We found a decent place to lease by the lake and stay here year around. For the last three years. These pictures are from my back yard. Excellent beautiful natural sometimes the lake can get busy. People are friendly around here, everyone waves unless they are from the city(something I wasn't used to). Weather wise you need to pay attention to the radar and warnings, high winds and an ice tsunami like situation forced us to evacuate 2 years ago when lake ice almost crashed into our house. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Lake Simcoe is a huge lake, lots of fishing and a great place to settle down around.

Lake Simcoe is an absolute gem and a must-visit destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Located in Ontario, Canada, this stunning lake offers breathtaking views, crystal-clear waters, and a wide range of recreational activities for people of all ages. One of the things I love most about Lake Simcoe is the tranquility and peacefulness of the area. Whether you're lounging on the beach, fishing, or kayaking, there's a sense of calm and serenity that envelops you, making it the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. In addition to the beauty of the lake itself, there are also many fantastic parks and trails in the area, offering opportunities for hiking, biking, and wildlife watching. The lake is also home to a variety of fish, including lake trout, whitefish, and perch, making it a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts. The local communities around Lake Simcoe are also worth exploring, with charming towns and villages that offer unique shops, restaurants, and cafes. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a fun family vacation, Lake Simcoe truly has something for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Lake Simcoe. Its natural beauty, abundance of activities, and welcoming community make it a perfect destination for anyone looking to escape and enjoy the great outdoors

This is a really great lake. There is a big body of water for lots of people to go in their boats and fish or just go for a cruise. There are cottages around the lake that you can rent as well.

Great place to go fishing and ice fishing. There are a lot of different species and different sized fish to catch, great community, and nice people to rent out huts from for ice fishing.

One of Ontarios beauties. Clean, clear water with a variety of stones on the floor, showing the areas history and change over many centuries. Great place to fish, boat, swim, ect.

Impressively huge lake. Great place for water sports and fishing, but for general swimming, water quality could be better.

This is the best school in the district. The teachers here may seem fishy but they can sea eye on many issue. You would think the curriculum would be watered down but shore enough it's smooth sailing for all. You can really dip your toes in it. They have unwavering integrity. Wat-a school

A place that feels very fresh and natural, the lake is clear and the early summer breeze is blowing. Many families are here by the beach, playing games and eating barbecue. The air is filled with the smell of happiness. There were also people who came with motorboats, and the faces of adults and children were full of anticipation for summer, which has finally arrived. You can park your car at a place where you can pay and then park at the parking spot at the pier. It's a good place for families to go on a short trip. Tickets are $21 for families.

Huge lake with many spots to launch a boat from. Many beaches. In the winter there is tons of ice fishing. It's a really busy body of water. There is a hole cut out for cold was dipping as well.
