I still think the arancini are some of the best in the city. But the place's main recommendation is pizza. We ordered the special that happened to be kale with smoked mozzarella and chili. It was delicious! If you aren't a vegetarian, it's worth trying the meatballs. I also love their desserts and cocktails. They make a perfect Negroni. On the Wednesday we visited, the bottled wine was half price, and we ordered the valpolicella. It was a fantastic choice and a great deal.

Being very particular about vegan cheese….Pizzeria Libretto makes their very own soy based vegan cheese and it’s really good! We called ahead to find out what vegan options they offered and when we arrived, Kayla, was a wonderful host and continued to give us all the details about the vegan items. We ordered the Impossible pizza and asked them to remove the “impossible plant based meat” and add extra mushrooms instead, which they accommodated with ease. It was delicious! The herby green goddess dressing drizzled on top added such a nice flavour. The interior is really clean and cozy with cool artwork to look at.

We finally got around to getting lockdown takeout pizza from Pizzeria Libretto, and we're very glad that we did. We love a good Neapolitan-style pizza, but in our experience they're rarely done quite right. We can't say that about Libretto's take on this classic pie, though. Everything about our Duck Confit pizza was on point. The crust was perfect, with just the right char and a centre that held up perfectly (a challenge with many Neapolitan pizzas). And the toppings were magic. Delicious duck (with duck fat - because why not?!), roasted bosc pear, rosemary, fior di latte and parmigiano-reggiano. Mouthwateringly good. We also treated ourselves to the Burrata from their Antipasti menu, and it was fabulous. A big serving of creamy, silky burrata accompanied by an off-the-charts apricot & apple mostarda and a braised treviso radicchio, served with tasty EVOO and a white balsamic reduction. So damn good! And if you want to fill that last spot treat yourself to their Focaccia. Some of the best we've had anywhere in the city. It took us a long while to visit these folks. That was our bad, and it won't happen again. We're comin' for their NEO_NY style Genoa Salami pizza next!

Really awesome pizza spot with a great vibe! Was pleasantly surprised to see the GF crust (farther pizza) looked the exact same as the normal crust (closer pizza) and my friend can attest that the GF crust is amazing! the anchovies were fresh and delicious. The highlight of the pizza in my perspective is the sauce - perfectly sweet and savoury! 10/10

I’m a fan of Pizza Libretto so I was stoked that they opened a location in The Junction. We ordered takeaway a lot from them during the pandemic. Tastes just as good at home as in the restaurant! They get super busy in the evenings on Friday and Saturday so be sure to order a head or just be prepared to wait.

Another location crossed off the list! Beautiful little spot with lovely staff and delicious pizzas and small plates. Our server was fantastic, she was extremely friendly and recommended the pizza of the day (which we ended up ordering) and loved it. We also always order the meatballs, they’re some of the best I’ve ever had!

Well...I don't want to sound overly picky...BUT...horrible pizza today. I ordered a Vegetarian. Mushroom, green pepper, onion and olives. Three complaints: First, zero flavour. The overall taste was that of the liquid in a can of crushed tomatoes. Very, very bland. Next, the sauce was more like the liquid in a can of tomatoes. (Was this actually the liquid in a can of tomatoes?) Last...the pizza was the soggiest pizza I've ever eaten. Literally soaked. Like they used the pizza to wash dishes. You may want to tighten up your sauce guys. Reduce or add paste. You are lacking flavour and body. The toppings weren't the cause of the watered down, flavour or the saturated crust. It's your sauce. There are too many better alternatives in the area. Defina to be the best. Pizza Pizza is better. Service was good. Decor was pleasant. Pizza was gross. I was expecting better. Not that it matters.

Loved the clay oven pizza, I have basically swallowed it as it was so good:)) The lady who was serving us on the grumpy rainy Saturday was amazing. I also loved the interior, the art of the local artist, Wowed me!!!

a delicious traditional pie, perfect for anytime of the day. Ordered the Margherita and it lived up to the hype! Also very friendly service from the lady at the desk taking orders, and didn’t hesitate to answer any inquiries!

This is my second time visiting Pizzeria Libretto and it was very nice. We had the bruschetta, gnocci, funghi pizza and of course their sea salt Nutella cookie. The atmosphere was nice, the staff were incredible and super friendly and the restaurant seemed cozy. Only little critique was that the table we were sat in was wobbley, but great overall.

Simply LOVE this place. First time I tried it. Came with my 15 year old daughter - she fell in love with the pizza. Delicious we had a simple 16” cheese pizza.

I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We are here for fathers day Excellent service. Our server was very helpful. They offer a vegan pizza which is great. The patio is also open. I wish I'd thought to take photos. Very clean and well run. Highly recommended.

I was disappointed. When pizza is the emphasis of your restaurant, you had better make sure that it's good. On the plus side, the toppings were delicious. But, the crust was VERY soggy and limp. I wouldn't dare pick up a slice for fear the toppings would all fall off! Overall, the value equation was off too. The meatball appetizer was underwhelming in both taste and quantity. And, the "large" glass of wine was only 8 oz not the usual 9! Give me a break!

Great vibe! My partner got the Hawaiian, rare to see a fancy Hawaiian Pizza it was amazing. The focaccia bread is also amazing.... I tried the duck confit pizza and it was so so. Not my favourite but worth trying something new.

Great food; great service; great pizza selections. Wish I'd taken pics of my food, but it all vanished before I realized I'd eaten it.

Solid pizza. Might be my favourite place in the city now. The dough is perfect, great texture, nice char. Got the Burata (with super fresh whole burrata di borgo cheese) and the Vegetariana (mushrooms, olives, artichokes, basil). The combo of ingredients in that one worked so well together. Impressed!

Great customer service with deliciously fluffy and soft pizzas! We ordered several of their pizzas and all of them were great. The calamari portions are a bit small for the price but even those were very well done.

Pizza’s amazing.. but the woman greeting us was funny. My mask was not over my nose as we walked in and she pointed it out so fast. Meanwhile you can take your mask off when you sit down and this woman walked by me many times. What’s the point? People loosing their minds..

Pros: the food and drinks are amazing. They have a variety on the types of pizza styles (example: the thin Italian style pizza and the thicker New York style pizza), which is unique and different. Loved every bite! Cons: we ate outside, and I get that restaurants had to quickly adapt to building patios so that they could survive, but I feel like this restaurant’s patio could be better. It could be a little more inviting. Overall: I definitely recommend it!

I visited this place with high hopes and unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience. From the moment I entered, I was met with an unwelcoming attitude from the server, which set a negative tone for the entire evening. The server's lack of warmth and hospitality left much to be desired, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. It's disheartening when the staff fails to create a welcoming environment, as it greatly affects the overall dining experience. Considering my underwhelming experience, I cannot recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. The combination of the server's unwelcoming demeanor and the average taste of the pizza left me feeling unsatisfied and unimpressed. There are plenty of other places in town that offer superior service and more flavorful pizza, making them a better choice for an enjoyable meal.

it’s an old-school atmosphere, narrow, but deep restaurant, storefront with friendly staff, woodfired pizza and the pepperonis curl up on the edges as they should, if you like New York style pizza. there were other options as well but this is what I had and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you.

Great rustic pizza place with a friendly staff. Their vegan Impossible Pizza is worth the visit alone, but they also have a solid kids menu and were polite and helpful. No complaints, they even serve a non-alcoholic beer!

I have frequented Pizzeria Libretto often. Their pizzas are the closest version of the good Pizzas I've eaten in Italy. I've been at University location a couple of times, Junction ( first time) and Ossington. I like the Ossington location more. I find the food great, the beer perfect, the service very good and the environment nice.
