The agent at Desk #1 was very helpful with ensuring I had all the proper documents to transfer the vehicle ownership into my name. When she realized I was missing one signed document to keep the plates, she said they could hold my ticket open until I could get it signed by the executor & come back. When she saw that I'd returned with the signed document, she waved me over to complete the transaction. She made everything go smoothly for which I'm grateful.

I personally find this service very inefficient and slow and I feel like we are in a third world.country because they license is mailed 4 weeks later wow wow and for the money we paid.. they should issue it right way . In other countries you get your card same day on the spot..

They have a good waiting system min place you can register on your smart devices or use the computer. Texting is a great feature as I was able to get some shopping done before my appointment. It even tells you the order when you click on the link and where to go for a seat! From there the process is swift. Great experience overall!

Fantastic service! It is located on the second floor, inside the Canadian Tire. You don’t need an appointment before going to the location, but you do need to sign in at the entrance to the line EITHER using their computer, or scanning the QR code. This booking system was reliable in letting me know my place in line, as well as how long I would be waiting for, which for me was only 30 mins. Staff were knowledgeable and helped me out with what I needed. Definitely recommend this location!!!

Had a super easy time updating my license this morning. Checked in before the store opened. Had hands full with paperwork and ID, so wasn't easy to have phone handy for when they "called" me to counter. But still simple. I was shocked they're taking pictures again, so another bad hair day picture for my license, but at least it's finally done

Friendly, quick service. Good use of technology for a waiting queue system. Might be helpful to make it very clear(even more so) how to scan the qr code for older ppl and those less tech savvy. Good location and close by with plenty of parking and other stores to visit.

I had to renew my expired license and health card. The wait in line took about 20 min at about 2 pm. I must have had good timing as the line up quickly built up after that! Once I got to a booth everything was fast. It took 5 min to renew both pieces of I. D. Make sure you have the correct ID and paperwork with you to make your visit go as smoothly as mine did.

I had a great experience at this location. The service rep was extremely polite and helpful with Health card and Drivers License. The wait time was 1 hr but you register at the kiosk and be notified by text when your number is coming up. No need to stand in line. Took my dog for a walk.

As mentioned by others, the check-in system is really great. The young lady I dealt with was very efficient and knowledgeable. I would avoid going at lunchtime, since I believe many customers come on their lunch hour and they are short-staffed due to their own people taking lunch.

Renewed my health card there. Service has improved quite a lot comparing to previous visit. They even installed a new queuing system so that you do not have to stick in a line all the time. You shall receive a message when it is almost your due. Friendly staff, fast and efficient. Nice experience.

They need to do a better job providing accommodations to persons with disabilities - especially given the current pandemic. My mother - who is a senior citizen, immunocompromised and uses a walker was required to wait in-line even after we had asked if there was anyway she could be seen sooner. There were many people taking their masks off within feet of her in order to have their pictures take for their driver's license. The staff lead/manager told me they would only prioritize people with a disability if the wait time was more than an hour. Moreover, they required cash only for a sworn affidavit - something we were not informed about in advance and something which (luckily) we were able to get in-time. The lead/manager also treated us in a terse/rude manner after we had asked if there was a policy to prioritize persons with a disability. I cannot imagine how a person with a disability is supposed to navigate this on their own without a support person. Service Ontario, please do better.

For phone users the new check in system is great. I don't know how my mother would navigate that though. Even so, I'll get her to come here. The gov website could be better in outlining what you need to bring for plate replacement - and the woman on the gov phone, though pleasant, gave me incorrect info. Gov website could also mention that the peeling B-series plates have been recalled and therefore replaced for free.

Service was quick during my visit here on a Thursday afternoon around 3pm. Had to check-in and be on a waitlist, but you can shop around in the Canadian Tire and they will text you when you can get seated in the waiting area. Waited about 5 minutes max until I was actually called up.

I would recommend going somewhere else, for all the comments about how seamless the check-in system is I would give it up in a heartbeat for more people actually serving the line. I arrived, checked in, and was notified I was #25 in line with an estimated wait of 51 minutes. I wandered around for a while and then 51 minutes later I had only progressed to #18. How is that even possible, they only served 7 people in almost an hour!?! Bigger Service Ontario locations might have more people in line but at least they move.

Excelent service! The lady helping me immediately knew what to do, was very polite, communicative, and courteous. I had a very pleasant and efficient experience. However, this service Canada may need to hire an additional person to deal with the high volume of people. There were 2 or 3 persons working. The numbers being called should be visibly listed as it is difficult to hear in such a large, fairly noisy room.

Service was friendly and very efficient. When I arrived I was able to use my phone to sign in and could see my place in line on a large screen. My wait time was only 25 minutes when I arrived and I was 12th in line. Staff were very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service.

They have an easy check-in method that you can do on the spot with your phone and it tells you the wait time. Then you can wait outside or browse the store while you wait. I think the majority of people leaving negative reviews here just didn’t bring the right paperwork and that’s not the fault of the Service Ontario…call ahead and be prepared with all your documents and then the process should be fairly simple if you did your homework before going in.

A decent service Ontario, but the check in could use a little work. Located in a Canadian tire store on the second floor and the check in option is great, but it's confusing to a lot of people. Was busy and had to wait about an hour. You MUST scan the QR code, text a number, or use the computer system to get into line. You should immediately be told the wait time and get a text if you have a cell phone with info and a link. If you don't, you likely messed up.They will also text you when your turn is within the next 20 mins roughly. Unfortunately, I realized many were just loitering around thinking they were in line, when a woman asked me if I was in line and I said she needed to use the computer or phone to queue up and then half the people in line ran to the computer to use it. There isn't a speaker system and only 3 booths total. So if you arent huddling around the front, or around the computer screen, you likely can't hear or see them call your name. There is no pre-screening of people and docs, so make sure you check and bring what you need to save yourself long waits for nothing. Plenty of free parking and a washroom. Nice being able to roam the Canadian tire or other stores while you wait. The woman I dealt with was friendly and helpful.

Extremely long lineups, unfriendly staff, rude. Don't even bother asking for supervisor Teneisha, zero customer service skills, bad leadership. You are providing a service to fellow Torontonians, smile it's free, be helpful, as a team, help people understand what you need, nobody likes to be spoken down to, or berated, especially after waiting 1.5 hours!

This location is the best experience I ever had in service Ontario. You get a number and they text you when they are ready to serve you, instead of waiting in a line for hours like the other service Ontario

So the wait for 2 hrs but the good thing is that you can give them your cell # and they text you when it is about to be your turn. This helps a lot as you don't have to stand in line doing nothing for 2 hrs.

Pretty long delays, but the booking system made it somewhat easier. Only complaint, the system should be available online so that you don't have to head into the location first.

My experience was the best of any Service Ontario centres. Queuing process was organized and smooth. Wait times were manageable. The staff were professional, clear, and courteous.

Great service by the person who assisted me in getting a new health card. What he didn't tell me, unfortunately, was that I still can't use the temporary one as it doesn't have the new numbers on the back. Overall, 45 minute wait and the outcome was positive.

😠 There is a separate queue for appointments and one lady just went there without appointment. The counter lady did not even tell her to go back in line or book an appointment. At least be mindful that so many people are standing in queue and only 1 counter is operating because of your staff shortage!...
