint was the only place to smoke privately is all the way around the building and if you need to get back in your room after check out time (if you forget something) you have to go to the front desk because your card stops working, don’t like that at all.

I stayed 3 nights. Picked it because it's really close to the airport. Check in was ok... but from the start, I did not get the room I called for earlier and the phones didn't work. They changed it. There is no room service. You have to go down to the restaurant to eat. The food was good though but the little inconvenience of not having room service. Could hear every sound from the hallway and next room. If you are really keen on absolute silence... you may not get it here. It's a good place to stay though regardless.

The company I work for has hosted their annual meeting at this location for the past 2-years and plans on returning in 2024. The service is impeccable, the meeting room was set up perfectly for our needs, the Banquet Manager Ayush checked in several times each day to make sure that our needs were being met.(We had no problems everything was as it should be) The meeting room buffet style food was way above average for this type of venue (anyone who has been to small meetings where the meals are served in the room will understand what I mean) The buffet table was first class, lots of food well prepared and served at the temperature it should be served at. The guest rooms were clean and in great shape, in fact I live about 3 hours from the airport and use this location throughout the year for early morning flights. All and all a fantastic experience once again. Thank you Ruchika and Lucy for making me look good to my volunteer Board and Members.

This hotel is next to Toronto Pearson international airport. Rooms are very spacious with comfortable bed but no so great view. Yes! location is good because it's next to airport. Convenient for those who want to stay/park/fly. Some rooms have microwave, majority don't have. Washing machine area facility is also provided by the hotel. If you are staying here descent breakfast you will find in the morning. Worth staying in this hotel. Recommended

I wish there was a lower rating. I do not recommend at all. Power and water outage. Very retarded way of dealing with the issue. You take a hotel to make your trip and stay comfortable. The staff was clueless. They blamed it on the city but everything around the hotel was working fine Including the traffic lights. I do not recommend this hotel!!! something to stay away from!!!!

  • 1/5 G S. 6 months ago on Google
Power outage in the hotel early morning and no backup plan for basic services such water or landline for room service or front desk. All the elevators went down except one. You have to come down to lower level to use washrooms from one elevator as everyone was rushing out. Stuck there for hours and finally decided to check out. Didn’t get refund either.

No free Parking and parking will cost 28$/night.Break fast not included and cost you 25$ /per.For a hotel with price range of 250-300$/night is weird that parking at least for the guest not free when a great parking lots asides available. Location is nearby airport but accessibility to/from toronto need GPS which I found not not very easy place for accessibility. Airplane Noise can heard in the rooms so not very quite nights.

My stay at this hotel was horrible. My friends and I stayed for 2 nights. On the first night, our room was affected by a selective power outage that lasted from dinner time (we left for dinner when there was power, and came back around 7:30 to no power) until the early hours in the morning. We asked to move rooms, but no one would honour that request. Thankfully we had power when we woke up, but during the evening of the second night, we noticed it was warm in the room and wanted to sleep in a cooler temperature. This lead to the discovery of broken Air Conditioning, which was confirmed by a maintenance worker. We were told, at 11pm that night, that we would hear from a manager about our options such as changing rooms. This would not have been ideal, but better than sleeping a second night in a warm, stuffy, and humid room. We never got a call or had the situation handled any further. At check out, after explaining the details of our stay, we had our first night and our on-site parking compensated. We were charged for the second night, which I do not believe should have occurred as the services from the hotel we were paying for, were not met. We will not be staying at this Holiday Inn or other Holiday Inns again.

The moment I checked in it was a headache, I got to sit as they had other people to check in. So I sat and then the guy came around and asked everyone else but me if I was checking in and no one else was. I waited 45 minutes and the same guy came to me saying he had check in everyone else and it was my turn while I watch him not check in anyone but rather talk to his co workers. Got to the room and the room is still dirty so they changed my room they put me way in the corner overviewing a parking garage. The wifi barely works there keeps cutting off and room seems empty. The only thing good I can say about the room is that th washroom floor is heated but as soon as you walk out the rest of floor is freezing. Tried the bistro restaurant in the hotel and food is alright for what you pay for alchool drinks are pricy. Service was great the server slab bartender was on top of everything and always filled your glass, note I was at the bar so can not describe the service in the dining room. They have a market to buy stuff like pop and snacks a bit overpriced in fact it's a bit more pricy than airport prices.

This hotel is basic, but it works. My issue is that I had asked them to email me my folio and they didn't, which is fine. I called to get it sent to me and I actually had to call back 3 times and 2 of the 3 people I spoke to in "Customer Service" were incredibly rude. Stay here if you must/need to - lower your expectations. The restaurant and bar staff is awesome though!

Excellent experience, a quick 1 night stay after a late flight. Booked a room with king bed as a solo traveller in transit. Highlights included the complimentary airport shuttle service and breakfast. Bed was extremely comfortable and front desk was very pleasant. Though the price was a bit higher than neighbouring hotels, it was worth the extra spend for the reliability and conveniences. Would definitely stay again!

This hotel is very close to the airport and the shuttles all run, and at the right time. (Not the case for all the airport hotels!) 10 minutes to Terminal 1 and less to Terminal 3. I arrived 6 hrs late at 1am, without my bag. Toothbrush and toothpaste offered, along with some sympathy! Will stay again.

Been to this great hotel for the past five years. As someone with extensive experience in the service industry, it's disheartening to encounter subpar service. During my recent visit with five guests, we faced challenges right from our arrival. Unfortunately, the assistance from the front door staff, particularly Mr. Mike, was notably lacking. His remark, 'They can carry it upstairs themselves,' to multiple small bags we had, was both surprising and unhelpful, especially when we were in need of a hotel dolly. However, I would like to extend my gratitude to Karan, who admirably remedied the situation. Karan's professionalism and calm demeanor were highly appreciated and demonstrated the level of service I have come to expect at this hotel.Thank you for calming me down. This experience highlights a need for better staff training at the Holiday Inn Toronto Mississauga. Long tenure in a role does not inherently equate to quality service. A more proactive approach in assisting guests, rather than suggesting they wait or fend for themselves, is essential. What a joke!!

Excellent Park, Stay and Fly, prior to flying out of Terminal A. Car was left for 8 days in covered garage, felt safe and nice not to have to clean snow off it upon return. Room was clean and quiet, staff friendly. Bathroom was tiny, but had amenities so we didn’t have to unpack our own. Will stay here for future flights. Shuttle to the airport ran every 30 minutes from the hotel, and the shuttle driver was so friendly and kind! The only complaint was the angry, rude shuttle driver who picked us up from the terminal after a 40 minute wait, who literally threw suitcases off his shuttle upon arrival to Holiday Inn and didn’t help carry them on, unlike our previous driver. Won’t be letting his bad day affect the rating!

Convenient and clean. Was only there long enough to sleep but shuttle to and from airport was reliably efficient and ran every half hour 24 hours a day. Good for those that end up with unexpected overnight stays. Drivers we're very helpful and Staff was welcoming.

Stayed here 1night for an early flight the next morning. We had a very good dinner at The Bistro in the hotel. I recommend the nachos. Great service too! The room was average and clean. It's an noisy environment tho due to traffic. For a 1 night stay it was good.

Great location, shuttle service from the airport (6 minute drive), great & clean amenities (we used both pool and gym). Breakfast is decent and relatively varied. Rooms are not completely soundproof, but very clean, shower water pressure and temperature is amazing. Great for a short stay if you're flying out nearby.

Excellent people on staff! Our family enjoyed a night away from home. We used the pool and had it to ourselves most of the time. Room was clean and had great view of airport. Kids loved watching airplanes taking off and landing. The workmanship on the updates is a bit poor but was fine based on price point. Bathroom is worst part of room. Short showers and short countertops for sink. Overall 4/5 experience.

Old hotel that has been renovated. Not too bad. Clean and comfy beds. Parking was 28.00 for the night. Total rip off. Would not book here again.

The hotel is clean, modern and up to date. It was a quick overnight sleep, which we arrive after 1am to be greeted by front desk who was professional and courteous. The bed was big, so comfortable and had fresh crisp linens. Nothing that I noticed in disrepair in the room. In room coffee machine which is great to have for the morning. The lobby had a nice atmosphere with couches and TV while you wait for others or the airport shuttle. Speaking of which, the airport shuttle is convenient and runs every 30 mins. The bus we caught overnight to get to the hotel seemed a little run down as there were water stains on the ceiling and the driver didn't park in the designated hotel shuttle spot at terminal 3 and we almost missed it.

Upon arrival I was informed that I would have to pay an additional fee for my room as the rate had risen since my "booking". Ended up being an additional 100 dollars. On top of this while waiting for my friend in the lobby I went to grab a snack from there small market and half of it was expired. My car was also damaged in the parking lot. If you need a place to leave your car at or spend a night I would highly recommend another hotel as the price here after arriving may raise.

The hotel was quite nice, staff are very clearly busy, but they were not rude to us and were accommodating when we needed extra toothbrushes. The room was clean, the air conditioner worked. The floors are starting to be in need of a renovation. The Bistro food was good, and relatively reasonably priced given inflation.

We had a connecting flight to the US canceled and opted to go through immigration and stay at the holiday Inn express and they were the bright spot in an otherwise miserable time in Toronto. We were able to walk in and get a room at 1130pm from a very pleasant concerierge. They thankfully had a hotel bar that was open for another hour, which we needed after the time we spent at Pearson airport. I unfortunately made the mistake of leaving my phone in the lobby as I was leaving but the staff was very helpful in its recovery. They called my brother to notify him that they had my phone and all I had to do was email the shipping label to them, they took care of the rest. I also was very surprised at how comfortable the beds were. As someone with chronic back pain I often find it difficult sleeping at hotels but found myself fairly pain free after a night on their bed. All in all I appreciate the friendly staff, comfortable beds, and the bar being open until 1am and would definitely return.

Stay here for one night. It was nothing fancy but just a place to rest for the night. We stayed here because the rooms were cheaper than being close to downtown which is where our event was so we just took an Uber there and back which was about a 30 minute ride due to the massive amount of traffic heading that way. There is no free parking here but I'm not sure where that does exist in Toronto anyway, so parking for one night cost us $28. Other than that it was a good stay.

Shuttle to hotel.. where they temporarily lost our reservation. Kinda sad since it was for a Diamond Elite member . That's a member whom has stayed in hotel brand over 70 times. So we know what to expect... Lost stars due to the complimentary breakfast is only given to the points collector...and not the registered guest with them. If the room was paid for by cash... They would of given a $22.00 breakfast buffet free.. first time we ran into this . The breakfast was your typical hotel fare, muffins, mildly warm scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon.... Etc . As we have stayed here before.. we choose to walk 4 minutes to another restaurant. So great location to hit other restaurants. Although the bar had nice nachos when we arrived midday.. . However... We had a great view.

Some of the front desk staff here are not the friendliest. They are either having an attitude problem or just plain lazy. Their manager named Serg, and that bald guy with glasses are very unpleasant to interact with. The reception is always busy for people checking in as it is a fairly large hotel. They have only a few staff to help the people in line. The lady who checked me in was nice though. The housekeeping staff however, are very kind and friendly. Other than that, this hotel is clean and comfortable.

Place was pretty rundown. It looked like the hallway carpets hadn’t been vacuumed for a month. The shuttle service from the airport is confusing. There are two holiday inns by the airport served by two different shuttle companies. We were dropped at the wrong hotel. The breakfast buffet is overpriced for what you get. Even though it’s convenient to the airport we won’t be staying here again.

Our rooms were spacious except for the bathroom which really needs to have the door open from the outside as it’s awkward trying to get into the tiny bathroom and shut the door. The building is older but the rooms have been refreshed. The first time we were here we were in the disabled room and the bathroom was very spacious, the shower and seat were very handy and well placed. The only issue was trying to get my daughters wheelchair over the threshold. They use Dove products for hand wash, shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser. Beds are super comfy. All in all a nice stay.

Poor customer service. Shady employees. Run down hotel. Loud AC. Bedsheets were not clean. Expired coffee creamer in the room. If you have an early flight, they will not let you grab some breakfast a few minutes before their breakfast hour 6:30am. This is the only Holiday Inn I stayed at that did not let you do that, even when you had paid for the breakfast with hotel booking. And being their rewards member doesn't really do much. None of the staff I spoke to were welcoming or friendly. The checking out experience was just as bad. The employees English was barely understandable. Another staff lies about their breakfast hours, pointing me to a sign with yesterdays date. Even though my room rate already includes breakfast, they added a separate hst for the breakfast to my final invoice. Different hotel here have different way of adding their long list of taxes. Overall a very bad experience. It’s experiences like this that leaves visitors a bad impression of Toronto. It also seems that many immigrants that moved here haven’t really learned Canadians friendliness and honesty. They are still acting like as though they are in their home country. It often feels like you are visiting a third world country when visiting.

We attended a dental conference at this location a few weeks ago. We didn't stay overnight so I can't comment on the rooms, unfortunately. However, the event attended was very well run, the food, snacks and drinks provided were delicious. Many options available to please any dietary preference. The staff were top notch! Always pleasant and professional. Washrooms were clean and well stocked. We enjoyed a couple drinks at the end of the day in the hotel bar. The service was great, liquor, beer and wine options were plentiful. Drinks were a bit pricier but that's usual for a hotel bar. We have already decided that we will stay overnight next year and check out the rooms. The location was perfect and very easy to get to.

Honestly one of the most Hospitable experiences we have ever had at a Hotel in this area. Service desk was so helpful polite and made everything easy. We had dinner in the Bistro (In house Restaurant) excellent food. Our server was one of the best we have ever had. Jarved entertained our son. Guy was amazing. Can’t say enough great things about this location. Parking is great Location is great. Shuttle service on time and quick. We will only Stay Here for any trips we take. Thank You to this Staff & Management Team. They got it right here

The room was very clean and well appointed. The conference room and reception room was awesome. Staff were great. I do have to send a special shout out to the food and beverage team who worked Wednesday and Thursday at the knowledge expo. The food choices were excellent very tasty. Lots of options. The staff were very attentive and did a great job, helping such a large group. I did get a moment to speak with the food and beverage manager at the time and told him just how happy I was with the service. Great work folks.

I don’t like giving bad reviews. However, at a recent stay due to flight problems, the air conditioner in my room didn’t work. To be honest, it was too late to call down and ask to change rooms. If that was the only thing then I wouldn’t comment. However, we also had some charges on our bill I had questions about. The phone system would cycle me back to the menu then hang up. The front desk people would route me to people that wouldn’t call me back. I’m stubborn. After two weeks of calling, I finally reached a person that could help. That’s pretty ridiculous.

I was visiting the area for the weekend, and I am so glad I stayed here for the weekend. Nicholas was so helpful with providing information getting around the city and recommended some good spots. I did not have much baggage but he was also helping me grab my stuff. The hotel is very nice and clean as well.

The room was okay, my main issue was that I had to go to 9 different floors just to be able to get a bottle of water. Front desk said every floor had a functioning vending machine, which turned out to be a lie. Only floor 3's machine worked at the time.

Family of 3 and we had the most amazing stay here at the Holiday Inn International. Free airport shuttle which meant we could use it if we wanted to catch the train to the city and back, hassle free. (Note to self; the shuttle is on the ground floor outside terminal 1, R3) The staff were super friendly and kind. We loved the room, spacious enough to rest before moving to our next location.

I booked this hotel through IHG Rewards Membership on the phone and was told (because I explicitly asked if they charged more for dogs) as it is pet friendly, NO. I had the rep double check. No, no extra fees. Then upon arrival I was told there was an $85 dollar fee. I also had a Corporate Rate which they denied. I asked for explanation and they said they couldn’t find it. A room that should have been under $250 cost me $500! I have reached out to multiple customer service representatives and they keep telling me they can do nothing. This was a family emergency. It took me nearly a week to get my invoice!! I will never stay here again. I will also be speaking with my colleagues letting them know. We have other corporate partners who will probably have much better service. I was left feeling like they did not care about my experience whatsoever. A lot of shoulder shrugging and well too bad attitudes. I am updating my review after speaking to a wonderful person at the actual hotel! I do feel that my experience is a one off possibly due to the high traffic of the time frame I stayed. Thank you 😊 for your care and attention to my experience!

Although the rooms were NOT visited, lobby ambience, main floor bar are any indication, the hotel must have good rooms. The conference hall where our venue was was specious, well lit and clean. Service staff was efficient and organized. Food was of excellent quality. Conveniently located near the International airport. Ample parking including plenty for physically challenged guests.

Had a great stay at Holiday Inn International Airport. Service at Reception was efficient and friendly. The waitress in the evening in the restaurant was courteous, pleasant and very accommodating. The maid Thelma cleaned our room early and it was so clean and inviting. A great experience. Because we were stranded in the room for two days because of a snowstorm at our final destination, the quality of service and the Courteous and pleasant staff turned a negative experience into a positive one. Kudos!

I was staying with my husband last week and everything was really good rooms were nice and food was also good at the restaurant. I would like to appreciate the customer service at the reception of Deepak, he made our experience so good. He took our check-in which was so smooth, had a very broad smile on his face. He provided us everything we wanted and loved the place. Would like to visit again on our next visit. Highly recommended place to stay near the airport.
