I
wanted
to
try
this
place
for
vegan
Chinese
food.
The
ambiance
of
the
restaurant
is
nice
with
friendly
staff.
They
have
a
collection
of
different
teas
for
sale
apart
from
the
dining.
I
tried
a
takeout
of
the
bbq
seitan
based
on
the
number
of
positive
reviews
it
has.
The
price
was
$18
plus
tax.
Taste
was
okay
but
not
so
great
as
described
by
other
reviewers.
Though
it
says
bbq
and
have
their
own
sauce
for
it,
it’s
nowhere
close
to
being
a
smoky
flavoured
bbq.
It’s
just
a
sweet
sauce
that
is
similar
to
honey
based
sauces.
While
it
was
juicy
and
tasted
good,
it
was
deep
fried
in
oil.
The
portion
size
is
small
for
a
20$
item.
It
barely
satisfied
any
hunger
and
could
have
been
15$
max
incl
tax.
Also,
going
vegan
doesn’t
necessarily
need
to
be
healthy
and
environmental
friendly
and
this
item
is
the
best
example
of
having
so
much
sugars,
deep
fried
in
oil
and
being
soy
only
product
that
induces
wrong
hormones
in
the
body.
There
are
other
types
of
proteins
that
are
being
engineered
out
of
plant
based
products
not
just
soy/tofu
and
these
vegan
restaurants
can
try
them
too.
We
may
be
doing
a
favour
to
the
environment
by
not
eating
meat
but
in
the
process
destroying
our
own
health
isn’t
the
way
to
do.
Overall,
I
give
the
restaurant
and
friendliness
of
staff
a
4
star
but
if
the
‘vegan’
term
refers
to
only
soy
based
imitation
of
meats
then
it’s
a
1
star.
