    Had a terrible experience of their salesperson Owen. I bought a $20k bracelet for my wife and we asked him about the durability prior the purchase. He said grey mother of pearl is very durable which can be wear during shower, and can be easily cleaned. We bought the bracelet after his suggestion, turn out you not even suppose to get any water on it. The mother of pearl was blurred as hell only after few times of wearing. We went back to him to get it cleaned which of course did not work out. He said the bracelet was just like this when we bought it. We went back to the shop again and ask the manager Rita and Afeliya who are very helpful on this case. They brought it back to the repair shop and return us the full amount of store credit. In the meantime Owen still denied that he was giving us the wrong information and blamed us for giving him the hard time. Please try hard to avoid buying from this guy Owen, who is very unprofessional, untrained and knows pretty much nothing about jewelry.

    Our SA was Michelle No, very knowledgeable, great advice and service. No pressure and pleasant shopping experience. Their drinks offered are great, at least something is cheap there! Been back a few times, experience remains to be top notch! I give them 9/10!

    Went to the boutique on Sunday afternoon with my husband in mid Nov. We made the appointment a day prior to go. The boutique assigned Owen Li as our SA. The rose gold sweet Alhambra necklace which I was interested to purchase. When the he took it out, it was all tangled and I saw he pulled it so hard to untangled. The way the piece was being treated very carelessly. At the end I said I want make the purchase. Owen insisted this is the only piece available and gave the attitude either you take this price or you get nothing. He shows no eager to help to provide further assistance until my husband asked him few times to place the order online for us. In addition to this, Owen does not even provide chocolate and ask for drinks. Like honestly everyone had a bad day. If Owen was suffering on something that day he should have to take a personal day. But since Owen chose to stay at the boutique to work then we as client would expect you Owen to being professional and provide customer service. Later on, I found out the packaging has changed through my friend. Apparently Yorkdale boutique is considered the pioneer store to participate this packaging changing rollout program. That was quite shocking and Owen never informed me about this when placing the order. As being this transitional period, client should have right to pick using the traditional package or being part of this testing roll out program. I would strongly suggest avoid this SA. Owen doesn't care about client or maintain customer relationships at all.

    MADE APPOINTMENT ONLINE OR WITH SA BEFORE YOU COME Abbey is nice, patient and helpful. I was looking for the new September 5 motifs or the spring bracelet, unfortunately they were out of stock. I don’t think Toronto has as much stock as the Boston store. But Abbey still showed me many other choices, without pressure. Ended up bought a necklace. General experience is very nice. Even though I was not buying any on that day, she still showed me many wedding bands.

    The gunshot locked us in the lounge of the shop for 4 hours. The staffs were nice. They locked the door immediately, turned off the lights, closed off the curtain, kept giving us updates, offered to charge our phones, offered us seats while they stood, offered us water. All of these made the 4-hour waiting not too hard to bear. Thanks so much for all of you!

    Beautiful store and very friendly staff. I came in to resize my wedding band that I got a couple years ago. Owen assisted us, he was very knowledgeable and patient, he explained to us how VCA resize their products, and followed up with us on the engravings throughout the whole process. My ring came back looking brand new, and it only cost $250; it’s definitely a brand that stands behind their work. We will definitely come back for more!

    I've been here twice. once last year and once yesterday. I didn't felt welcomed for both experience. first time, SA was not very patient (probably thinking I cannot afford). second time was a very awkward experience. So for both time, I walked out of VCA and went straight to Cartier instead. I'll never go back to this store and neither purchase anything from VCA

    HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH SA YAO! Needs proper training in sales, manners and basic communication skills. I purchased a bracelet and ring on the same day This was supposed to be an amazing experience, especially if you’re spending upwards of $20,000 The whole time he seemed like he was in a rush, and every time I wanted to try a certain piece he was reluctant to go find it. He even tried to tell me that one of the pieces I already reserved over the phone and eventually bought was not there. Even my friend had to chime in and say we came all the way here today to pick it up Why won’t you find them for us? Then he eventually looked again and found it. Why leave a sour taste in a clients mouth when you can be polite and potentially have a vip client who spends spends spends! Management take note! I’m a regular at the place Vendome boutique and my SA David is amazing there. Have never been treated like this. Even after the sale no smile. No thank you. Nothing! Avoid this Salesperson at all costs

    Went there few times to try the rose gold sweet Alhambra necklace. First SA probably thinks I can not afford it so he was be very impatient and careless. Second and third SAs were also the same. And they are all Chinese. Avoid all the Chinese SAs. They are all very ignorant and arrogant. Worse customer service. Plus the store manager just choose to ignore and not to improve anything. I hope this boutique can get a new store manager and replace all SAs.

    Came in today with a friend with the intention to buy a necklace, never in my life I’ve experienced such bad customer service from Owen especially as someone’s that’s a returning customer, he seemed extremely hesitant on helping us and didn’t look like he wanted to help us find anything, felt like he was bothered with us, took the time to read the reviews as well to see if there was the same reoccurring problem with the same sales associate, not the type of person to leave bad reviews either but felt super uncomfortable and was not a pleasant experience. Save the trip and don’t come to this location ..

    My mom and I had a lovely shopping experience at Van Cleef. Owen did a wonderful job assisting my mom while she picked the perfect pair of earrings. He took time to explain the different jewelry pieces and stones, adjusted the fit of the earrings to ensure they fit my mom perfectly and cleaned our current pieces. We enjoyed a coffee, water and chocolates while we waited and had a lovely time. Thank you for a great experience Owen. We’ll be back soon.

    My mom and I went to shop for a new piece for my mom and from the moment we entered the store, we had a wonderful experience. Jennifer, our SA, was AMAZING! She was so kind, patient and explained the pieces to us with so much depth. She did not rush us to buy - rather made sure we made the right decision. Thank you so much, Jennifer!     Pearl is so sweet, she placed what I needed on the side until I made it to the boutique ! However, the lady who processed the transaction made us feel so awkward, she made few body gestures which weren’t very pleasant! She also brought few other pieces to show and try on, but ended up taking back the tray without even considering showing them to us! I was maybe going to add a bracelet with the necklace I purchased but again her gesture and body language were so awkward! Bottom line, the experience, the store, and Pearl were amazing! I was just a little disappointed by the way we were treated by the person processing the transaction!

    Fiancé had a bad experience here looking for necklaces that she wanted as an engagement gift. My fiancé came in here not knowing too much about the necklaces, so expected the sales person to give suggestions or recommendations based on her preferences. However, the sales lady looks down you and corrects you in a demeaning way if you don’t know about the type of necklaces. Expected more from a higher establishment.

    Trying to buy the wedding band here. I understand that not all sizes are available and it takes time to order, however Pearl Yang never answer the phone call. Besides, contacted online customer service, they told us Yorkdale has the stock but then Yorkdale said there is nothing available. Overall, horrible experience. I guess they only serve you when you buy expensive pieces.

    Had a fantastic time at Van Cleef in Yorkdale! Jennifer was incredibly helpful while I was browsing around. She patiently showed me all the beautiful jewelry, including the high-end pieces.     I Went there to see the actual necklace and try on me . The sa was kind but somehow gave me an uncomfortable feeling. The necklace chain was a bit short on me and looked like a choker, so I told her it is short and she replied that this necklace was made for children (customer at the van cleef and arpels are so wealthy that they want to provide their children an expensive jewelry, that is what the sa from that store said). I was so embarrassed that I asked for a small stoned necklace . So instead, I went to another store and got a non children's necklace.

    I had the most racist experience at this store today.I went in looking to buy perfume and was so poorly received and I proceed to ask if they had testers and I was told no,Mind you a white lady walked right pass me and was very well received and they proceeded to test a perfume on her.just because I’m a black person dressed up causally don’t mean I can’t afford to buy ur stuff,this was so sickening.Stop Racism

    Throughout university I wore a Van Cleef wristwatch and have been a loyal customer ever since. This location is not as have the same appeal as locations in New York or Miami but still a nice place to shop.

    If you want a pleasant and welcoming experience, go for Abbey at Yorkdale. She’s nice, polite, patient, and she answers all your questions. I’m buying a necklace for my wife and I have asked a lot questions since I want to get the perfect gift for her, Abbey has answered all my questions with detailed answers as well as good patience. I am very happy with her service and I highly recommend her as your go to sales.

    Went with the intention of buying something and the worker was so rude. We asked to look at necklaces and he just kept saying they were sold out and he didn’t seem interested in helping us, and did not let both of us try on a necklace. We wanted to buy matching ones and see how it looks together. Then we just left even though the piece that was sold out for weeks and we wanted was there. Would just rather not give OWEN LI the commission. DO NOT RECOMMEND… the bloor one was better.
