Its a very beautiful park. Just next to downtown. The trees, tracks everything is super nice. Cyclist track is also there. Autumn season colors are the best here.

Also known as Wesley Brooks Conservation Area is a great place for everyone. However, need to be careful of the cyclists as a lot of them are just going way too fast even though the paths are so supposed to be shared with everyone. Yet I had to pull my kids over many times because they don't even slow down or stop even for little kids. Some don't even give warnings that they are coming. Still the kids enjoyed the boardwalk and the playground.

I love this park. You have it all. It has a beautiful trail along Holland River. Park is specious and you can picnic. It’s great for kids. Great for walking pets. It’s great to spend time with friends and family there. It’s also beside Main Street in Newmarket so you have access to all amazing coffee shops, restaurants and stores. There always some kind of an event happening there during summer. This park has it all. Picnic area, trails, playground, river, restaurants, coffee shops and more

It was early December and it was overcast. It was not busy on a weekday Friday. Went along the east side of the lake, continued after the first bridge, to the boardwalk. Crossed the second bridge, then came back from the west side of the lake. The loop was pretty short and easy.

A nice and easy walk in winter, completed walking around the park in 45 mins. There was a small waterfall in the icy river . Amazing!

Beautiful park with easy trails around, perfect place for walking, cycling and birds watching. Historic Main Street Newmarket is very closed to this park. Good spot for birds watching. My favorite place at Newmarket <3

2022 October 4β˜… Fairly lake park runs along the river and as such, has multiple bridge crossings. The park is part of the Tom Taylor Trail which runs about 7 or 8 kilometres North to South. Within the park, you'll come across gazebos, benches and Kilometre Trail Markers. There's markers use natural elements, art is inspired by the environment and the native Ojibwe ancestors. 10 trail markers in total will enhance your experience and help track your journey along our trail system. Free Parking within the park or along the side streets. A playground nearby.

Well it's so much different than when I was in high school...the first time after?? a while (trying not to age myself here) it was dark and I thought I was lost. I just went back during daylight and what a nice trail and I loved the wood sculptures, and having the bathrooms available (and clean too), was a nice find! Worth the walk for sure!

Beautiful park along the water in the heart of Newmarket. Tranquil paths and shelters winding along both sides of the lake with bridges connecting the two sides. Ample parking and close to the shopping center of Historic Newmarket.

The park is beautiful, and there is a great trail that crosses the lake across the park. The park is also a great place for you to walk your dog. There is also a nice little playground in the park that your kids will enjoy. Additionally, there are a few spots where you can enjoy a picnic in the park.

Very nice park. Enjoyed the Artisan Festival. The walking paths are nice. Was disappointed however that the washrooms were up a hill on the grass and appeared to have a step into them, which didn't appear to be wheelchair accessible.

I have been visiting the park for the last 20 yrs. I have notice major improvements and more equipment added to the kids park. Plenty of parking from both Cane pkwy. and from Main street. Beautifully maintained grass, trees and trails. Perfect for bringing young children and for All ages.

Rest assured you'll lay your ego aside when the kids, girlfriend, boyfriend husband, or wife ask to go somewhere, for a walk, or to the park. Or even what do birds do mom? / Dad? Let's go for a ride I'm feeling sluggish. Fairy lake is the place where I'll go! A lovely environment with all kinds of people be a celebration of any kind, a peaceful date with the one you cherish deeply, to collect your thoughts, or get your physical gain in around your busy schedule. Mad love all over and around Fairy Lake.

Beautiful place to walk around in the downtown Newmarket area near Main street. The park and pond area has a nice path you can follow quite far on different sides of the pond. Great for walking or biking in any season. You can even stop by Main street after to check out the many shops near by.

Newmarket does parks very well and this one is included. Paved recreational trails, lots of shade from mature trees, kids play equipment, picnicking area and all kept very clean and tidy. Our dog loves walking there to meet all the other dogs.

A great walking area in the southeast area of Newmarket. Great trails, children's playground, easily accessible. Carpark lots from the south and the east. Gem in the centre of urban region. Good for all ages. Paved paths all along near some streams but no forest.

One of the highlights of this park is the well-maintained trail that winds its way through the lush greenery. Whether you're an avid walker, a jogger, or simply someone who enjoys a leisurely stroll, the trail offers a serene and picturesque setting. With every step, you'll find yourself surrounded by a canopy of towering trees that provide ample shade on sunny days. The gentle rustling of leaves and the occasional chirping of birds create a soothing ambiance that truly connects you with nature. Families with children will appreciate the thoughtfully designed playground within the park. Equipped with a range of engaging and safe play structures, the playground offers endless fun and excitement for kids of all ages. Parents can relax on nearby benches while keeping a watchful eye on their little ones, knowing that they are in a secure and well-maintained environment.

Nice small park by Fairy Lake at the heart of Newmarket with Tom Taylor Trail going through the park.

One of the best parks in Canada. Every one will enjoy the place. There's ample parking space. It's a perfect place for families get together. There's a butterfly park, where people release butterflies in memory of those who have departed. We also read why the fishes and birds should not be fed. The instructions drive home the point that feeding the birds will discourage them from migrating. Given an opportunity, I would visit this place again and again.

Beautiful park in the heart of Newmarket. The biking, walking trail is well used. It connects to an extensive network of walking/biking trails. A peaceful place to relax. Yes, that is a manhole cover in the middle of the grass field. You don't see that very often.

I've lived here most of my life. Always enjoyed fairy Lake

It's always great when municipalities invest in public green spaces. Fairy Lake has so many ways to enjoy being outdoors. The picnic table worked for our group. I saw others biking or rollerblading. Someone else was napping in a hammock. There is also more than one playground.
