Great detail on a lot of of the exhibits. Some do not. But still a decent effort wax figurines. Make sure when you come accross then Predator exhibit. See if you can spot the optical illusion. Love the new Marvel, Justice League super heroes, and Xenomorph Alien additions. Best detail of the whole museum.

This place was pretty cool! It was a great fun experience for a pretty cheap price (14 CAD 10 USD). Definitely helped kill the time and got some cool pictures of the artwork there! Would totally recommend

It's a fun museum, statues aren't as good as the London one, but they offer options to take really fun pictures and adults and kids enjoy the walk around very much. It's included in the fun pass so it's worth to try it out

Visited this museum as a part of clifton hill fun pass. There wasnt any wait time.. good place to spend 20-30 min while visiting Niagra falls. Some characters did look funny while the Marvel and DC characters were interesting. some had interative voice/ lights. There is also a small horror passage to explore.

Lots of wax figures to look through Some good and well done. Some look a bit funny. Overall it’s still made out of wax so still super cool to see not expecting it to all be spot on. It’s a fun place to go through and not a very short walk through.

Ummm where to begin.... Wax statues are horrendously funny (see pics). Some look like they were made without the artist having a picture to go by. Like, very poorly done- "just throw a wig on it". Best part of this exhibit is the ending, where all the super heroes are all on display. These aren't even wax statues, but at least look like the characters. Gave it a 2.0 stars because at least it's a medium length tour and we had a bunch of laughs. Never heard so many people say "what the eff?" and "are you serious- this looks nothing like....(fill in actor name). Tourists- just go in and have fun EDIT: Giving this 3 ⭐⭐⭐. First- owner responded which is always a plus. Second- we didn't NOT have fun! It is a lengthy tour and you can even interact with some of the exhibits (which I failed to mention) so you will definitely not be bored. There is also a Horror section that will get some screams. Overall we had a blast, so wasn't disappointed on the fun vibe. ;)

Good fun one for kids. Always try to stick to pass in Clifton street so you save in each game like 10% each or more.

Some figures look so real! It was pretty cool, but it felt very short because there isn't any interaction. We completed the whole tour in 15 min. Price isn't too expensive approx $11 for adults, so it's pretty good compared to other attractions in the area. Check it out at least once, it's not bad.

Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the area! My girlfriend and I went with the kiddos, and we all had a great time!

Worth checking once, bonus point for having super heroes models visible from the street view and lots of cool characters, but some are behind fences making it hard to take decent photo. There is also an optional haunted house portion which is nice, and a special effect that make Predator look invisible depending from where you view.

Should be a 3.5, started out iffy. There’s a lot of typos on their stuff and some figures REALLY look NOTHING like who it’s supposed to be but the saving grace (for me atleast) was the horror section. It was pretty damned good and I loved seeing and hearing the crypt keeper in there cause he’s one of my favorite of all time. What I thought was going to be the worst thing of the Clifton hill fun pass turned out to be pretty fun.

Fun for kids! Fun to look through! The figures may not be perfect but they are still great!

Some of them were lifelike, some of them weren’t, but I did enjoy visiting. The superhero room at the end was the most enjoyable.

Review by my 11 yr old son. The wax museum was good. LOTS of things to look at. Some of the wax figures looked disfigured and not really like the actual people but if you just look at them and imagine who they were trying to be, then they were ok. They were all at least recognizable. Otherwise it was a great place to visit at Clifton hill!!

This place was pretty bad. Maybe 20% of the figures were realistic. Actors names spelled and grammar errors on one of the TVs. If you get the 6 event combo pass, it’s still worth taking 15 minutes to run through…but this is nothing like the other wax museum in the area that has much better quality.

It's a fun place for people who love movies. You'll forsure find your fav character in there. It's also interactive, lets you take photos with certain characters as if you're part of their crew, you also have some fun trivia questions. Must visit atleast once! The only hick for me...they did some of those characters dirtyyyyyyyyyyy, you'll see what I mean. Other than that, go have fun

Agree with the other reviewers - the older wax figures are not as good as the newer ones like the Marvel characters. It's a good time but probably wouldn't be back.

Some of the wax figures look like they’ve seen something.. however, it was fun and a few laughs along the way. I was with a huge movie buff and he really enjoyed it

I give it a 5 star because of the haunted detour you can opt to see. Not for kids, of course because of the sudden scares. 😅 But it's fun to see. It's not really wax, but like human sized statues.

No matter how famous - or infamous - I may become, please don’t honour me with a wax replica. This attraction showcased questionable representations of actors and movie characters from over the years. Advice is to buy tickets before hand, no sense waiting in line twice. Wear a mask if you don’t feel comfortable in tight spaces. Air Conditioning and washrooms available.

Most of the wax statues are funny and not even closer to the actual look, see some pictures. The kids had fun though.

Ehhh… these do not live up to the hype of the celebrity walk wax figures at casa Loma. They hardly look like what they’re supposed to.

This is the dankest wax museum I’ve ever been too but it was one of the most enjoyable experiences in Niagara Falls for us! 😂 Get the fun pass and it is easily worth it

Movieland, the peculiar wax museum that defies all expectations, presents itself as a unique and unforgettable experience for those seeking an unparalleled dose of fun. This museum, located in some remote corner of the city, stands out for its unique approach to creating low-quality statues that, instead of dazzling with realism, manage to elicit laughter and chuckles from its visitors. From the moment you step through the doors of Movieland, you immerse yourself in a world where eccentricity and humor reign. The wax figures, although clearly not aiming to compete with artistic perfection, manage to capture the essence of characters in such a hilarious way that it is impossible not to smile at the sight of these unique creations. The magic of Movieland lies in its ability to turn what is generally associated with seriousness and meticulousness into a feast of laughter. Celebrity figures and iconic film characters are portrayed in such exaggerated and extravagant fashion that it's hard to contain laughter. From distorted versions of Hollywood stars to oversized caricatures of classic movie characters, every corner of this museum offers a comical and joyful perspective on film culture. Although the statues may lack the technical sophistication of other renowned wax museums, Movieland has capitalized on its unique approach to create an experience that deviates from the conventional. It is a place that challenges expectations and proves that quality is not always synonymous with enjoyment. Here, laughter is the criterion for success, and in that sense, Movieland triumphs spectacularly. In conclusion, Movieland is a must-visit destination for those seeking an out-of-the-ordinary experience. Its unique focus on low-quality wax statues becomes its greatest strength, transforming a stroll through its halls into an unforgettable and laughter-filled experience. This museum proves that fun and entertainment can be found in the most unexpected forms, making Movieland a place worth visiting and sharing with friends and family.

Great detail on a lot of of the exhibits. Some do not resemble much but still an amazing effort. A bit Expensive but passes can be purchased st costco before visiting Niagara. Worth checking once, but wouldn’t pay for this exhibit individually, but when using the funpass it makes price a bit more tolerable. Llots of cool characters, but some are behind fences making it hard to take photo.

We wanted to do a wax museum and the sky wheel, so purchased the Clifton Hill pass for $40. I think this museum is normally $15. I would say only about 25% of the figures look like who they are supposed to be.

We had a laugh at Movieland one rainy evening. I understand that it can't be easy to make a wax replica of someone but some of these were.... off. Not quite resembling the person. Others were spot on! The place is larger than I thought. It's a bit of a maze that you wander through as you're immersed from one movie to the next. It's more fun with a friend so bring a pal and a camera 📷 😉

A perfect place for Movie lovers! Fun for the whole family, or if you simply enjoy movies and want to experience some fine wax figures! Some of them are not perfected, but the majority are! The Avengers collections is top notch and the best out of the whole museum. Highly recommended

I visited this Zombie Attack during my trip to Niagara Falls in Late August/Early Sept. 2022. It was a rainy day and we decided to participate in indoor activities. We purchased the fun pass which includes admission to 6 attractions, including Movieland Wax Museum. There was no line to get inside. This attraction is for everyone of all ages. Some of the wax figures didn’t look like the actual person they were supposed to be and we couldn’t figure who the person was. Some we were able to recognize the wax figure instantly. My favorite ones or at least the ones that were done the best was the terminator and the Marvel cast. There is a Scary section in which we bypassed. I wouldn’t visit this wax museum again.

Expensive, yes but great. 13 and 10 yr old kids loved the end characters the best. Scary portion was good too!

don’t listen to anyone else’s reviews, they’re all squares - the wax figures here look fkn terrifying and that’s the best part. get the clifton hills fun pass and go through movie land with some friends like its a horror maze, you won’t regret it 🙏

  • 4/5 Serge E. 1 year ago on Google
It's ok with lot's of characters. Don't expect to make a double take as realism is not there ... Fun family tour as part of pass for 6 places to check out.

  • 3/5 Pablo L. 1 year ago on Google
The place is OK to spend some time with the kids. However, the statues usually don't look much like the original actors and characters. Some are just mannequines with the character's clothes, like Harry Potter. Some are pretty bad. But the main reason for the 3 stars is the bad attitude of the staff. Unfortunate that it seems like we just caught them in a day where they didn't want to get bothered

Expensive and old. This place needs a little dusting... The best wax figures can be seen from the road. Go to Louis Tussaud instead.
