Jewellery is a very personal thing... it should tell a story about the person who's wearing it. And here is my story. If you are looking for anything jewellery related, within any price range, then this is your one-stop top shop! I am very picky when it comes to jewellery, and I tell you It is the only jewellery store that I deal with in Toronto. They're so much selection to selections to choose from, I just want to buy them all. That being said, my last purchase (before my 24K ring and my Bracelet 24K etc... but who's counting lol). This pendant I didn't have to try it neither see it physically, Because MINH CHÂU always made the best 24k gold. I am not here to neither brag about this shop, but I tell you by experience they are heavy duty. I just want to say many thanks to Ann who help me find the right Pendant who have the patient as an angel. She always there to smooth it out the transaction. No need to bargain, she give you the price that worth your buck. MINH CHÂU please keep providing the most wonderful choice of gold like you always been doing. This jewellery store is as good as it gets! Over the past year, I've brought two broken automatic watches to Minh Chau for service and they've been able to fix them within a week for a very fair price. I have to give a big shout out to Tan, the horologist/watch expert at this store for his exceptional skills and customer service. This place is a hidden gem and should be your go-to place for watch and jewellery repair/sales. These guys are the best!

Put a deposit just before COVID came, couldn’t make a payment until last year because of restrictions. (Mind you I had lost my job until recently) was planning on purchasing it this year and the grandma ended up giving it away as a wedding present. As much as that is, I don’t see how anyone would expect good fortune giving something like that.

This place is very good for repairs. My watch has been broken for a long time and they managed to fix it at a very cheap price point. I can’t complain!

Quoted me a fair price for servicing my watch, then lowered it when the needed adjustment wasn't a big one. Even showed me how to adjust it again myself if needed. Set the time/date, cleaned it up, in and out in 5 minutes. Will be back here if I need any more work.

Wanted to share how happy I am with the people and service at Minh Chau. They're so courteous and very good at what they do, and with reasonable prices. I came in last weekend to have the battery replaced on my watch. The watch expert there is the only one I will trust with my watches, no matter the brand! I also had a favorite costume pearl necklace that had broken and had some other issues. It had been sitting unused for a while, because I was not sure what to do with it. They presented a perfect solution, and re-strung it; and because I asked if it could be made a little bit longer, they suggested putting knots between each pearl to extend the length. It turned out perfectly and I was really pleased with the result - and they turned it around so I could pick it up the next day! I'm a Minh Chau fan forever!

Bought a very nice 18k ring, customer service was very very very VERY good and prices are very fair, unlike other jewelery stores. The store has a large variety of jewelry!

I really can't recommend Minh Chau highly enough. This wonderful long-standing family business is exceptional in so many ways, it's hard to know where to begin. I'll start with the warm environment, which makes me look forward to visiting the amusing and intelligent Thanh (pronounced 'Tan'), his elegant wife Ann and delightful daughter Joanne, and the others at the store. I quickly felt a real personal connection with Thanh and his family, and by now consider them friends. Next, Minh Chau has truly exceptional service, whether you are in need of jewellery repair or are in the market for something new (their selection of 18K and 24K pieces is amazing---see below). I first visited Minh Chau to get a repair done on a 24-carat S-shaped clasp. A different jewellery store had 'fixed' it but in such a way that it almost immediately broke again. Thanh had a better, very clever strategy of repair and did it on the spot. I then brought in a bunch of other stuff for him to do, all of which he did beautifully. I wanted to wear my grandfather's wedding ring on a chain---Thanh helped me pick out the most exquisitely beautiful hand-wrought 18-karat gold chain (see pics; it's magical!) and he made a very beautiful round 18K link with square edges to attach the ring... it's perfect, much nicer than what I had imagined. I also had a double string of pearls that I wanted to extend with some other pearls I had. Thanh suggested just restringing it, and the result was again perfect. Finally, I had a lovely old ring setting from my grandmother that I wanted to put a star sapphire in. Before finding Minh Chau, I had tried to have this done at several other jewellery stores, but they always said, 'Oh, it can't be done'. Thanh said, 'Sure, I can do that' and the result is lovely. Minh Chau is also exceptionally reasonable in price, both for the high quality work done and for the beautiful jewellery they have in their store. To be honest, I always think Thanh doesn't charge enough, but I'm not complaining! Again, I really can't recommend Minh Chau highly enough. It goes without saying that you can place full confidence in this long-standing family business... they will take impeccable care of you and your jewellery. Now, on to our next project... pearl earrings... I have an idea, Thanh... see you soon!

Minh Chau Jewellery is a store where they pleasantly mix professionalism with friendliness. Ann helped my mother and i this time. She's extremely knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. She made sure we took our time to make our decision rather than rushing us through the process. Another redeeming factor is their processing time. We had a pair of ear rings specially made for us. We were in there on Saturday, Oct 4 and I'll be picking up the ear rings on Friday, Oct 10. I was given the option to pick them up sooner but my schedule won't allow it. We've never had a bad experience at Minh Chau Jewellery. I completely understand how they've been in business for 40 years! If you're looking to buy some jewellery, a watch, anything of the sort for your loved ones for the holidays, I highly recommend them.

I called this store exactly 15 days ago to inquire about a Jadeite ring I wanted custom made and was told to send an email. Till this day, I still have not received a response. I had no choice but to look elsewhere as they didn’t take doing business with me very seriously. The only reason I’m leaving 3 stars is the customer service over the phone with the lady I spoke to was excellent, however I will not be doing any business here in the future or recommending anyone to the store.
