I used to really enjoy coming to this location, I am in no way a pro spinner but my last experience really left a poor taste in my mouth. As you know the room is very dark with only candles and flashing lights, they claim the front row to be for “pros” only. I personally cannot see the instructor from the back so a friend and I opted to take seats in the front row. During class, the instructor singled me out several times telling me to “sit down” and stop trying to match the beat since I wasn’t getting it at that moment. I was honestly really embarrassed she singled me out this way and made me never want to return.

Easily one of the most anticipated reviews we've done in a while (bc some of the coolest people in our lives speak insanely highly of this place) and it did not disappoint. The classes are similar to other spin studios that are killing it in Toronto, like 6ix Cycle, SoulCycle, Spokehaus etc. in that they're set in a dark room, include choreography for a full-body workout that stresses "riding as one", and a playlist that's just as important as the bikes themselves. But what sets Ride apart is how they've combined these ingredients. The result is an addictive, super loud, heavy beat, hardcore AF, serious-about-sweating ride that will, more often than not, be in total blackness. We get it, now. We'll be back...after we buy a new all-black outfit and google SahBabii. Cool, cool.

James was the best! He made the class so much fun. This was my first time at this studio and they made me feel so welcomed. Very clean change rooms and bathroom too. Also the AC in the studio was perfect.

Pros: Nice studio. Great washroom. Friendly lady at front desk. Cons: Holy Jesus wear earplugs. My ears are literally aching. WAYYYYYYYYY too unnecessarily loud.

Best spin experience in the world. For newcomers: it just takes time to get the beat, even for great athletes who I have brought along to classes. I’ve been doing ride for 7+ years and still struggle on the fast jogs. It’s always a challenge which is awesome and the music / energy is unmatched. This is also a very well run business with excellent management. RIDE fam forever. ❤️

Have you ever had a near death experience, but strangely enjoyed it? It feels like an elite secret club, and some you accidentally were granted a VIP pass. Dar’s class felt like I maybe had trip into another dimension. It’s hard to feel powerful when you’re on display, but not here. The dim lights, and heavy bass muted the worry in my head so i can literally just ride. The best class I’ve ever attended.

Pros: nice space, great location, convenient class times! Cons: music is WAY too loud (like, instructor was screaming into their headset and I had no idea what they were saying) and not the most welcoming environment for beginners.

I went to my first Ride class yesterday for the #ALLANAXRIDE event (which I hope they start to do more regularly!) I really preferred this place over Soulcycle. The front desk girls were SO welcoming and sweet. I never once felt uncomfortable. They helped us get settled into our bikes and the class itself was really focused on following the beat rather than just going as fast as you can. I liked that we were told to stop pedalling when it was time to use arm weights, at Soulcycle you have to do both at the same time and it’s just really intense. Overall, if you’re looking for a spin spot that is good vibes and more laid-back (but still a kick-butt workout) I’d recommend Ride!

Awesome classes with tons of options. Emily is my favorite for an early morning ride! She is super energetic and personable. I love that she gives you multiple options depending on your level or how you’re feeling. 🫶

Love this studio! It's definitely the chicest spinning studio I've ever been to. I feel cool just being there lol. The rides are challenging but the instructors do a great job pushing you through. I'm a spinning beginner but I've been able to follow along with the rest of the class, and the instructors made themselves very available to answer questions I had. I feel euphoric after finishing an early-morning spin class at Ride, and ready to conquer the rest of the day.

Great local spin studio, with super central location in Toronto! All the instructors are amazing truly, but my favourites are Tracy, Emily P. And Kyle. It’s good to try out a few classes to see what instructors work for you! Such a good spot to disconnect a bit and get in a really solid workout. Very loud so earplugs recommended too!

Lily's class is not for the faint of heart but is always enjoyable. I really love the studio and vibe around ride cycle Ossington.

I am writing this just to give some love to Marlon. I've been to some other gyms spin class and the instructors were super mean, or unpleasant or just didn't feel as welcoming to some of us who aren't super fit (yet). But Marlon's class? Everyone is welcome. Not only does he have THE BEST music choices, he's super chill while also getting us to do the best we can. You won't find a more welcoming space than this. The classes are so good that even when you're exhausted, you wish it would go on for another hour.

Loved the experience- but beware, this felt like a more advanced spin studio! Very rapid instructions and choreography 😅

Loved the experience!! For my first ride, the team at the desk was super helpful to get me set up and patient through my questions. Elizabeth is a rockstar! Love her attention, pace and style throughout the class.

This place is fantastic. The class schedule is awesome, even if the only time you can attend is 6am. Classes fill up fast, but it's nice that you can reserve your bike up to a week in advance. The instructors are great. Sometimes the music can get a bit too loud to hear the instructor, but it depends on the class. The facilities are exceptionally clean; shampoo, face wash, styling products, hair dryers and fresh towels are all provided. The staff are always friendly and available to answer any questions you have. Thumbs up.

This is the best spin class in town! The energy in that dark room really pushes you to leave it all on the bike and you're guaranteed to be dripping in sweat from a stellar workout. The instructors are super cool, the music is energetic and the change rooms are always spotless. 5/5 stars and would recommend to ALL my friends!

This place has touched my soul like no other. I never used to understand the spin culture hype but then I decided to try and I GET IT. Great teachers, amazing staff, and killer classes.

My husband & I drive out from Kleinburg every Sunday to RIDE with Emily. Unreal experience, totally worth the 45 min drive every week! Can't wait for next Sunday!

Amazing energy in this space. Super clean, accommodating and friendly. Great music and people—especially the owner Ashley Ander. She personally assisted me onto the bike and would check in to see how I was doing throughout the class. Earlier this year, she made it possible for me to experience RIDE despite my physical disability/limitation and I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend joining or experiencing at least once! Grateful to have experienced pure moments like this.
