This hidden gem in Toronto is a must-see! Especially for dog's lovers. Torontoā€™s dog fountain in Berczy Park has long attracted crowds of both people and their pets, but you may never have noticed a connection between the dog, cat and bird sculptures that sitĀ around it. The dog fountainĀ opened in the summer of 2017Ā and replaced an older fountain in the square. TheĀ 3,606 square metre public parkĀ located in the triangle of land between Wellington, Front and Scott streetsĀ was designed by Montreal landscape architectsĀ Claude Cormier + AssociĆ©s. The two-tiered fountain has 27 dog sculptures ā€“ and one cat ā€“ situated around, in, and on the fountain, each spraying water from its mouth in the warmer months. A golden bone sits atop the fountain

A fountain with sculptures of sitting dogs in the middle of downtown Toronto. The water gushes out of the sculptures towards the face of the fountain. The whole scene creates a cozy and pleasant atmosphere.

Visiting from Vancouver. This was on our to do list while in Toronto. Great little park in the heart of downtown Toronto. We're dog lovers so it was a must see. Fountain was cute with all the different dog sculptures. Top of the fountain is a bone. Nice touch for a doggy fountain. Check it out if you're in the area.

Nice relaxing place downtown Toronto. The area is safe, clean and vibrant. There are some benches where you can relax and do people watching. The fountain is cute, original and beautiful to watch. Around it the skyline is nice and it makes the fountain very photogenic.

The fountain in this park is an absolute must see if you want a little laugh at something adorable! At first the fountain is just cute from the dog statues that are shooting water, but once I saw what they were shooting at I could help but laugh. There is a golden bone at the very top!! It's a fantastic dog park to visit. Definitely recommend!

The Berczy Park Dog Fountain is a fantastic spot for furry friends to cool off and have some fun. The fountain features whimsical dog sculptures and a refreshing spray of water that dogs can play in. The design is charming, and the attention to detail is impressive. The park itself is well-maintained and offers a relaxing atmosphere for both dogs and humans. It's a great place to socialize and meet other dog owners. The park's central location makes it easily accessible and a convenient stop during a walk in the city. If you have a dog, visiting the Berczy Park Dog Fountain is a must!

Such a beautiful fountain! large, two-tier fountain with cast-iron statues of 27 dogs and a cat. The dogs are all looking up towards a large bone perched on the fountain's peak. The cat is looking north at statues of two small birds perched on the arm of a lamp post about 3 metres away from the fountain. The fountain also includes a ground level trough to provide drinking water for real dogs.[3][6] Each of the dog statues contributes to the fountain function by each sprouting water upwards from their mouths.

It's a beautiful small park. The main attraction of this park is the Dog fountain. You have 3 layers of the fountain. The concept is water from a dog's mouth Is pumped To a Level up. It's beautiful to see the fountain. It also has a few other sculptures. It's a free entry so why not just sit for some time.

Small park with lively music, Berczy Park Dog Fountain is a popular landmark located in Toronto, Canada. The fountain features a group of 27 sculptures of dogs and one cat, which are whimsically designed to look like they are playing in the water. Itā€™s a lovely spot for both locals and tourists to visit and enjoy the playful and artistic display of the canine and feline figures. If you plan to visit, I hope you have a great time at Berczy Park Dog Fountain!

This is a must see if you're in the area. There's no entry fee or anything, you'll just have to pay to park if you drive there. And there's some giant hand sculptures there too

Lovely little park with a beautiful fountain. Lots of dog owners with friendly dogs come up to you! Pigeons roam around as you sit down on the many benches available. Great place to just sit down with a great view.

This is simply one of my favourite places in the entire world. It's a mix of joy and calm and urban chaos. I adore all the doggos and can sit here for hours. I visit this fountain every time I'm in Toronto (3-4 times/year). There is no water during the winter months but the sculptures are just as fun. And during the Christmas season, many large pet-themed outdoor decorations are installed as well.

Found this cute little park a few blocks from my hotel in Downtown Toronto. The centerpiece of the park is a Dog Fountain. Itā€™s a great place to sit and watch the world go by.

Passed here many times when in Toronto on holiday. Nice quiet area before the commercial area.

Unique casual oasis for a moment pause point in the day, this location shares this incredible fountain sculpture creation with the city. Grab a coffee or snack at anyone of the many stores that wrap this area, a good book or casual friendship will compliment the many places to sit, chat, sip or read. Sitting behind the historic Flatiron Bldg this fountain is an absolute delight featuring many canine breeds as the share in the same upward desire to access the milk bone atop the fountain. Pay close attention however to the kitty on lower bowl as its distracted gaze has it set on something more meaningful.

It's gotta be the coolest fountain in town. There's all kinds of hidden Easter eggs to find in and around the fountain. Nice place to sit and chill. Bring weed.

If you love whimsical and dogs this is the stop for you. It will make you smile not only at the fountain, but all if the dogs that pass through the park. Parking a chance thing on street. It is a nice cool break from the heat of the asphalt and concrete.

Love this fountain. You have to see it during the day and then again at night. Amongst all the dogs is one cat. The cat is staring at something... can you find it???

Amazing park, always a seat under a tree or around the fountain! There are usually really cute kids and dogs running around, and it can be a bit noisy; not a place if you're looking for piece and quiet (but its also downtown so you probably knew that) There's been construction on the south side of Front Street for a while now, and construction just started on the north side of Front Street as well as where it intersects with Church Street; it gets dusty sometimes and a little noisy with construction. In the corner of the financial district, there are a few casual places to eat nearby. Some higher class diners and bars are also a short walk, while there is a metro supermarket just a block east for a nice easy picnic. Union station is also two blocks west, making it super easy to access from anywhere in the city. Enjoy the dogs statues in the fountain, and be sure to look for the other animal statuettes hidden around the park!

Find your breed! Youā€™ll even find uncommon breeds like a bull terrier. Super tacky and super fun. Must visit if you are in the area.
