They had me at Green Tea Ice Cream. And yes, they've got it. Personable, engaging Staff who will take the time to describe their dishes. You enter and are met with the most inviting aromatic scents that will have you drool before you reach the counter. Chilled prepared meals to the left with a shelf of spices, herbs, noodles and so on at the back. A counter of salads and another of fine warm meals follow suit. The Japanese inspired kitchen is impressive but horror of horrors is the fact they have no seating. Business 101 tells me that's going to come back and take a bite from the bottom line. Not even a stand alone shelf with a stool. Something to do with the condo rules I am told but the pizza joint next door in the same complex has plenty of seating. Although a real negative, students and those wanting take out will not be disappointed. I opted for the beef curry, Sheppard's pie and pork schnitzel. A side of ginger was provided. All were excellent. Outside tables for the summer perhaps?

First time trying it out after seeing the many good reviews. I passed by many times but was never curious enough to try it as it looked like a regular food court-like take-out spot - nothing special. But I must say I am quite impressed with the food and how clean it looks inside the Restaurant. I ordered the West Indian Beef Curry, Buttermilk Fried Chicken and the Beef Patties for take out as those were the ones most raved about in the reviews. They are just as good as described and exceeded my expectations. West Indian Beef Curry: Flavourful Curry sauce with medium sized beef pieces which had a very light amount of fat which made the meat even more tender. The meat was not dry and not overcooked which I really appreciated. It also had some pieces of squash (?) which paired really well with the beef and he curry. This dish comes with brown rice with herbs which was very flavourful as compared to your regular white rice. It still tastes delicious the next day when you microwave it. Buttermilk Fried Chicken: Extremely crispy and NO BONES! I was pleasantly surprised not to find any bones in the fried chicken. For those who complained about the fried chicken to be unhealthy or too oily, how do you fry chicken without oil. I would not recommend fried chicken, if you want to eat healthy. However, the chicken was flavourful and after microwaving it, it still maintained it crispy batter. One drawback is that the skin under the batter was a bit too burned in my opinion and it had some chicken hair on it, which are safe to eat but I rather not. So I did not eat those parts and wishes they removed those. Otherwise super delicious. It also comes with a creamy and little spicy dipping sauce. Jamaican Beef Patties: They come in 2 and are quite filling as they are bigger than your usual beef patties and well stuffed. The pastry was crispy and chewy at the same time while the filling was very flavourful. They are not spicy though. Did not expect great beef patties from a non-Jamaican place. Service: Attentive and very friendly staff. Clean interior. This place has exceeded my expectations for home meals and take outs. Will recommend to give it a try and will come back to try the other dishes. Apparently they occasionally change the dishes. Really want to try the eggplant dish, so hope they bring it back.

Failed to list peanut butter as an ingredient in their Thai red curry on the website. I ordered online and had a severe allergic reaction upon trying the food. With ingredients that are such severe allergens, please list them on the online menu for customer safety.

Great selection of cooked and frozen meals at good prices. Tastes good too, totally caught me off guard. Only complaint is that the Brussels sprouts are sometimes over done.

A good fast food restaurant to grab your food and eat at home or work. There is no seat here. The taste of the food was something new to me (ONLY TAKE-OUT). I haven't tried this combination of spices.

Hands down, BEST Jamaican beef patties on the planet. Beautiful tender flaky pastry and plenty of filling inside, perfectly spiced. I can't get enough of them. West Indies inspired menu of the best homestyle take-out (only) in the hood. Reasonably priced, clean store, very friendly fast service. Love it. Worth giving it a try.

The best fried chicken I've had. Better than all the other chicken joints out there. The Mac and cheese was pretty good too. I highly recommend you make a stop here to grab a bite.

Awesome food and great vegetarian options. I had the curry and agedashi vegetables and both were very tasty!

Their food is tastes delicious every time, and at a very reasonable price. FLEETS opened up shop on Church St just before New Year's in 2018, and we just happened to walk by on their opening day! We live in the area and having them nearby is such a blessing when I'm busy or don't feel like cooking. They have a nice selection of hot foods cooked daily on site that you can enjoy right away and also have a lot of options in their fridge and freezer for you to take home to reheat too! We have been back a since our first visit and their food does not disappoint! Definitely try their pudding!

Food is delicious and quite inexpensive for a downtown eatery. I had the chicken mushroom stew which I didn’t like as much as the eggplant parmigiana, which was excellent and flavourful. I also got the guava drink which paired perfectly with the meal. A perfect punch of sweet while eating savoury. Service was fast and the person behind the counter was great with suggestions since it was my first time there.

#vegetarianfriendly #healthy #datenight #goodfoodtogo Great food to bring home when I don't want to cook. The eggplant parmesan is my favorite, can't get enough. Affordable and easy!

Loved the food at fleets - not only is it affordable but very flavorful. You'll feel full because of the goodness of the ingredients. We got the mango Curry salad and vegan thai Curry. Both were incredibly delicious. We requested to make the thai Curry extra spicy and boy did they live up to the extra spice challenge. We signed up for their generous rewards - so I can't wait to try all the great food!! One thing I'm definitely interested is how often they change their menu. Reason is that options are limited for vegetarians. So it'll be great if they can change their menu frequently to accommodate veggie lovers! Definitely a gem and it's perfect in Covid time when people want to eat restaurant quality food at home at an affordable price. Can't go wrong at all!

Fleets does takeaway right. I usually go there once a week and they make some really good meals. My favourites are the beef curry, the fried chicken and the beef patties. Service is always friendly and quick.

BRUSSELS SPROUTS is too bitter, but the fried chicken is much better than Popeyes and McDonald’s even though it is little bit soggy

Likewise to other reviews, they've begun to shrink portion sizes. Before also they used to have a more changing menu but it feels like they are sticking to just the options they have now. I recommend the spot because the food is good but I feel like in 6 months I may not.. hard to justify price for what you get.
