Toronto Kalibari

Tourist attraction Hindu temple

👍👍 This temple is very nice & known for its daily kali pujo. I have visited during Durga pujo. Durga pujo happens in separate pandas ( tent) . Entry fee is free but you can donate whatever you want here. Nice to visit during puja times. People often mention temple, puja, visit, Durga, experience, Kali, worship, good, parking, Puja,

Very pretty decoration. Best part is one side church, another side is a mosque and front is Kali bari... I don't know where in the world wee have all the three together... It's wonderful.

It’s a great place for worship. Even though I can’t volunteer during Durga Puja because of pandemic, I always find peace whenever I visit this place.

Very organised. Went for durga puja celebration which was arranged in tent outside the temple. Bhog was distributed downstairs. Lots of parking. Will visit again.

I absolutely loved this place. The puja was great, and it was a very wholesome experience. People were helping g eachother out and everyone got along well. The food was delicious but just a bit too spicy for my liking but I can't complain about that because it was totally free. They even arranged for the parking by letting us park in the neighbouring buildings parking lots!!! I really loved this place and I dont have words to describe my experience. So if you're looking for a bengali durga puja experience then you should TOTALLY come to Toronto Kalibari

Toronto Kalibari is a peaceful spiritual place to sustain the calmness of mind. Very neat and clean. Daily puja is offered to Goddess Kali Mata. It's a very famous and renowned place among bengali people residing in Canada. The great thing about this Toronto Kalibari is it's environment. It is situated just in front of a Mosque and Church. Thus a complete harmony of many religions can seen over here.

Calm and peaceful place of worship. This place has a vibrant Bengali community and everyone is welcomed here. This place hosts one of the best Durga Puja and Kali Puja celebrations in the GTA area. Must visit for Bengalis

We organized a Chess and Carrom tournament and the place was ideal as it has a kitchen and can accommodate around 200 people. It's always memorable to visit the temple.

I have mostly seen mismanagement or poor crowd control in this temple. They have poor safety measures. During Durga puja this year one lady slipped from the stairs to the dining hall... thank God she was fine even after such a bad fall. On two different occasions they served us burnt/ stale Prasad. Also they didn't allow my infant's stroller in the elevator stating that elevator could not be used and I had to carry her in the car seat to the dining hall

Management need to organise things. Messy area, so that environment do not feel spiritual

I had a wonderful experience at this temple. It's a quiet and peaceful place, meticulously maintained. The prasadam and aarti process were well-organized. The prasad after the pooja was delicious. If you're a fan of loochi, be sure to join the prasad line promptly.

Very popular place for Hindu Goddess -Maa kali. Though it is a Kali temple but it’s also organized multiple events as Durga Puja , Saraswati Puja and many more. Please visit the temple once you get time.

Must visit place for Hindu religious people in Toronto. If you are not feeling religious, you can still give a visit on Saturdays or Big even days for a free lunch/ dinner.

Always special to be here. It feels like home away from home. Great place to worship and chanting mantras.

Visited for Durga puja celebration. Visitors went and left no volunteers were seen in the site to greet the guests. The event will be much colorful and attractive in future if organizers kindly look in to this point. However organisers deserve credit for organising the same with limited infrastructure in a foreign country.

Toronto Kalibari is widely known for worship, we went there for Durga Puja celebration. Expect a huge crowd, puja was done separately just beside temple, prasad/bhog distribution also good

In my life, I have never seen any temple divided into 2-3 groups. Each Saturday, there is a change in group. It’s unfortunate that people can’t worship Maa Kali together. I don’t know about the internal matter but atleast politics or grouping could’ve been kept aside!! May Maa Kali bless them with virtue and values!!

Kalibari is a Holy place for us Hindus and especially Bengalis. We live the place as we worship Maa Kali. In terms of the place alone, the temple provides yumm prasad every Sunday and in special occasions. But they need serious thinking on how to manage crowd.

Good Hindu temple in GTA. Well maintained but parking area is very limited. Sometimes visitors park their vehicles on roadside n get tickets for wrong parking.

We visited the kalibari on 20th August 2022. It's a wonderful experience to me. After evening Puja and puspanjali fruits and sweet prosad was distribut to all. Then everyone gone to the down floor, where we were served Mahabhog , which includes Pulaw with three items of vegetable curry and sweets. It's a wonderful experience.

The ongoing pandemic has brought some difficulties, which was best portrayed in this puja. With long lines and id checks. Definitely want the management to improve it next year.

This is a wonderful Bengali Goddess Kali Temple. The temple opens daily from 7 PM- 9PM Mon-Sat and on Sunday its open till 12 PM- 4 PM. Once can offer prayers and sit and meditate. Every Saturday evening there is a generally lovely Bhoj parasad served. The place is near the Malton Go station and has good public transport network as well across Mississauga.

Very good place to devote prayers to Goddess Kaali in Toronto. This temple is in Mississauga and it is open on some fixed timings. So before going there must check the timings on Google.

The auditorium is smaller in size compared to other Hindu temples in and around the GTA area. But overall a nice experience. Management could have been a little better, when it came to sticking with the timings.
