I was trying to book an appointment with my family doctor today . I called there 4 hours. The staff hangs up phone on me at least 10 times in a row.I was not able to book appointment. This clinic has very nice, knowledge and professional doctors and staff but not the receptionists of the department of family doctors!!! They arranged a service there like it was in POST SOVIET UNION polyclinic. I do not understand why now one manage this issue ? They have to fire whole receptionist from family department and get another staff which one willing to do there job properly.

Get a new receptionist!! She is incredibly rude, confrontational, disrespectful and aggressive. I now have zero interest in using your clinic. I’ll be calling my doctor to insist on a new referral for allergy testing. Tried calling general phone number 13 times!!! all 12 extensions listed on the website lead to no answer. Number provided for call back to allergy clinic has no voicemail greeting, picks up and hangs up. A Busy clinic is not an excuse to be rude and disrespectful to patients. Next. EDIT: Breach of confidentiality calling phone number I did not provide. Now my extended family knows my personal health issues which I prefer to keep private.

I love Polyclinic from the first day when it opened doors - very convenient for patients and great doctors work there! But receptionists in Family department are very rude and not even trying to be polite with the clients despite the fact that many sick people come there and maybe their work requires to be more customer oriented. This is not the first time happening to me and my family. I will not recommend Polyclinic to anyone.

After have major gastrointestinal problems for over a week, I wanted to make an appointment to be seen by a doctor, as I could not get an appointment with my own family physician for over a week. The front desk said that in order to come in, I had to be invited by the doctor after speaking on the phone. While the doctor did order an ultrasound and blood tests, he refused to examine me in-person, despite my request. Being unable to work in my condition, I asked for a note. Again, I was refused because he could not do so with only speaking to me on the phone. I asked again to come in and be seen - both for the note and because I am really concerned about my health. Not only did the doctor refuse me again, he was rude and dismissive. This is unacceptable. I get that there are lots of patients to be seen in a day, and things are hectic. But we deserve to be heard when concerned about our own health and well-being. I will NEVER contact this clinic again.

Today, I have had a worst experience in my life!!!! Around 1400 on August 11, 2021, during my conversation with receptionist (it was the lady in the mid 60s) in the walking clinic, I asked her how I can see the MD to discuss my issues. In response, she mentioned that: "we don't accept the patients whose English is not perfect." I was in a shock. It was real discrimination in Health care! Believe me, to hear it in Canada - it is the unbelievable and unacceptable. I asked her: "What do you mean not perfect?" and she answered: "You know what it means..." I would like for the management to make note of it and make take appropriate actions.

Very nice and clean place. Saw few clinics under Polyclinic in this building. Staff is quick. There is a 2% credit card fee of each transaction which is NOT told ahead of payment. The receptionist - yes she is rude as other reviews lol! Overall it’s a efficient place.

Stay away from this clinic! I've been a patient at Polyclinic for 22 years. My first Family Dr. was Dr. Lew Plyam, who is the owner of this place. Then I've transitioned to Dr. Maltseva, with who I've been for almost 20 years. For the last 3 years I've had a high blood pressure and was proscribed different medicine, and was referred to the cardiologist Dr. Madan with who I've been over 2 years. Medicine that I've been taken for 2 years wasn't helping, cardiologist was not considering to make any changes. In August this year I was hospitalized with a blood pressure of 212 over 141. I'm a 42 years old healthy woman who does not have any other condition except high blood pressure. Hospital emailed a transcription to Dr. Maltseva and Dr. Madan as soon as I was released. Not Dr. Maltseva nor Dr. Madan called me since that time. I had reached out to Dr. Maltseva's receptionist multiple times and was promised multiple virtual appointments, however not even once Dr. Maltseva called me. Last week I tried to reach out to Dr. Madan and was advised that Dr. Madan no longer with this clinic - I was simply shocked. They left me, as a patient, without any care or options to refill the medicine I'm taken. So, I tried again to make an appointment with Dr. Maltseva, and again she was not available for me. I was given a walk-in virtual appointment with another doctor who proscribed a additional medicine but forgot to fax prescription to the pharmacy. He strongly advised to connect with Dr. Maltseva this week since my condition is in critical stage. I've been calling all morning and afternoon, no one in Family Medicine answers phones, and I cannot leave a message - mail box is full. If you are cindering to using services and medical attention/treatment that is provided in Polyclinic, think twice. I will be posting my updates daily until one of the doctors call me.

This doctor was very considerate and consistent with follow ups and showed desire in actually trying to heal my ongoing chronic condition when he first started working at this clinic. As months passed, he had became very rude, quick, impatient and even had the audacity to ask me in a slowed down shouting voice "DO...YOU...RECALL...THIS.. CONVERSATION...OR...NOT?!" in my follow up when I was on the phone in mid panic attack expressing how awful I feel. ZERO STARS TO HIM AND THE CLINIC. My name is not up for confidentiality but please find a different doctor.

I've had very few issues with the polyclinic in the past, but this past year, the service has been awful. I have been trying to get a referral from my family doctor for half a year now, and after two phone appointments, the referral fax still has not been received. Additionally, now every time I try to call the clinic to get in touch with my family doctor or their assistant to resend the fax, I can hear the receptionist picking up and putting down the phone as soon as I get through. This has been going on for weeks. I understand that call volumes are high at this time, but this treatment is absolutely unacceptable. No one should have to wait half a year to simply be referred for what could be a life threatening issue and then have calls dropped on them.

The worst place for a patient to come for a endoscopy, had an appointment at 12 pm arrived at 11.45 as per instructions and had to wait till 3.46pm on a empty stomach. What type of clinic are these guys running the receptionist said “ I don’t know why the doctors are not dealing with patients before you so plz continue waiting” after 3+ hours of waiting they started the procedure, I advice you to go to another clinic for endoscopy stay as far away as possible from these guys. I wish there was an option for 0 stars and now I can tell by first hand experience on why they have such low rating on google

The overall medical building is great! Your doctor gives you a referral and majority of tests, follow ups and analyses can be done on site, which is convenient and time efficient. Biggest downfall is how difficult it is to get a hold of your physician and book an appointment with the family medicine department. You are either on hold forever or leave a voicemail with no one returning your call. If you decide to physically go to the office to make an appointment they state you shouldn’t have and instead should have called. Receptionists/secretaries never seem that busy or pressed for time so it absolutely does not make sense why they can’t pick up the phone or return your call. A highlight is that majority of the receptionists/secretaries are very nice, empathetic and well informed.

one of the worst experiences in my life. For the last year and a half, the department of family doctors has been accepting only virtually, despite the changed epidemiological situation. It takes several hours of my working time to get through to the secretaries. Today it took me about 40 minutes to get through to the family doctor's office. the receptionist did not listen to me out. at the same time with me she is talking with someone else about the fact that she needs to go. After that, she interrupted me and said: I have to go. and put me on the answering machine. I've been calling again for half an hour and can't get through. The receptionists of this clinic are always very rude and not attentive. It seems to me that you should not go to work in the medical field if you do not like people and do not know how to conduct a conversation. I think the management of the clinic is aware of what is happening, because there are a lot of similar reviews left here.

No issues with the family doctor or the walk-in staff. The problem with the clinic is the Family medicine secretary team, where contacting a representative is practically impossible. You are on a caller queue for 20-30 minutes even if "there are no callers ahead of you," after which you hit a "ringing" phase that is to connect you to a representative. It endlessly keeps ringing, 12 minutes the last time I tried. Happens everytime I've tried to contact the clinic at various points DURING their business hours. If you get lucky, someone will actually pick up and immediately hang up the line.

If I could rate Polyclinic zero star I would. The walk-in clinic doctors and receptionist are both unprofessional. They don't really care about you, your time and your issues. All they care about is getting paid for each appointments. After a Doc gave me an requisition for STD routine check for both blood and urine tests. I called the receptionist for the results she insisted I have to see a Doc for the results. After waiting nearly two hours for the results the Doc told me only the urine test result is out. That I should call in next week for the blood test result. I called the receptionist the next day (probably a different lady) she said the results for both the blood and urine tests have been available 4 days prior. Finally, I was racially discriminated by a receptionist that speaks Russian (because I am black). When she asked for my health card she refused to take the card from my hand instead she told me to hold it close so could read it. After the Doctor printed two pages of my test result, I was told I have to pay a dollar for each page. When I offered to pay the receptionist a two dollar coin. She to told me wait for her to put on gloves before she accepted the money from me. I have never been insulted like that in my life. I vowed that would be the last time I step in that horrible clinic. RACISTS

Impossible to reach. I stay on queue on the phone for so long, only when there are “0 callers ahead of me” it hangs up on me. And this happens multiple times before I can reach the receptionists, with the cue getting longer each time. All other clinics are open for walk in now, but they have yet to open. It is very inconvenient, at least get a better form of communicating with patients if this “walk in clinic” is not going to be walk in. As i am writing this - I have been trying to reach them for an hour. oh and the mailbox? full 🙂 As much as i like my doctor here I will be looking for a new one because i cannot deal with this every time i need to see him.

This is probably worst clinic. The front desk staff are very rude esp. at x 294, pulmonary clinic. The front desk lady named Carmen behaves very unprofessionally and rude as if we have no choice but to use them. She booked my urea breath test and did not inform me, she says she informed the family doctors office and also says if my family doctor do not inform me she will call to inform, where as there are only 3 days left for the appointment and she want to have so much process.. First time I am seeing this type of procedures. Whenever a family doc refers the speciality center should keep in touch with patient, sending to doctor office and asking family doc to contact you with appointment is absolute stupid procedure. They keep arguing with raised voice and very gross manners. Totally useless. Probably owners of this clinic never even instruct them to be professional with patients and never even look into these reviews. We need to contact Health minister and Ontario premier about this behavior and cancel their license for hardship to patients. they just use Canada's public health care system and make money else if they go private to raise funds on their own, they will rot. The referring doctor offices say they send referral forms same way to all clinics and labs but in this clinic they take fun in harassing patients with something missing , never inform patient about appointments and keep delay procedures.

Yo is this receptionist trying to get fired? Stay away from this place if you have high blood pressure, the receptionist will make your blood boil. Rude as hell. I never leave written reviews but I seriously wonder how the receptionist got a job as a receptionist when you lack all the necessary skills to be a decent human being. Extension 295

STAY FAR AWAY! I recently had the displeasure of visiting Dr. Prigozhikh, the neurologist at the Polyclinic facility. He was incredibly unhelpful and rude. From the moment I entered the office, he was condescending, unwilling to answer any of my questions, and seemed to be in a rush to get me out of there. Unfortunately, I had to endure his attitude for the entire appointment. Not to mention the way he talked down to my elderly mother. He truly has no care or compassion for any of his patients or those in need. My visit was incredibly unproductive as he refused to answer any of my questions or provide me with any useful advice. He seemed completely disinterested in my concerns, and he kept talking over me and pointing his finger at me, whenever I tried to explain my symptoms. His bedside manner is atrocious and his attitude made me feel belittled, and like I was wasting his time. I WOULD NOT recommend him to anyone and would urge people to stay far away from this terrible doctor, and the extremely unpleasant receptionist staff.

The facility is great (5 star)... The employees make it 1 star. Want to talk to a receptionist? Call 8 times. Want to book an appointment? Wait 6 and a half months. Want to see them about a cough? Sorry, you must have covid, can't help you. Like, what's the point of having an A class facility, if you aren't going to use it. This is a joke of an operation where the receptionists (mostly) and, to some extent, the doctors, will do their absolute best to ensure you don't have a pleasant experience. The owner or manager of this place needs to go back to CCCP. Edit: to anyone considering this facility, just compare the amount of 1 start reviews, to all the rest lol 😆

Zero star, and Unsatisfied! I just came from visiting the neurologist: Dr. L.Corrin NCS, in this clinic, after waiting more than two months, suffering from tingling in my calves. The doctor was impatient, unprofessional, and a rude. After I explained what the issue, she kept telling me you need to define what is tingling, Although I explained what I was feeling, she end up saying: you said your profession is an architect and you have to be precises. It was useless, and wasting of time! Stay away from this clinic.

The reception staff are very rude and incompetent! They are very rude on the telephone and refuse to schedule patients to see the doctor. The biggest problem is that they do not want to provide appointments to patients that need to see their family doctor. My family and friends will be looking for another family doctor at another clinic. My colleague called the clinic to inquire about an available family doctor (there are at least 3 available according to their website). The reception staff said that nobody is available and quickly ended the call. No problem, we will go to another clinic, where patients are more appreciated.

How can a receptionist for a neurologist be so self involved, rude and unsympathetic? Why was she given this position when she does not know how be compassionate to another human being? This receptionist is a portrayal of everything that is wrong with our health care system. Please replace her no one deserves to be talked to so rudely. Her behaviour and attitude is disgusting and unacceptable. Your office will soon get in serious trouble for her behaviour if you won't take any actions.

In October 2020 I did my H pylori test here. Wait for test result for over 40 days (should be around 1-2 weeks) and the receptionist kept asking me to be patient and there is nothing she could do. She said after test kit was transfer out for analysis, the clinic cannot follow it....At the last time call I told her 'you must transfer this issue to a doctor in your clinic, there has to be someone that can follow up my case. The person who sent out my kit should be responsible to track it'. Then after one day she told me my result arrived several days ago but she didn't notice it by accident......so to summarize 1. clinic fails to track with external test centre regarding the test kit when the waiting time is over normal 2. the receptionist doesn't take good care of the received report. 3. The test procedures itself was professional & quick - recommended

Zero stars. The utmost disgusting administrative pesonell, especially some, not all, Russian speaking people. The are very few "old school" administrators who came with the doctors when this polyclinic opened its doors, but these carrying, polite people are slowly disappearing being extorted by pushy, careless "ladies" like "Masha". I was a patient of this polyclinic for almost 20 years and feel that it`s time to change the provider due to administrative low-end pesonell. Management should certainly pay more attention while hiring rude unfriendly people like the above women.

Terrible experience. I literally called at 2:40pm to ask if they take walk-in appointments, the receptionist spoke very fast and I could not hear her. I had to ask her to repeat what she said and she told me that they don’t book appointments and just to come in. I asked what time they closed and she said 8pm. I rushed after work, got there at 5:50pm, stood where it said to stand, and the receptionist did not even acknowledge me, I had to go up to her just for her to tell me that spots were already filled up. I don’t really understand what she meant by the spots fill up if she told me there’s no appointments and had there been a bit more communication regarding how things worked, I probably wouldn’t have come. Or went on a different day. Our healthcare system is a joke.

Some of the family practice staff are very nice, but then there are incredibly rude ones too. I just got a call from staff informing me that the doctor is not able to make a call today (which is understandable). She went on to insinuate that my issues are not important and that I should just cancel my appointment. When I refused, she raised her voice at me and threatened to push my appointment by over a month. This is unacceptable behavior and it is also not the first time. The only reason I still use this office is because of my family doctor.

I would like to express my great gratitude to exceptional attention from all Polyclinic staff to me and my wife . In connection with my most recent experience to find and schedule appointments I especially would like to thank very much Ms. Nadya from reception front desk. Her work and responds to my calls were very prompt, attentive, kind and professional. I believe that Ms. Nadya deserves the highest level of appreciation for her exceptional work. In addition to my previous review it would be my pleasure to share my and my wife great gratitude to your Polyclinic’s doctors and their assistant. Recently we have received from Grossman Family Practice notice about Dr. Liuba Grossman retirement at the end of June. My wife and I were patients of Dr. Liuba Grossman and her assistant Ms. Anna for more than 20 years, so I would like to express our deepest gratitude for the outstanding attention and medical care that we have received from Dr. Liuba Grossman and her assistant Ms. Anna. Throughout all these years, we met very prompt replies to all our medical needs and these needs were addressed at the highest professional level with the greatest level of integrity and compassion. We have been both lucky and privileged to continue receiving this outstanding level of compassionate medical care from Dr. Maximilian Mulakandov and Dr. Sviatlana Yatsynovich. From the bottom of my heart, and on my wife’s behalf, I would like to wish Dr. Liuba Grossman, her assistant Ms. Anna, Dr. Maximilian Mulakandov and Dr. Sviatlana Yatsynovich the best of the best in their and their families’ life. Please pass our great gratitude to Dr. Liuba Glossman, her assistant Ms. Anna, Dr. Maximilian Mulakandov, Dr. Sviatlana Yatsynovich. They all deserve the highest level of appreciation for their exceptional medical care.

Incredibly unprofessional. They cancelled once wtih a weeks notice, no problem stuff happens. 2nd time they cancelled was 45 minutes before the appointment (which is 1.5 hours away from me). Then all of a sudden I have to do a virtual appointment which they never mentioned before? Obviously they forgot to schedule me one then gave me a BS excuse about road conditions so they could cancel on me halfway to the clinic and book my virtual appointment. Bonus points for rude receptionist and literally 9 confirmation emails/phone calls/texts before the appointment (which I confirmed all of instantly). Definitely moving my referral. Go anywhere else!

H O R R I B L E !!!!!! Secretary/Tech whatever she calls herself left my elderly mother sitting outside in hallway when she was supposed to have standard ECG which literally takes no more than 5-6 mins if you know what you are doing! She preceded to put her coat on and LEFT without any explanation all the while my mom was still waiting in hallway. AFTER over an hour Dr. finally came to get her and did not even know the Tech/Sec had left! To say this stressed her out was an understatement and she is seeing a CARDIOLOGIST what a crock! Who does that? If they would like to discuss looking forward to their call.

The family medicine department is an awesome place to come to. The secretaries are polite and helpful, and they will treat you as you treat them as every one of us is a human being. The doctors are very smart and caring as they have their patient's best interests in mind. The immunization clinic registered nurse, Valentyna, is an amazing person and an even better health care professional. She is very understanding, helpful, caring and gives good advice. I have only praise for all other specialists like the lifelabs, pharmacy, optometrists, etc. The place is very clean and has a lot of parking!

I really wish I can post a black stars instead of one gold star. The receptionist nor the doctors don't care. They cancelled the appointment on the same day cus I didn't pick up their calls meanwhile my appointment was confirmed and there is email regarding the confirmation as well. Wasted my time getting of work early and drive down there during rush hour to find out my appointment was cancelled. Receptionist is very rude and don't even want to acknowledge me as a person. Gave me that racist treatment. I do not recommend this place what's so ever. Thx folks

Dr. Alex Peters is the worst medical doctor you can ever imagine. He will try to convince you that you don’t need to see a specialist even when you complain for 6+ months about a medical condition, never on time and is happy to cancel your appointment as soon as you are 5 minutes late. Stay away from his office

The clinic is for minor colds and knee scrapes. The doctor was very uneducated on anything complicated. The reception is rude and you can't get appointments sometimes for a week or two. The reception covers up for the doctors mistakes. Everything is very very slow and ignorant there.

Exceptional experience dealing with the Polyclinic! Nadia at the reception desk provided all required information for my next appointment, she was polite, clear in her communications and very helpful in all respects answering all related questions. It was a great example of a proper customer services. She explained all advantages of a new registration system including details of the text messages notifications. I followed my specialist to this clinic because I would follow him anywhere. Unfortunately, the environment here is much different. You are made to feel like a number. Zero patient service or kindness by front staff. If you are lucky to get the secretary on the phone, she is abrupt, harsh, and doesn't care to listen or help you. All she ever talks about is setting up another phone appointment because "that is the policy of the clinic". I needed to come in for a pap smear and was forced to do a phone appointment first. We basically said hi how are you ok see you when you come in. I now called to see about my results from 3 months ago and was told lab takes 5 months for these results. 5 months! What if someone really has something wrong? Lab is not in their control I understand but her attitude is ridiculous. Again...all she could say was I can make you another phone appointment for your results that is our policy! I said why do I need another phone appointment? If there is something wrong I would expect to be contacted and if nothing is wrong I don't need to waste anyone's time. This "policy" of phone appointments for absolutely no reason is a joke. Consider hiring some staff with compassion and people skills. Your reputation precedes you. I was warned of your environment before ever having to go there.

a little confusing to find, took my 4 tries to find the actual poly WALK IN as it was all family doctors, the receptionist at the family doc places were not the nicest at all unfortunately, but the ones at the walk in were. They are a good walk in clinic, i called ahead and booked an appt w the walk in doc but you are allowed to walk in no appointment as well! :) Doc was nice and lead my concerns in the right direction. Will probably come back if needed. They accept BC health card as well!

Never in my history of going to walk-in’s have I heard of staff triaging patients. Walk-ins should be addressed as first come first serve. My visit today lead me to being told the wait time would be undetermined because it depends on the conditions of the walk in patients before and after me that day. On top of that, the Dr. hadn’t even arrived for his 9am start time when I inquired at 9:30. The front desk clerk was rude and cold. You’re not running a hospital. You’re running a walk in clinic. Triaging doesn’t make sense. Take people first come first served. A cold shouldn’t have to be triaged over a scraped knee at a walk in. The Dr. shouldn’t get to pick who he wants to see first.

Terrible doctor, with no understanding of culture, privacy and professionalism. Can not believe there is a doctor in Toronto like this one. I wish I can change the past not to choose this doctor and never come to her for the appointment. Now I have to solve the consequences of her mistakes and other doctors not certainly sure if it may be corrected. Please, please and please again - NEVER GO TO ANNA!

This is a big medical building with lots of different doctors. I was very worried about the bad google reviews and expected the worse. I was there for a sleep specialist for my sleep apnea. Dr Perl's office staff was polite and helpful. There was also a cpap machine shop next door, which was helpful. Also saw a hearing clinic nearby as well as several other types of doctors. Don't be worried about your visit! The low google reviews might not be relating to your specific clinic.

I love that every specialist, doctor and a lab are in one place! Come once and do everything in one day. Just love it! Very clean, modern and nice place.

Dr. Marina Berg has been my family doctor since 2006. I am so lucky to have Dr. Berg as my family doctor as she is very polite and professional. She truly cares about her patients. Dr. Berg always listens carefully, pays attention to details and always follows through on every issue until its resolution. Our entire family are patients of Dr. Marina Berg and we cannot wish for a better doctor. Thank you Dr. Berg!

I am not sure where this all negative reviews are coming from... You have to understand that there is lack of health care professionals in Canada in general, and this results in wait times, longer wait times for specialty medicine etc. The family practice department (Dr. Jameel & Dr. Mulakandov) and receptionists: Kate, Irine, Arlin and others there- all are very nice and kind people, eager to help and assist. This team really helped my family to adapt in Canada, diagnose and solve some on-going health issues. In addition, They were even able to provide some translation services for my relatives who do not speak English. Thank you for your support and professional service!

I had a very good experience with Natasha Rechensky. She is the receptionist for the family doctor and she is very knowledgeable and helpful and an amazing organiser. She always knows the answers to any question. I was very happy and lucky to have her as a receptionist.

We saw dermatologist AKERKE BAIBERGENOVA at this clinic 4 years ago. My 17 years old son had acne. She prescribed him an ACCUTANE. She said - don't worry, it's just a vitamin A. We have never heard about this medication before, decided to trust this doctor, how the vitamin can harm, right? After taking an Accutane for 6 months his acne returned and she prescribed it again. My son started losing his hair in couple weeks. He is 21 years old now and still half bold, dry irritated eyes, dry throat, he is getting cold all the time, body aches, loss of focus etc. etc. Has she mentioned all these side effects? NO! None of them! She said - don't believe things what you read about these drugs! Ha ha ha...He was almost never sick before, had a perfect immune system and a nice blond hair! She didn't even ask what he was eating, suggested supplements or any face treatments like peels or anything else. Accutane right away! She definitely gets a good money for prescribing this poison to our kids! People, stay away from her, I will regret my whole life we went to see her then! After doing a huge research I figured out that thousands of people were damaged by this poison and they know that and continue prescribing this drug! I wanted to sue her but decided to waste my energy on healing my son, for now! Dear parents, never let your child to take an ACCUTANE! It's one of the worst drugs in the world and is very toxic in higher dosages!

Happy to have such an experience! Unfortunately not always you can see such an attitude. A lady (if I recall her name correctly - Christina) helped my wife today. She was really quick and diligent. The way she works along with the service she provided is really appreciated. These days it's not that easy to find employees like her. I hope she'll be valued by her management accordingly.

Terrible experience. The doctor literally was yelling at me, and I said why are you speaking to me in such an agitated manner and he says I'm being rude then hangs up the phone! 😄 I guess his ego couldn't handle it being asked a simple question as to why he is yelling and agitated and I retold the story word to word to college of surgeons as well as other people and they were absolutely petrified. I wish we all start recording these so called doctors because I am pretty sure they pass their degrees as acting as sympathetic and caring people. I hope Polyclinic has a recording of the conversation and listens to how this particular doctor spoke to me in a very disrespectful manner! His name is Mankaryous and if I have an advice to this so called doctor is that he goes through a psychological treatment. I am an ill person who cannot afford to stress out and the fact that I get terrorized by a doctor I mean the irony here.. I wrote to HR however noone got back to me but I hope someone investigates this person because he really needs to learn how to keep himself controlled. Just pathetic really when a patient needs to check the "doctor". I hope he gets the help that he needs, clearly he needs it more than me.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Family medicine team, especially Mia. Mia is always available to help and follows up with whatever you require. She is always attentive, listens and provides guidance. I appreciate you a lot. Dr. Remtulla is amazing and listens to all you concerns. I highly recommend them all.

Do not recommend this clinic to anyone. Dr. Mulakandov provides appointment times and then changes them without the patients knowledge, and makes no effort to accommodate someone who has to commute several hours to reach his clinic. His entire attitude is dismissive, and he doesn't demonstrate any real care for his patients. I will be switching family doctors as soon as possible, and do not recommend his practice to anyone else.

I am really disappointed. My boyfriend told me he went to this walk-in clinic, which is the closest he can find because he was feeling pressure on his chest and tightness on his chest area. It sounded like a serious issue over the phone so he went to this clinic but was told "That sounds serious, here are two numbers to call." If one recognizes that it's serious, why did they tell him to come back tomorrow IF YOU BOOK AN APPOINTMENT? It could have been a heart attack (since that's the common symptom of a heart attack, god forbid!). Even if there's a doctor in the vicinity and the clerk himself or herself recognized it was serious, why turn away the patient when he is already there? IF IT'S SERIOUS, WHY GIVE HIM TWO NUMBERS TO CALL, AND TO COME BACK AND BOOK AN APPOINTMENT. I know he is not the only patient. I recognize this is a busy and challenging times we are in due to covid but REALLY? TURN AWAY WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN A MEDICAL EMERGENCY????? I just don't comprehend the triage process here.

Receptionist is rude, ill mannered and should be dismissed. Telling someone they have the floor when they wish to explain something is not how you speak to the public. As well answer your phone and return messages. Whoever this idiot is she is causing a lot of disruption for medical staff.

I am with the polyclinic from the beginning. Never have a problem with anything I need. Receptionists in the family and specialty departments are great, doctors are professional. Like the walking clinic as well, instead for waiting for an appointment with your family doctor in about two months you got served at the same day you need. Highly recommended.

Ms. Arlyn, the receptionist, is very rude and always in rush and she doesn't know what she is doing. I booked an appointment with her to see the doctor, she gave me an appointment after one week and when I came for the appointment she said you don't have an appointment. She asked me to go back home and bring the card where she wrote the appointment. She does unbelievable things. One day she hanged the phone while my wife was talking to her. She told my daughter to call on behalf of me and her mother to make appointments because she doesn't want us to call her. She is very very rude and seemed to be unqualified and alway in rush with me and my family. We don't want to leave this clinic despite the rudeness of this lady because Dr. Housefather is very nice, kind, friendly and professional. So we ask the management to let us deal with another receptionist.

Dr. Housefather and his receptionist Maya are incredible. Maya is friendly and accessible. She is a nice person who wants to help! How refreshing! Dr. Housefather is punctual, respects your time and is a wonderful doctor. If you need a family doctor, look no further.

I found the receptionists at this walk in clinic to be very helpful and friendly. I was seen by a wonderful doctor, Dr. King, who not only had a great bedside manner, but also a lovely sense of humour. I would highly recommend this walk in clinic.

My experience at Polyclinic is a good one. Doctor Remtulla is a very kind and empathic doctor who wants the best for his patients. I am lucky to have him as my doctor and trust him with my health to be in his care. The receptionists are quite kind also, I really have no clue where these other reviews are coming from. Even though they have to answer to thousands of patients everyday, they still find the energy to answer each one with kindness and respect.

Updated Review: March 28, 2023 I have to revise my review. The receptionist at the front desk was very rude. I apologize that I forgot my mask and asked if I could get one. I was ridiculed and told twice that I was told to bring a mask. As I was waiting for my prescription, I noticed the other receptionist was much more accommodating to patients and just gave them a mask when asked. I was a bit nervous walking into my sleep study but Habib (sorry if I miss spelled your name!!) made it very comfortable and relaxing for me. He was great at showing me around the facility (room & washroom) and offered to adjust my room temperature, if I needed more comforter or pillows. He was great at explaining the procedure, what to expect, what he was putting on me for the study and he was very attentive and gentle. I am currently waiting to review my results with the sleep doctor and will provide feedback afterwards! Thanks for making the experience as relaxing as sleeping in a new foreign environment while being watched and monitored as possible!

Very pleasant experience for the past 1.5years with Polyclinic. The centre is very convenient as most referred services are all at the same location. Our family Doctor - Dr Peters is an amazing doctor. He is kind, attentive and always full of humour. I have never felt rushed on appointments and he always creates a comfortable space for you to discuss your medical needs, the polyclinic are lucky to have him and so are we!

I've had a good experience with the Polyclinic for the last 1,5 years that I'm here in TO. My family doctor, Dr. Peters, is amazing, and has a great personality. He's always been very helpful and attentive. What I also liked, is that if you have an urgent health issue you don't need to wait for an appointment with your family doctor, you'll be booked with a doctor on call (experienced that several times - called late afternoon to book, got a call back the next day). What is not very convenient now is that you have quite a wide range of time when you can receive a call, but that's the sad current reality. And I've never had any issues with the receptionists - they were always helpful and called back within maximum a couple of hours after I left a VM. I would totally recommend this facility.

Worst clinic ever. Staff are very rude to you if you don't speak Russian. Have no respect for anyone there and have ZERO manners in general. Would never reccomend this place to anyone. To be clear, my issue is NOT with the doctors, because they are great. My issue is with every secretary that works for each doctor office, they are all rude. Dont help you. And are very dismissive when trying to ask a question mind you they speak with you very very rude and have an attitude in their tone. Stay away from polyclinic because its been this way since they opened. All the russian secretaries are very rude and have no customer service skills. Especially if you don't speak Russian! I would rate zero stars but unfortunately google wont allow me to and i have to put as 1 star but in all honesty, this is the worst place ever!

In the current climate of health care, it is more important than ever to have a family doctor who is available, takes the time to see you in person, and is knowledgable in their field. Dr. Peters has surpassed my expectations as my family physician. I have been with Dr. Peters for over 2 years and am so happy that I decided to chose him as my doctor when my previous family doctor retired. Maya, one of the receptions is also thorough and caring! I couldn't be luckier to have this incredible support. I would recommend Dr. Peters to anyone who is looking at making a change, or requires a family doctor.

My first negative review on google! The staff hangs up phone when u call, they do that 99% of the time I called. The documents are not emailed on time (a week after, trying to call about it, they hung up on me at least 10 times in a row), the secretary complained that she has "16 doctors to manage, used to be 8" - not my problem, I'm a client! Worst customer service ever. I like the doctor but have to change clinics now... (I bet they don't even care about their rating on google).

  • 5/5 Irina 2 years ago on Google
Dr. Mankaryous is amazing! I'm happy to be his patient, you can see that he actually cares and wants to help. Thanks for that! P.s. It takes several days for receptionist to send any ordered referrals/tests via email, I hope they can improve that as majority of the appointments are now by phone

Completely arrogant and disrespectful front desk woman in Family Medicine clinic!!! Today I stood in front of her for 10 min waiting if she can at least look at me when she is done with her task. Absolutely zero reaction! After she stepped out and returned to her desk I mentioned I have a question. She just made a move with her hand meaning to get lost (I'm being polite here) and got back to her screen. In case if anyone goes there try to avoid the youngish asian woman with long hair and polished make up. It would be better if she polishes her work ethics and customer service!!!

**DO NOT RECOMMEND** The doctors come in and out of the clinic as they wish rather than the posted times. A few months ago the walk-in doctor was 45 mins late when walk-in hours start at 9am. And recently AGAIN the doctor did not make it into the clinic until 9:20am. When I asked the receptionist how many people were ahead of me her response was that she ‘cannot say because the doctor will sometimes choose to see certain patients before you’. This is not a hospital emergency room where they get to place the more ‘urgent’ cases ahead of others. It is a NON-URGENT walk-in clinic for which each patient is supposed to be treated on a first come first serve basis. Hence why it is a ‘WALK IN’ clinic.
