Great location. Nicely furnished room. Spacious bathroom. Great TV. A few improvements to reach 4 stars at this price level: housekeeping should change sheets when conducting housekeeping, bathrooms need more racks to hang towels, and customer service could be a bit more consistently responsive.

1st time over the Hilton where I normally go and this was a great experience. Rooms were very clean and nespresso coffee in the rooms is a nice touch. Bathroom very nice, the hand shower was not working, ans water pressure good (I am fussy of pressure). Front desk and concierge very pleasant and helpful. One elevator did smell not sure why, one the right facing the elevators. I will consider coming back as restaurants nearby and 15 min walk from Union. Mediterranean restaurant in hotel looks very nice and romantic, will try. Back and customer service has been outstanding esp thanks to

We stayed for a couple of days and we had such a lovely experience! Easy check in and check out, very clean environment, and friendly staff. Lots of activities/restaurants in walking distance and the rates are quite reasonable. The room was tidy, spacious and we could barely hear the outside noise. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed downtown for one night before we had to head out for a tournament. Great hotel - new , modern and an unbelievable location downtown. Excellent front deck staff. Rooms really beautiful and spacious. Quiet with all amenities you would expect. Valet the next morning was terrific - packed our car better than we could and filled us up with waters before we headed out. Great option if staying downtown - will definitely be coming back

Had 2 concerts on back to back nights, so just needed a room for the in-between. Having stayed at a bunch of hotels in our life (cheap, and not so cheap), we found a pretty decent price on a room at a hotel we'd never tried. The location was solid and reviews were good, so why not. After checking out, my wife and I discussed, and came to the determination that this was probably the best hotel stay we've ever had! The room was huge (needed accessibility, and it definitely was accommodating). Check in and out was simple, valet parking was simple, the staff were extremely polite (all, from front desk to valet to cleaning staff. They all had smiles and were very friendly). My wife was extra excited when she got to the room and saw L'Occitane toiletries (her favourite). Honestly can't find a single negative! With its proximity to most of what we do in Toronto, we will definitely be staying here again in the future!

We were so glad we chose Sutton place over the weekend! Wonderful place, very clean & tidy. The amenities were excellent and the staff was fabulous!! Fabian and John were outstanding and went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend booking your stay here next time you are doing a trip to Toronto. Location was perfect, close to everything. We enjoyed the Christmas market at the distillery district and enjoyed a nice stroll back which was a nice walk. Thank you for everything, we will be staying with you again in the future!

wow - i would never have picked this hotel but we had a Strategy session with 20 people and the manager picked the Sutton Place. This is my new favorite hotel in Toronto. Boutique feel but has all the important items including an amazing lobby bar and restaurant. The rooms were huge with an incredible bathroom/shower. The mattress was so comfortable. The Gym and Pool was a highlight as well. Can't wait to go back.

A special thank you and mention have to go out to Julian. We could not figure out how to get to the entrance of the hotel from King St. Julian not only gave us directions but jumped in the car with us so we wouldn't get lost. We were running late for a wedding. A cab was going to take 20 minutes. We did not have an Uber app so Julian used his app so we got a ride right away to the ceremony. It has been a long, long time since I have experienced such excellent customer service. Julian needs to be cloned. I would go back to the hotel and recommend the hotel based on my excellent experience. The bed was very comfortable, room was a nice size and having coffee in the lobby was a very nice touch.

We loved our stay at King Blue. The room was spacious, with high ceilings, large windows and a nice chaise couch. The bathroom was really spacious too, with beautiful amenities. The Nespresso is a lovely touch! I had a quick swim in the pool and it was great. There are showers, lockers and towels provided. One of my favorite features was the Chromecast - it was so nice to binge some of our shows after a busy day of exploring. The King Blue's location is excellent - close to so many restaurants and activities. Finally, I must say the staff were helpful and very friendly!

Excellent new hotel in downtown Toronto. The service and people working in the hotel were top notch. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. It took a bit to get used to a shower without a curtain and there was zero view from the window but that's minor. I'm knocking this down a single star because $400+ total for one night puts it outside most people's affordability range.

We visited this newer Toronto hotel recently for a short stay to celebrate a birthday. The hotel itself is new, modern and centrally located in Downtown Toronto. It’s an easy walk to many cafes, restaurants and shops. The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable and very spacious! The beds and linens were comfortable and high quality. Our room was at the end of a hallway where it was quiet and we enjoyed a very restful stay. Others have noted the lack of on-site restaurant, but it didn’t affect our enjoyment of the hotel. There are many places to eat nearby and there is a bar/cafe in the lobby where you can purchase items if you’d like. I originally would have rated our experience as a 4 because one of the amenities that prompted us to book here was the swimming pool, and it was sadly unavailable during our visit due to a maintenance issue. This is was a big disappointment for us but I have to say, the staff really did their best to make up for it. Everyone that we interacted with was helpful, professional and attentive, and their stellar service earned them 5 stars from me! The added touch of a personalized card and truffles for my daughter on her birthday were such a nice touch as well. Thank you King Blue for a great visit. We look forward to returning.

This hotel is beautiful. Responsive, authentic and friendly customer service during check-in, stay and check-out. Extremely clean, comfortable rooms with bathroom spacious and stocked with quality amenities. Light breakfast items were available which was perfect. Location to many venues great. Would highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to visit again!

I had a short stay at the king blue and yet received the best service I’ve ever experienced for a hotel. The staff were so accommodating for a situation that arose with my dog, and treated her as if she was their pet. The room I got was in great condition, clean, fully stocked with what I needed and not outdated. Our room faced king street but the windows were thick and muffled a lot of sound. Lots of food options nearby and a shoppers drug mart open until midnight across the street was very convenient. Looking forward to coming back soon.

My husband and I recently had an amazing 1 night "getaway" at the King Blue Hotel. We both travel a lot for work and have stayed in many hotels in and out of Toronto. We haven't come across a hotel like this one in quite a long time. The hotel was clean, beautifully but simply decorated and very quiet/peaceful. Service from staff was helpful, friendly and professional. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening but check-in was smooth and we even got upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise. The suite was actually heavenly! The rooms were well appointed with many lovely features throughout the suite. The bathroom with a deep tub, separate shower and even an enclosed toilet was so spacious. The king bed in the bedroom was so comfortable and we had the best sleep we've had in a long time! The hotel is located right in the heart of great restaurants and bars. It was a lively Saturday night downtown but the noise from the street did not disturb us inside the hotel room. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this hotel stay. It was exactly the treat we imagined and we are looking forward to another visit in the future so we can take advantage of the pool and the restaurant that we were told will be coming soon. Loved our stay at the King Blue!

Excellent service and sophisticated style, beautiful luxurious room. Outstanding! Just travelled through Europe this summer and we could fit three rooms in the room we had last night for the same price in Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona or Rome! Excellent value! Loved the extra touches such as the closet light turning on when you opened the door. Lovely comfortable furnishings and stylish decor.

This hotel is a hidden gem!!! Clean, beautiful, and amazing location! Everyone here was so lovely, hospitable and friendly. I am so happy I decided to stay here overnight despite having so many options in the area. Sutton Place will now be my go-to for solo trips as well as family staycations ♥️✨ I loved every second of my stay!

Well, we have officially entered the world of self serve hotels: no room service but go to the restaurant and pick it up, you set up your own entertainment with your device and cast for any tv viewing - if it works and you don't need to call maintenance. It's wonderful to be put to work instead of relaxing which is what I had in mind. The thing I kept hearing was we are only three years old so working on things. The bed was comfortable but the staples jutting out of the carpet made walking in the room, uncomfortable. With the downtown core a ghost town perhaps explains why they have "checked out".

Absolutely a gem. It was so nice to come back to a cozy hotel room. Hotel is clean and immaculate, beautiful design throughout. Location is central. Will definitely recommend and come back for a stay in the future.

Wife, kid, and self spent 3 nights, nice place. All the staff were very polite and friendly, but Ahmed stood out. Ahmed came up several times to get our chromecast on TV working. When all that failed, Ahmed got us moved to another room then came by again later to make sure everything was perfect. He even came back one more time with bandages after one of us had a minor injury. Thanks again, Ahmed.

Situated in the heart of downtown, walking distance to the CN Tower, Roger's Center and almost beside the theater district. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. And the staff is excellent. This is our go to choice for corporate travel to Toronto.

I booked a large work corporate stay, over 40 rooms over the course of a week. Working with Marshall, Wendy, Chelsea and Cekdar was outstanding. They were communicative, responsive, intelligent, helpful, and made my job as a facilitator easy. Everyone on my team was over the moon with the facilities, especially the gorgeous rooms and someone even commented about how the entire hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. It was such a joy to work with the entire team at Sutton Place, and this is clearly a luxury hotel in every sense of the word. I myself enjoyed a swim in the pool which was beautiful and relaxing! The main floor space attached to the restaurant was beautifully decorated. I cannot stress enough how wonderful it was for all of my out of town (and picky!) guests. Thank you to Marshall and his entire team!! We can't wait to be back.

Stayed one night and had an incredible experience. The room was extremely comfortable and large. Bed was comfortable and linen were nice and clean. Loved the Occitane product in the bathroom as well as the Nespresso complimentary coffee. Only thorn of my stay was loud guests around 4AM probably coming back from bars in the hallway but the Hotel has no control over that unfortunately. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. Fabian at the front desk was very kind to my daughter and I. Check in and check out weee quick and easy and late checkout way allowed without any hassle. I think I have found my hotel in Toronto now. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this hotel for our anniversary and can’t say enough about it . The location, cleanliness, amenities…. The room was a great size , not too big , not too small, very modern and elegant touches. But most of all, all the staff were amazing. Had 5 star encounters all around.

We made our resrvation several months ago and there was no mention that due to remodeling there would be no bar or restaurant. This is a minor thing but it took 3 requests to get wash cloths over a 2 day period. Something I have never encountered in a hotel. The windows were filthy. I kept the drapes closed, it was distracting. For such a high end hotel , your windows should be better kept. The staff was good and room pleasant. Be sure you check if all services are available when you book.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained. The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows offered were some of the best I've come across at hotels. Centrally located within walking distance of countless restaurants and shops, Kensington Market, the CN Tower. Our AC stopped working, and our room got quite warm, but staff were able to quickly accommodate switching our room. Highly recommend!

In conclusion, my experience at King Blue was greatly enhanced by the outstanding service provided by Mr.Cekdar and the entire reception team. Their commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction is truly commendable. I can confidently say that this hotel's reception service sets a high standard for hospitality, and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you to Cekdar and the entire reception team for making my stay exceptional.

I had an incredible customer service experience with Julian! He went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience during my stay. From his warm welcome to his attentive assistance throughout my visit, Julian's dedication to guest service is truly commendable. His friendly and helpful attitude made me feel valued as a customer. If you're seeking exceptional guest service, Julian is the one to rely on!

An amazing hotel in a great location in downtown Toronto. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was very big even with a family of 4. The windows are soundproof so you can't hear the construction going on outside, which was great. Parking is on site which is get convenient. Restaurants are all within waking distance, as is Rogers Centre/Sky Dome. I will look forward to returning to this hotel.

  • 4/5 David S. 7 months ago on Google
We selected the King Blue because we wanted pedestrian access to central Toronto. It satisfied that requirement perfectly. The lobby and restaurant were unavailable as they were being refurbished and there were construction works in the immediate vicinity so our stay wasn't 'the norm'. The room was spacious. Service, (only required to check in and out), was friendly and efficient. We would stay again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel and I must say, Ivan and Julian truly made my experience memorable. From the moment I walked in, their warm welcome and professionalism stood out. They were not only efficient in handling check-in and check-out processes, but they also went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met during my stay. Their respectful and attentive attitude truly made me feel valued as a guest. I can't thank them enough for their amazing job!

Location and rooms are great, pity there was no breakfast because of refurbishing works. We were not happy with the service because during a REAL fire alarm there was no-one to accompany evacuation, waiting for firebrigade and communicate subsequent "all clear"! This is not reassuring when you are woken up by fire alarm in the middle of the night.! One elderly lady with an impairment even got held up inside the building and no-one cared about this.!!!!

I recently stayed at the King Blue Hotel and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service and the overall quality of my experience. From the moment I checked in, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and all of the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay (except breakfast). The hotel's location was also a major plus, as it was within walking distance of many popular sights and attractions. Overall, I would highly recommend the King Blue Hotel to anyone visiting the area. It is a top-notch establishment that truly goes above and beyond to ensure that their guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay. Thank you Bai and the rest of the staff, I'll be back soon.

Absolutely modern property in heart of downtown. Front desk staff was so accommodating and welcoming. Close to all the major attractions of Toronto. Beautiful modern furniture with high ceiling rooms. Breakfast in morning added up to the best hospitality they offered. Definitely coming back on next my next visit to city. Highly recommendable!

Wonderful stay, great location. The place is brand new and the rooms neat and tidy. The couch is also super comfortable for someone to sleep on! They have little snacks and such for breakfast, nothing too fancy, but enough to fill your stomach. The employees were also welcoming and accommodating.

The size of the room was large. The room was very clean. The lobby was modern and beautiful.Staff were helpful and I did my check-in and check-out quickly. The location of hotel was good. It's close to Toronto's subway and you can find different restaurants and stores around it. Totally I had a lovely experience.

I travel to Toronto quite regularly for business and have stayed in many hotels in downtown but nothing compares with King Blue Hotel. The rooms and communal spaces are large, clean and sleek. It’s a no-nonsense hotel, with all the right amenities and a reasonable small breakfast on offer. Rooftop swimming pool is also a great addition. But what it really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Every person I talked to were friendly and helpful. Special mention to the manager Ivan who was a absolute star from beginning to end and helped me to resolve an issue with my travel agent. Keep up the good work.

We were extremely happy with our stay at this new hotel. Everyone was very friendly-rooms were pristine and well insulated for sound. We booked because of the close proximity to the princess of Wales theatre, but there are many great bars & restaurants within walking distance as well. Staff was always willing to help, and one staff member even ran outside to hail a taxi for us when our Uber cancelled at the last minute. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed at this property recently. The experience was not great. I spoke to the manager who was fantastic. He expressed his regrets and offered us a great deal next time. It's nice to see a hotel that cares about it's guests. Looking forward to staying here very soon. My wife and I came back to a great experience. we loved it. Thanks.

The five star reviews attracted us to this place originally as we needed a place to stay at downtown. First of all, we got lost in the parking lot underground as there were very few spots left (and marked) for the hotel. When we finally found a spot, we realized we had to push our stroller (with little kids) up the same ramp that the cars drive on.... There was no sidewalk designated for guests to safely walk on until you make it into the door that leads to the elevator. We dropped off our stuff, left the place, and when we got back close to midnight, there were no more parking spots left and we had to find parking from a nearby hotel! To make matters worse, the people next door were drunk and were trying to open our adjacent door multiple times between 2 am - 4 am. I was very scared that they would open the door at some point. We called the security and they helped calm the people next door, but my husband and I could no longer sleep at that point. We were very stressed about the parking and the security the whole day that it did not feel like a getaway. To be fair, the staff were nice, the hotel was beautiful and the pool was warm and inviting. This is consistent with the other reviews. But, all this to say, I would not recommend this hotel to those with little children. This place might be perfect for late night outs for adults, but for families looking to get around the area during the day or coming back from events at night, this is not the best place. To the hotel, I also recommend letting families know when you are giving them an adjacent room especially if the two doors cannot be completely locked (and can only be unlocked by staff) on both sides. I hesitated to post this review for almost 3 months because I was trying to forget the experience but want to be transparent to moms who do consider to come!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue King Hotel. The hotel was spotless and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They handled the Roger outage with grace and accommodated us in the most efficient ways. I highly recommend this hotel experience.

We used King Blue as the suggested hotel for our wedding guests and could not have had a better experience on our wedding weekend! Marshall and his team went out of their way to ensure everyone had a phenomenal stay and made planning a breeze. Our guests couldn't say enough good things about the hotel location, the quality of the rooms, and the kindness of the staff. The level of service is seriously 10/10. One of the best places to stay in downtown Toronto! We can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Thanks again!

This is our second time in Toronto and first time staying at the hotel in Toronto. When we first walked in we were amazed by how clean and bright the lobby is. And the rooms are huge with literally everything you need, microwave, a mini fridge, they even have a scale in the bathroom lol. The hotel is right in downtown Toronto, and the bus stop is literally outside of the door, so it is very convenient to go anywhere. The housekeeping team was also amazing, the attention to details, they will fold your cloth and put a hanger on the winter jacket that you put on the chair. Overall it’s a very good stay, thank you King Blue and we will be back.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were all extremely kind and helpful. I even saw them offering dog treats to another guest who had a dog, which was sweet. Our room was impeccably clean and well laid out. The bed and pillows were so comfortable- we had a great sleep. We also appreciated how it was a quick 3 mins walk to the Princess of Wales Theatre. It’s a great place to stay!

This hotel provided the best stay I’ve had in Toronto. The room was amazing and clean, the staff were attentive and willing to fulfil (reasonable) requests, and they were all very polite. We also enjoyed the pool which was well maintained. It is in a convenient location if you plan to see a Jays game or go to a concert at Budweiser Stage/ other event downtown. As for the negatives: Parking is a little more than other locations ($50) at the time of this review but it is valet and they took good care of the car, also they really need to hire a window washer as the outside of the windows was filthy. Overall, those are pretty small nitpicks when it comes to hotels. I will be staying here again.

Always have an amazing experience at this hotel! It's clean, well designed, and in a great location! Definitely recommend this hotel over others in the area. Best prices with even better service! Very quiet hotel as well, so you don't have to worry about any loud/rude guests during your stay.

The cleanliness of hotel and the attention to detail is outstanding. I see staff constantly cleaning and wiping counter tops and floors. The rooms are bright and showers does not have any residual mildew or mold. I'm not sure how old this hotel is but it is very clean. The location to the metro and bus lines are excellent.

Every stay we’ve had at King Blue Hotel has been phenomenal. This time we opted to drive and use the valet service - Dorian was excellent and handled our car with care. Highly recommend!

  • 4/5 Kerrie A. 1 year ago on Google
This was our first time staying at this property and overall we enjoyed it. Ivan at the front desk is the best. He was genuinely dedicated to ensuring we had a great experience as was Dorian the most excellent valet. I cannot say enough good things about him. I had a stressful schedule of events and juggling luggage and a dog with the appointments was bit much. He had some ideas that would be helpful and he was absolutely right. Thanks Dorian! I really appreciated your help. Pet parents: 1) every room has a fridge which for us was great since we feed raw and 2) the pet friendly floor is the 3rd floor which for this location could be loud. Reasons for taking off a star - the gap in the curtains was super annoying because of the extremely bright construction lighting across the street. It was like daylight streaming in which meant a bad night's sleep for all of us. The room itself was great and the bed was comfy.

Initially booked only a one night stay with my partner, but we enjoyed the hotel so much we extended our stay by one night! 4/5 for the rooms. The rooms were very clean and very spacious. My only complaint is that you can hear people in the hallway very easily during the night time and early mornings. I would really appreciate if there was more sound-proofing to keep hallway noise out. 5/5 for the service. Ivan was very helpful during the check-in, stay extension, and check-out process. The staff at the valet were also very helpful. Everyone was very accommodating. 5/5 for the location. Super easy to get around places because of its location on King St W. You are right in the centre of everything you need for entertainment and a Shoppers Drugmart and Loblaws Grocery Store are only a few minutes walk away. In summary I would stay here again and would strongly recommend this hotel for couples and young adults looking to enjoy Toronto's nightlife and other tourist destinations.

  • 5/5 Kris T. 9 months ago on Google
This place was pretty awesome! The location was right in the centre of the entertainment district. Everything was within walking distance even though we had a vehicle which makes getting from point A to B easy if you didn’t want to drive. The hospitality of the hotel staff was amazing. Even the booking process was simple and smooth. I would also like say a BIG thank you to Ivan (general manager) who ensured our stay was amazing and took care of any concerns. Julianna, Julian, Zara and Shivan at the front desk were all lovely and was always a treat to interact with, they are very helpful with anything that we needed and were just great to have a chat with everytime. Dorian, was there our first and last day and was so helpful with out vehicle and belongings. I definitely would recommend staying here and experiencing how great the hotel is and especially the staff, they are what makes the stay extra great!! Thank you and see you all next time. -K&B

Location was great. 5 minute walk to CN Tower and all kinds of food options. Service was really, REALLY good. The staff all the way from the front desk to the cleaning and maintenance staff all took the time to inquire about our comfort and satisfaction, were genuinely kind and cared to make our kids laugh and smile and even gave them some chocolates. Rooms very clean, beds comfy and the bathroom + shower were quite spacious. The only (minor) negatives in our stay were the noises from the hallway were very pronounced which made sleeping a tad difficult and the pool was too cold for us on the second day of our visit (but nice and warm on the first). However, the customer service experience more than made up for these and keeps my review at a well-deserved 5 stars.

I had an amazing stay at the King Blue Hotel! Everyone that worked there was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was beyond spacious, bright, and clean. I also loved that they gave out free water bottles, which I definitely needed because of the summer heat and humidity. The location was great, and within walking distance to major tourist spots and cool neighborhoods.

Great hotel staff were very helpful, especially D’Andre who took the car valet and gave me directions when we left! VERY comfy bed! Hotel reception staff saw we were very hot when leaving and gave us a bottle of water each for the road. Really great location walkable in 5 minutes to CN tower and loads of bars/restaurants nearby..would 100% stay again!!

I stayed here for two nights after my wedding and it was wonderful! The staff was incredibly friendly and offered the best service. The hotel itself is beautiful and our room was huge. We basically stayed in our room the whole time bc we were just exhausted but the pool looked luxurious! Will definitely be back to enjoy the hotel and its amenities to the fullest. Thank you!
