We
finally
got
around
to
getting
lockdown
takeout
pizza
from
Pizzeria
Libretto,
and
we're
very
glad
that
we
did.
We
love
a
good
Neapolitan-style
pizza,
but
in
our
experience
they're
rarely
done
quite
right.
We
can't
say
that
about
Libretto's
take
on
this
classic
pie,
though.
Everything
about
our
Duck
Confit
pizza
was
on
point.
The
crust
was
perfect,
with
just
the
right
char
and
a
centre
that
held
up
perfectly
(a
challenge
with
many
Neapolitan
pizzas).
And
the
toppings
were
magic.
Delicious
duck
(with
duck
fat
-
because
why
not?!),
roasted
bosc
pear,
rosemary,
fior
di
latte
and
parmigiano-reggiano.
Mouthwateringly
good.
We
also
treated
ourselves
to
the
Burrata
from
their
Antipasti
menu,
and
it
was
fabulous.
A
big
serving
of
creamy,
silky
burrata
accompanied
by
an
off-the-charts
apricot
&
apple
mostarda
and
a
braised
treviso
radicchio,
served
with
tasty
EVOO
and
a
white
balsamic
reduction.
So
damn
good!
And
if
you
want
to
fill
that
last
spot
treat
yourself
to
their
Focaccia.
Some
of
the
best
we've
had
anywhere
in
the
city.
It
took
us
a
long
while
to
visit
these
folks.
That
was
our
bad,
and
it
won't
happen
again.
We're
comin'
for
their
NEO_NY
style
Genoa
Salami
pizza
next!
