Love this place. My parents have been going for ages, so it’s tradition to buy our jewellery from here. Purchased our wedding bands here a few years ago and Liberal doesn’t disappoint - wide variety of gorgeous pieces to suit every taste. Went yesterday along with my sister to pick up a beautiful necklace and St. Anthony pendant for my son. Gold is always incredible quality, and fair pricing. However, the icing on the cake for all of us is the customer service. The family running this business truly cares about their clientele and go above and beyond to ensure customers are happy. I started going to Liberal Jewellery the last few years on recommendation from a work colleague, and have not looked back since. I've bought quite a few beautiful Portuguese gold pieces since my 1st visit and continue to enjoy the pieces on a regular basis. In particular I often receive compliments about my Portuguese gold bracelet I wear every day. The staff are amazing and provide quick, knowledgeable and fast service, but most importantly are so kind and personable and treat you like they have known you forever and are a part of their family. I will contact them about a piece of jewellery over Instagram and within a very short time will get a response back if not within minutes. They were also super accomodating during the pandemic lockdown or partial lockdown and were amazing to deal with,while of course following pandemic guidelines/protocols. I have bought and will continue to buy gifts for friends and family from Liberal as well, they carry unique, traditional, and stylish jewellery in all price points, whether made in Italy or Portugal etc. In fact the worst thing about going into the store, is always seeing what new pieces they have and adding it to my list of future things to buy. We got my wedding band from here and couldn't have had a better experience. Kim and her mom and sister were all so kind, knowledgable, and helpful throughout the entire process. Initially, we were planning to purchase both mine and my fiancé's bands, but my fiance's father unexpectedly gifted him his own wedding ring. Kim never made us feel bad for backing out of buying a new ring for my fiancé. Instead she was very supportive and explained the process of resizing. They even polished my engagement ring each time we came in, and polished some of my late mother-in-law's jewelry. What we appreciated the most was that they never looked down on us or assumed we weren't serious customers. This happens a lot as we both look quite young and I am a POC. They took us seriously, walked us through everything, were never overly pushy, and were just super friendly. I will return here for all of my future jewelry needs!

I have bought a few pieces from this lovely family owned business. When I go in the store I feel like they know me and their customer service, eye for detail and selection of pieces in unparalleled. They were patient with me as I chose earrings and bracelets. Their commitment is quality is excellent. I already have my eye in my next purchase.

This is hands-down my favourite jewellery spot! My family and I have bought countless pieces from this boutique, both in-person and through their online shop. The staff is incredible, they answer Insta DM enquiries, send you photos, they did virtual tours of their shop during lockdown and if you go in person, you will never feel pressured to purchase something! They have a lot of the traditional Portuguese/Italian gold pieces that we love (such as baptism gifts, medallions and crosses) but they have lovely modern pieces too! I received a multi colour mati bracelet, I’ve purchased a rose-stone bracelet and I have my children’s initial pedants for my necklace! Lastly their price ranges really offer something for everyone; the cheapest item I’ve bought from them was $49 and believe me that the quality makes it seem alot higher in value. I highly recommend shopping here the next time you need jewellery and investing in this family run business rather than giving your money to giant corporations for items that do not last for the same price. You will not be disappointed !

The Liberal family has been a part of the Portuguese Community for many many years. This is where I purchased my husbands engagement ring in 1977. Mr. Liberal was an amazing and kind hearted individual. Miss knowing that he is behind the counter, but wish his family continued success.

The customer service here is absolutely amazing, and extremely helpful. I went in looking for a specific piece of jewelry and one of the woman there went out of her way to try and find it for me.
