Amazing park with so many things around it! There are work out machines that you can use throughout the year but make sure you sanitize them before and after each use! Be careful of the geese 😂

A great park near the lake and creek. The green grass is maintained. There is a play structure, baseball field, soccer field, outdoor exercise equipment and a paved trail within this park. A fantastic location for differing outdoor events.

Lovely park with paved trails that are great for walking, biking, and running. There are 5 or 6 fitness stations around the park with brand new equipment and there’s a huge play structure for kids as well. One of the bridges connects to the path around loafers lake. You can go north or south along the Etobicoke creek trail from here.

Loved the quaint little walk. There are lots of little off-trail paths to enter Etobicoke Creek including a hidden one that has a small waterfall. The lake is nice but a good bit is covered in algae. Lots of geese and ducks. There was a pair of beavers scavenging around the shore for greens and a snapping turtle that chased some geese.

I moved from Kitchener to Brampton just over a year ago and although I'm not a fan of Brampton, this area has some great paved bike and walking paths. By Loafer's Lake, there's a soccer or cricket pitch as well as several exercise stations. My fiancee and I go bike riding along here and stop at the stations for short workout intervals. There whole area is lush with trees and vegetation. There are numerous species of small wildlife as well as birds; species vary from geese to ducks, Cardinals to Woodpeckers. There's also a few small lakes and streams occupying this pristine area. Along the paths, you will encounter all manner of happy, friendly, species and nationalities of humans.

Very pleasant walking trails and beautiful environment. One stain through it all is that bicycle user rarely make use of their audible warning device. So Seniors...be aware!

I enjoy the trails and the man made lake. It is always so relaxing and pleasurable to see God's creation. The various animals, birds was a sight to see. Yesterday, I saw the largest Beaver. However, I was slow to capture it, but I caught the tail end. Enjoy 🌺🙏🏽

Awesome park. Great playground for kids, asphalted path is great for running / walking, baseball diamonds, couple soccer fields, mature trees, and lots of flora and fauna (subject to seasonal changes of course).

Didn’t even walk the whole thing, but I’ve been twice. In the summer you can see the coy fish, and the turtles in the water. A good distance to walk.

Awesome park. Long and seanic trail along the lake and water stream. Multiple kids play area.

  • 3/5 Abraham G. 1 year ago on Google
Big open space but not much to do for the kids. Playground area is insufficient for the amount of people who use it and too small for all of the space. 2 unused or barely used soccer fields plus one softball field make up the area. The weight training circuit is ok

Nice walking location nestled in canopy o trees with cool breeze and wild life like no other spot in Brampton. Don't feed the geese. Feed your soul and enjoy tranquility. Nice park over the north bridge on paved trail with excercise equipment stations to aid in your revitalization. Let the stream melt your anxiety. Its even nice when it rains. Soon a water park for the wee ones at the recreation centre. Enjoys. Yours truly. Bramptons bicentennial trail master, The Oracle........TGT

It's a nice and well maintained park. It's pretty flat so you don't have to worry about your kids that they will go uphill or downhill or be away from your sight. It's a nice park to relax and chill

Such a beautiful park, its very nice and calming to walk around at and watch the fall leaves fall! Especially on the day I visited (November 5th, 2022) it was 25⁰C today, and it was a lovely walk. Ended up walking 7 kilometers and loved every single second of it!

Beautiful place and a lovely walk.the lake is small . There is also a river flowing parallel to the trail. Crossing the bridge take u to the park. Looks like there is also a splash pad.. hopefully it’s functional in summers . There is a gazebo to look around .the walk is adjacent to Cyril library 📚

I really like this place. The lake area is just beautiful for duck, Goose and turtle watching. Cardinals out and about as well.

Exercise machines along the trail A creek that runs through the park that is relaxing to look at Ample space for children to play in the playground A splash pad is also situated in the area I also saw a bunch of wild flowers while walking

Love this park, great location too. My kids are 3 and 4 and this is easily their favourite park in the area. It’s big enough that it doesn’t get crowded often but there’s also the trail that runs around the park, huge fields and the trail around the lake for a nice stroll too. Only problem I have is there’s no way to take my kids to the bathroom when they’re playing and “really have to go”. I’ve witnessed a few “accidents” and my kids have definitely had an accident while trying to rush away from the park too. a porta potty or two for the kids at the park might not be a bad idea.

It is native to the arctic and temperate regions of North America, and it is occasionally found during migration across the Atlantic in northern Europe. It has been introduced to France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, New Zealand, Japan, Chile, Argentina, and the Falkland Islands.

Went there for an engagement party. Surprised to see that such a nice place exist. Nice environment with lots of parking. Both inside and outside the building cleaned up. The washrooms kept clean. Peaceful area. If having a small get together, Loafer's lake should be your next visit.

Last time i went there, couldnt find the lake plus there was construction going on

  • 5/5 Irvinder S. 3 years ago on Google
There construction around it at the moment, blocking entrance to the park. You can park further away and walk into the park through little room left by construction workers. A nice park to go to for a little walk. Connections to other trails are also there.
