From the minute we met Lauren and her team we knew we were in good hand. After several frustrating experiences with other caterers, there was absolutely zero hesitation in trusting Lauren. Not only was the food and service incredible, but Lauren's team has the ability to take on executing any event from beginning to end at a very high level. Had I gone to her first, I would have had Lauren take on our entire wedding, no planner needed. I cannot say enough about how professional, organized and committed she is to making every event a success. Not only does she run an impressive business but the food is out of this world. My only regret from our wedding is that I didn't eat more! If Elle cuisine had its own restaurant, we'd be there every week! Ellecuisine recently catered our 12 person private dinner and did an absolutely amazing job. From the seamless planning process with Dena and Wimela through to the expertly crafted dishes by Dale and Melissa. We had 6 different hors d’hoevres and a 4 course meal each better than the last! Everything was perfect. Dale was a perfect host - very professional - everything made from scratch and delicious. Everyone at the dinner thought it was the best dinner they had ever had. Melissa went above and beyond and outdid all our expectations from, decorating, to drinks to leaving a spotless house - she made the whole evening run perfectly. We will definitely have another catered event from Ellecuisine soon!

I recently hosted an engagement party in a private room for 80 guests. Elle Cuisine was excellent to deal with leading up to my event. During my event, the entire team (chefs, servers, event manager, bartenders) was outstanding. Very helpful to me during set up and so professional and gracious with guests and the building concierge. The food was excellent and plentiful. I would highly recommend them without any hesitation.

We just used Elle Cuisine to cater an in home work party for 30 people and am so happy with the service they provided. Organizing the event with them was really straight forward and Miranda and Wimela were very attentive to our needs. The food was excellent and the service provided by the team at the catered event was very professional. No doubt we will use Elle Cuisine again for our next catered event!

Elle Cuisine absolutely made our at-home wedding. They helped us to create a customized cocktail reception, communicated with us all along the way and provided professional and exceptional service the day of that had us relaxed and enjoying our big day. They left our kitchen cleaner than when they arrived. All of our guests raved about the food! We ordered 4 small bites and 4 small plates and each guest loved something different. A major standout though were the braised beef short ribs. Well worth the price for a smooth and decadent experience.

Elle Cuisine’s catering is delicious and their service impeccable. Truly Toronto’s finest. I’m now impressed and inspired at the gourmet options they have created to bring joy during the quarantine. We took the gnocchi virtual cooking class with chef Lauren Mozer herself and it was stellar. Top quality fresh ingredients were delivered the day prior - the box included even the 'pinches of salt' needed for the recipes. During the live lesson, Lauren patiently taught us to make gnocchi, tomato sauce, ricotta cheese and Parmesan crisps - all from scratch. I can’t believe we learned so much delicious goodness in under 2 hours! Can’t wait to take more virtual classes - highly recommend!

This Christmas I decided to cater the holiday meal so I can spend less time cooking. I chose Elle because I loved their menu selection and the pricing was reasonable given the number of items. Ordering and pick up was very straight forward. There was one item missed and they delivered it to my home the next day. The portion sizes were very generous and the heating/preparation instructions were straight forward. The taste was amazing! I especially loved the French onion soup, mushroom risotto and sticky toffee pudding. I will definitely consider ordering from Elle in the future.

An absolutely incredible experience of catering for our intimate wedding. Miranda helped us, and was patient, organized and open to suggestions. She worked seamlessly with us to curate a beautiful menu, and guided us with suggestions of what our afternoon and evening would look like. She gave tips and made the process so easy (but it does help if you're also quite organized ;-). We also found the price to be very reasonable for what we finalized. On our day, the catering was perfect: the supremely talented Nikkita was our chef, cooking on site, while Amelia and another caterer were attentive and always ready with canapes and the many drinks we had to offer guests. Dinner service was impeccable, evenly paced, and nothing broke the flow of the evening. We especially appreciated that the catering team worked with us, and were flexible with both time and what was to be served, and when. The food itself was delicious! Canapes included grilled prawns, lobster bites, grilled truffle and brie and spring rolls and all were freshly made, fragrant and perfectly seasoned. Mocktails were delicious, so easy to drink, and dinner was exquisite! Salmon was perfectly seared, nice and hot, and vegetables were crisp and fresh. Tuna tartare was firm and zesty, and the grilled chicken was tender and so full of flavour. Elle Cuisine accommodated vegetarians among us with a squash risotto, which I heard was equally good. We had a fresh and flaky peach galette and sumptuous death by chocolate cake, which we eagerly scarfed down, but it was the incredible lemon raspberry wedding cake that stole the show - 6 or 7 layers, light and fluffy, perfect mix of tart and softly sweet... we were in heaven. The team took the suggestions I gave and made the most beautiful and delicious cake of my life. We could not have been happier! Cleanup was perfect: within just an hour it was as if the whole team had never been there, save for our bursting bellies :) Few weddings are memorable for the food, or the service, but we are so appreciative to have worked with Elle Cuisine. Thank you for making our day and our guests so full of delicious delight.

We used Elle for our engagement party and had an incredible experience. Their staff was friendly and helpful. Communication leading up to the event was frequent and consistent. The food was mouth watering, especially the truffle Mac and cheese (none was left by the end). Our guests loved the food, the bar staff, and so much more. Highly recommend using Elle for any upcoming event. They handle everything!

I decided to hire Elle Cuisine on short notice to cater dinner for my wife's 50th birthday with family members (14). The contact person, Miranda was quick to respond to all of my concerns, one of which were the Vegan family members and one person with many food allergies attending. The staff that arrived at my residence was Mickael (Chef), Alex (event Manager) and Emilia. I could see how meticulously organized they were with the many labelled coolers and containers they brought inside. The food, the service and the attention to details from all 3 members of this team was exceptional. I would highly recommend Elle Cuisine for any special evening or event.

The elle team is highly professional and friendly, and they ensure that however you are celebrating, that you are nailing it. They make events worry free and accommodate any need you may have. I was at a private party catered by Elle Cusine this past Saturday. It was by far the best service and food I’ve ever had at a private function. Melissa was the manager running the operation and she was an absolute gem! I asked to put some gnocchi aside for my wife who couldn’t attend and she was more than happy to oblige. Derek was our bartender and took care of the crowd with extreme professionalism but was still super fun to be around. Thanks Melissa and Derek! You two made my night and I already passed on your contact info to my family to reach out for our own functions!

One of the most important parts of our wedding was the food and elle cuisine did not disappoint. The food was phenomenal– my only regret is that I didn’t eat more of it! We had multiple guests tell us that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding and the rave reviews keep coming. Elle Cuisine went above and beyond my expectations for a small, intimate gathering celebrating my sister's 60th birthday. From the first email inquiry to the delivery, Miranda was exceptional. She worked with me to stay within budget while still providing awesome, generous quantities of food, and a great presentation for my sisters 60th. She, and many of the guests are still in awe of the tasteful food and the presentation.

Absolutely love Chef Lauren Mozer & Elle Cuisine - the food and presentation is divine (braised beef short rib) and the full service is friendly professionally and top notch. Elle Cuisine catered a full dinner service for our daughter's bat mitzvah in 2015 and I had been looking ever since for the next celebratory occasion... which turned out to be this year during Passover and the pandemic. Lauren & team saved the day, and safely delivered the whole Passover dinner (matzo ball soup, gefilte fish) with all the seder plate fixings. Elle Cuisine is the best. We selected Elle Cuisine for our corporate holiday breakfast event this year. As this was not our first time working with them, I have a fair comparison and can comfortably share that this was the worst experience in terms of the food provided. The omelette presented were the size of 1 McDonald wrap. They tried to limit us on the number of items you could place in the omelette. The eggs did not taste real. They did not offer any protein such as bacon, sausages, etc. The tray of dessert seems store bought and we were limited to 1-2 pieces each (which becomes a problem when you serve child size omelettes and no protein. Prior to the event date, we noticed that they did not have an actual event coordinator helping to develop our menu. Our contact was an accounting representative that continually focused on the deposit and final payment i.e. we made an adjustment to the order that affected the final cost and even though our event was only a few days away , they kept hounding our staff to submit payment for the addition to make sure the deposit amount was exactly 95%. To then keep reminding us that final payment has to be made before the event takes place. The complaints from staff continue to build. They are in awe at what Elle Cuisine offered as a breakfast experience. As a company that hosts many events, I am usually very supportive of service providers who try their best to provide great service. Those who only want money and ignore the importance of the client experience, well...
