Lovely Sunday brunch. Had the Toast Avocado. Nice salad with it. We had to wait a while to get seated but, I think this is typical for Sunday at noon. Friendly staff and accommodating. Our bill was around $50 only because Norma had a second mimosa.

I have eaten and I usually this but I did not have a good experience this time. Ordered eggs Florentine. The hollandaise sauce was made badly. Had a bad experience even with fires. I see that this restaurant has potential but maybe some spot check would help.

I think I may have found my new favourite brunch spot. I got an Instagram ad in the morning and was so sucked in by the photos I saw that I decided to go in the next hour. This place did not disappoint. The vibe was cozy and friendly. I worried about getting seated quickly because it looked like it was a peak time. Luckily, I got in within a few minutes. I ordered the avocado toast with eggs (asked for scrambled instead of poached). Everything on the plate was so delicious and perfectly cooked. I especially enjoyed the potatoes, so I might order an extra side next time and share it amongst the table. I saw a review or two saying the portions were small, but I found it was just the right amount of food. I felt satisfied, not stuffed. If you're expecting leftovers, this place is more quality over quantity. Will I be back? Absolutely!!! I'd love to try as much as I can from the menu. I think the owner was in when I dropped by, and it was great to see her working so hard amongst her staff and setting a good example for them. The person who served me today was also lovely. Thanks for a great first experience!

This was our first time visiting Toast on Bloor... Wow! Had to wait a few minutes to be seated as not too big. The breakfast menu was not overwhelming and we ordered pretty quickly. Servers were attentive and very polite as they worked as a team and not territorial over tables. A great team effort that truly showed when the meal choices was served up. This had to be one of the best breakfasts at a resto that we have had in years. Great experience & thank you to the team! Kitchen did a wonderful job with flavours through the ingredients they paired - Job well done!

Enjoyed a really nice breakfast here. The restaurant is very clean and quite quaint. Friendly service. Their pancakes are the best that I’ve had in Toronto so far! Would happily dine here again :)

Really nice breakfast place on Bloor and Islington. My friends had the steak and eggs and I tried the toast breakfast. For drinks, I had the hot chocolate and my friends tried the coffee. Will definitely go back to try more dishes on the menu.

Great and homey little spot for a great brunch. Great non-commercial atmosphere, family-friendly and charming. The hollandaise sauce was a standout, with the recommendation for the bacon benedict coming from the server. It was a great choice. The Toast breakfast is also a great typical “big breakfast” option. All this at a great price without the Toronto markup!

Had a really nice breakfast here. The potatoes were honestly the star of the show. The avocado toast was really good and the eggs were cooked to my liking. The portion was perfect. I will definitely be coming back.

I had great service and the food was good but the portions were small, particularly for the price. I don't think a normal person would feel like they had a solid brunch. The seating is a little uncomfortable and the tables are close together plus it is all open so you can hear everyone else and they can hear you. I don't know, it's all a little too cramped and close together. There are lots of brunch places so I do think they need to step it up a little.

Toast on Bloor has been on my bucket list of brunch places to try in Toronto for awhile. I finally got to try it out and it exceeded my expectations overall. The wait staff is so warm, friendly and helpful. The owner Daria is so welcoming. I tried the 3 Cheese Omelette all-day breakfast and it was delicious to the last bite. I never tried such tasty home fries in my life. The prices are reasonable for Toronto standard. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves brunch. I look forward to returning for brunch again and trying other options. I wish Toast on Bloor all the success and longevity.

This place had me with the size of their coffee mugs♥️ Good and fast service, umm-so-fresh food, ambient atmosphere and so many options for all kinds of diets— vegan, vegetarian, meat lovers and most of all, egg connoisseurs! What we genuinely loved — Eggs poached to perfection, cheese omelette with add ons to suit your plate, avocado spread on toast that was just👏 so👏 perfect👏 and most of all their “Parents on caffeine” sized coffee mugs (for the lack of a better analogy🤷‍♀️). The salads too were very well done without too much dressing and yet drizzled enough to flavour up your morsels. The home fries were fresh and tasteful All in all, a really good place for breakfast and brunch 🅿️ Parking right out front, ♿️ Entrance is wheelchair accessible 🍽️ Potion size was good for one person per plate/order 👶 High chairs available ~GoExplore ~HappyBrunching

I had a fabulous breakfast this morning at Toast on Bloor. My first time there and I will definitely be returning! I had the Toast breakfast plate and it was perfectly seasoned, and plated very well. Nice and warm on a cold day.

Best French Toast ever! The smoked meat that was a choice with the Toast Breakfast was excellent. Also the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had! The potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Service was good and the location was perfect. Right near Islington Subway Station.

Appreciate the clearly marked vegan options! Stopped by for a late lunch and got the pulled jackfruit tacos with home fries. The tacos were very generously filled, the fries deliciously hot. The service was quick and very friendly! Lovely, cozy space. I’m not often in the area but I’ll definitely visit again once I’m nearby next time!

Who knew breakfast could be this good? Toast on Bloor really surprised me with such amazing food! The eggs Benedict and the B.A.T. was out of this world - all fresh ingredients plus the flavours blended together very well. The coffee actually tasted really good! I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something different than the usual breakfast food. You’ll be truly impressed! The servers are very nice and attentive, and the atmosphere is really cozy. I will be coming here more often!

Very good food and excellent service. The food is always consistent and delicious and the servers, especially my regular Elora, are attentive, cheerful and accommodating. I like that the menu is simple and that there are vegan options. Great neighbourhood spot.

I can't say how much I enjoy Toast on Bloor. Took my partner here for breakfast. The whole place was run by about 2 people. Table was well attended. Food was fantastic. They have great art for sale from local Toronto artists. Second time I have been here I plan to go here regularly.

Great brunch spot that delivers consistently delicious food and service! You are seated quickly, never too busy, food is delivered fresh and hot! I usually enjoy their peameal eggs benedict and my partner usually gets their steak and eggs. On a hungry day, we share some french toast! However, my favourite is their house chips! You can substitute it vs having home fries (also crisp and tasty).

Spectacular service and even better food. The staff are friendly and accommodating, we came in with a crying baby and the waitress automatically showed me where I can heat up a bottle and seated us in a very accessible area. Alex was extremely welcoming and friendly and the restaurant overall feels very welcoming and homey. We’ll definitely be back! ;) ;) have the second one, asap!!!

On the hunt for an alternative breakfast haunt, my wife and I discovered TOAST on BLOOR, a cozy dining establishment with an tantalizing menu. The atmosphere has a warm, intimate charm that invites long chats with friends or loved ones over a well-prepared, satisfying meal and a good cup of coffee. And it delivers. I had the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Meat, while my wife had the Smoked Salmon version. Both were tasty - rich and decadent hollandaise, with just enough of a side salad to cut through. And it would be criminal of me not to mention the home fries, crisp and well-seasoned - an excellent addition to the plate. But as I always say, good food and pleasant atmosphere are nothing without a healthy dose of good customer service, and the service at TOAST was excellent. Our server, Nicole, was friendly without be phony, attentive without being obsequious, and professional without being cold. I did find the promise of live music in the early evening to be intriguing, as the venue is small; perhaps that's a reason to return for dinner one day. But one thing is for sure, we WILL definitely be returning!

Came here with a friend on a early Saturday morning for brunch. We both got the Norwegian smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was delicious! The service was great, location excellent and food was delicious. What more could we want for brunch?! Will definitely be back :)

Came in for a Monday morning breakfast date. Service was fast and friendly. The menu had quite a few options that piqued my interest but I went with the smoked meat eggs benny. The meat is so tasty, and just melts in your mouth. This breakfast was such a treat - so good!!!

This was a great brunch place with outside seating. Inside it's more of a bar type feel. But the food definitely surprised me. The staff was very accommodating as well and very kind about my requests. Definitely will go again!

Great service and very nice atmosphere. I usually don't eat that much in the morning but the food was so good that my husband and I ate it all and even asked for a fresh toast on the top of what we ate👌I will give 5 stars because I liked the place but as a recommendation, I would suggest to change the coffee brend or coffee machine. It can be better.

This place was excellent! I dislike the chains that have all the same menu items. Toast is perfect for breakfast with great options, and the service was quick. Our server was kind and held a great conversation. Will be back!

    1. The lineup outside for patio is terribly managed. No one is taking your name down to maintain order or even acknowledging the people lining up. 2. You get 4 little slices of sausage in your basic “Toast Breakfast- $12” 3. There was a hair in our food 4. Chef wears his mask on the chin. Overpriced, nothing special, bad service.

The food was fine, nothing special, but certainly doesn’t compensate the waiting… they are certainly low in staff.

Pretty good spot. Staff is friendly and the service is fast, good atpmosphere with local artists paintings hanging on walls (for purchase). A nice selection of various brunch options, and its consistently delicious throughout. Avocado toast is a go to!

Cute little breakfast joint. The food is ok - the benny and salad were good but the coffee was pretty bad (watery, no aroma, bland) so it evens out. The service, however, was really good given that we only saw 2 waitresses efficiently managing more than 10 parties. Diner sort of a vibe - good for a quick-bite-to-eat, not exactly for when you are looking to indulge on the weekend.

Easily one of the best restaurants on Bloor. Fantastic food, and excellent service. We were able to make various substitutions without any issues, and our server Paula was incredibly friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat!👍🏻

Food was awesome! Portions are a little small, but they taste great. Great service and ambience as well. The Eggs Benedict was particularly delicious.
