I went to Black Sheep with my friend on a Wednesday night, and they were playing techno music, which was quite exciting. The atmosphere was lively and crowded, with a lot of people immersed in the music and enjoying themselves. However, there was one thing that really bothered me – the bartender taking the liberty to automatically include tips for herself on the bill. Naturally, I would have left a tip regardless, but I strongly believe that the choice of tipping should be left to the customer. It's an essential aspect of customer service that allows patrons to express their satisfaction based on the service they received.

Excellent service & tasty food! We enjoyed our visit from start to finish, the staff was very friendly & attentive. The manager Sebastian was a pleasure, he came by to check on us throughout our visit. We ordered a couple appetizers; the Calamari was absolutely delicious, it was crispy with a little kick at the end. 😍🌶 For our mains we picked the Oysters on Half Shell & the Lamb Chops. The oysters were very fresh & came with all the garnishes. The Lamb Chops were flavourful & tender. As for the desserts, I recommend the Butter Tart. I am very happy with my first visit to Black Sheep, I recommend checking it out on your next date night or dinner with friends. 10/10

I only started coming to Black Sheep because of the F*** Buddies podcast live shows, and it's an amazing vibe! I hope they have future shows here as it's a perfect excuse for a night out, and it's great entertainment. Highly recommend the brownie à la mode, as well as a cocktail from their extensive list!

Dropped in for the Secret Society Wednesday Social. Was not disappointed! Tasty food, nice spirit selection, wonderful ambience, and a very friendly staff. Can't wait to go back when the patio is open!

Worst service I’ve received in a long time. When we arrived we waited to be greeted and seated for about 10 minutes. We ordered food and drinks and when the server dropped off our drinks gave us one incorrect drink so had to return with the right one. Then dropped off food and they had run out of what my friend ordered so he said I’ll be back to get your order. After more than 35 minutes he never returned. We asked two servers if we could order something no one came to our table and helped us. Terrible service. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Food and drinks: were very mediocre. They had a long list of items that were not available to eat or drink.

Have had a great time three months in a row now at the F Buddies live show that's held here. I never would have known this place existed if not for the show (it is hidden upstairs), but it has such a great vibe that I'll absolutely be back with friends. I'd also recommend it to anyone looking to rent a party venue (such a cute cocktail reception idea). The servers are extremely nice, the food & drinks are great, and the seating is comfortable and not too packed in.

Had quite a disappointing experience at this place. Stopped by to grab some drinks, and at first everything was going very well - the patio on the third floor, quite cozy, music and decor were very nice, and our waitress was friendly and helpful. Although, when the food arrived - it wasn’t good at all. Chicken bites were 80% batter, sausage roll and fries were mediocre at best (not sure how you make fries NOT tasty..). The cocktails were OK - I think my negroni was rather light on gin, but then it’s just my taste. The worst part of the evening was that after we received our initial order - the waitress just forgot about us. She didn’t check on us a single time in >40 mins, and in 5 times she was walking around the patio and I was waiving to get her attention - I was simply ghosted, so ended up not even getting to the second drink and leaving. Overall an okay place, but was not a pleasant experience for us.

I was here for a private function and Black Sheep was an incredible host. There were fairy lights adorned on the walls and pillars, the bartenders were friendly, and the flatbread and wings were pretty tasty. Lots of folks had to park near Metro and beyond since the parking by Black Sheep is quite limited. And finding the entrance is an adventure in itself. You need to find a door by the Popeye's/Brazen Head parking lot with a literal black sheep sign to the right of the door. Upon entering, take an immediate right and use the elevator to go to the 2nd floor. Then you'll arrive at Black Sheep. #ContestEntry

We hosted our small 30 person wedding reception here and it was nothing short of AMAZING. If you're looking for a cool, bright, awesome vibe patio/dining room this is it. The decor & vibe is nice but chill with lots of string lights, white brick walls and cool decor. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food and loved every single thing from apps to dessert. The staff were so attentive to our wishes as the bride and groom, all our guests, and drinks were flowing! If you like good food and a cool atmosphere, book your wedding reception here!

Cozy ambiance, 10 minute walking to BMO field. Food menu is limited and portions are small. I strongly recommend trying their cocktails

Just Horrible. Wanted to go to Brazen and we were basically forced upstairs by a rude hostess who laughed at us for asking how long for a table at downstairs. The food was so bland and a lot of it seemed to not be very fresh - sausage rolls were so dry they were inedible, the cocktails were average when we finally got them (and that’s being generous) but by far the worst thing about this place is the service. Waited so long for absolutely everything and the restaurant was not even busy. The atmosphere was terrible and the drinks expensive, same beer upstairs is not only SMALLER than downstairs it’s more expensive for what you get ?!? Madness, Will not go back.

Love this rooftop gem in the heart of Liberty Village! The setting is more intimate and seating is great. The selection of cocktails and appetizers is delicious! I highly recommend visiting.

It was an absolute blast! The oysters were so good! I've travelled the world eating oysters and these were the best locally! And 5 -7pm they have a happy hour with buck a shuck and $40 dollar bottle of bubbles!

Varied but unique cocktails. Menu with something for everybody. Cozy atmosphere and nice ambiance. They have a space for live performances and we watched Fbuddies do a live podcast recording - they were hilarious. Crowd got super into it with questions and callouts. If Black Sheep brings them back, make sure to check it out! Cocktails go better with laughter.

Restaurant and bar with the best atmosphere, you have to go on a Wednesday night to enjoy the music and drinks especially if you like electronic music since every Wednesday local DJs play the best tracks, there is no better place to go in on a Wednesday throughout downtown Toronto if you are looking to do something different, secret society always brings the best vibes!

We were looking for something yummy and not too pricey. We came in thinking it was a tavern, but the host asked us if we were okay qith sitting upstairs. To our pleasant surprise, the second floor was this beautiful loft type layout with comfy and calming vibes. We were treated well, they have an amazing non alcoholic cocktail menu too and the food is honestly amazing, fresh and well thought out. I had the cob salf and added chicken and it was the best salad I've had at a restaurant. All ingredients were so fresh, paired well, blue cheese was great amd the chicken was cooked so tenderly. Next time I go to Toronto for a concert I'm going here. Staff were wonderful as well.

Four of us went to a Cocktail Class on June 2nd and we had a great time! Michael and Aleks were fantastic, very knowledgeable, and charming. Everything was so organized and explained so clearly and they even had snacks! Totally worth the price. Thanks for an awesome time!

Exceptional service, taste, dog menu, dog friendly environment, and super amazing house special hot sauce (we asked for it on the side). Honestly could not have asked for a better experience. 10/10. Will be returning next time we’re in the area. It was worth the 1 hour drive with the Gardiner closure…

Nice patio and friendly service. This place has some great cocktails - our group had 6 different ones and they were all well presented and tasteful. If you're looking for a nice place to grab a drink and relax this is a good call.

Prices are too high for the watered down drinks. It was over crowded inside and they didn't check vaccination records. Only good thing was 1 competent waitress.

We recently organized our friend's post wedding lunch here and I cannot say enough good things about the staff, the venue, and the food. We were thoroughly fascinated by the entire experience of coordinating with the Event's Director at Fab Events to the execution of the plan. The staff at Blacksheep (Nick, Flor, and Sean) were as delightful as they were competent. I want to thank everyone at the Restaurant for contributing in making my best friend's wedding an absolute cracker of a memory. We will keep coming back - you know it!

Absolutely horrible. Steak tartare was not seasoned it was tough. The oysters with lime were absolutely disgusting. The seafood tower looked like the only fresh thing in it was the garnish. I asked for a sparkling water that was flat. Absolutely horrible experience. I would not recommend going to this restaurant. The price was not worth the disgusting food. I told my server to mention to the kitchen staff that the food was absolutely gross however I paid because I was in a date and I didn't want to cause an issue. If I could rate this place a -1 I would

My friend and I stopped here for drinks and dessert on a Friday evening. It was not busy at all and we got the outdoor patio to ourselves. Lovely decor and great servers. The Queen Bee drink was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Super sweet and stronger when you add the Prosecco provided. The Galette cake that is paired with it was awfully dry. Our server said that you’re supposed to pour the Prosecco on it to moisten it but it didn’t help too much. My friend ordered the Vagabond with tasted like BBQ water but if you like Mexcal you may enjoy this drink. Overall we would return to maybe grab food but drinks and dessert are hit or miss.

Black Sheep 🐏 is a different kind of experience to be had in the heart of Liberty Village. Located right in the heart of Liberty Village, Black Sheep is a great place to visit , especially if you haven't been. The staff at Black Sheep are calm and collected and are able to assist you with your orders when ordering. The menu at Black Sheep is quite small as it has quite a diverse menu. The menu consists of appetizers , mains and desserts. If you haven't been to Black Sheep, now is the time to.

We hosted a work event at Black Sheep and it went absolutely seamlessly. The team was extremely responsive and professional - our guests had a lovely time. The drinks, food and atmosphere are great - I highly recommend hosting your next event here!

Went here last night to check it out- BEAUTIFUL spot, the server was so friendly and the food was awesome. We were recommended a spicy pineapple cocktail and it was the perfect pairing with the tacos. Our server approved of my order and even showed off a taco tattoo. This is a perfect date spot, or just when you want to feel special. I am going to go back for sure!

Had a fantastic new years eve party here! Sam and Austin made our night by providing excellent service for our large group on short notice. The food and cocktails were great! Place was clean and had a great atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

Killer original cocktails on a gorgeous rooftop patio. Great music, food and service. Pleased my snobby Montréal tastes for coolness 😜

probably the worst restaurant I have ever been too. We were originally recommended this place by family friends and extremely excited to go. When we got there, we were seated and then ignored for 30 minutes, until we went to a server and asked for menus. And that took another 10 minutes to come. Our server came to us once took our order, then ignored us for the rest of our stay. The food took over an hour to come and all we ordered was fries, and a chicken sandwich. The fries came out very cold, and the sandwich fell apart in our hands. We had to go to the bar and personally order our drinks after many failed attempts to get our waitresses attention. We asked for the bill serveral times, but ultimately was not surprised it took another 20 minutes for the bill to come. It caused us to be late to our concert, missing out on the opening act (which we told our waitress many times is the reason we need the bill). I am highly disappointed on the way we were treated, and the service provided. If you are looking for a restaurant to go to before an event, or even just for lesuire: this is not the place. Save your money and go elsewhere.

👍 Good food as always! Convenient. Kids friendly. One star less because in the men’s washrooms there is no arrangement for baby diapers change. I managed it somehow but for a single dad with baby it is not convenient. I hope management would put up something to resolve it. Thank you.
