I went to the store for an exchange and they didn't have any in stock so they said that they were gonna call me once the stock comes in. Its been 2 weeks since then and still no call. So I had to call again today and ask if they had the ring in stock and once again, the staff said that they were gonna call me back. But its been half a day and I still haven't received back from them. Is it so hard to let customers know that there isn't any stock in the store like??? And I've been trying to get that item on hold, and my receipt is gonna expire soon. So idk what's going on here

My 91 year old neighbour had a watch repaired, She had dropped off in early January 2021. She was very concerned that she would not be able to get her watch back as we were now in May 2021. I phoned the store on behalf of my neighbour and spoke to the owner. He offered to drop it off to her apartment on his way home. I would say that is going way above normal for service. Thank you so much for helping her out. In these Covid times, with so much negativity, it is heart warming to see kindness extended to a client. I will definitely keep you in mind for any of my jewellery requirements in the future.

I am working with Mark Mani who is special ordering me a MIDO watch which is not available for sale here in the US. Mark is very intelligent and so customer friendly. I emailed a bunch of Canadian jewelry shops asking if they could obtain this watch for me which is sold exclusively in Canada. None responded except Mark who immediately answered that he would be happy to help. He researched the item at night even though he was done working for the day and ordered it within 12 hours of “meeting me” and obtaining my 50% deposit. Mark couldn’t have been nicer to me and I cannot thank him enough. He worked with me even though he didn’t know me and I’m in a different country. What a great shop. Wish it was in the states. My watch will arrive in 3 weeks. Thank you very, very much Mark for helping me. Mani Jewelers is phenomenal. I’m 69 and have purchased many items in my life obviously. ​ If you have something of value to be repaired, DO NOT bring it here. My experience with this jeweller dates back to January 2016, when I brought my Tag Heuer Kirium watch in for a crown repair. Mani convinced me to do a full servicing as well, which I agreed to do ($400). This was a huge mistake. And because of it, the problems I have with my watch continue to this day (March 2018). While the crown was fixed properly after my initial visit, I had to return several times because the watch was running either slow or fast. In August 2016, during a swim, water flooded the watch, causing damage to the interior dial. Upon investigation, a broken gasket was found which should have been replaced during the servicing. He replaced the dial - to his credit - but since that time I have taken it back several times because It continues to run slow/fast, well outside the specifications for a Chronometer. It now runs slow again. I’ve given up and will have to fork out another $400 and take it to TAG to be looked at properly. I would like to point out that I have never had any previous issues with this watch in the almost 20 years I have owned it. Now, every time I look at it, I can’t help but wonder if there is still something gravely wrong with it after getting it serviced here. It has huge sentimental significance too, which makes it all the worse. Go elsewhere. There are plenty of options downtown.

Asked JP for a quote to size a watch and was quoted $10 then after he saw the brand(which they don't carry) it all of a sudden doubled to $20. I called a boutique who carries this brand and they offered to size it for free so I asked for my watch back from JP. They refused and held my watch hostage. It's a small amount relative to the price of the watch but this just didn't sit well with me. One way to destroy a future customer relationship.
