An amazing experience! Super friendly crew, our captain, Nick, was awesome. We sailed for a while, got to motor through the Island lagoons, and then as we headed back to the dock we caught the sunset. A ton of fun for a birthday or just because, we’ll be back!

JC was a fantastic instructor! We had a great time sailing around the Toronto Islands, and felt safe and secure; at the same time learning a lot about beginner sailing in a fun, relaxing afternoon.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Captain Todd & Nicolas were phenomenal! Above and beyond! We were the first charter of the season, and they were so kind, knowledge, and wonderful. We came from FL, and Captain Todd gave us some Toronto history, and pointed out all the gorgeous landmarks. They were the most accommodating, and treat us like kings and queens! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!

The sailing trip with Captain Tod and Captain Nicholas was the highlight of our trip to Toronto! They were incredibly professional and just as equally knowledgeable about the local area, which made for a nice conversation/geography lesson as we sailed out. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time while onboard and they definitely succeeded in that!

OMGGG. I'm so lucky to found these kind and professionals people. it was such a spontaneous thing we did for our friend's birthday and it turned out the best birthday plan I arrange for my friend's birthday. WE LOVED IT. oh my god they were super nice, super fun. we needed a charger and they took our phones and charged it for us. close to 8pm it got a bit chilly and they gave us blanket to keep us warm. Miranda answered all of my questions and I'm not even kidding I sent her maybe 10 emails and she answered them super fast and she was super patient with me. it was definitely one of the thing I recommend to do it for special occasion and even if you are in toronto. Definitely gonna book it for our next event. Thank you all so much for making our night super special.

My wife and I just did the night wine and cheese tour, and it was amazing. It was raining when we started however the crew put up some coverings to keep us dry. The crew was just amazing super fun and friendly. Will defiantly want to go again some day when the weather is much better

I really enjoyed my sunset sail with Howie and the crew from Gone Sailing Adventures. Beautiful large boat that can happily accommodate 10, comfy chairs and great food. I would definitely book again, the sunset was incredible. If people were smart, this would be number 1 tourist attraction for Toronto tourists.

Experience of a lifetime! Our skipper Nicolas took us on a beautiful sailboat ride out the western gap of Toronto Harbour onto the lake for the most beautiful sunset cruise. My son had never seen Toronto from the water. The ride finished with a tour of the harbour at night. We will never forget this awesome adventure. An extraordinary opportunity to see Toronto from the water.

Really great experience. Booked 2 different boats for 2 different occasions this year and both experiences were amazing. Really friendly crew and amazing captains who entertained my 10 years old niece on both trips. Highly recommend it! Both me and my family are happy we booked with this company. Zero issues, alot of fun. Captain Grey, Captain Nicolas and kamel made our trips very memorable.

Friends, if you want a unique adventure wrapped in a luxury feel this is IT! Planned for a work group and by far was the best group experience to date (15 years in business) so that says a LOT. Their preferred catering was fabulous and the service was amazing. Don't hesitate...call them now!

I had to cancel and yes I did pay for the any reason cancellation insurance, but because of circumstances out of my control I had to cancel. The girl I spoke with was very friendly and said she understood and would speak with management about not being charged the insurance fee. They still charged us anyway. I'm not sure I'll be booking again in the future not going to lie.

Great time - crew was professional and friendly - a great way to see the Toronto sky line and island - take some breathtaking pictures as you calmly sail around Toronto island. would recommend strongly

We had an amazing sunset cruise with the captain and his first mate. They were both very informative, professional and attentive! Not a bad part about it other than it had to end :(

THE BEST BEST BESTEST yacht tour ever. The service was 11/10. The staff was super friendly, soft-spoken, courteous and nice. They provided blankets for the chilly evening, made sure everyone got a chance to sit on the beanbags at the front of the yacht, took care of our belongings and bags, offered to click photos and even made our drinks “on the house” as my brother and I gifted this experience to our mom on Mother’s day. The yacht was super clean and we had the most amazing evening, soaking in astounding views of the magical Toronto skyline. I am definitely coming again!!! ❤️✨ YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!

I've taken the Gone Sailing Adventures Keelboat Cruising Course and I spent a week in the Keys with Howie in February 2020. He is an incredible instructor and genuinely fun to hang out with on the boat. My wife and I would recommend Gone Sailing Adventures training or travel adventures to anyone who is interested in this hobby and lifestyle!

I bought my daughter and her fiancé a three hr lesson. As a birthday gift at a cost of 500$. Since it was windy you should have cancelled it esp since you couldn’t teach them anything about sailing with a main sail. You took out 4 people at a cost of 1000$. You’d think that you could have provided a sandwich seeing that you only sail under a jib.Pathetic!!!!!!!!

Great service and awesome views of Toronto from the lake! Definitely a memorable experience and fun opportunity to learn some basics about sailng from the captain.

Do NOT book with this company. They wrecked my husband's birthday when they cancelled our private charter 30 minutes after we were supposed to set sail and are refusing to return my money unless I sign a mutual release contract. The worst part is that they knew the night before that they could not honour our booking but "forgot" to tell us that night, in the morning or when we checked in. Instead they left us waiting on the dock for a captain they knew was never arriving before finally telling us after we were supposed to set sail that the charter we booked weeks in advance was cancelled. The owner wasn't very apologetic and didn't seem to understand that cancelling was a big deal considering we travelled two hours to Toronto, made sure we both had the day off work, arranged two of our kids' schedules around this day and it was my husband's birthday. Warning - the price is also higher than what it says on the website. An inexplicable 10 per cent "crew service fee" is added when you book (I have no idea what this is or why customers would be charged this). You are also expected to tip an additional 15 to 20 per cent on top of that to the crew (I had expected the tip but not the service fee). We were offered compensation for the cancellation but it was pretty minimal to start. When we were offered significant compensation, it was for a shorter sail than what we booked and shorter than what is recommended for a good experience on their own website. Also, by that point in time we'd lost all trust in this company and had no faith if we rebooked that we wouldn't end up in the same situation or with different issues so we requested a refund. We were told that we could only get a refund if we signed a contract with all kinds of conditions in it. We own our own business so we are pretty understanding that stuff happens. If they'd called us the night before or that morning, we would have just rescheduled what we'd originally booked. Even if they'd been genuinely apologetic right from when we arrived and tried to legitimately make it up to us, we would have been understanding. Instead this was handled so badly that we don't ever want anything to do with this company again. Salt in the wound was that we arrived home to a "thank you for sailing with us" email stating that they hoped we "enjoyed our service."

We had gorgeous weather and an amazing time on ‘Decompression’. The boat is beautiful and the food and drink were tasty. Captain Greg and crew were fantastic, very respectful of our ash scattering ceremony. Thanks for making the celebration of life so special. We highly recommend this company for anyone looking to scatter ashes on water.

We had a fantastic time on the Friday night excursion. We were a little nervous in advance because of the weather forecast for the day, and we were told they sail rain or shine. There was a bit of rain while we were out, but it was just fine, there was a cover on the open part of the ship, and when it got a bit stronger we headed downstairs. The crew knew what they were doing and were super hospitable. The wine and cheese element was a great addition to the experience.

Took our family out for a short trip while they’re in town, we had a wonderful experience. Captain Nicolas and crew-mates presented us with exceptional customer service and made sure we were having a great time. 10/10 would recommend.

Captain Howie and First Mate, made our sailing experience perfect. We had a great time and would recommend this to anyone. Way better than the larger site seeing cruises packed with people.

If you want to fall in love with Toronto, sail with this company. My husband and I booked a shared 3-hour sail on the amazing 38-foot sailboat on Saturday. Turns out, because of iffy weather all day, we were the only ones who braved the voyage -- what luck for us! The skies cleared and we had a magnificent sunset! Even though we live in Toronto, we were awed by the beauty of the city from the lake - cruising through the lagoons of the Toronto Islands, then clipping along on full sails in the outer harbour. We couldn't have asked for more. Captain JC and his crewmate Lauren were excellent. They kept us informed about our journey, made sure we were comfortable before they hoisted the sails, and showed us great photo opportunities. They really knew what they were doing and took very good care of us from beginning to end. Five stars!!

You will have high expectation through the marketing post on cruise but that's not the reality. It's will be overcrowded. Not worth that you Pay. If going for a special plans than won't recomm...

😠 It was a lunch buffet but the ran out of food! A lot of us we're frustrated. It was a Mother's Day Celebration and we're not happy with what we experienced. They only replenished food twice and they said they dont carry a lot of food in the boat as the capacity was limited. They have some salad left...
