Delicious vegan Thai food. The standout dishes for me were the Thom Yum starter soup, the green curry and the Thai tea. The variety of vegan protein available is also impressive and you can tell from the presentation of the dishes that they put a lot of love into their meals. The other dishes were also delightful and I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu! The Pad Thai is a bit on the sweet side I find. The roti is deep fried goodness (delicious for sure) but a bit too oily for me. The restaurant is clean, cosy and quiet. The service is friendly and very prompt. I will definitely be coming back again. Just a note that the bathroom is down a flight of stairs and will not be accessible to wheelchairs!

It's rare to find a 5star rating restaurant in Toronto, but I'll have to agree with everyone else! Not a vegetarian and would still recommend it Ordered the pad thai and the roti. Pad thai was very flavorful, fresh and not greasy. Roti still remained crispy after a 20min ride home with a nice filling. Staff seemed nice. Didn't look there was a dine in option. True local and hole in the wall that I would order again in the future!

No wonder why this places has glowing 5-star review. By far the best Thai place I've tried in the vicinity. Although this is a vegan restaurant most of the dishes come with beyond meat (beef/chicken/fish) I used to be a regular at Ubon thai and this is now my new favorite Thai place. Would definitely repeat.

Vegan gem in Mount Pleasant Village! Service was was warm, friendly and the food was ready quickly and well packaged. I received a thoughtful little note and treat with my order. The Pad Thai (photos below) is absolutley delicious and the portion sizes are very generous. The prices are also very reasonable. Cannot wait to visit again, everything about this spot is fantastic. :)

Great Thai food. Amazing vegan food! Definitely some of the best vegan food found in the city! Like other reviewers said, plenty of flavor and especially plenty of basil flavor in the gra prao. The vegan versions of the fried egg and fish sauce were appreciated and suit the dish well!

Phenomenal. Ordered delivery and the food arrived fresh and very carefully packed. They managed to keep the presentation very appealing and the food was delicious. The intense authentic flavours blended together beautifully and hit the spot. Can't wait to visit them for dine in once they fully open.

Went there for diner where we previously booked a table for 4. There were not that many tables available for dine in but it seemed like most people did take out. Cute little family owned restaurant where the mother is cooking in the kitchen. I liked the Thai art in the space. We enjoyed our diner very much. The flavors were great, the chef was so innovative and on point with textures. The presentation was beautiful too. You would almost not think you’re eating vegan food. The portions were big. We all enjoyed our Thai iced teas. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The weird thing was that my brother was the only one to be sick after leaving the restaurant. We were unsure if it was from the restaurant or a previous place as none of the other 3 guests present were sick.

Took the veggie rolls - amazing! The sheet is so soft and their dips are so good. My main course was the “chicken”, tofu and cashews. It was also great, with interesting mushrooms and the chicken nuggets are so incredible. Their service is great as well :)

I ordered the vegan green and red curry. The green one for sure is the winner. So good that’s impossible to not to come back again. The Thai iced tea was also perfectly made that’s not so sweet like other places. Great experience!

Absolutely amazing food! I am not a vegan but I choose to come here because it is really that good. The flavors are on point, good portion and ratios, plus the ingredients are healthy. Vegan or not, I highly recommend this place! I look forward to trying more items on their menu.

There is a reason this place is 5 out of 5. I don't see this changing anytime soon. The food is delicious if you are vegan or not. Rich Thai flavours using high quality ingredients, you cannot go wrong. Also come here if you cannot handle thai spice. They have all the flavors but you don't need to worry about the sweat. Can't wait to come again!

This place is an absolute gem! Fresh ingredients and such beautiful presentation. One of the best Pad Thai and the best pineapple fried rice I’ve had in Toronto! Highly recommended!

This was a superb experience. We went there the first time and got cashew stir fry tofu and rice, with pad thai. The last time we also got those meals with an addition of roti. It was so good portions were big enough. However, even though roti was delicious, it doesnt deserve 14$. Thats almost a meal price itself. It is not big enough to consider it as a main course. Lowering the price, i may eat that all the time. However i recommend this place to everyone!

My husband drove by this place and came home and told me about it. I’m vegan and always looking for new places to try. By far, this is one of the most delicious vegan Thai restaurants I have ever had. I had my family over for dinner and ordered not knowing what to expect. 2 of the 4 people are not vegan and the thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The “beef” was delicious. We bought the pineapple fried rice (that my husband was skeptical about, but ended being his favorite), Penang curry (delicious), cashew nut chicken (just amazing, and the sauce was fantastic), pad Thai (could have used a little more flavor, but it was my nieces favorite) and ginger chicken. All of them were great. The portion sizes seemed a little small, but it ended up being just enough food, no leftovers. My only constructive comment would be to add more hot sauce or make it spicy (personal choice). I will definitely be ordering from here again!

A true hidden gem. We ordered the pineapple fried rice & Panang curry and both were phenomenal. Superb presentation. They serve you a little sample of these delicious crunchy spicy/limey snacks that they also sell in mason jars - highly recommend you buy one on your way out. Staff were super sweet. Fantastic service, exceptional value for the quality of the food. Cannot say enough good things.

The BEST Thai food I’ve had in Toronto. Incredibly delicious. Highly recommend the pineapple fried rice and of course, mango sticky rice. Love that everything is plant based. Our non vegan crowd also loved it!

Great vegan place with lots of vegan options not often found elsewhere. I got the Pad Thai and while it was a bit expensive for me, the portion was HUGE and is definitely more than one meal for me. Would go back if I'm ever in the area.

อร่อยมาก Truly delicious, rich, creative, flavourful, fully loaded with vegetables and well prepared. Finding this very unique Thai restaurant has been one of the highlights of ordering food during the pandemic. Never disapointing, adequate portions, always tasty!

I’ve only ever ordered on UberEATS but I absolutely LOVE this place so much. The flavours are incredible, the staff are so sweet and generous (we get free snacks all the time!) and I’m just so excited to have a vegan Thai restaurant in my area. Love it! Great job guys!

Amazing Thai food ! Best pad thai I've had in a while and it's all vegan ! The khao soi is very flavorful as well and loved the vegan chicken they had. Thought it was clever to use lemongrass as the "bone" in the "drumstick". With so many Thai restaurants popping up these days, this is a gem ! Definitely going back for more !

I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but I was happy with this place! Ordered the Cashew chicken and while eating at home, my vegetarian son who will hardly touch anything I give him, ate half my dish after eating his own lunch just earlier. And I didn’t feel guilty like I do from other Thai places which feel heavier. Will definitely go back.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. It is INCREDIBLE. I continue to have Joe and Jed make my lunch, nearly every day and it is completely worth it. Among my favourites are: Tom Yum Noodle soup, Fresh rolls, Spring rolls, Pad Thai, Pork skewers, and Iced tea. I feel nourished and energized for the rest of my day and able to continue my work day into the evening very happy. All of their ingredients are so fresh and picked up nearly every day from the market. I have recently learned that these chefs have had incredible experiences in some of the most well known Thai restaurants in the city and back home. So much love in their food. I only wish that they will be around to cook for me for decades. Once you try this restaurant, prepare to be addicted!!

RUN, DON’T WALK! Pardon my use of superlatives, but this place is INCREDIBLE! Super authentic and not as greasy as most other Thai restaurants, which I love. If only I lived closer 😩

I'd ordered from Yaowarat frequently during the pandemic, and it was a delight to finally eat here in person. COVID numbers are very high, so I was worried about eating amongst many guests, but we were the only ones in here. Staff were all masked, and we remained masked when not eating-- it was reassuring to see that they care about the health and safety of their staff and their customers. The food was phenomenal. The presentation was absolutely beautiful. The vegan chicken satay came with vegetable flowers. We got Pad Gra Pao with fried vegan egg and Chu Chee Pla Curry for the mains-- beautiful presentation on these as well. Almost too beautiful to eat! There's a million and one Thai restaurants in Toronto, but the food here is special. It's delicious and rich. The serving sizes are generous. And you can tell that it's made with such care and pride. Chef Joe was the one who served us, and I remarked later to my friend: "I wish she was my mom!". She is so incredibly kind, and you can tell that she puts so much of herself into the food and restaurant. She was the most attentive server, and the kindest conversationalist-- she kept apologising for her English-- which was good!-- and let my speak a little of my Thai to her-- which is bad! (I'm learning!) We were provided with complimentary desserts which aren't on the menu-- mung bean with coconut milk-- and with snacks, also not on the menu. Chef Joe told us that they're going to add new dishes in the next few weeks, and we'll definitely keep an eye out for that. This was legitimately and by far the best dining experience I've ever had. It was such a joy. ขอบคุณหมากค่ะ อาหารอร่อยเเละสวยมาก ❤
