Don't Gogh! If you are expecting a spectacular showing as seen from TV shows, Google images, friend reviews, etc...I urge that you don't waste your money going to this show. There is a good reason why. They moved to a tiny storage room to make space for Klimpt (which makes sense), but with no indication anywhere that the venue has changed. The ticket price is still the same as before and to make the matter worse, most of the room is useless except for the front. As you can see from my photos, there are pillars and vents that block your view and everyone is only facing towards the front because the other parts are so disconnected. Overall, it felt very amateur and low quality and I've never felt so ripped off. Also! The customer service does not care as long as they continue to make sales. ^_^ PLEASE don't waste your time and money. I recommend Monet instead. It was absolutely beautiful, and totally worth it. Well, as long as it stays in the current venue. :)

Please like and follow. Nothing impressive about the place. It feels everything was prepared on a shoestring budget. Nothing fancy. Bought the VIP ticket, and what a joke for a VIP treatment. The ticket for 20 minutes show for 50 dollars is too much. There is nothing remarkable when it comes to spending the extra money. A RIP OFF. Highly recommend that you only spend on the minimal ticket. We saw Van Goch, and it is an ok show highlighting some of the paintings. A projection with some animation. Not immercive enough as the room used for the projection is poorly prepared.

I had a wonderful time attending this light show. The artwork was skillfully enhanced with layers and magnified, allowing us to appreciate every intricate detail and gain a deeper understanding of the art. The artist Van Gogh was successfully conveyed a range of intense emotions and thought-provoking sentiments. I enjoyed the music selection for this show, which added to the overall pleasant experience. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys peaceful moments. A great activity to go as couples and with older kids.

$50 for a basic timed session is pretty steep, even though we loved it. I mean, it would have been great if food was included or something. PRO: The session allows you to enjoy this immersive experience for a full hour but the art is displayed for 30 minutes at a time so my family and I stayed for the full hour to see the art twice. I guess nowadays, everything is for the ‘gram and we did just that, took a gazillion nice photos with amazing backgrounds. Props to the staff for being so organized and the security team for holding the floor down, no issues with the show, everyone who attended were respectful and didn’t move/run around the room. CON: The social distancing circles are badly placed. It’s 6m apart but I find that they’re way too close to the art itself so you get a stiff neck at the end of the session. Souvenir store can be located right after you exit the exhibition. Again, steep prices. A magnet is priced at $15.99 and a face mask with Van Gogh’s art on it is a whopping $25.99 - just to give you a ball park of how expensive things are for this show. There’s a QR code at the entrance, it provides you with some audio background. Check this out if you want to know the history of Van Gogh. Some benches and chairs are placed further from the wall so those spots are good. There’s also a platform where you can walk up the stairs and stay there for 5 minutes to get a top view of the art (nothing special, it’s not a better angle). Below the platform is a secret room, a 4-wall mirror, highly recommend you take some cool photos in here. NOTE: Please read the exhibition website before you enjoy the show, there’s a whole list of prohibited items (backpacks, camper chairs, etc.). Be sure you’re aware of what NOT to bring otherwise, they will make you check-in those items for $7.25 before you enter the exhibition.

I’d say this is a “No Gogh”. $45 for an adult ticket to stand in a room for 30 minutes to watch images from Van Gogh’s paintings transform on the walls. The walls were not smooth so all the doors and lit up exit signs were distracting. Wasn’t very crowded at all. Maybe if the tickets were half price it might be worth it as something to pop in and see.

Went to see the Immersive Van Gogh. The show was enjoyable, for sure. However, I have to admit I did not enjoy the experience as much as other such shows I've seen. First, the place seemed understaffed. Single-file entry manned by 1 person which seemed to take forever to get through. Inside, the space was smaller than you'd like, with lots of features on the walls which draw your eyes away from the art. Benches are hard and few; frankly, even with the 'cushion' I rented I was not as comfortable as when I sat on the floor. Coming out, took forever to return my cushion and get my coat. Thankfully some other staff spotted there problem and helped out! Bless you! Ultimately I'm glad to have seen the show. But being a single guy, I don't consider this a date venue and caution others who are not able to tolerate some discomfort.

Basically a bunch of floating paintings in a basement warehouse. Not worth the $35 per person that you pay for the basic ticket. I would go see this if it was free. Don't waste your money, just google Van Gogh and you get better quality pictures on your phone. And best part is your view is distracted by all the exit signs on the wall.

I went for two consecutive years and will probably go for a third one too. Magical experience, well curated art and moving music to support the vibe. It’s immersive experience so you can go Gaga with what you do there while being respectful to others ofcourse. There is no limit to how many times you can go on one ticket which is the best part.

The exhibit is a beautiful way to see Van Gogh’s most famous works come to life. Some of the transitions and effects can cause a bit of vertigo, though. I attended a barre class beforehand, hosted in collaboration with Sweat & Tonic, so I got to watch the show twice, and with a relatively small crowd too. I can imagine it would be quite an overwhelming experience to only watch it once or to be there with lots of other people. The exhibit demonstrates what technology can do to let us experience art in different ways, but I wouldn’t say that it makes the experience of Van Gogh much better for traditional art lovers.

For the price of the tickets and parking ($100) it wasn't worth it for only 30min show. I expected a lot more for the money. Don't get me wrong, the presentation of his artwork and music was fantastic but traveling in from out of town and almost 45min commute each way for a 30min show just wasn't justified. Should have done more to make it worth it.

It's actually the Van Gogh Art exhibit. In 2020, I worked here as a bartender and enjoyed it. This past Saturday, October 7th, my friend and I went to see the exhibit for the 2nd time since it is here for a limited time. We really loved and enjoyed it as well ❤️ a must see for sure if you love art.

This was a wonderful experience! Once you pay for your ticket you can sit and enjoy the show as many times as you like, I truly love that it's the whole room and if you miss something on one wall you can turn over and see it another and it just involves you in this artistic experience

BE WARNED: The immersive king Tut is a complete waste of money, especially the VIP. You pay an extra $40 for a cushion that goes on chairs that are fine without it. The show itself is for 10 year olds at best. It was poorly delivered, something like a 90s Disney-like cartoon with bad graphics on 4 walls and a very slow burning story line about the afterlife. Make it educational, make it more real and factual instead of fiction. Make it like a 3D experience of the real tomb so people will pay to see it instead of travelling there. This was not an experiential event. Grown adults are paying $40-$80 for this 40 minute show and it was not worth it at all.

If you're looking for an interesting date idea in Toronto, check out the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibition hosted by Lighthouse ArtSpace. If you're an art lover it's definitely an interesting experience. At certain points it did feel like you were truly immersed in the art and the transitions are done beautifully. The entire show probably lasts around 30-40 minutes but the time flies by. They have different price points so no matter your budget you'll be able to grab a couple of tickets. The experience is quite unique and they also offer deals for tickets every once in a while so keep an eye out for them if you're interested in attending. We were able to snag their buy one, get one free deal for Valentine's Day. Overall, it was a fun experience! For more reviews checkout @_date.nights on Instagram!

Very organized entrance and fully attentive staff. Amazing show!! From the moment you walk in right until the end you are amazed by the magic of Van Gogh mixed with great pieces of music and stunning visual effects. The only minor thing that comes to my mind is that I wish the quality of speakers were better. I think the show could be even more dazzling with higher quality sound. All in all, a must go for everyone who appreciates Van Gogh and music.

I have to say, I wasn’t expecting to be so moved by the Immersive Van Gogh experience. From the brilliant 360 degree animations of his work to the carefully selected music, I absolutely loved it! The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the cost of the ticket. Also, wish I had brought a sweater as it got a little chilly towards the end.

The Disney immersive experience was better than expected. The young kids will love it. It is however, just a 1 hour reasonably compiled cut of various scenes and songs from Disney animation movies.

I was expecting something more extraordinary; the immersive experience in Casa Batalló in Barcelona (I went last summer) was more spectacular. Some parts of the show are disrupted by the columns and pikes in the room. The store is ok; take advantage of the 75% discount to get a good deal

Honestly not as what we expected and feel is being cheated. It's only projection onto the wall and floor nothing more. A little bit disappointed and feel not worth the ticket. Don't expect seeing anything real paint works from Van Gogh though. It's only projection to showcase his works and mostly a good place to chill and kill the time. Not recommend unless you are a Van Gogh lover maybe it will impressed you.

Came for Disney Immersive, thankfully there were cheaper tickets for the last show of the day. Quite short and the exhibit was also small with only one interactive portion.. Drinks and food was ridiculous, 6$ for a small paper bag of popcorn. We did enjoy the Disney aspect and sing along, but wouldn't have come if we knew how small the exhibits were

What an experience! Came here for the Disney Immersive experience. VIP is the way to go - there was definitely a lot more to see and do than a regular ticket holder. We arrived later than had been suggested and we missed a few of the areas. It was great to learn a lot about the animation history. I do think the experience was a little strange - you are provided a pillow to sit and we were sitting for a majority of it as it felt as though that was what we had to do. I assumed that this was the first part of the show and that we would then walk around and see other things that the pictures suggested. It is very much projectors on walls of a square and rectangle room. It wasn't until halfway through the what was not a "sit down show" which we had assumed, that we got up and started walking around - the experience is WAY better when you are walking around! They don't tell you that the large rooms are all connected and play the same videos so you can easily roam around and not miss a thing! My suggestion is to keep moving around and take it all in. We will be going again as we felt we missed much of the "immersive" experience from sitting but what we did get to do made us want to come back.

Phenomenal. I can’t say it enough. I have been to see this spectacle of colour over ten times. I originally saw the exhibit in Montreal, but this show outdid itself. The combination of music and Vincent’s bold brushstrokes told a personal story for each visitor to the exhibit. The way the artwork moved and different pieces of art were combined together was simply genius. Because van Gogh’s artwork was so humble and spotlighted the ordinary person, each one of us could connect to the art where we were at at the moment we viewed the exhibit. The combination of the artwork with Luca Longobardi’s composition was a brush of genius. Sadly, a decision was made to move the show to Gallery 2 which is markedly smaller than Gallery 1. The price of the show at peak hours did not change which I felt was a bit unfair. Gallery 1 allowed you to wander freely and view the show from various perspectives, including from atop an upper gallery. Gallery 2 seemed a bit claustrophobic to me and gave me a limited view. I would love to return once again, but will be sure to enquire if the show has moved back to its original space. I wouldn’t go if it is still in Gallery 2. Now that the Nutcracker is over, I’m hoping it will be back in the larger space. Fingers crossed.

We came here to see the Van Gogh exhibit. It really was amazing - exceeded expectations. We had tickets for 2pm and were let in about half an hour early. The exhibit runs on a 40 minute loop. You can stay as long as You want, the timing is more for the beginning and end of the loop. There’s limited seating and a lookout perch for different views. Totally captivating. Would definitely recommend!

The immersive Van Gogh exhibition captivated my senses with its mesmerizing interplay of light, color, and sound. The dynamic projections brought Van Gogh's masterpieces to life, creating an enchanting experience that seamlessly blended art and technology. It's a must-see for anyone seeking a unique and immersive journey into the world of this renowned artist.

LISTEN TO THE AUDIO! People are not listening to the audio story!!! There is a story being told on the application while the visual effects are being presented. The audio is a huge part of this and I think people are missing it in reservation’s email. I suggest the staff should remind ppl when checking them in. It was so annoying seeing ppl talk and walk and take photos without listening to what is happening. By the way it was phenomenal!

Came for the Disney experience. Is wouldn't call this really a true Disney experience. Disney pays attention to details from beginning to end. This was just a warehouse and a video projection of some (and not even most popular) Disney clips and songs. Not much interactive parts to the experience but good place for kids to run around I guess.

It wasn’t a bad experience, the kids enjoyed it but for the price not worth it at alll!! We got the vip package and even the goodies at the end were flimsy and cheap. I was so disappointed! I am a Disney fan I have been to disney world, Disney land and also on the dis way cruise 3 times. My kids age 5 6 and 1.

A good experience for the kids and I guess a family event, It is overprice for what it is. It was more like a giant movie screen with some special effects, it was cute and interactive. Having the Disney name on it make the ticket price not worth it for what you actually get, I give 4 stars cause both my sons loved it, for me it was just ok.

  • 3/5 Nicole C. 8 months ago on Google
Great for kids. I started to love it. Then my motion sickness kicked in and i had to leave. It looked so much fun, the way things moved on the floor. I was there for 15 min. If I didn't have motion sickness 5 stars and giving an awesome review. The people I went with, they loved it.

I enjoyed the experience. I expected more than one room, but I thought the music was great and really tied in perfectly with the art. If you attend, please don't spend the whole time taking selfies. It really ruins the experience for the rest of us.
