It's good if you are new to the city or don't wanna drive. I mainly went for canoeing as I have no canoeing experience and was told experience not necessary lesson will be given and its a group canoeing. No canoeing lesson was provided , the guide(driver) just tell you how to hold paddle that's it and also two person per canoe no group canoeing, so be careful if both inexperienced person are in one canoe. I felt so unsafe that after few minutes in the canoe I choose not to go canoeing. The hike was almost 8Km track and towers, two short hikes could have been better. As the lookout trail is 2.5 km hike and has almost same view. The drive to the park was comfortable. Drive along highway 60 was scenic all the fall colors were there. Driver was good, knowledgeable about routes and places.

Reached out to Lenka for the Niagara Falls tour she told me to book for Wednesday originally then changed it to Friday and cancelled less than 24 hours before the trip. We went out and bought additional supplies for the trip prior which was a waste of money. I also had to call her and ask for my refund instead of her just issuing the refund. She also said she would give us recommendations and till this day never did. She went on vacation and her phone went straight to voicemail without no communication of a refund until I had to call. I only got an email that it was cancelled. We eventually just drove to Niagara Falls ourselves and did the tour by ourselves. This was honestly a blessing in disguise because we stopped by 2 wineries, did a little hike before arriving to Niagara Falls. Once we got to Niagara Falls we paid 10 dollars for parking for 24 hours, explored the falls and Niagara behind the falls, went bowling, and rode the Ferris wheel. Also, the festival lights you can do by yourself. It’s just a road with pretty lights. You can walk or drive down and take nice pictures. Nevertheless, I think it was cheaper going ourselves because we paid less than 150 dollars for 2 people.

I felt safe. Met new friends. If you don't have a car well this is it! I would have never thought I could go all the way to Bruce Peninsula without this agency I would have missed this wonderful opportunity to see what Canada has to offer. It was my first time experience going to one of the most beautiful national park and I was not disappointed. So common now give it a try and book now. I'm so glad I discovered this agency and thanks to Google lol A big thank you to the wonderful staff, you guys work hard, I had an amazing time with you all!!!!

We had a terrible experience with this tour company from start to finish. From the 8am start to the 930pm finish. Or the four hour hike or the the rudeness and lack of professionalism from the owner Lenka. The owner also contacted the other participants for there opinion without our permission and breaching are confidentiality. We have reported this company to the TICO. *Update, as you can tell from the response from Lenka which I've giving up reading halfway through...you can tell what you're up against. Her response says it all. Avoid there's much better more professional tours out there. Avoid!!

They cancelled the Trip less than 24h before it starts via E Mail. I haven't read it because i have no free Internet access in canada. Then they sent me an SMS at nearly 11pm when I was already asleep because of the picking up time at 7am. Wenn my phone rings to wake me up at 5:40am i saw the SMS where Lenka asks me if i read the Email. In the E Mail she asks me if would like to go to algonquin park instead which i would definitely loved to. But there was no further Information about it like where the meeting Point is and at which time. So i wrote very early and ask for more information...waiting and hoping that i can still do a trip. NEVER heard again from them. Cantact Get Your Guide to get my money back which luckily works good. But i am very very sad and angry about that company, the way of communication, no excuse and yeah... I want to say that everything would have been fine if they would just have answered me. But now i definitely can NOT recommend to book a Tour here. Now i see that this happens to many others too....stay away from here!

It was an amazing day trip after all (snow storm happened before the trip). The sun was so perfect with the nature. Lovely. Mike as our tour guide/driver was very good. He made sure that everyone in the group are involved. He does communicate well, very interactive. He was very good and the group were nice.

- The 5 stars are to recognize our guide Mike and his work. If it wasn't for him, I would have put 2 stars. - Just came back from my second tour with Travelling Chicken (Algonquin Pak tour). Mike, our guide was exceptional. He's really friendly, cautious and took each individual needs into considerations. Thanks to him, Me and my friend were able to enjoy this day despite the fact that our experience had started badly. Indeed, it is the second time that we go on trip with this organization and the second time that we meet problems with Lenka, the manager. For our first trip, she was a bit rude to my friend by email. We had to ask her several times to receive our itinerary and she also asked us several times to change the dates. Unfortunately, although she friendlier, we also had to face the same issue this time. We had to send her an email and call her to receive our trip information and we received it in the late afternoon the day before our departure (8am). Moreover, we were also asked to change our departure date. To be honest, after our first experience, we did not want to go on a tour with this company anymore but we mistook it for another one when we booked our tour. We were a bit anxious when we arrived at the meeting point, not knowing how the day would go and being afraid of being disappointed again. On our first tour, the guide was friendly but he was not invested, did not really show any care during all day and asked us for a tip at the end of the day - We had to send him the tip requested by e-transfer in the middle of the Dufferin Mall parking. But, surprisingly, in the end we really had a great experience and that's all thanks to Mike. He managed to make us forget about the bad admin management and the bitterness that the previous guide had left us with. I really hope this organization will improve and take our comments into consideration because it is really an excellent way to discover Ontario, meet people and the excursions are interesting. It's really a shame that the lack of management is driving away the customers.. Hope the best for the future.

We went to Bruce Peninsula for the day with Lenka. Such a great trip - 100% recommend. We had an amazing time kayaking, hiking and swimming, and Lenka was a super kind and knowledgable guide around Tobermory and The Grotto. Wish we could've stayed longer. We originally had another trip booked to BP with a different company, that didn't work out, but that turned out great as this trip includes a lot more.

I went to Bruce Peninsula with the Travelling Chicken in April 2022. This was my first trip with them and I got in touch with Lenka for a tour. She shared detailed itinerary, with all weather checks so we could plan well in advance. She was quick to answer all my questions! The trip included breath taking landscapes, hiking, flexible activities depending on what the group wanted, international group of people, and a comfortable commute. Lenka did her best to tailor to everyone’s needs. I would highly recommend them for your weekend getaway.

Hands down 100% would recommend going on a tour with the Travelling Chicken. Definitely 5 stars! I have done 2 tours now with the tour group and I must say both were absolutely amazing! Lenka is the best tour guide!! Bruce Peninsula is absolutely beautiful you must see it! You can swim in the crystal clear grotto which is spectacular. Don’t think twice just book the tour! If you are travelling solo this is perfect you will also feel very welcome and have the best time without going alone.

It was not possible to completely explore a place without lenka, without your help i was not able to finish hiking. Thank you for organizing this tour so well and taking care of all the aspects. Your caring attitude and hospitality makes me positive, stress free and enjoyable. Lenka i will always remember your contribution i never came across such a pleasant and friendly person like you. Took almost 2 weeks to get a reply before being ripped off on a 2hr dog sledding experience. You sent me an invoice the day before we were scheduled to go up, we tried for weeks to get the cost as well as available dates. I didn't pay for it nor went because I received the invoice and details the night before which was a 3 hour drive that tourists need to plan for.

Had an amazing trip with Travelling Chicken. We went to Bruce Peninsula last year on a day trip. The driver and the tour guide were super nice. Highly recommend for solo travellers!

This tour was amazing! We saw everything from Niagara Falls, maple tasting and wine tasting! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful and Lenka was so easy to communicate with. Would recommend if you are visiting the area - especially since they pick you up and drop off in Toronto!

We did the Algonquin Hiking Tour and had an awesome time. Big thanks to Mike, he is a great guide, helpful and friendly! The pick-up was on-time and we felt safe during the drive and hike to Algonquin. Thanks to Lenka for communicating the changes to the tour ahead of time.

Did the Algonquin Park Hiking and Canoeing tour—a fantastic day out. Canoeing, swimming, a small museum, and a short hike with stunning views and a nice waterfall all fit into one day. Tour guide Mike was friendly and offered to stop for food multiple times. It's a bit pricey, but if you're car-less, solo, or looking to meet new people, it's a solid escape to nature.

We took a fantastic day trip with Travelling Chicken to Algonquin Park. Our guide, Brian, was great and knew all the best trails and photo spots. Highly recommended!

Overall, the tour was amazing! Mini van was super comfy and they have everything planned pretty well. Our guide Joe is a highly compassionate and passionate individual and keeps you entertained with constant conversations. Highly recommended and worth every penny.

New Year's Eve with the Traveling Chicken was a beautiful experience! Adventure, breathtaking landscapes, wonderful new people and lots of fun are the ingredients of every experience with them. Everything was organized in detail, without sacrificing the flexibility and possibility to adapt the program to the needs of the group. Lenka is a helpful, friendly and always attentive guide and thanks to her every excursion turns into a beautiful memory. Wonderful three days. Super recommended!

One of the best experience I had in Canada touring with travelling chicken. Mike is an extremely fun guy to do adventures with. And the turkeys sandwich served for lunch was delicious. Would definitely recommend these guys to solo travellers.

We did the Algonquin Park day tour and it was fantastic. The organization was perfect. Mike is a great guide, very helpful and accommodating. The pace and organization of the tour was great and the chosen spots (trails, canoeing) were stunning.

I booked a trip tour to Algonquin Park and the experience with Lenka and Jay was great. They picked me up on time at the meeting point and once in Algonquin they had already an itinerary. It is really nice that they offer tours during the week so you can enjoy some of the places with not a lot of people around. I would recommend travelling chicken for their professionalism and their knowledge doing tours in Ontario

It was our first tour with travelling chicken and to Algonquin park. we had a wonderful time, everything was well planned and executed, All thanks to Cris, she is really helpful, supportive and a skilled organizer. She guided us all the places in Algonquin park and even took beautiful pictures. we really had a phenomenal experience and would recommend them. we would definitely go with them again.

Overpriced and bad service. The guide didn't care about our well being. He left us stranded while kayaking, especially when the group had various people that were kayaking for the first time ever. Plus he wasn't very helpful in terms of anything other than driving us back and forth. I wouldn't travel with this company again, not would I recommend others to.

You do need to have some experience paddling or kayaking and be quite fit to go on this trip. The guide was a good driver but was quite far ahead in kayaking from the group. Also, several people did not wear masks in the van and the rules were not enforced. Very squishy and uncomfortable ride.

I went with Travelling Chicken to Grotto in Bruce Peninsula and it was an amazing experience. As a solo traveler I met lot of new friends on this tour. I will definitely travel with this group again!
