Food not too bad but felt my portion was small for the price. Service is snail like. Not overly busy but I've never seen such slow service before in a restaurant. Kids waited 15 minutes for a pancake with some cream and sauce. Staff were pleasant but not enough of them. Not been here in a few years and probably will be the same again.

Firstly we hadn't sat down and we were asked if we wanted anything to drink, we got our food and the portions were pathetic, my food went cold waiting on my sauce that they forgot to bring out. We asked to split the bill because there was so many of us and we were told to work it out ourselves, that's a first. I was in a beefeater two days before and this was all done for us, I said this to the waiter and got a reply "very good it won't be done in here" rubbish experience all together.

Good food. They have an outside seating area which is handy if you're a dog owner. Ordered a burger and a mixed grill. Good portions.

We had good value with offers. Steaks were over cooked but probably our fault for asking well done. Means different everywhere you go. Quite busy so had a bit of a wait.

Nice food, presentation could do with some help though. Can't complain about the place or the staff. Friendly and polite. Only lost marks on atmosphere because it was fairly quiet and it's a big place.

Food was decent, although steaks were a bit overdone. Potion sizes were good, filling but not too much. Staff were friendly and on the ball considering we had a party on 17.

I know Beefeater can suffer from having a chain restaurant reputation, but this is one of those absolutely golden locations you sometimes stumble on. The staff are lovely and accommodating, the restaurant itself is an interesting enough layout and shape that my kids always love running around it when we first arrive. The food is really good, which is the bottom line. The steaks are very good, the kids portions are great and the things you order that aren't steaks are better than you'd anticipate. Only negative recommendation would be to maybe skip the roasts on Sunday as we've had a couple that were a bit rubbish.

A below average eatery, with average food and very slow service (staff too busy standing chatting). The room was cold, with some customers sitting with coats on. The steaks were good, but everything else on the plate was pretty tasteless. Not terrible, but deeply average.

OK a Beefeater but I had six very good meals here. With a beautiful Grill masters meal on my last visit 😋 supper yummy. If I was going to be a little critical I would note at busy times you may have to wait at reception area for a little longer than normal. But perhaps that is a tad picky 🤔

Staff are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. However, food wasn't great. Pepper sauce was cold and I had poured it all over my steakbeforerealising. One of our steaks was very rare in the middle and we had asked for well done. Breakfast - bacon and poached eggs was also cold on arrival. I would have sent it back if I hadn't been in such a big hurry.

Ate at the beefeater in the evening and again the morning after while staying in the Premier Inn next door. The restaurant is super clean and the staff very pleasant. Food was good (standard menu stuff). Nothing was out of stock and service was very quick. A nice beefeater.

I haven't been here in a while, and it wasn't bad the late time, but how it changed. l under the cost of living has gone up, but the cost was stupid for what you got. Portion size was very small, and when the food was brought out, some of the food was missing. over all it was not busy, but I had to change my order twice as they didn't have what I wanted in. so overall, very poor, don't waste your time money. Just nip down town only 10 min way and have a much better meal.

Not my first visit as I live close by. The food is fine. Not gourmet, but not bad. I did have to ask for missing items on each course. The service was not great. There was no sign of supervision for the young staff. There was not a lot of atmosphere, but we were happy with our company. My main gripe is the state of the toilets. Cramped, dark and generally grotty. The skirting boards are rotting and the decor is dismal. I will be back as the food is fine and it is walking distance from my home.

Had a late meal hear after a long drive. The staff were friendly on arrival, we were down straight to our table and drinks brought within two minutes with food following straight after. We were served by a lovely Lady called Andrea who checked in on us several times. Great, couldn't have asked for more.

Starter was described as: Buttermilk Chicken Goujons. Chicken breast in a light & crispy buttermilk. What I received was some reformed chicken pieces in a herb breadcrumb. When I raised my concern with the waiter they didn't see the problem because I decided to eat it rather than wait for something they clearly didnt have, and they didn't seem to know what buttermilk chicken is. On the plus side the steak was as I would expect from a Beefeater.
