My Fiancé took her two-toned (white gold base with yellow gold detailing) ring to be resized and was disappointed with the results. After the ring was returned the bottom of the ring was reduced from 1.5mm to 1.2mm and visibly distorted. I understand that there is some width loss in the buffing process but after seeking the opinion of other jewelers .3mm of loss points to metal being skimmed. Also, the ring had lost nearly all its fine gold detailing. Again, I know this may have been due to the resizing process, but one would think that a reputable jeweler would include replating the loss detailing (even if it came at a cost) rather than returning defaced jewellery.

Covid has really impacted the ability of quality jewellers LTD. to carry out repairs. I dropped off an intricate mechanical stopwatch item in January 2020 and I still have not received it back. Each time I inquired as to the status of the repair, I was told that covid has had a real impact on their ability to complete repairs (both in terms of labour and parts). Several weeks ago I decided that I simply want my property returned to me unrepaired and requested that they return it. (If it’s not fixed 2+ years it will probably never be fixed). I was told I could come in the next week to get it. I really doubted that was true so I gave it an extra week. Went in today and….still not at the shop. So I am STILL waiting for my property to be returned. I do not recommend using quality jewellers for any repairs that are beyond basic.

I personally have not bought jewellery here, but I’ve always get my jewellery fixed through here. Knowing that it’s a reliable and credible place, for my jewellery to be handed over. The staff are highly trained in their expertise and are friendly.

Adding another 5-star review for this local gem. Tony and team are terrific people, expert jewelers, their prices are reasonable (if anything, too reasonable - I keep telling Tony that the neighbourhood wants them to stay open so please charge more!) Most recently, Tony gave great advice on the slight resizing of a ring by using tiny little balls. A week later, the work was done, the ring fits perfectly, and, yet again, the price was too reasonable yay!

My family and family friends, have been customers for decades. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, friendly and honest. This is the only place we trust our repairs with. Fantastic prices on new purchases too. Thank you to Melanie and Tony.

I purchased a necklace with an engraved pendant a few months ago. The pendant broke from the chain and I brought it back to be fixed. I also brought a second necklace that also needed fixing ( purchased from another store). Needless to say they fixed both of my necklaces free of charge. Couldnt believe it. These people are top notch. They genuinely care about their customers and they invest in their customers. While waiting for necklaces to be fixed, I saw the saleswoman go to great lengths to educate another customer about what they had puchased . The dedication and passion was palpable. Easily five star rating. They are the Junction's "hidden gem" in my opinion.

Brought my engagement ring (which was purchased elsewhere) to Quality Jewelers for alterations recently. They listened to my concerns, made several suggestions on how they could be addressed at various price points, and took the time to explain the pros/cons of every option. After discussing with my spouse we decided to have the entire ring recast, and wow did they ever do a wonderful job! It's absolutely stunning, and you can tell that the craftsmanship is very high quality with excellent attention to detail. There was a delay is getting the ring back, as the jeweler had contracted COVID and was unable to work for some time. However, they were communicative and apologetic, and it was only a few weeks. I wont be knocking any stars off for something like that, which is impossible to predict, and I think some other reviews could stand to have a little more patience and consideration when it comes to that sort of thing. Ultimately, Quality Jewelers was both significantly higher quality work and less expensive than our original jeweler, and I'd absolutely recommend them to any of my friends. My spouse also bought a money clip while he was there, which he quite likes.

I lucked out today and met Tony and Melanie when I used google to find a jeweller to replace my Mom's watch battery. What a find! Tony was SO PLEASANT on the phone. I called 10 minutes prior to closing, but Tony said "Don't worry, we'll wait for you". He replaced the battery while I waited, and showed me the package since apparently they use a much higher grade of battery than what I would have gotten at a battery store - and it will last a lot longer. My girlfriend went in to get a necklace repaired and she was extremely happy with the quick and attentive service she received. Ended up doing the repair on the spot for a reasonable price (she brought a replacement chain) and saved her the hassle other jewelers would have given her to send out for repair off site. Great place for repairs and ring sizing. I had to have a ring cut off my finger because my hand was swollen. They repaired and re-sized the ring at a very reasonable price. I had the same thing done a few years prior at another jewellry store and was charged about triple what Quality Jewellers charged me and the workmanship was not as good either.

After reading multiple recommendations, and hearing about the place via local group, I decided to trust Quality Jewellers with sizing of my engagement ring. The service was very nice, and all through the "disaster" this end up being, they never lost their cool and were very professional, which I do appreciate. With that said, I was very disappointed how such a easy thing end up being butchered. When I went to pick up my ring few things were wrong with it: it was sized incorrectly despise notes being taken with my order, gold where the cut was made was much thinner then originally, cut was also visible (very faint, but it was there). I was told that it's common for rings to be tempered, however, mine originally wasn't. Lucky for me, I had photographs of the ring (it was custom made ring) to prove them wrong. Which they apologized for. I was offered free service in order to fix the ring. At the end of the day everything was restored, and my ring is now sized correctly (jeweller suggested to go with even smaller size while they were fixing the mistakes, which end up being a great suggestion at the end of the day), with thickness restored back to the original.

I brought in an old family wedding band and the staff kindly went out of their way to determine when and where it was crafted. The repair on the 100+ year old ring is beautiful, with a fast turnaround and reasonable price. Very helpful and friendly staff.

My fiancé and I bought my engagement ring here, and Melanie was extremely helpful. She did great work and made us a custom ring with a stone that was my mother's. We're thrilled with the result, and it's something I'm more than happy to wear every day.

I had my wife’s engagement ring made here with my grandmothers old ring. Within the first two years two diamonds fell out and were lost. My grandmother carried her ring throughout Europe during WW2, and never as much chipped it. This place did such a bad job two diamonds were lost within two years. Don’t go here if you have any sentimental value of your items. Their work is shoddy at best.
