I have traveled with Toronto EcoAdventures many times in the last two years and I am way overdue for a review! I have loved every trip that I have been on, and I look forward to every trip with much anticipation. Javier is a world-class tour guide who's extremely knowledgeable and friendly and I wouldn’t travel with anyone else! From the first trip to Algonquin Park, I was hooked – the trips always make you feel like you have discovered something new for yourself(and about yourself) and in the best company possible! Every tour is unique and the routes are very well thought through. You will discover many beautiful spots you did not know Ontario has and make memories for a lifetime! This tour operator is a gem and I am forever thankful for all the experiences! Book your adventure now and you won’t regret it!👍

Update: November trip to Centennial Ridges was another amazing day! I wish I could write a 5 star review for every trip. Thanks Javier! Javier takes you to great spots just outside the city if you're looking for an escape. He is super enthusiastic, friendly, professional, runs every tour on time so that you can enjoy the most of the places you visit! I've been on multiple hikes throughout the seasons and there are so many reasons to love and appreciate the outdoors, Javier's attitude and love of nature is contagious and he inspires people to see the world through a new lens, one we are a part of and really need to take care of. Highly recommend.

Had the pleasure of experiencing the Pinery Provincial Park day trip. Javier took the group to a quiet, less crowded part of the beach :).You can absolutely see that Javier has a great love for the outdoors and nature. Thank you for driving us there and back safely! I look forward to booking other day trips.

Just wanted to share this awesome experience I had with Toronto EcoAdventures, guided by Javier. I'd done their Bruce Peninsula tour before, but this Algonquin Park trip was next level! Javier's passion for nature and his deep knowledge of Algonquin Park's ecosystem were seriously impressive. He made the whole trip educational and fun – his excitement was contagious. We explored the best trails, saw stunning lakes, and wandered through lush forests. Javier made sure we were safe and sound, letting us fully enjoy the scenery. Javier's friendly nature made everyone feel included, and we even made some new friends along the way. If you're up for an amazing nature experience, I totally recommend linking up with Javier and Toronto EcoAdventures. It doesn't matter if you're new to this or a seasoned explorer, they've got you covered. Gaby

I did the Bruce Peninsula tour in winter Feb 2022 and it was great and memorable. The tour is friendly with solo traveller. It is safe and you will find your companion. You will get the experience as the plan was mentioned on website -very detailed and thoughtful. Javier is very knowledgable about the place (he knows the right spots to take pictures!) and being cheerful for the whole trip. I would recommend the trip with Toronto EcoAdventures and would myself consider to take more trips :-)

I choose Toronto EcoAdventures for my trip to Bruce Peninsula and would always go with them again, to one of the multiple other locations as well! Javier is a great tour guide, you can immediately feel, that he's suuuuper passionated about his job, the unique wildlife/nature and and loves to show his fav (top secret) spots. Met like minded people there, the tour was so worth it and got to know a lot more about the area. Meeting point was easy to access, the trasnfer not boring and great suprises were wainting for us on our way! Highly recommend - no matter the season! You gonna see the beauty of Canadian nature there!

Just WOW! Literally did not know what to expect. Random hiking tour with a bunch of strangers - totally not sure what to expect. But !! It was so much fun and met some really cool people too!! From the moment we stepped onto the trail, we were surrounded by nature's stunning artwork. The vibrant colors of the leaves, ranging from deep reds to golden yellows, created a picturesque landscape that felt like something out of a fairytale. Javier was not only knowledgeable about the area but also incredibly passionate about the autumn season. He shared fascinating facts about the trees, leaves, and the ecosystem, making the hike educational and fun. The trail itself was well-maintained and offered a variety of terrains, from gentle slopes to more challenging sections. It catered to hikers of all skill levels, and there were plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos, and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. As we trekked deeper into the forest, the crisp, cool air and the sound of leaves crunching beneath our feet added to the sensory delight. And when we reached a clearing with a panoramic view of the valley blanketed in fall colors, it was like stepping into a dream. Javier took care of every detail, from transportation to a delightful picnic lunch amidst the foliage. Javier crafted with such thoughtfulness our experience and comfort. In essence, the autumn leaves hiking tour was a mesmerizing adventure that allowed me to connect with nature in a profound way. If you're looking for a way to embrace the beauty of autumn and create lasting memories, this tour is an absolute must-do. I can't wait to do it again !!! 10/10 recommend

We had an absolutely great time visiting Bruce Peninsula! Javier is an excellent guide, very experienced and passionate about travelling. He led us to a few lesser explored lookouts, and also gave us enough time to spend and explore on our own. Overall, a delightful experience! I would highly recommend, and look forward to travelling with Toronto EcoAdventures again!

Amazing Guide Javier! Beautiful Destinations! Great small group adventures that you can enjoy with a friend/family/partner or SOLO while making new friends! Completed my second ecoadventure with Javier, enjoying the beginning of fall. First trip to Bruce Peninsula in the summer was breathtaking. Great for beginners, we stopped at Inglis Falls on the way, then hiked and enjoyed a quick swim (toe dip) in the Grotto's cool clear waters. Second trip, Fall Algonquin Park was even better! Enjoyed a gorgeous day canoeing at Canoe Lake then off to an uphill hike to a very rewarding view of the parks changing colours! Looking forward to the next trip!

A fabulous experience with Javier and his assistant, Luigi. We were lucky to have beautiful weather which enhanced the three amazing locations we visited. Javier is a knowledgeable and engaging guide, we chatted and laughed the entire day. And Luigi is the best companion - always checking to make sure you are keeping up on the walk and inspecting your sandwiches on the lunch break. He also seems to enjoy a nice ear scratch, and there is a lot of ear to scratch! It was amazing to get out of the city for a day, but I never expected quite how awe inspiring the landscape would be. It was truly epic. The first walk wasnt difficult, mostly flat, although the snow required us to use crampons. The other two were extrememly easy, with amazing views of the entire area and then the waterfalls after only a few minutes walk. Worth every dollar, I would highly recommend a trip with Toronto EcoAdventures whilst you are in the area.

What an amazing trip it was! I opted for a one-day tour to the Bruce Peninsula. One could talk endlessly about the place itself. I believe everyone should visit it at least once. I must also commend the excellent tour organization, and a special thank you goes to our guide. It's convenient that the group isn't large. We had quite a friendly bunch. Now I'm looking forward to winter to book the next tour to Algonquin Park.

If you want a customized and thoughtful tour, then Toronto EcoAdventures is the place for you. Javi is the lead tour guide and he is so fun and makes every trip the best one possible. We went with him to Bruce Peninsula and more recently to Algonquin Park. Every time he exceeds your expectations and makes a regular day trip memorable.

Fabulous Killarney and French River tour with Javier. The trail was so much fun and Javier was a terrific and very knowledgeable tour guide. The day was exactly as described on the website. Javier was an amazing tour guide, a great mix of informative, professional, and humorous for our July trip to Bon Echo. Safety is an absolute priority for Javier, and you definitely felt it! One of the highlights was the 2 min meditation practice in the canoes where we all practiced box breathing altogether as a group. A very grounding experience that we all appreciated very much. This was my first time being on a trip with Toronto Eco Adventures, will definitely be back again to explore more, and will be sharing with other friends.

Couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience of snowshoeing, Algonquin park was absolutely beautiful this time of the year. Javier was great all through the trip; fun and encouraging and also, took great care of safety protocols. From ease of using the website for booking the trip to the actual trip; everything was streamlined and you get exactly what you see on their website. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to venture into nature and having the best time exploring and meeting new people. One of the best days; met some amazing people! Will definitely be booking again.

I took a solo tour with Javier and 5 other attendees to Algonquin for the Autumn Adventure. The other tour attendees were lovely, friendly and quiet. Javier was an incredible guide - he drove safely and smartly and was excellent on the trails. It rained on and off, however it did not affect how much fun we had and the beauty of the trails. We also had a pit stop at the Visitor’s Centre/Museum for an hour when the rain was it’s worst which also an excellent way to wait out the bad weather. I will 100% be attending again. Such a great resource for people without a vehicle, city goers who want to escape the city for a day or for a learning/nature experience.

Javier is a great tour guide and driver! He is very knowledgeable and easygoing. His videography skills are also top notch!🔝 We went to Bruce Peninsula National Park to visit Indian Head Cove and the Grotto. It was absolutely stunning! 10/10 would recommend Javier for your adventures! We are definitely going to be heading to more places with him!

Javier will bring you on an adventure, one that is almost hidden until it is revealed by his tour. This is like having a special mini vacation, without paying for a flight and hotel room! It’s a full day. I’ve been on 2 of his tours and had a unforgettable time on both, … the last was to Algonquin park in early October as the leaves were changing (see pics). Javier is very knowledgeable and passionate and You will travel in a small group, his tours just seem to be great for bonding as a group, Javier brings it together with the love of the outdoors that we all have in common. Bottom line … book a tour with him. 5/5
