Shabuya is an all-you-can-eat shabu restaurant that is reasonably priced and offers a spectacular array of beef, pork, seafood, vegetables, noodles, tofu, kimchee, and so much more. There is a selection of appetizers, rice, and a sauce bar that hits every flavor palate. Everything is fresh, looks appetizing, and the service is always friendly and fast!

Edit - Still no metal utensils. Boiling soup shouldn't have cheap plastic forks or spoons. Original - I love Shabu! This all you can eat place was amazing except when a server is involved. Completely ignored for 13 minutes while people seated after us got immediate orders. Maybe they didn't like my beard...? Took 20 minutes to get a water. The meat tasted great! Really good quality ingredients. Flagging down a server to bring more meat was aggravating. I mean they look you in the eye as your waving then just keep going like they didn't see you. Maybe I forgot to take off my cloak of invisibility 😆

Loved this place! I would describe it as a fusion hot pot. I had to take away a star because we were very confused on how the place worked. The servers were very helpful & friendly but we had to ask. It would have been nice to be asked if it was our first time & then be provided an introduction. Either way, I totally recommend this place! The way it works: Your table is a stove top oven that you can control (controls are on the edge of the table in front of you (on either side of the table). Tell the server what type of broth & meat you want. You can also request rice & order drinks. They do not have knives but you can request a fork or scissors if you want to cut your shrimp. Everything else you get from the buffet table; shrimp, clams, fish balls, vegetables & sauces. Make sure your meat is cooked the way you like & turn your stove down so as not to burn the food in your pot. Request as much meat, rice and broth as you desire. We got the spicy broth but I still added some sauces and garlic to give it flavor.

    1. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Self bar is also super fresh! 2. Vibe is so nice and large, too. 3. Recommend original and spicy shoup with meat no.6. 4. Too much disposals. (Cups, sauce plates)

I like the freshness of the meats ordered amd the clean variety of vegetables for gourmet soup/broth! Great service as always yet lacks desserts.

I like the concept of an all-you-can eat shabu hotpot where each individual can enjoy their own soup base. I used to have shabu at other places but had to share one big pot with 2-3 other people. We came in during lunch, so it costed us $25.99 per person. You can enjoy unlimited soup and thin premium sliced beef. Other than those, you will be self-serving your own vegetables and seafood. $100 is not bad at all for 3 people. One con is the spicy soup base was a little salty for me.

I’ve never had Shabu before but it was ok. I took my kids and they had a blast cooking their own soups. There was a buffet so you could pick what veggies/noodles you wanted (fishy items as well) I am not a seafood person so that kinda grossed me out because a lot of the dumplings and frozen balls weren’t labeled and I was unsure what was in them so I didn’t get to try… I also wish there was a better description of the broths (since I’m new, I didn’t know what a house broth was or 2 of the others and my waiter wasn’t able to fully explain either) all together it was different and fun experience.
