I
am
very
pleased
with
the
service
I
received
yesterday.
What
follows
is
a
detailed
account
of
my
experience,
but
in
short,
the
receptionist
was
polite
as
was
Dr.
David
Haile-Meskale,
and
Yusra,
the
clinical
assistant
who
syringed
my
ears
was
outstanding!
She
was
friendly,
polite,
took
her
time,
and
carefully
and
effectively
restored
hearing
to
my
previously
fully-blocked
ears.
Despite
the
long
wait
time,
I
would
recommend
this
clinic
to
others.
Background
story:
This
walk-in
clinic
was
recommended
by
a
friend
who
has
always
had
good
experiences
for
his
own
care
and
that
of
his
kids.
I
needed
to
have
my
ears
syringed.
The
first
walk-in
clinic
I
had
gone
to
was
in
Agincourt.
The
doctor
confirmed
that
my
ears
were
indeed
blocked,
but
invited
me
to
return
the
following
week
if
needed.
The
second
walk-in
clinic
was
in
Bayview
Village
and
they
said
they
were
a
fee
for
service
clinic
and
that
since
this
procedure
wasn’t
covered
by
OHIP,
I
would
need
to
pay
$20
per
ear
in
cash.
When
I
showed
them
my
red
and
white
card
(my
green
card
arrived
in
the
mail
today),
the
second
receptionist
said
they
couldn’t
serve
me.
When
I
sat
down
to
decide
on
my
next
move,
the
first
receptionist
came
over
to
ask
if
I
was
going
to
pay
$100
to
be
able
to
be
serviced.
Needless
to
say,
I
declined.
Yesterday
morning,
I
arrived
at
MMUCC
to
see
a
filled
waiting
room.
The
young
receptionist
was
very
polite
so
I
don’t
think
she
was
Simran
whom
other
reviewers
have
complained
about.
Because
I
still
had
my
red
health
card,
the
iPad
registration
didn’t
work
so
she
registered
me
on
her
computer.
I
knew
my
wait
would
be
long
so
I
asked
for
a
ballpark
time
of
20,
30,
or
60
minutes.
She
said
it
would
be
at
least
an
hour,
but
I
could
wait
in
my
car
and
they
would
call
me
when
there
was
only
one
person
before
me.
Yesterday
was
a
“stay
home
if
you
don’t
need
to
be
on
the
road”
day
so
I
opted
to
wait
in
my
car
rather
than
go
home
(I
live
close
by).
After
the
hour
had
passed,
I
decided
to
pop
in
to
see
where
I
was
in
the
queue.
I
felt
bad
for
the
two
moms
with
young
children
who
were
still
in
the
waiting
room.
Again,
I
asked
for
a
ballpark
of
20,
30,
or
60.
The
receptionist
said
it
would
be
another
hour
because
only
one
doctor
was
in
(no
doubt,
s/he
was
the
most
junior
doctor
on
staff
so
they
had
no
choice,
but
to
come
to
work
despite
the
storm).
After
the
second
hour,
I
had
to
go
in
to
use
the
restroom.
The
receptionist
said
no
problem
(the
one
in
the
general
waiting
room
was
out
of
order)
and
that
actually
there
was
now
only
one
person
ahead
of
me.
Dr.
Haile
was
friendly
and
after
I
explained
my
situation,
he
checked
my
ears,
said
he
was
surprised
I
could
hear
anything
and
said
they’d
be
able
to
take
care
of
it.
As
I
said
before,
Yusra
had
a
fantastic
bedside
manner
and
she
was
worth
the
wait.
I
will
return.
