My friends and I had a private booking to make custom jewellery for my bachelorette, and all of the employees were so kind and patient with us all! Fran was our instructor and she was very helpful and so sweet! I would definitely recommend Anice for a unique, fun bachelorette activity with all your friends!! To top it off I now have my own customized ‘something blue’ bracelet that I designed to wear on my wedding day💙💎 Thank you so much for the lovely experience😊

First of all I am very pleased with the professionalism of the store owner Britt when it comes to designing and the final product. I will say though they need to improve their logistics and customer service. Make sure you follow up with them closely to ensure you get what you want as they did lose my engraving request details and even my phone number so they ended up following up with me via email without admitting they lost my engraving details at first. I do appreciate they tried their best to help me retrieving the order and chasing up the engraving work for me. Again make sure you follow up closely with them especially if you have a tight deadline. Edit: I do want to point out that I received an email asking me to confirm the engraving details to which I replied that whatever that was put in on the system would be good because I don’t have the details with me. I got a further email asking me to “confirm” the details and in a 3rd email I was asked what initias I wanted to engrave and was if I still wanted the “Helvetica light” font that I had requested which was not even close to what I had discussed and confirmed with Britt during our appointment. It was not until I told the staff that Britt mentioned she would send me an email with the engraving details but I didn’t think I had actually received it (or I might have deleted which I don’t think I had) then the staff was able to retrieve the engraving details from this particular email in their draft box (or not but that was what I believed I was told). So I do wanna point out that it is this particular experience that had led me to believe they had lost my engraving details somewhat during the process. Also staff asked for my phone number when I called them after 3 rounds of email exchange regarding the engraving details which also kind of shocked me as they did call me on my phone prior to the appointment and also I sent them a text message from my phone upon arriving for the appointment so they should have my phone at that point. Again, lovely store, lovely designer, beautiful ring. Just a little feedback on what went wrong that had resulted in this rating.

I took the day off work yesterday in order to visit Anice Jewellery to purchase a necklace and pendant for myself. I was super excited about my visit as I've had a great experience in the past, but this time around I received customer service that left much to be desired. When I entered the store, I was greeted warmly which I really appreciated, and I mentioned to the staff that I wanted to buy a necklace. The staff was very helpful in pointing me to the right direction. But once two other ladies entered the store after me, the staff turned their attention to only attending to them and I was completely forgotten. They did not ask if I needed help, or if I had questions. Not having received a body language cue or verbal communication from the staff, I tried to get their attention by standing next to the other two ladies, but that didn't seem to work (even though I was in their plain view). They seemed to be so focused on helping these two ladies that they had forgotten that I was also in the store. When I asked for their help with trying on a necklace, they seemed annoyed at the prospect of having to stop what they were doing to assist me. I returned the necklace and milled about for a few minutes longer before leaving, feeling frustrated and disappointed because I really wanted to buy something but I was not enjoying my experience. It was even more disappointing when I compared how differently this staff interacted with the two ladies with how they treated me. I acknowledge that they are only one person and can only reasonably attend to one thing at a time and I was happy to wait if it was communicated to me that I should, but it was bizarre to me, especially with Anice being a bespoke jewellery store, that they would be ok with providing this level of customer service. No customer wants to have to feel neglected, but this is what I unfortunately experienced at Anice Jewellery.

Terrible customer service for custom orders. They sized my finger for the custom ring I wanted done, and when I came in to try on the ring it was not my size. I dealt with 5 different employees who told me different things about my order in terms of price, when it would be ready, the whole process, and each employee told me different things. I also had to hassle them every week just to see what exactly was happening with my order. I ended up cancelling it as I was fed up. 0/10 would NOT recommend.

Gorgeous pieces, attention to detail, the dreamiest wrapping for your beautiful items, incredible customer service, they have it all!! Came across this place when walking around in Ossington and ended up ordering three pieces from them, to say that they didn’t disappoint is an understatement! So HAPPY with my purchase and with this place ❤️

My husband had my engagement ring custom made through Anice. Unfortunately it was not the best experience. He had provided a design of what I wanted and provided a deposit as they required. However, he didn't even get to see a mock-up or the design before it was sent for production. The stones we're much larger than the picture we provided and so was the band. I wanted a dainty ring, not a flashy, attention grabbing piece of jewelry. I ended up with a big honking design that we paid far too much for. They insisted on a thicker ring. The ring is beautiful, but just not what we wanted and now we are stuck with it. In addition to the negative custom experience, when I returned the ring for the complimentary resizing, I was told there was chips on the stones. I was extremely shocked to hear this as the ring had been too big for me so I had barely worn it. After communications back and forth, Brittany had offered to replace these complimentary after we decided we did not want to pay for the fix. This was done because she was feeling generous for the holidays, not because they offer any sort of warranty. One of the stones that was replaced started getting cloudy and yellowish within a month of replacement and now looks ugly compared to the rest of them. I used to love Anice jewelery when it was in Kensington. I would go in all the time and bought several affordable and lovely pieces for loved ones previously. That is why I sent my husband there for my engagement ring. I love the back story of the shop and admired Brittany for her entrepreneurship. Now it seems their products are overpriced and though their new spot is beautiful, I can't help but feel a bit of a pretentious vibe going inside. I don't even wear my expensive engagement ring as it is not what I wanted, the yellow stone bugs me and I am scared I will damage it from the slightest wear and tear. I am heartbroken that we are stuck with this expensive ring that I am not happy with as a token of our love and commitment. Update - We met with Brittany at Anice yesterday. We have now started from scratch to ensure we have a beautiful piece that truly represents our love. Brittany was very understanding of the situation and their hick-ups in the process and has ensured their proceedures have been improved since 2018 to now include both a design and wax mock-up for custom pieces before production. I greatly respect Brittany's approach to rectify the situation and we are looking forward to production of our modified and new engagement ring. 😊

Had a lovely experience taking a friendship bracelet making workshop with for a friends birthday. The ambiance of the shop is beautiful and Fran our instructor was so patient and kind as we all learned new things. What a lovely way to spend some quality time and make a keepsake along the way! 10/10 would recco.

This spot is truly a gem (pun fully intended). I've had only wonderful experiences with their customer service - during the height of the pandemic I ordered a few stacking rings online and the wrong sizes were sent to me. I messaged them and told them I could easily come in and exchange them, but instead the manager of the store came directly to my apartment and hand delivered me the right ones, which was above and beyond my expectations. And I was just in store this weekend and had a lovely experience with Janine (I hope I'm spelling that right) - she mentioned she was new at the store but she was so confident and knowledgeable, and she was a joy to deal with. My friend and I both purchased some rings and we're now just waiting on them to be made. I know I'll be back in future, can't wait for my next Anice treasure!

Visited the Wellington location where the staff were friendly and the store decor was beautiful. However, I do have some issues with my visit. Initially, I laid out a necklace and two charms (a leaf and a circle), which were confirmed to be a certain price all together. Once the set was made I was able to try it on and after viewing it on me I decided I no longer liked the leaf charm. When I asked if it was possible to remove it and match the remaining circle charm with a different one, I was told it would be no problem. Eventually, I proceeded to purchase the single chain and just the circle charm. I expected the price to be reduced as I was now only buying a chain and one charm, which was the same charm from the initial consult. However, I was billed the same price mentioned earlier for a chain and two charms. When asked for clarification around why it was the same price when I no longer wanted two charms, I was told it was due to the labour costs. Yet, my friends who accompanied me actually had their charms swapped and also altered, but the price they paid did not reflect any changes. While I do like the charm, I'm really frustrated about what happened regarding the pricing. There is a lingering disappoinment about it. If there is a labour cost/fee for trying on different charms I would have preferred to have it communicated to me beforehand rather than being blindsided during checkout. In the future I also hope there will be a standard process for every customer and how they are billed.

I went to the introductory jewelry making workshop a couple of Sunday’s ago and had a great time. The workshop is held upstairs and the space is cozy. There was group of 7-8 of us - it was a group of us that had not all hung out together in a while - and it was a lot of fun. You’re able to bring your own drinks, including alcohol so we made mimosas. :) They also provide some small snacks - mini muffins, some candy etc. There were 4-5 people working, helping a total of about 17-18 of us so the staff-to-guest ratio was great. It was pretty crowded and quite difficult to try and pick the beads, pendants or chains that you wanted to use for your necklace or bracelet but the staff was very helpful. The only thing I have a bit of issue with was that it was advertised as also, a stamping workshop and the jewelry stamping was an afterthought. It was only acknowledged when one of the people that I was with asked about it. The pricing of the pieces was pretty steep as well, with my bracelet coming to $70 in materials, on top of the class price I had paid. This was overpriced to me, and being in the $30-40 range would have been more than reasonable and I’m sure they would’ve still made a massive profit on the materials. This seems to be the major consensus among us all, the cost of materials was beyond jacked up. Also, I ended up asking one of the staff to put my bracelet together. I didn’t want to pay $70, have me put the piece together and it come out looking like amateur garbage. Also, there is legitimately not enough time for a novice to put anything together. All-in-all a great lead up to a girls’ Sunday brunch on the Ossington strip. Worth a try, for sure!

I will unfortunately not be returning to Anice Jewellery in the future due to a shockingly terrible and unpleasant experience with the store owner. Here’s what happened. I was initially excited about an in person Mother’s Day jewellery making workshop that I had booked back in May for my mom, my sister and I. I unfortunately had to cancel my booking the next day and had assumed that I would not be charged the workshop fee as I had cancelled my appointment well in advance of the workshop date. After receiving a cancellation confirmation email, I continued to receive email reminders about the upcoming workshop appointment and even got a call on the day of the workshop from a store associate asking if I was still planning to attend - I was very confused. I told the store associate that I had cancelled the appointment a week ago and had assumed that they were made aware of the cancellation. To my surprise, I noticed that I was still charged the $150 workshop fee on my credit card statement at the end of the month. After several days of calling with no answer I was finally able to get in touch with the store owner and explained the situation, hoping to resolve what I assumed was a mistake or a glitch on their booking website. She was extremely aggressive, condescending, and completely unwilling to see where I was coming from. What is the point of providing an option to cancel my appointment in advance if I wasn’t going to get my money back, receive a store credit or be provided with an opportunity to reschedule to another workshop at a later date? It was only then after contacting the store that I was told that workshop fees are non refundable and was denied the option to reschedule for a later date - contradicting the store’s own policy on rescheduling. The issue I had with cancelling or rescheduling the workshop with plenty of notice could easily have been avoided with proper communication. After reading some of the other reviews here, at least I know I’m not the only one who has been blindsided by unexpected charges and miscommunication.

Great jewelry making course here $35 for the course and pay for your materials. My materials worked out as $70 but it was so worth it. Staff were super helpful (particularly Willow, who went out of her way to ensure we knew what we were doing) and the space is inspiring!

Came here with friends for my bachelorette! Couldn’t recommend this enough. Britt is so cute and we all connected immediately. She spoiled us with with champagne, snacks, good tunes, and so many laughs. We all made the most beautiful and meaningful jewelry. Britt helped me design my wedding necklace and for that alone, I couldn’t thank her enough. This was an amazing, intentional experience and definitely the highlight of our entire trip in Toronto. When is this place open? The store is closed almost everytime I walk past it to go to Mandy's and formulae fig on Ossington. I would really like to shop here someday. Also, my partner and I booked a zoom consultation for our wedding bands here and nobody showed up to the zoom meeting. I am convinced this is a money laundering front. Made You Look a couple of blocks away was much more helpful.

Britt & her team have transformed and brought back to life so many of my cherished family heirloom jewelry pieces. I love their new appointment set up, it makes me feel taken care of and I am not being rushed (like I would've if I had gone somewhere else). I was originally so excited about this place. Went to their Prince Edward County location on a weekend away. Spent a while in the store and had a great interaction with their owner. I purchased a simple custom stamped gold necklace and it was put on me before I left. As soon as I got home I noticed the stamping did not match my request and was missing a numeral. I followed up and was told I would receive a replacement piece, to which I responded I was more than happy to have the original corrected. Since then crickets. I have followed up a few times with no answer. No replacement or correction has been provided and no response from this business.

WONDERFUL! We celebrated a bachelorette at Anice and we could not have asked for a better experience! The staff is so kind, knowledgeable and creative - they directed us, were patient (there were 14 of us and we are noisy and drinking champagne!) and they helped us create pieces of jewellery we loved. My necklace is stunning and came out to only $28! Highly recommend booking for a large group activity for a special experience :)

I absolutely love this jewelry store, the theme of the owners Grandmother (Anice) running through the store is really beautiful, the brand logo is actually her signature 🥰 I have purchased items from their branded line and have also had older jewelry of mine reimagined into beautiful new pieces that I thought I could never wear again. The last two times I was in, a lovely lady named Sachelle helped me with my items. I was very happy with my service both times. This little shop gets busy though so visit when you have some time because they are always packed on the weekends! Love Anice!

I had dropped of a diamond stud earring and a spare diamond. I asked that the spare diamond be matched in the setting I dropped off. I paid $226 for half an earring and when I received it the backings were completely different. I spoke to the employee S. about this and she said for an additional $40, they could get me a backing to match. Wow. That was the whole purpose of paying the original cost. Disappointing, I wont be coming back. Zero integrity. How can a customer be treated this way?

Booked a “Your Design” jewellery workshop for a small bachelorette and it was absolutely amazing. We had so much fun making our own pieces and the bride was able to make a necklace for her wedding which matched the earrings she already had. The collection of pieces in the treasure drawers was so bountiful and allowed for so much creativity. It was a wonderful experience.

Not even sure where to begin with how much I love this place! Welcoming, lovely, professional, expert team of people working on high quality, one of a kind jewellery creations. I adore this place! I went in late one Saturday morning with three bracelets that needed fixing. Only one of said bracelets was originally made at Anice. Within an hour, Margarita fixed all three! The people who work here are so friendly, empathetic and honest. Their products are absolutely gorgeous, too! I highly recommend.

The staff helped me design a necklace over the phone and email and shipped it to Calgary. They were so friendly and I really appreciated how often they promptly communicated with me on every step of the design and process. I love my necklace and would absolutely work with them again in the future.

Probably the only jewelery store you'll need. Not only are the design great, my wife loves everything in there. But if what you're trying on isn't prefect for you they will make adjustments to the piece (add to it, remove from it, lengthen, shorten..). Also, the entire staff is helpful and talented.

I stopped in during my Christmas shopping search and I honestly wonder why I've never done so before. This is a quaint little store that is filled with whimsy and really thoughtful service. Unlike other boutique jewelry places, there is not pretentious attitude and the price point go from very reasonable for the cute items to whatever your mind can imagine. Anice is found on the popular Ossington strip where you'll find the hottest restaurants. It is tucked away from the sidewalk but look for the words of "Old Treasures. New Love" and you've found the place! I love the atmosphere... antique luxury is how I would easily describe it. You'll find delicate necklaces with all varieties of trickets or pendents, beautiful stacked rings to create your own personal colour scheme, or even design your own piece. There's a never ending possibility of creating a deeply personal piece that means something. I really do have to admire how Anice curated such a great boutique and it sounds like they do offer DIY workshops as well. So for all those who are interested in making your own, it'd be a great stop to check out too.

I went to Anice looking for a birthday gift for a friend and was delightfully surprised by all the one of a kind jewellery. The store is so cute and feels almost magical. The girls who worked there were really helpful and attentive. I found a great necklace but wanted a few things changed (I wanted the beads changed to a colour my friend likes) and they offered to change it on the spot! Super helpful.
