I hope more people who had experience like mine with this company call them out for what they are. Just wanted people to know don't do business with this company they are corrupt, dishonest and liars. My husband ordered a watch from this oris aquis watch July 12th. We keep writing them and calling them leaving them messages. Finally after 10 days they reply. This watch we bought through pay bright was for a wedding on Saturday july 23rd. Today they cancelled the order. Instead of sameh giving me a good reason for not telling me why the watch wasn't shipped he cancelled because I complain about it. If you go to there website gem bijou and search TISSOT T-RACE THOMAS LUTHI 2019 LIMITED Edition you are going to see this watch us in stock online but yet still they cancel my order on pay bright for the TISSOT T-RACE THOMAS LUTHI 2019 LIMITED Edition saying its not in stock. Don't do business with these people they are corrupt, liars and dishonest business dealers.

On March 28 2020, I ordered a black dial Hamilton Khaki Field from Sam (Owner) through Chrono24. When I received the watch, it was defective as the minute hand was bent upwards and so every time the second hand came around it collided with the minute hand and the movement jammed. I reached out to Sam to advised me to send the watch back and that he would issue a refund along with reimbursing me for return shipping. The whole time he was never apologetic and even seemed annoyed and aggressive over the phone. I shipped the watch back and when he received it, I called him and he said that he no longer had any black dial in stock but he could offer me a white dial or a Black PVD version. I took him up on his offer for the white dial but then he said he would no longer be reimbursing me for the $20 return shipping because its a "straight exchange". I'm really confused then as to in what scenario he was agreeing to reimburse me the return shipping then as in a return scenario, he still won't reimburse me. Same passive aggressive and annoyed tone, he said the return is out of his control since its Chrono24 doing the refund. So as of today, I have returned the watch, I have not been reimbursed for the return shipping, I have not received my money back for the watch and I have not been given an option where I am not losing out due to him sending me a broken watch to begin with.

Ordered my first watch from Gem Bijou and I was very happy with the customer service and quality of merchandise. The team at Gem Bijou were more than fair and they sell high quality watches! I strongly recommend visiting their site or store for a great deal. I am looking at ordering my next watch through Gem Bijou soon!

I have purchased two watches from Sam in the last 6 months. Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 80th anniversary, and a Longines Heritage Classic. I only wish I had met him sooner; I have an extensive watch collection and when I met Sam, he got to know me well. Sam is extremely knowledgeable, cares for his customers, and is genuinely a nice person. The customer service is top notch and I HIGHLY recommend Gem Bijou.

Repair itself was good, but the wait time was way longer than promised. When I gave them my necklace to repair, they said it would take 1-2 weeks to complete, and it took over 2 months to get it back to me. They also never called to tell me that my chain was repaired. When I inquired, they said that they called me and left a message - but I had no missed calls from their business, and no voicemails either.

Poor experience personally. I am new to Toronto and wanted to check out this store as I am a very keen watch collector. I phoned the store to see if they were open before heading there, I was told "Well we are here but nothing is on display, what do you want? I said I was hoping to browse their selection but that was apparently impossible. I also emailed them about a specific model and never got a reply... I ended up buying two watches the same day from another downtown store and the service was top notch. If you aren't going to be open when your website says you are, I suggest editing it.

Horrible customer service. My husband purchased a Swarovski necklace set for me and confirmed it with the owner, Sam that he can exchange it in case I didn’t like it. When he took it back to the store, Sam took the necklace back and said that he’s getting new stock so we can pick something new. Since then (more than a year ago), my husband has called numerous times and left messages. He had to call private so Sam would pick up his call and when he did he refused to give us back our money or choose a new set. UPDATE: The owner responded claiming that we ordered a custom ring which we never did. My husband called once to ask the price for a diamond but NEVER placed an order with him. The owner is going against his word and won’t give us back our money or what we actually paid for. There are plenty of other better and honourable jewelry stores in Toronto that I would recommend.

Found this Seiko that is hard to find and sold out at most places. I was skeptical purchasing from an online-only jeweler but the watch arrived fast and well-packed, authentic and brand new. Reason for 3 stars is their customer service. I tried contacting them by e-mail and phone to resolve a shipping issue but got no response. Otherwise I would purchase again from this store if they had better customer service.

I’ve always admired and enjoyed learning about watches. For a long time I wanted to begin collecting, but didn’t know where to start, as I didn’t want to break the bank while also not missing out on quality. My first mechanical watch was the Seiko SBCD091 Alpinist, which is JDM version of the SPB121J1, jumpstarting my collection and let me tell you I fell in love. Today I went into Gem bijou and bought my Seiko SPB119J1 Alpinist. It was an amazing experience. I will definitely be purchasing from them again, as they were honest, very knowledgeable and provided outstanding service, extending even after my purchase. Not to mention they have large selections of beautiful watches with great prices, so for all scouring the internet for the right place to go online or in store, this is it!!!

I ordered a watch for my daughter on july 20th. They canceled my order without telling me. On friday july 21st, I emailed them to ask why they canceled it. They answered within minutes. I emailed them back to know when I would get a refund and got no answer. I waited a few days and emailed them again on july 27th to know when they would refund me. We’re friday july 28th and I didn’t get an answer and still no refund.

I recently ordered a Tissot watch from Gem Bijou - not only was the watch at my doorstep in less then two days, but they also had the best available price from a Canadian Authorized Dealer. The watch then went on sale within a few days of my purchase. I reached out to ask if I was eligible for the difference, and customer service issued a refund within a few minutes. This is an awesome jewelry store! The service is top of the line and they will go out of their way for the customer. I bought my engagement ring five years ago and needed to get it cleaned and fixed today. I also wanted to appraise it, so instead of coming on another day to pick up my ring and get it appraised, the Gem Bijou team really went out of their way to get everything done on the same day. Sam takes really good care of his customers and is super friendly, honest, and trustworthy. His prices are also quite reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this place!

Great online shopping experience at gembijou.com! Due to Covid-19 lock-down the only choice to purchase a watch these days is online. Gem Bijou had great discounts, therefore I ordered a Hamilton Khaki Mechanical. Shortly after completing the order I received an email from Sam who explained the watch I ordered online was no longer in stock. Hamilton upgraded the movement on those watches but he could offer the newer model with upgraded movement at the same discounted price I saw online. He also explained that it may take a few days for him to get the watch shipped from manufacturer. Shipping was within 2 days once I received notification from Sam that the watch was received by his store. I will not hesitate to use Gem bijou in the future.

Highly recommend for anyone interested in a watch. Owner is great. Purchased my first Longines watch from them, and the owner provided excellent service. When an issue came up, it was handled in an incredibly customer centric and timely manner.

I live in Montreal and called to purchase 2 watches which I have been looking to buy for awhile. They had both in stock where most competitors are sold out. Even though I couldn't be there in person, after talking to Sam for abit on the phone I felt confident and trusted the quality of what I was getting, which isn't always the case when shopping online. Sam was very kind and understanding and gave me a great price. I couldn't have asked for better service, honestly. I even called up my gf after I was done and had a big smile on my face telling her how happy I was haha. I usually have some kind of buyers remorse but not this time at all! Very disappointed in this business. They offered a watch at an advertised price but would not honour the price. The sales person claimed that the photo and price were not correct. They also claimed the item was not available, yet still left it up for sale for almost two weeks. They finally removed the product from their website in November and said it won't be available until February. But now they've listed the item back for sale on the website. At my time of purchase, they had no terms and conditions regarding pricing, out of stock or anything. Sales person phoned me from his car and yelled at me when I emailed to ask why did they cancel my order after one week, and didn't have the courtesy to contact me. Classic bait and switch. Buyer Beware.
