The
best
dance
floor
that
I
know
of
(3200
sq.
feet)
and
I've
been
dancing
in
the
Toronto
area
for
40+
years.
DJ's
all
play
a
variety
of
dance
music,
with
a
more
or
less
equal
mix
of
selections
suitable
for
International
Style
Ballroom
&
Latin-American.
However,
dances
such
as
Salsa,
Merengue,
Bachata,
West
Coast
Swing
&
Argentine
Tango
are
included
in
their
playlists
as
well.
Also
an
assortment
of
line
dances.
Special
theme
dances
once
or
twice
per
month,
including
a
gala
New
Year's
Eve
party.
Speaker
system
projects
onto
the
dance
floor
so
that
one
can
have
a
conversation
in
the
seating
areas
without
shouting.
Male
dance
hosts
are
on
duty
every
Fri.
&
Sat.
evening,
and
will
also
be
working
the
club's
Tues.
afternoon
tea
dances
in
Oct.
Many
professionals
rent
space
there
for
teaching,
some
of
them
run
group
classes,
dances
&
practice
sessions
open
to
the
public.
Most
people
who
attend
dances
at
30Up
have
had
some
instruction,
but
like
most
places,
the
skill
level
of
the
participants
tends
to
vary
considerably.
Since
the
club
can
hold
a
maximum
of
150,
it
is
never
really
too
crowded
to
dance.
