Went to the store on a whim cause it always looked empty on my way back from work. Told the server that this is my first time trying so what would you recommend. And she made this spicy concoction of rice noodles and shrimps. It was like a party in my mouth. Would go again

Was at the hospital across the street and wanted to eat something with brown rice, and some protein. I came to the right place. I was not really worried about what was on the menu, as I had asked the polite staff if I am just make a bowel to my liking and they said of course. They walked me through what everything was and explained how everything works. I added my brown rice, edamame, sweet potatoes, lemon grass chicken, sesame seeds and finally topped it off with a peanut sauce. Since I am always looking for a healthier option, I found that the sauce selection was a little Limited. Besides that, food was good, and for the $16 I paid, I ate a healthy meal on the go! What else can u ask for? Would stop by here again anytime!

Love basil box; it's like a cafe with meals. My kind of place to be. This newer location by Toronto Western hospital came clutch today as I was starving and literally shaking with hunger pangs, but I needed to get some work done. The overall space isn't that big, but still spacious, with 2 4-person half booth tables, then maybe 6 spots of high seating. They share their space with TasteT house (BBT), which is my favourite collab. It was empty the whole time I was there today, around 3-5pm. They have free 5g secure wifi, but be warned: no plugs!! The whole store is clean, and the washroom is well maintained. It looked and smelled clean. I ordered the Festive Box Deal for $18 (comes with a choice of 1 of 4 signature boxes, Thai iced tea, and Ferrero rocher). I chose the Nutty Chicken but subbed the sweet potatoes with eggplant (thanks for letting me sub it!). UNFORTUNATELY....the eggplant had a bit too much salty seasoning sprinkled on it. But other than that, the whole box was delicious and filling. I think it's served in a large box, as I was only able to get through half of it before deciding to save for later. Usually I dislike their Thai Iced tea at other locations (Yonge/Dundas) because it's watered down, but the one here was made just right. The Ferrero rocher was a great treat. Staff was helpful, to the point, while being kind and friendly, and accommodating. Thank you!! ALSO: such a pleasant surprise to see silog on this menu!!! I have to come back and try now. Is this location specific??

Enjoyed my healthy meal! Plus it felt good to pay basically the same as at the greasy fast food chain down the block without clogging my arteries.

This Basil Box is one of my favourite takeout restaurants! It is newly open so the interior is really nice and clean. They also offer free WiFi. The menu is quite healthy especially compared to other fast-food vendors nearby such as MacDonald’s. The owner, Brian, is very pleasant in general and helpful with any ordering questions. I especially like their flavoured soda! You can ask for less syrup so it is not as sweet as regular canned beverages. I highly recommend this location.

I got mild lemongrass chicken on spring mix and it was lovely! This is lemongrass done right! Flavourful and fresh!

Basil box is a nice place and this location has bubble tea which is makes your visit delightful. The price is good , the staff is so friendly and helpful, they are not impatient or rolling eyes at least🤭

Owner/chef needs to employ more work so your not waiting forever for your food. He has a young lady helping at the cash and gathering ingredients but only he was cooking. Had a huge line up....ended up ordering a drink from the bubble tea guy on the other side. Who managed to make my beautiful drink and cash me out and still was waiting for my noddles....which was also a let down didn't taste like much.

Food wasn't great & pricey. Order chicken silog. Wasn't satisfied. Meat ratio was bad. Paid $16 no drink included

Terrible, disorganized delivery. Ordered from the 2195 Bloor West location but it never arrived in >2 hours. Why bother offering delivery if it's never gonna reach the customer?

The manager at this store location is lazy. Unless you are getting something he suggest he will not make your order. If you order from the menu on the screens he says he can’t make that item. He has poor customer service and turns away business. I don’t recommend this location.

I'm definitely a regular here hahah! I love that all of the ingredients are fresh, you can modify your order according to taste or preference I.e, vegan, paleo, GF extra protein etc. I highly suggest going here if you like to nourish your body with a meal packed with flavour!

I love the food! however when I was there today the food staff was very unpleasant! I'm very disappointed in the service.
