Omg. Found this place on google maps because this restaurant had almost perfect ratings. The food was AMAZING. So fresh and well cooked. We ordered fried cauliflowers as appetizer and falafel pita and chicken schnitzel sandwich as mains and finished off with saffron cake. The service was really good too. We are definitely coming back. ❤️

What a fantastic restaurant and a terrific menu! The staff is notably warm, friendly, and courteous! The atmosphere is really inviting and cozy, and wonderful for families. We especially enjoy the grilled eggplant and cauliflower to start, and the salads are exceptional. We highly recommend the lamb... lamb shish kabob, lamb kefta kabob, and lamb chops...

Has an amazing experience at Limon restaurant. Food was very delicious. Strip steak sandwich was very juicy, with delicious sauce. Chicken Shish Kabob was with the smoke taste, very juicy. Our server was attentive and really helpful in choosing food. Will definitely return to this restaurant again.

This place food was amazing and the customer service was top notch. The lamb was perfectly juicy and the falafel was just right. Highly recommend those dishes! They also have a baklava brownie that looked wonderful and I'll be trying that next :)

So freaking good!! The food AND the service was excellent. Can't say enough good things about our dinner tonight. Portions were so good, had enough for lunch leftovers . Price was reasonable. So so amazing. You have to come here !

Tried Limon last night with another couple. The food was beyond incredible, service was fantastic. Truly cannot wait to go again. Green eggplant use to be our go too. After tasting all the different starters and mains yesterday evening, I was blown away. As was everyone else in our dinner party.

I love this place! Staff is extremely caring and really ensures you have great food and experience. Food is so fresh and well seasoned. Only suggestion Is I wish they would have compostable takeout containers.

Limon is excellent. We visited twice and had some of the best food I've ever had. The meat is tender and impeccably done. Salad was just perfect. Portions are generous. Service was great. Had to ask for a fee things and got them right away. If you like good food, this is my go to place in The Beach! Atmosphere could use a bit of TLC. The tables are bare. A candles or a little plant would help. The young lady at front of the house does not smile, not welcoming. Staff at the back had a table spread out w a laptop and paperwork. LEDs could use softening. Still a newr 5 Star 🌟 in and best value for your money! Highly recommend.

This restaurant absolutely surpasses my expectations of fresh and beautiful Mediterranean cuisine. Amazing service, clean, lovely atmosphere (I sat on the patio) and delicious food! Highly recommend the falafel, lamb kebab and the lamb chops. Will definitely be back.

Authentic and flavorful Middle Eastern cuisines with a modern touch and good ambiance. Chicken kabob is amazing, smokey and well-seasoned, meat is done right so very tender and juicy. Falafel and the appetizers are as good as expected but the portions are too big make them hard to finish and thus losing my appetite (they should make cheaper and smaller options). The goat milk dessert is thick, creamy, and medium sweet. People are nice and welcoming.

What a great restaurant! The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I had a fantastic lunch and will certainly be back this summer. Next time, I'd like to try their sea bream with salad. Make sure to try Burrata salad. It's great for sharing and it tastes amazing. As a suggestion, their menu would benefit from adding fresh lemonade (not a slushy and not from a bottle/can) and freshly squeezed juice (e.g. pomegranate, grapefruit, orange). When it comes to seafood on the menu, it is not clear whether rainbow trout, sea bream, and salmon are farmed or wild. I don't like to eat farmed fish. I'm sure there are people out there who also prefer wild fish only. It would be helpful to know whether seafood items on the menu are wild or farmed. A small "wild" and "farmed" sticker next to each item can address this issue.

Came here for the first time today after it was strongly recommended to me by a colleague, and am happy to say that I was not disappointed. The food is simple, clean, and absolutely delicious! Took a little long to come in my opinion, especially since it wasn't busy when I was there, but if you ever find yourself in the Beaches and are craving good Middle Eastern cuisine, you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

WOW! Where do I begin? This is my second time here and I will definitely be coming back as often as a I can. From the ambience, to the service, all through the flavours, spices, sweetness and aromas in the food, it is truly one of the best dining experiences in Toronto if not Canada. A true gem to have such a humbling and delicious experience. Thinking about coming here but can’t decide? Let this review help you. Come AS SOON AS YOU CAN!! A special shout-out to Jonathan for being an outstanding host, and story teller behind the food. 10/10.

Roasted Rainbow Trout w/ Limon Salad - Cooked to absolute perfection, flaky while moist, seasoned but simple, and so delicious but there's not enough. Each bite brings out the umami filled fatty juices of the trout, paired with a refreshing bite of the limon salad with a tangy but mellow vinaigrette. Falafel Wrap - Fresh, moist, and flavourful falafel wrap. The pita is fluffy and is a wonderful vehicle to deliver an amazing bite of hummus, falafel, salad, zhug, and a hint of sweetness. Fried Cauliflower - Fried until that desired fragrant, irresistible golden brown crust, and topped with aromatic veggies and herbs and a delicious labneh sauce that harmonizes everything together. Follow @bredgyeats for more food photos!

Been here a few times and one of the best middle eastern restaurants in Toronto. I for sure enjoy it much more than Tabule! And to be right by the beaches, absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend getting a bunch of their house-made dips to start. Some must-orders are the humus (believe me, it's way better than any humus you've tasted short of going to the middle east), the labne is perfectly tart and creamy, and the babaganoush is creamy and smokey. The fried eggplant dip was also quite good with big chunks of eggplant, but I think I prefer the others. Order a few of their freshly baked pita to go with the dips and you almost have a meal on its own! For mains we've had the grilled whole sea bass, chicken schnitzel, grilled rainbow trout, lamb kefta (daily special), lamb kabobs (daily special). They are all delicious! I did find the lamb kefta slightly dry at the time, but the flavours were on point. Personally, their fish is absolutely killer. The grill it so that it has a crispy exterior with a moist interior. Each main comes with a side, definitely try the freekeh which according to google, is made of young, green grains of durum wheat. It has a nice texture and flavour to it, and even if you don't like rice, you'd enjoy this. The fries come out hot and crispy. The Limon Salad is a nice refreshing side. Steamed rice was a little plain, but I guess it's good for those looking for a simpler, less salty/greasy option. Drinks are reasonably priced with a good variety. Service is great, attentive, and very friendly. So glad this place is close to us, as we've already been a few times and have never been disappointed yet. A side note is that they only take reservations for tables of 5 or more.

What a hidden gem! This is a great place to eat Mediterranean food. Prices are totally reasonable and the taste is really good. The starters were my favorite including falafel and the cauliflower (it’s a must).

Quick service, good food, pita is especially delishious. We ordered both deserts that are not on the menu (Raspberry chocolate cake and a pumpkin creme brulee) and they were fantastic.

What a lovely restaurant! We’ve been here for lunch a few times, and the experience is absolutely wholesome every single visit. The food is made with fresh ingredients and the service is consistently good. Also, opinion of one but Limon has the best hummus in town. Will be coming back with friends and family.

Excellent! The falafel pita was perfect for lunch. The beer list is extensive and local. Delicious and a nice change from the many pubs in the area. Nice sidewalk patio.

Live music and great food! Really tasty food and great patio set up along queen. There was live music when we went on a Saturday night which was a treat. The staff were nice and the scene is really nice.

We were just randomly looking for a place for lunch that wouldn't be too fried or plain old sandwiches and came across Limon. It was exactly what I wanted for lunch. Tasty and not too heavy. I'm super picky about falafel and this one was just the way it should be. Not dry and crumbly like so many, and the pita was beautiful. The whole fish was also cooked well but the salad was a bit too sour and neither of us could really eat it. We got 3 starter dishes (the 3 for $18 deal) and have to say they were a little too big to have those and a meal. The best part was that for once beet salad was ALL beets! I'm so used to that meaning a few pieces of beets tossed with a bunch of greens. Not here. It was all beets. Big positive. The one server was very nice but the other one (or food runner?) was quite abrupt and unfriendly. A special bonus was the Israeli juice. It's been many years since I've seen it on a menu. My favourite bagel place (long since closed down) used to have it so when I saw "strawberry banana juice" from Israel I didn't want to get too excited... but it was! Exactly as I remember :) I may return just for that alone. This place could be perfect to me if they had Israeli couscous on the menu. So few (if any) places around the area do.

Excellent food, excellent serving staff, a restaurant choice guaranteed not to disappoint. Start with the $7 humas with 2 pita; humas taken up a notch for sure. GF had the $10 falafel stuffed pita and the $10 Israeli salad. Could only eat half of each (lot'o'food). Very taste. I had the Lamb kefta with a Greece salad; awesome flavours. I ate 2/3rds and doggy-bagged the remainder. So be warned the servings are big. Quality and quantity, can't ask for more, eh. Most definitely will return. Oh the pickled items you see are complimentary. Nice touch.

I can not say enough good things about Limon, what a welcome addition to the Beach! The food is incredible, the prices are beyond reasonable and the service outstanding. Have had two patio dinners there in the last month and the place was packed and had live music to boot. Five stars all around.

This place deserves all the hype! The food is otherworldly. We ordered a falafel sandwich, chicken sandwich, the cauliflower dish and the caramel tart. Everything was delicious. Not only that, it was BEAUTIFUL — and that’s with it being delivered to our home. I thought the falafel sandwich was the best thing I’d had in a while (crispy, savoury, fresh and filling)…until I tasted my spouse’s chicken sandwich. Omg! Anyone who thinks chicken is boring needs to try this sandwich. Simple, but done perfectly right. The cauliflower dish was colourful, delicious and very generously portioned. I didn’t get a photo of the caramel tart but it was also quite large (more like a big caramel square), beautifully plated (it even had the fancy smear/push along the bottom of the to-go plate…lol, just gorgeous!) and was a munique and ethereal dessert. I’m obsessed!

Great service and atmosphere. Had the lentil soup to start. Not bad, but not special either. Friend got the Lamb Kefta Kabob - it was so tender and juicy. Recommend if you're a Lamb person. My Chicken Shnitzel Baquette was really good, and well worth the price. Will probably go back!

A fantastic Saturday afternoon surprise! We ordered our servers recommendation: smoked salmon and lamb kabobs with the signature Limon salad. Each meal was perfect. Service was charming and atmosphere was relaxed. Oh, and the pickles! Make sure you have the pickles. Generous portions to boot!

If you’re a fan of Middle Eastern food, Limon is definitely a spot to go for. Kofta (beef and lamb) is beautifully cooked, juicy with amazing tastes. - Babaganoush dipping is a MUST-try with pita - Seasonal Watermelon salad: creative idea for refreshing in summertime Will comeback again for sure!

On Sunday evening, we visited this place specifically for desserts. We decided to order the lime tart and Somalia rolls. The flavors were delightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our treats.

  • 5/5 Christopher D. 8 months ago on Google
Limon was pretty packed, and rightly slow. Got a seat outside on a really nice evening within 20-30 min. The dips were really good, enjoyed the eggplant and pepper the most. Lamb kefta kabob was really tasty and the freekeh majadra was a good side for it. Chicken shish kabob was juicy and the sea bream tasted fresh. Absolutely great apps and mains. Tried a cheese based dessert, which didnt quite hit the spot. Overall, great resto, good food, really filling. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing location outside in the patio with beautiful planters and umbrellas. Bought 3 appetizer dishes to share with pita and sliced cucumber. The dishes were eggplant, beet salad and hummus. Plentiful portions. I wasn't expecting such great service and atmosphere. Didn't wait long for the dishes to come out either. Perfect.
